If stairs are a problem for you, this may not be the best place because there are many. - "Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids ages 3, 6, 9, 11) stayed at the Southwind Villa from June 20-24 and had a wonderful time! The house is quite large - when we come back, we'll be sure to bring additional friends / family. The house / location was as described. It had a beautiful view of the harbor and we were able to enjoy several breakfasts / dinners (and late night drinks) watching the cruise ships come in, etc. There is a wireless speaker system that allowed us to listen to music as well - a welcome surprise. The pool was spacious and overall, the house was clean. It was well-stocked with things like olive oil, etc., which we could have forgone when we went grocery shopping. The house is multiple levels, so if you have kids, just know that they might stay in different parts of the house. That said, there was enough room in the master suite and main house for our full family. The bedrooms have air conditioners that work very well and kept us cool, despite the warm temperatures. And the beach umbrella / chairs and ice chest came in very handy! The welcome guide that Pat and Sally provided was full of great information and tips - we used it extensively during our trip, including restaurant recommendations, beaches to see, etc. And their short history of the island / area was excellent! Jerscillia - the onsite property manager - was excellent. She met us at the house, gave us an overview and was generally available with questions via text / phone. The only challenge was finding the location - fortunately Jerscillia sent us directions via Apple maps (we had a rental car - a must to get around see the island). Our Google Maps didn't work as well, but once we pinned the location, it was easy getting around. We would highly recommend Southwind Villa for the reasons above. - "We stayed there 5 nights just after Christmas this year (2022) and the property is as advertised. Any small issues where taken care of promptly. The manager was extremely responsive and professional. She even arranged for a driver to pick me up at the airport after my flight was delayed to the point where the rental car company I reserved a car with had just closed just before I landed. I ended up utilizing this driver and her son for our transportation throughout the island that week and cancelled the rental car. That actually saved me a fair amount of money plus I could relax instead of having to navigate the narrow roads while driving on the opposite side of the road from what I’m used to. Highly recommended to go this route. Completely enjoyed St Thomas and this VRBO. I’ll definitely be coming back to the island and even hope to stay at this villa again. I only wish we had more days. The first floor of our property has a/c and includes a huge kitchen equipped with brand new appliances as well as a breakfast nook and extra seating for your dining needs. Our property also includes two living spaces and a powder room on the first floor. The front living room is equipped with two sleeper sofas and a smart tv for your convenience. We also have a sitting room which is just the right spot to read, relax, or play some games when you have some down time!

The second floor has three bedrooms. The first bedroom has two twin beds that can easily be converted into a king sized bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed. The spacious master bedroom holds a king sized bed as well as a twin sleeper sofa. The master also has a dedicated work desk and computer chair. Guests can enjoy access to the upstairs porch right from the master bedroom with views of the mountainous island we call "Rock City." The master bathroom is also located within the master bedroom. There is an additional full bathroom on the second floor as well.
All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and smart tvs, where guests can access apps such as YouTube, Netflix, and more!

- "We had a fabulous week aboard Captain Kris’ catamaran. We were a little apprehensive at first as there were no reviews, but as soon as we met Kris and boarded the boat, all our apprehension went away! Kris is a very kind and patient person. He is a very experienced sailor and told us many stories of his past sailing expeditions – including going to Antarctica! The boat had plenty of space for us all to spread out. We had sent Kris our ideal itinerary in advance, and he told us it was optimistic. We had great weather for our week, and were able to get in every spot we wanted to stop at, and then some! The first night Kris had Painkillers ready for us – and they were amazing - even better than that at the Soggy Dollar Bar! We cooked most of our meals on the boat – which took some time as the stove and oven are a bit small for cooking for 9 people – but we had no issues. We helped Kris with the moorings and he even let my son drive the boat at times. We very much appreciated all the amenities on the boat including: snorkel gear, a paddleboard, a single kayak and an inflatable tandem kayak, pool noodles and chair floats to float in. Kris also has an Optimist which is a mini sailboat that he used to teach kids how to sail on. Most of our group had a turn learning to sail – even the men! Kris took his time and taught each person individually as much as much as they wanted. If you are considering this kind of vacation – we highly recommend Kris and his catamaran!"

Viola's private rental is a 10 minutes walk down hill to a nearby bus route and the main road. It is a 7 minutes drive to airport and a 3 minute drive to nearby seaports, restaurants and downtown St. Thomas. This room is very spacious with its own private entrance and private bathroom. This prime location is within walking distance of all the popular spots around town and is down the hill from the famous Blue Beards Castle. You will have complete privacy.

My home provides a comfortable setting for a person or couple searching for adventure and relaxation on their visit. You will have private access to the kitchen, common area, and bathroom. The Room is very spacious with a king-sized mattress and a 50" flat screen TV. Plus, you will have your own mini fridge for your convenience. The room also has a brand new A/C system and wifi.
