We are a 25 minutes ride to beaches in the East and 30 minutes ride to the ones in the North.
We have in Caguas, The Sheraton Four Points Hotel and Casino with music for dancing on weekends.

The open concept living room & dinning room will allow you to look out at the gorgeous views of La Sierra mountain range. There are 2 balconies, a large open TV room/living , an open kitchen with an island-- you'll love this house.

While this house is in the mountains top notch restaurants, hiking and everything PR has to offer are within a short drive. The airport is 45min from the house, Condado beach is only 30 min, Palmas del Mar beach is 45 min to the east side, while taking the ferry in Fajardo to Vieques or Culebra will only take about 55 minutes.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is a great, safe, gated community with security guards at the gate and guards making constant rounds. Every neighbor is very respectful to each other and very nice.

Getting around

It is necessary to rent a car**.

The house is located 18 miles from Condado- San Juan.

Public transportation on the island doesn't work as well as it does in larger US cities. Large families will be able to fit up to 5 Cars in our driveway & garage. There's also more parking in the back if needed.

House Rules

There's simple basic rules, no smoking or fireworks inside the house, don't break anything and everything will be great.

- "Very much enjoyed the location. For what the place offered, it was inexpensive. Had a large living and kitchen area. Huge patio right by the living area for hanging out, exceptionally good during the days when it was windy and relaxing. Lower patio has a large space we rarely used, EXCEPT for the pool room outside. Bedrooms were great and each had their own PTAC unit for cooling. The only complaint, if any, would be that there is no AC in the living areas outside of the bedrooms. But, with it likely being a remodel, it made sense. Even during the heat wave while we were there, the wind blowing through on the patio kept us comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you have a group of 4 or more."

The neighborhood is not walkable to shops, but as long as you have a car the drive is fine for nearly anywhere you want to go. The communication with the owner is excellent. - "My family often travels to Puerto Rico to see relatives and we usually stay in San Juan. We thought, let’s try something different. We’re so glad we did. Lomita Linda is a clean, comfortable, well appointed 3BR apartment in the hills outside of Caguas. The views of the valley are great, the neighborhood is small and peaceful, and we woke up to roosters (in the best way). The apartment is a 10 min drive into the center of Caguas, which is a nice place to eat out, hang in the central plaza, explore. There are many museums but we’re closed over the holiday. Beyond Caguas, we were just 25-30 min to San Juan (just avoid rush hour) and within an hour of multiple beaches, hikes, waterfalls, and towns to explore. The interior of PR is beautiful and much less touristy and built up than the coast. Staying in Caguas was a great way to enjoy the variety of PR while having a home base that felt increasingly “like home”. We had such a good time that we extended our trip 5 days! We will be back."

• Bedroom - there a queen bed (bedding is included), two modern ottomans, 32 inches TV and an amazing view to the mountains.

• Bathroom - there a modern shower, toilet, vanity and a Bathtub with an amazing view to the mountains also. Towels, soap, conditioner, lotion and bath-bomb for the bathtub are included.

• Pool area - there a 13 inches per 8 inches pool with a waterfall, pool can be used as a jacuzzi also, heater is programmed from 6:00pm to 12:00am but additional time can be provided as requested.

• Balcony area - there two modern egg seats, a fire pit and an electric smoker grill (traeger grill). This area have artificial grass.

The house offers 3 bedrooms and a TV room. Kitchen, dining and living room. 3 full bathrooms. A terrace and deck overlooking the mountains. Very safe neighborhood tucked in the mountains. Still close to center, stores and restaurants. The house is about 40 min/ 24 miles from San Juan airport and 15 minutes from the center of Caguas.
Some of the amenities provided include hand wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, paper towel, toilet paper , dish soap, and a dish sponge. While we make sure to provide you with the essentials, please note that we do not offer unlimited disposable amenities. 1 bath towel per guest and beach towels. It is your responsibility to review the services we provide and stock with anything else you may need for your stay. Gas for the grill is provided.
Because coffee is important to us, we provide a small bag of coffee grounds for your first cup in the morning.

The house is on a hill and parts of the roads leading to the home are narrow and steep but drivable with a regular car, a truck or 4 WD isn’t necessary.

Parking: Feel free to park top or lower level. The main entrance to the house is on the top level. If you drive a low car, be advised that the underside of the car may rub the ground as you enter the top level garage.

A quick example of how amazing the hosts are...on our last morning there the power went out due to a storm...we encountered 1 of the hosts as we were leaving bringing us breakfast sandwiches due to the inconvenience. Renting a 4 wheel drive vehicle is HIGHLY recommended as this property sits atop a hill and requires a little confident driving. We are already scheduling our next stay!"

- "This is the first (hopefully only) negative review I have ever made. Overall the apartment was comfortable, clean and modern as described in the listing and shown in the photos, but this was countered by what I deem several serious problems. Our stay started with difficulty handling the security key for the entry doors. The MAJOR PROBLEM was that there was NO HOT WATER at the kitchen and bathroom sinks, and the shower ranged from tepid to mostly cold. We heated water on the stove and in the microwave to help fill the sinks for doing anything. The host said the reason that this issue was not mentioned on the listing was that VRBO's platform does not give an opportunity to provide this type of information. Whether true or not, renting a vacation property without prior knowledge that there would be NO HOT WATER seems totally unreasonable. The stove's electricity was not connected so the electronic ignition did not function, and without any written instructions about how to make it operate, we only got it figured out when the host arrived several hours after we checked in. The lighting for the living, dining and bedroom areas were large semi-flush squares with recessed lights and blinking, changing color LED lights at the ceiling level. The host was unable to find the remote control to turn off these blinking LEDs which created a disco bar atmosphere, not a relaxing environment. Direct lighting was nonexistent over the sink and stove, making it hard to see what I was doing. Battery operated LED under-cabinet lights would be an easy solution. Additional minor problems included a ceiling leak into the bedroom and outside hallway. For the above reasons, I can only give this review one star."

If you are arriving after 1am you need to reserve the apartment from the day before your arrival as there might be a guest occupying the place and check out is 10am. Check in is 3pm and I am flexible with a few hours earlier but to avoid waiting it's better to book so you can check in when you arrive after 1am and have the apartment booked for you

Also there are times that PR shuts the water supply off for sometimes hours or days. Please be mindful of this and fill a few pots with water for sanitary purposes. We also have rainwater outside to use for sanitary purposes.

The hot water is heated by solar panels at the premises so the water on sunny days is extremely hot whereas on rainy or cloudy days it's lukewarm. Warm enough to take a shower especially after a hot day in the sun you might enjoy this better

There are 6 mango trees on the property that you can eat as many as your hearts desire while they are in season. This is one of the perks for staying here.

Laundry washer and dryer is available for free but you need to provide your own laundry essentials to wash your clothes. Please remove your laundry immediately as this is shared and other guests might be waiting to use it too. Thank you

Jablory is centrally located just steps from the “Plaza” where there is live music on the weekends, close to bars, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, shopping centers and nightlife. ABOUT THE JACUZZI:

We want you to make the most of our facilities, so for your use we recommend you take into account that to heat the water you must do it hours in advance, the jacuzzi is inflatable so it can take several hours to completely heat the water. This will depend on the temperature at which the water is located and to which you want to bring it. This is important to note that while you are able to raise the temperature, the hot tub is COVERED with the blanket. Please store the cover in an appropriate place where it cannot be damaged or damaged.

Check the set temperature of the Jacuzzi and think about lowering it when you're not using it.

Jablory Apartment has a small but practical living room. There is a modern and comfortable sofa bed for 2 people with one glass table with 2 stool bars that can serve as a small breakfast room. We have a table and chair that can be used as working space. The living/dining area has air conditioning. The entire living room has modern facies with modern lighting a show.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:

Jablory Apartment is a 1-bedroom apartment with 1 Queen bed. The room has full air conditioning, opaque windows and cabinets. Please note that to access the bathroom you must go through the bedroom.

KITCHEN:

Jablory Apartment has a fully-equipped modern kitchen for longer stays. Kitchen has a small refrigerator, stove, toaster, coffee maker, and microwave. It also has a modern lighting area.

Once in the property you will have access to the entire apartment including its terrace. There are 2 individual apartments each have their own amenities so it is requested and prohibited to cross or jump the guardrails to access the other accommodation and/or neighboring areas. In front of the main entrance you will find the 2 parking lots (you must only use the 2 assigned to the accommodation).

Other things to note
Jablory Apartments strives to provide first-class service and amenities to ensure our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All our properties are equipped with freshly washed sheets and towels. We offer 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel/jacuzzi per guest. If you stay more than 5 nights, we can arrange a change of towels (may have an additional cost), subject to availability.

Jablory Apartments provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include hand soap, bath gel, shampoo and conditioner, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 small amount of dish soap, 1 dish sponge. We do not offer unlimited services available. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock up on anything else that may be necessary during your stay.

The property has a gas grill (BBQ) in the terrace area which we make available to guests. We do not provide the gas!!!! (There is a tank that may be found with gas since if the previous guest does not use it completely it will be available for the use of the next guest but the host is not responsible for replacing it once it is emptied). For your convenience we provide information to request the gas service if you wish, in addition to the fact that within walking distance there is a small “mini market” in which you can also get the service.

The property has a solar hob.
