The villa comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests with 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 3 twin beds. Retiro del Sol is equipped with AC throughout, TV, internet, washer/dryer, beach chairs, and a cooler. The community pool is just steps away for you to cool off after a long day at the beach. Make sure to bring your pickleball gear to enjoy a great match as the community features two courts steps from this villa.

LIVING AREAS

The villa features an open-concept layout connecting the kitchen to the dining area, living room, family room, and terrace. All living areas, with the exception of the rooftop terrace, are situated on the first floor, with plenty of windows providing constant views of palm trees, the meticulously maintained grounds, and endless sky. The family room has a flat-screen TV and A/C throughout. The lovely terrace offers an outdoor dining table to enjoy al fresco dining. A half bathroom is located on this level.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The master suite, located on the third level, includes a king bed, full bathroom, closet, TV, and A/C. The three additional bedrooms each have a queen-size bed plus a twin bed. There are two bedrooms on the second level and two bedrooms on the third level (the master included). All bathrooms are stocked with complimentary organic amenities and plush resort-style towels. Every bedroom is equipped with AC, personal nightstands, black-out curtains, and a closet.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Our properties also typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Building quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
Any pool pass lost will carry a $100 charge (per pass).
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 11 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.

Beach house located in a private,
gated community in Dorado with access to private beach.
You can sit back and enjoy the spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean from either one of the two terraces. Swimming, snorkeling ,paddle boarding and kayaking ( we have kayaks and a paddle board, boogie boards and snorkeling equipment available) can be enjoyed at the private beach which is located 20 steps from the house.
There is championship golf course within a 5
minute drive. Dorado has a variety of restaurants all located within a 5-10 minute drive from the house.
Supermarkets and cinemas are readily accessible.
The house has 5 bedrooms which were remodeled in 2018 (all with new A/C's) consisting ;
bedroom #1; king bed, desk and chair, sofa and ensuite bathroom with ensuite bathroom (this bedroom is on the 1st floor); bedroom #2; king bed, balcony with a view of the beach and ensuite bathroom and a roofless shower; bedroom #3, 1 queen bed and a day bed ( 2 twins) , ensuite bathroom and door to the terrace; bedroom#4, king bed with ensuite bathroom; bedroom #5, 1 queen bed, ensuite bathroom and access to the terrace. Bedroom #4 and #5 share a bathroom but they have separate vanities . Tv/game room upstairs also has A/C and sofa bed. The house has 4 full baths with showers (no bathtubs) and one 1/2 bathroom. The kitchen was just renovated in September 2022- all new appliances . Wonderful view of the ocean while you are cooking!
House is not suitable for kids under 4 years old .

The wide variety of high-quality outdoor furniture made both decks favorite spots. The owner took great care to add personal touches throughout including stocked showers, amble beach towels, coolers, guidebooks & maps and more. The house, which is in a gated community with 24-hour security, boasts a living room with gorgeous views with plenty of seating and a well-stocked kitchen. Common areas on both levels have their own efficient mini splits as well as one in each bedroom. The free-standing bar and extra full-size fridge were also a plus. The “secret” half bath, with its’ access from the outdoors, made it very convenient to use when enjoying the outdoors. The house located just a short walk from the private access to the beach was even closer than we anticipated. The gate was conveniently locked and unlocked each day by security, but our own key was also available. Although the beach is shared by the gated community, most days it was secluded. We were lucky enough to see 3 manatees just a few feet from shore one afternoon! We had the privilege of meeting Diane, and she is just as lovely, warm and welcoming as her home. She was out of the country for part of our stay but remained in contact with me for any questions and had her friend, Debbie, available if needed. We’d definitely recommend this VRBO for anyone seeking a superior vacation rental in the Dorado area."
