Inside comfort is king; from a large sectional couch in the living room to a Tempur-Pedic mattress in the bedroom. The apartment stays cool from the hillside and trade winds, but there is also AC in both the bedroom and living room in addition to three fans to keep you comfortable. Every window in the house boasts an ocean view. The large kitchen has a “pay it forward” bar, ice maker, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster, chef knives, chopping block, Calphalon cookware, and a full size dishwasher. The living room has a blue tooth music player and a 32” flat screen TV with Amazon fire TV. High quality towels and linens are provided as well as basic necessities in both the bath and kitchen. Beach towels, chairs, coolers, and snorkel gear are also provided.

At the end of the patio a short flight of stairs leads you to two additional levels of decking surrounding a brand new glass mosaic pool. The shimmering iridescent pool is complete with a swim up bar and built in gas grill. Along the back of the pool is a large covered area providing shade for some club and lounge chairs. The smaller awning over the pool bar ensures that there is always some shade to be found within the pool itself. The pool area is the only space that is shared with the main house, but you can expect to have it to yourself most of the time.

Sailor’s Rest is centrally located in St. Croix, so you can get anywhere in 30 minutes and it’s only 4 miles to the shops and restaurants of downtown Christiansted. One of the best parts of this North-central location is that there are two grocery stores and a market within 5-10 minutes! This is a huge advantage over the East End. Moreover, located within the gated community of Judith’s Fancy, you are in one of the safest places on island. This family-oriented community is also a walking/running destination, boasting over 9 miles of private well-maintained roads. Judith’s Fancy also has the best surf break on island. From the apartment you can walk to the beach in 5-10 minutes.

Cleaning service is provided at the end of every week for visits lasting two weeks or more. This includes new linens and towels. Guests staying more than a week are also welcome to use the laundry facilities for their personal items.

Sorry, no pets allowed. There are a couple of sweet cats and a super loving Golden Retriever who live in the main house on the property. Please no smoking and no children.

We are sorry but the property is not suitable for young children. Children must be 10 years or older. We are firm on this. There are some large drop offs from the patio and pool which could be very hazardous to toddlers or inquisitive children.

The villa has solar power with battery backup in case of power failures. ROKU, DVD movies and a Wii station are available.

We ventured down the path to Jack Bay and Horseshoe Bay is right there as well - lovely and JUST US! Was like our own personal beach. (we were there the last week of July) 2. Seaside Market is the best grocery store. However, the smaller ones are well stocked but lack variety in meat/produce 3 The Bioluminescent Tour with clear kayaks was a must-do! 4. If you want to enjoy local fun go to Castaways - but be ready for a long wait for your food. It is worth it! We went on Bingo night and Trivia night - was fun. 5. Plan a 'down-day' to just hang at the house/pool - vacations that are go-go-go are tough. We took the last 2 days to relax and everyone went home not exhausted from vacation. 6. If you venture into the rainforest on Mahogany Road be ready for a beautiful but bumpy ride (we had a Jeep). 7. Don't fret about being on the opposite side of the island from the airport - easy drive and the island isn't very big - so getting anywhere from this location is easy. For the safety and security of our guests, our home is equipped with security cameras outside of all exterior entrances. This includes the back doors which overlook the pool area. There is a security camera at the entry gate on the street and at the walkway that enters the beach.

Guests are supplied with starter items such as shampoo, soap,
dishwasher pods, paper towels (1 roll) and toilet paper (one easily dissolving roll per bathroom) they are not gigantic rolls like most people are used to in the States. Please use this sparingly as we have a very costly, Eco friendly sewage treatment plant since we are located so close to the Caribbean Sea. The Yellow Coconut is a beautiful East End hilltop home with spectacular views over the Caribbean Sea, Altona Lagoon & the North Shore. The home has been featured in Architectural Digest. The grounds of the house are well manicured, surrounded by beautiful bougainvilleas, large palm trees, aloe vera plants, and many other exotic flowering plants and trees. The property is very private, so you will feel it's just you and the island with not a care in the world!

Our Property Manager, Jamie Lammering, will greet you at the airport. Jamie is originally from the midwest and has been on St. Croix since 2005. She loves this sunny island as her home, and enjoys vacationers falling in love with the house, and the island. Once you've picked up your rental car, Jamie will escort you to The Yellow Coconut. The entrance has a spacious parking area and professionally landscaped walkway to the arched front door and side courtyard. When you open the front door, you will notice the breezeway leads you to the large, saline heated pool, as well as the master bedroom suite, and the remainder of the house. The pool is kept at a comfortable 86 degrees year round. There are NO STAIRS anywhere in the house, making it easy to wheel or carry your luggage to your room.

The master bedroom suite is separate from the remainder of the house. French doors from the master open to a lounge-bistro covered dining area overlooking the views and pool. The room is very spacious, with a brand new king bed, new nightstands, new fan and a new 40" mounted TV that you can move to your liking. The master has a bath/jacuzzi tub and a tiled two person shower. The bedroom also has a walk-in closet.

We have two guest bedrooms, both with queen beds, nightstands, fans and TVs. One of the guest bedrooms has it's own ensuite bathroom with a tiled two person shower. This bedroom also has it's own closet.

The large kitchen, living and dining areas are very open with many places to sit and relax. The kitchen also has bar seating for two. The living and dining areas have comfortable seating for eating, drinking, watching TV, or just socializing. This area includes 4 french doors that open to the heated pool, deck and the garden area.

When you're at The Yellow Coconut, outside in the pool and deck area is the place to be. There are 6 chaise lounge chairs with colorful pillows around the heated pool if you're looking to bask in the sun and enjoy the spectacular views. If you're looking to escape the sun for awhile, we also have covered outdoor seating outside the dining room and master suite with plenty of places to sit.

The Yellow Coconut is in an excellent location. We're located 2 miles or less from all of the following: Christiansted, beaches, snorkeling, diving, golfing, marina for boating/sailing, and many restaurants.

Totally relax, unwind, and breathe while listening to the sound of the waves at picturesque Holly's Beach Folly.

This exquisite location, directly on the beach with accessible water (for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking, fishing, and more) and right across the bay from Buck Island, is privately nestled next to the St. Croix Yacht Club on the quiet East End. There are uninterrupted water views from the main, open concept living area of the house, the upper floor bedroom suite with deck (reached by a circular staircase), and from the wrap around deck by the house entrance. Sitting on the wide, outside galley next to a locally artist-painted blue vinca wall, around one of the bar-height tables on swivel chairs, you can enjoy your morning coffee, a meal, snacks, beverages, read, or enjoy watching soaring pelicans, lazy sailboats (or sometimes sailboat competitions!), listen to the singing waves, feel the breezes, and soak in the sun. The free-form pool is a few steps below this deck and surrounded by native vegetation that attracts sugar birds (bananaquits), hummingbirds, butterflies, and song birds. As you relax in one of the several lounge chairs around the pool, you'll be lulled by the sound of the waves and wrapped in complete privacy. Feeling adventurous? A few steps down and over the grassy front yard, and you're on your own sandy beach where you can easily play in the sand or just sit in the Sea. You can snorkel, scuba, kayak, swim, or fish right off the beach in Teague Bay, which is a protected area, and where you often see conch and local starfish, sea turtles, local fish, and sometimes very large tarpon which swim close to the shore (and are also protected). Holly's is elevated above the level of the beach so there are about 10 steps leading up to the house and also about 10 steps down to the beach.

In the house, there are two bedroom suites on either side of the open concept living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry area. The bedroom on the right features a king-sized bed and an outstanding rock wall. The bedroom on the left of the entrance can offer either a king-sized bed or two twin beds. Both bedrooms have a full-ensuite bathroom. The upstairs suite has a king-sized bed, a jetted deep soaking tub with a garden view in the large bathroom, along with double sinks, and a generous, walk-in, fully tiled shower. The lovely deck off this bedroom overlooks the Sea and with the large double doors open in the evening, you can listen to the waves as you fall easily to sleep! Spectacular sunrises and sunsets reflecting over the water are lovely to observe here as you privately welcome the day with a cup of coffee or reflect on the the day with a glass of wine.
On the main floor, the dining room showcases a locally painted mural of life in St. John, and easily accommodates 8 diners. The modern, fully appointed kitchen with granite countertops has a dishwasher, along with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, and a solid mahogany back door which opens to a small walkway area with an outdoor, propane, barbecue grill. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your use, off the kitchen and dining room. Next to the dining room is the great room featuring a rock wall back-drop, a large, wrap around couch, several chairs and lamps, a TV, DVD player, Wifi, and other electronics, puzzles, cards, games, and a small library. Extra tables are in the living room to catch your towels, sunscreen, beach finds, maps, do puzzles, or to just sit by and enjoy the view.
There is a spectacular Castle up on the mountain top across the street that you can see from the living room, twin bedroom, and the front deck. If you like to jog or hike, you can just go out your front door and along Mooring Road or drive about a mile to Cramer's Park, on the way to Point Udall (eastern-most point of the United States), park and you can be on a fairly flat, seldomly used black-topped road. There you will also see a giant satellite dish, 1 of very few in the world, called the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) which is the sharpest telescope on Earth or in Space. You will have access to Isaac's Bay and Jacob's Bay (in that area) which have great hiking trails to spectacular beaches and snorkeling where you will most likely be the only people there.

While you are about 15 minutes from Christiansted at this location, you do have wonderful restaurants (Duggan's, The Blue Water Terrace, The Cultured Pelican, and The Divi Starlight), a Casino, and a golf course within a mile or two and a nice mini-market gas-station (Ziggy's) less than 5 minutes away. From the Yacht Club you can charter a boat for a full or half day of sailing and snorkeling at Buck Island, or rent a day-sailer. You can also choose a deep-sea fishing expedition, go inshore fishing, rent a kayak, go windsurfing or paddle boarding, or horseback riding by calling some of the local businesses on your brochures or listed in St. Croix This Week, just to name a few other possible options.

The villa is located mid-island on St Croix and is within 15 minutes of Christiansted and 20 minutes of Frederiksted. It is 5 minutes from Cane Bay and the beach, snorkeling, and diving and 10 minutes from golfing at Carambola. There is a tenant living in the separate guest house on the hillside below the main house in case of emergencies; your privacy is their main concern.

The villa comes equipped with lots of extras such as beach towels, beach chairs, pool floats, various coolers, assorted snorkel gear, cd’s, dvd’s etc.

The driveway and exterior parking area/entrance are monitored by camera for your safety. The Hot Tub that was previously mentioned in reviews has been removed and the space is now a sun deck area that allows for late afternoon sunbathing.

The property is centrally located to all parts of the island and believe me, you will want to explore the whole thing. The neighborhood is beautiful and very safe. The house is as advertised. The only downside is that the 3 bedrooms other than the Master are very small. We made it work, didn't need to spend much time in there because the rest of the house had many lounge areas. Highly recommend this spot!"

- "Really beautiful location! Great host! Matt was super responsive and met us at airport and waited while we went grocery shopping. He brought coffee when we ran out and provided towels, chairs, coolers, Bluetooth speaker, and snorkel gear. Loved how close a couple of the beaches were! There were also condiments at the house which was convenient. Don’t buy syrup! LoL. A couple of outlets did not work as they are upgrading and the hot water in one shower did not work for a couple days but the other showers worked. The beds and linens were all very comfy. Plenty of space to hang! We highly suggest this location! Loved Ziggys and Dugans Reef and Castaways. All very close!"

DIVING: Are you a scuba diver? "The Wall" - a 3,000-foot drop-off offshore at Cane Bay is a premier dive site known around the world. In fact, you can do almost any kind of diving on St. Croix - night diving, deep diving, pier diving, wreck diving, drift diving, and, of course, open water diving.

BIRDING: Are you a birder? St. Croix has great places to view birds and wildlife.

POINTS OF INTEREST: The east end of the island is arid, with cactus and succulents, while the west end contains a rain forest, making the biodiversity on St. Croix amazing. Don't forget to visit the far east end of the island, Point Udall. It is the easternmost tip of the U.S.

FOOD AND RESTAURANTS: Everything you need--groceries and gasoline--are two minutes away. Blues Backyard BBQ and the Palms at Pelican Cove are both excellent, and just a short drive from our house. Climb our hill to The Perch for a getaway like no other. Grab some wine or Cruzan Rum. The perch is a fantastic place to see the sun setting over the hills to the west. THE WEATHER: The weather on St. Croix ranges from amazingly great, 75 degrees (F) and sunny, to incredibly nice, 88 degrees (F) and sunny. Occasionally, there's a rain cloud that passes over, but in typical Caribbean fashion, the rains are usually quick and welcomed!

With five bedrooms including en suite bathrooms spread over three terraced levels and two buildings, your companions will all enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular starry nights from their rooms as well as their balconies. You can hear the sound of the waves throughout the villa – adding to your relaxation.

The Main House has one bedroom and and can accommodate 2-4 guests and the Guest House has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 guests.

Two separate kitchen areas make it easy for large groups to cook and dine individually or together.

The six foot deep swimming pool and an adjacent waterfall feature are a perfect complement to this tropical home. Surrounded by stone walls the pool area is both beautiful and private… without blocking the scenery. Floating on your back at night will reveal some magnificent views on beautiful starry nights. The ambient light is minimal in the neighborhood making star gazing a wonderful pastime.

Five O’Clock on the Hill is located in the South Grapetree Bay neighborhood, adjacent to Jack’s Bay and Isaac’s Bay Beaches which are protected and maintained by the Nature Conservancy.

Grapetree Bay Beach is a short walk away and you will often find yourself alone on this beautiful private beach. Sea Turtles enjoy nesting in the solitude of this beach and can be seen hatching in the fall.

The property covers 1.6 acres and offers several private areas for outside lounging and dining. There is ample paved parking… enough to park five vehicles without blocking anyone in. Cable/Smart, TV, and WiFi internet are also included. A separate laundry room with outside access is near the pool area. Air Conditioning is available if you don't think our breezes are strong enough to keep your cool.

If you have eight or fewer guests in your group, please contact us before you book your reservation and save by renting the guest house only. (The guest house is the two story building closer to the ocean.)

Point Udall is located 7.5 miles east of the villa and it's a sight not to be missed. A sundial known as the Millennium Monument was built above Point Udall for the New Year's celebration in 2000. Just before reaching the sundial, you'll find Jack and Isaac Bay Preserve - 300 acres of rolling hills skirted by white sand beaches, crystal waters and vibrant coral reefs. It's an unspoiled haven and one of the greatest treasures of the Virgin Islands. You can park and hike down to these amazing beaches. It may just be the closest experience you'll ever have to being on a deserted island - unspoiled beauty.

Christiansted is an 8-10 minute drive from the estate, and is the largest of the two towns located on the island. Sign up for a snorkel, parasailing or dive trip at one of the water sports locations, stroll along the boardwalk, or browse in the many eclectic boutiques and shops. The restaurants are quaint and usually offer open courtyard dining that feels very "old world". Don't worry - we'll provide a list of local favorites!

If you're looking for activity, the island has you covered. With the second largest barrier reef in the Caribbean, this place is a scuba divers dream! The dive sites are varied, and easy to access by boat and, in some cases, by shore. Nowhere else in the Caribbean can you dive a wreck, wall, pier and reef all in one day. You can even take all your course work online (about 5-10 hours total) and then do all of your in water work here in the Caribbean Sea! Feel free to ask us for advice on how to do this - our onsite manager often snorkels and scuba dives and is an experienced open water swimmer.

St Croix is 22.7 miles long and only 8 miles at its widest point. It's on the same latitude as Acapulco and Hawaii, and just below the Tropic of Cancer. It's an eternal summer here, with the average temperature in the mid-80s. We have snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, bio-luminescent tours, kayaking, deep sea fishing, spear fishing, parasailing, horseback riding on the beach……

There's also abundant space to relax outside the shade, on cushioned pool chairs and lounges. Sunbathers will relish under the blue sky facing the blue sea, with unparalleled views of the famous Buck Island in the near distance, and the parade of passing pelicans, yachts and kite surfers.

Miramar's east wing is the air-conditioned king master suite, a spacious room with a sitting area and more delightful ocean and Buck Island views. The ensuite bath of this lavish room features separate 'his and hers vanities and enclosed water closets, dressing areas, and custom walk-in closets with many drawers and endless space. 'His and hers' areas are separated by a central glassed-in shower and a jacuzzi bathtub. French doors lead directly to the pool terrace outside.

Stairs descend from the master suite within Miramar's east wing to two king bedrooms with satellite HDTV and a large bedroom with two queen poster beds, all air-conditioned. The first king bed has an inlaid wood headboard, and the second king bed features a scrolled metal bedstead. The three bedrooms share a two-level patio just outside their French doors, overlooking a varied and picturesque arrangement of native flowers and plants, as well as the clear blue sea and striking views of Buck Island.

A few more stairs bring you down to Miramar's air-conditioned gym with satellite 4K Ultra HDTV; cushioned rubber flooring and a NordicTrack treadmill, elliptical strider and recumbent bicycle; free weights and versatile exercise bench. Once again, you'll hardly notice time passing with the striking ocean and Buck Island views before you, and satellite TV.

In the west wing of Miramar’s main level is the second king master bedroom. This suite is air-conditioned with an expansive ocean view and features a sunken living area with satellite TV, and French doors, which open directly to the pool and terrace. The en-suite bath has double vanity sinks, a glassed-in shower stall, a Jacuzzi tub, and a separate water closet.

Adjacent to the second master suite is the library/office, an air-conditioned and handsome room in which to work, if you must, or to relax and read. A generous library of books and a cozy sitting area is available for one's leisure.

Our house has been remodeled top to bottom. We have tried to provide you with all the conveniences that we enjoy whenever we visit other vacation homes. The house has two separate and private master bedroom suites. Each suite has its own bathroom, shower, closet, and ac unit. There is also a separate 1/2 bath off of the great room.

Just look at our reviews and you will see how happy our guests have been. Our home has a great room featuring an open kitchen, expansive dining peninsula, and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and can satisfy any needs from cooking full meals, to providing a place to spread your snacks and drinks. The living room has a 50-inch TV with dish connection, a CD player with Bluetooth capability and a DVD player. Just off the great room there is a half bath and laundry for your convenience. We recently added a split unit AC in the living room and have also added more panels and batteries to our solar system!

Once you step out on to the deck, you may not want to go back inside.

Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets in comfort while overlooking an unobstructed view of the Caribbean Ocean. From your vantage point on the deck you can watch the pelicans and other birds dive for their meals, watch turtles, sea rays, dolphins and even occasionally a small shark. Polarized sunglasses are recommended and help significantly with viewing the ocean. If you need to cool off, take a dip in our plunge pool. No matter if you want sun or shade, there is ample space for lounging on our 1500 sq ft deck.

The VRBO rental home described here that gets the rave reviews is the one story house (see picture). The 2 story structure is occupied by a full-time (lucky!) tenant. These two buildings are completely separate with separate driveways and entrances. Please let us know if you have any questions.

This large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings comes fully equipped with kitchen with full size fridge, electric stove/oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, cookware, dish ware and more. Full bathroom with bath/shower and is stocked with toilet paper, bath towels, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Full access to all beach supplies as available (chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and more)! Enjoy BBQing or sipping wine in our beautiful courtyard!

Guests will have access to the unit, as well as our shared courtyard with grill/dining area and our shared laundry room. Guests may use the washer/dryers (except between the hours of 10am and 3pm) on a first-come, first-serve basis. This privately gated property is a short walk from the boardwalk, bars and restaurants. Christiansted taxi stand is just a 3-minute walk or rent a car to explore other parts of beautiful St Croix! Street parking easily available.

Our host is not available onsite. The laundry room is stocked with many extra amenities. Please let us know if you need anything additional, and we will help you access it.

Directly across from The Fort National Park with a backdrop of stunning blue water, nowhere else in the Caribbean features the architectural, economic, and political influence of Europe like the Christiansted National Historic Site. Wander through 18th century Danish architecture in the heart of downtown Christiansted, as we’re just 0.2 miles from the Christiansted Boardwalk - a 3-minute walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and more. Some of our favorite restaurants are just around the corner, including Too Chez, Savant and Hamilton’s.

The property sits on a corner, leaving plenty of free street parking for our guests that choose to rent a car. For those guest that do not have their own form of transportation, it's just a 3-minute walk down to the taxi stand, at the corner of King St and Church St. OR we always recommend riding with Rolly's Transportation Services OR VI Ubah!

Guests are provided with ample towels and bedding for their stay. To keep cleaning costs low, we encourage guests to wash the items provided if they would like fresh ones throughout their reservation.

Guests will have access to the unit, as well as our shared courtyard with grill/dining area and our shared laundry room. Guests may use the washer/dryers (except between the hours of 10am and 3pm) on a first-come, first-serve basis. This privately gated property is a short walk from the boardwalk, bars and restaurants. Christiansted taxi stand is just a 3-minute walk or rent a car to explore other parts of beautiful St Croix! Street parking easily available.

Our host is not available onsite. The shared laundry room is stocked with many extra amenities. Please let us know if you need anything additional, and we will help you access it.

Directly across from The Fort National Park with a backdrop of stunning blue water, nowhere else in the Caribbean features the architectural, economic, and political influence of Europe like the Christiansted National Historic Site. Wander through 18th century Danish architecture in the heart of downtown Christiansted, as we’re just 0.2 miles from the Christiansted Boardwalk - a 3-minute walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and more. Some of our favorite restaurants are just around the corner, including Too Chez, Savant and Hamilton’s.

The property sits on a corner, leaving plenty of free street parking for our guests that choose to rent a car. For those guest that do not have their own form of transportation, it's just a 3-minute walk down to the taxi stand, at the corner of King St and Church St. OR we always recommend riding with Rolly's Transportation Services OR VI Ubah!

Guests are provided with ample towels and bedding for their stay. To keep cleaning costs low, we encourage guests to wash the items provided if they would like fresh ones throughout their reservation.

Why St. Croix? We have traveled to many of the Caribbean Islands before deciding on our favorite of St. Croix (STX). We were drawn to this U.S. Territory for many reasons. (No passport needed for U. S. Citizens). STX is the largest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands and fortunately the least "touristy". Yet, one can take a short ride on a seaplane in Christiansted Harbor or a new ferry boat service out of Gallows Bay Marina to the busy & popular island of St. Thomas any day of the week. From there, you can travel on a ferry boat from Red Hook Marina to exclusive St. John or even further to the British Virgin Islands. These sister islands are less than 40 miles away and visible to the naked eye from Villa Bliss on clear sky days and nights. All of the natural beauty is obvious at first glance at those turquoise and cobalt blue clear and sparkling waters surrounding this very special spot on the planet. The clear, light blue skies by day and spectacular starry skies at night are quite mesmerizing, too. We have often said that there are "50 Shades Of Blue" visible from Villa Bliss. Villa Bliss offers resort type vacationing, while perfectly nestled on more than two generous and private acres. This gentle hillside location is just 175 feet above Teague Bay Beach on the popular and desirable East End of the island. From here, you will have a full view of the country's first Nationally Protected Marine Park & Reef of "Buck Island". Also, in the turquoise Caribbean waters you can watch sailboats bobbing at the St. Croix Yacht Club just to the East. I am insulted by the disrespect displayed by this guest concerning her "worn out" sneakers she did not retrieve from the guest shoe box in my barefoot home. This small cool, cozy den was turned into a comfortable bedroom. It had no closet, so I included a clothing rack to accommodate your clothing. This bunk room includes a twin- & full-size combination bunk bed with added memory foam topper for a good night rest. The top twin bunk sleeps 1 individual, and the full-size bottom bunk sleeps 2 individuals, and doubles into a seating area. Sit back, watch a complimentary movie on your own TV that you missed on Netflix with your friends and family, or use your laptop in this space by utilizing the folded activity table tucked away in your room. This room has a large window with lots of light that gives you an outdoor feeling, and brings in good natural, healthy Caribbean air with little to NO pollutant risk. If you can't live without cold air in oppose to cool natural air the Mahogany AC room is another option. You’ll appreciate the cement poured ceiling, solid concrete walls for sound privacy,

Nature lovers, enjoy nature's natural Caribbean breeze with ceiling, and floor fans to enhance it. Extra fans are available if needed, but be sure to take advantage of our cool, healthy, clean evening air. If you need to use the blanket at night one can, be provided for our cooler evenings because of the Island favorable humidity & trade winds. Additionally, I provide a basket of things people forget to bring along on their trip. Kick up your feet and relax at the ending of the day in the comfortable recliner.

This bunk bedroom is one of three bedrooms on the first floor of a two-story home. The second story is partially completed and is being slowly worked on when guest is away. It's forbidden to guest for safety purposes. Two bedrooms are available on the first floor. If you’re a traveling family or group and want to stay together another room is available in this same home. Companions could sleep in the Mahogany Queen bedroom with the hybrid bed, and children could sleep in the bunk bedroom that sleeps 3.

THE STORY BEHIND THE HERBAL BUSH TEA FROM GUEST:

My Bush tea is a herbal tea passed on from my ancestors. It is used as an Immune booster, Virus, Flu, and mucus remover etc. It gives your body all the essentials it needs to do the job with no negativity because it's all naturally home grown.


TIM: February 2019-Tim was a guest at my accommodation that rebooked my place and left a review. He also relocated on Island and came back to my place just for the bush tea again. He was especially impressed with my herbal bush tea passed on from my ancestors. Tim was healthy but kept explaining how great he felt after having a couple cups of the tea. Your body will feel revitalized after giving it the needed essentials from the herbal bush.

SEAN: July 2020-Sean was a guest at my accommodation that extended his stay for a week as he relocated on the Island. He loved my herbal bush tea passed on from my ancestors. Sean wanted to know if I sold this tea by the gallon, but I don't. Sean the big money makers don't like natural alternatives. They make more money from selling legal drugs with toxin additives to keep people dependent than providing natural cures to stop the flow of wealth. It's simple they make more money from the treatment than the cure. The math problem is (treatment = $billions and Cure = $Zero).

In this convenient location you can hop on a $1 or $3.00 bus and within 10-15 minutes you'll be at one of the Island’s best white sand beaches. The idea is to use the $1 bus or $3.00 for a few days to save money like some guest did then use your savings to rent a car your last days in order to access places the bus route don't travel. It is recommended that you at least rent a car for the last day or two of your stay. Car rentals are expensive at $80 or more a day plus overhead, but don’t worry with your wise savings choice you’ll have a bundle left over to rent a car your last few days and enjoy this entire small Island.

Please don't expect to be able to walk to the beach in this mid-island location, but you can ride there in 15 minutes on an affordable $1 or $3.00 bus that would take you to Christiansted town Hotel on the Cay beach. For those seeking a convenient, affordable bus route location this is it. If you don't want to use transport to get to the beach Airbnb has a filter that would locate those properties. If you can't afford beachfront that would be a reflection on your financial inability which should not be a penalty to listed property location because you are being fully informed of the location. Take accountability for your location selection when you make a selection. It only takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to travel from the 2 furthest points on this small eighty-add square miles Island, but if you must be footsteps away from the beach rather than accessible to transport in this mid-Island location, I advise you to please use Airbnb filter to point out those properties. Take accountability for your location selection because sufficient information has been given including a general map for you to carefully select accord to your location preferences. It is not the host failure nor penalty if you couldn't afford a beachfront property.

Many of the beaches are isolated places, so check with your host to find out if you would need to calculate a rental car $80-$100 a day) into your budget to get in and out of their location. You'll want to make sure you won’t be stuck in a location in which you have to pay an expensive taxi if you can’t get a rental car. A private taxi ride is $25 or more. As we move closer to the summer months remember to wear insect repellent outdoor especially at night. I provide this in your basket of things people tend to forget. Mosquitoes are common on these Islands in the Caribbean because they’re attracted to tropical climates. Take your repellent outdoor with you if you must, and spray when needed according to the instructions. I can’t control your experience outdoor, but windows and doors are screened to protect you as much as possible indoor. Remember to close the screen door when you come in and out. However, mosquitoes are also capable of entering with you but do your best to not contribute to their existence.

This Mahogany Queen room is one of three bedrooms on the first floor of a two-story home. The second story is partially completed and is being slowly worked on when guests are away. It's forbidden to guest for safety purposes. Two bedrooms are available on the first floor. If you’re a traveling family or group and want to stay together another room is available in this same home. Companions could sleep in the Mahogany Queen bedroom with the hybrid bed, and children could sleep in the bunk bedroom that sleeps 3.


THE STORY BEHIND THE BED SELECTION: While in search of a mattress for my Mahogany room, I came across a few good ones but 1 stood out because of my daughter. Apparently, my daughter had fallen asleep on the hybrid mattress in no time after I entered the store. I asked the attendant not to show me anymore because that was the mattress I wanted as a result, so that is how your mattress out of my budget got into my shopping cart.


THE STORY BEHIND THE HERBAL BUSH TEA FROM GUEST: My Bush tea is a herbal tea passed on from my ancestors. It is used as an Immune booster, Virus, Flu, and mucus remover etc. It gives your body all the essentials from A-Z Vitamins & minerals to do the job daily with no negativity because herbs are all naturally home grown.


TIM: February 2019-Tim was a guest at my accommodation that rebooked my place and left a review. He also relocated on Island and came back to my place just for the bush tea again. He was especially impressed with my herbal bush tea passed on from my ancestors. Tim was healthy but kept explaining how great he felt after having a couple cups of the tea. SEAN: July 2020-Sean was a guest at my accommodation that extended his stay for a week as he relocated on the Island. He loved my herbal bush tea passed on from my ancestors. Sean wanted to know if I sold this tea by the gallon, but I don't. Sean the big money makers don't like natural alternatives. They make more money from selling legal drugs with toxin additives to keep people dependent than providing natural cures to stop the flow of wealth. It's simple they make more money from the treatment than the cure. The math problem is (treatment = $billions and Cure = $Zero).

Please don't expect to be able to walk to the beach in this mid-island location, but you can ride there in 15 minutes on an affordable $2 or $3 bus. For those seeking a convenient, affordable bus route location this is it. It only takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to travel from the 2 furthest points on this small 82.88 square miles Island, but if you must be footsteps away from the beach rather than accessible to transport in this mid-Island location, I advise you to please use Airbnb filter to point out those beach front properties. Be accountable for your location selection. It is not the hosts failure in any way when it was your affordable choice because you couldn't afford a beachfront property. Enough information has been given including a map for you to carefully select according to your location preferences. Many of the beaches are isolated places, so check with your host to find out if you would need to calculate a rental car ($80-$100 a day) into your budget to get in and out of their location. You'll want to make sure you won’t be stuck in a location in which you have to pay an expensive taxi if you can’t get a rental car. A private taxi ride is $25 or more. Make sure to reserve a car quickly because they're in demand and you're limited to 7 companies. Good Luck!

Note: TROPITAL CLIMATES

As we move closer to the summer months remember to wear insect repellent outdoor especially at night. I provide this in your basket of things people tend to forget. Mosquitoes are common on these Islands in the Caribbean because they’re attracted to tropical climates. Take your repellent outdoor with you if you must, and spray when needed according to the instructions. I can’t control your experience outdoor, but windows and doors are screened to protect you as much as possible indoor.

Hello visitors to St Croix! Quietly situated on a peaceful and private hillside overlooking the crystal clear waters of Christiansted, this island studio apartment features a queen-size bed, free unlimited WiFi, and remote-controlled air conditioning. Just minutes away from “downtown” where you'll find delicious dining, fantastic entertainment, and several local shops. Conveniently located near the QE IV Ferry and seaplane, should island hopping be part of your plan.

The space
Beautiful self-contained apartment, which is well equipped and fully furnished. Located about one mile from downtown Christiansted, where you can see places of interest, restaurants, and even a casino.

From the downtown boardwalk, you can take a short ferry ride to the Protestant Cay (pronounced like “key”) Beach, which has a restaurant and water toys for rent. Looking for some additional beach options? The beautiful Buccaneer/Shaw and Cheney beaches are a quick 15-minute drive. Both beaches have restaurants and water sport equipment.

Guest access
Guests have access to the studio apparently, semi-private patio, and the front and side yard. Feel free to sample fruit from the trees when in season and ripe.

Other things to note
Make sure to reserve your rental car in advance. The public transportation on island is not like what is available in the states - taxis are available, but have some challenges as well. Getting to and from the apartment requires you have your own private transportation.

Insects, and lizards, and frogs, OH MY!

Be prepared to meet and interact with these typical island residents.

My exterminator sprays the apartment and yard monthly. That being said, it isn’t uncommon to have a critter show up uninvited. Glue traps in the room are a part of the extermination treatment for the stray water bug or centipede.

You are welcome to use the can of spray under the sink if you feel so inclined.

Come to enjoy a relaxing getaway in a tropical island. Condo in Paradise is themed with colorful and retro. Wake up to the sunrise. Grab some Island Bush tea or a coffee of your choice at several nearby surrounding Gas stations, grocery stores or just simply go to Mc Donald's all in walking distance. This is your perfect travel- sized happy place, offering the peace you are seeking.

The space
This space is fairly small. Just enough room for 2 people. The bedroom has a queen size bed. To get to the restroom you must go through the bathroom. The kitchen and Common area space are combined.

Guest access
All gates you have access to with a remote or keycard. But don't worry if you forget both other options are available.

Bedroom has full size bed. And twin in second bedroom. Full kitchen, living dining area, bath w/shower. Sunporch, access to courtyard. In Town close to boardwalk, restaurants, bars etc.

The space
Full kitchen has full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender and service for 4. Full living dining room with long sun porch. Also full use of the court yard. Bedroom has full size bed with connected bathroom.

Guest access
close to Christiansted town. From any corner you can see the ocean at the boardwalk. Easy access to shops, art galleries, churches, historic sites, land and sea tours, beach across the cay, walking paths and other physical activities. Neighborhood has proven to be quite safe. WARNING GPS will send you 2 blocks in the wrong direction once you reach town.

Other things to note
You are welcome to join us in the courtyard for different events while you are here. You will hear city sounds of roosters, some dogs and our neighbor is a musician. Summer special super discount for long term guest willing to keep unit clean and be responsible for utilities. To communicate pick a date in April

A&S Tropical Cottage is a cute 700 sqft that, next to the host's place, sits on 1 1/2 acres of tropical paradise. The cottage is a 1 bedroom, one bath place.

We are a clothing optional homestead. We ask for positive confirmation that you understand the homestead is clothing optional. There will be nudity on the property.

Host lives on property to assist with any issues or answer any questions

The space
It has a kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and a full size refrigerator.

Guest access
You have access to pretty much the whole property, except the hosts house and sheds. You'll be given a gate FOB so you can come and go as you please.

Other things to note
Clothing Optional:
We like clothing. It can be fun, creative, and protective. HOWEVER, we are an older couple who seldom wear clothes around the homestead. As guests, you are welcome wear or not wear clothing, at your complete discretion. There are only two places where nudity is strictly enforced: the hot tub and the pool.

General:
• The roads throughout the island are poor, especially the one coming to our place – there are lots of potholes. Please make sure you rent a vehicle that can handle the terrain.
• Our expectations are that you will be self-sufficient, unless we have discussed it beforehand. We will be happy to give you some ideas of things to do, but we are not tour guides.
• Please, please Get trip insurance – we have personally experience with flight delays, cancellations, freak weather, personal illness, and other circumstances that trip insurance will help to cover.
• Parking for 1 car is provided

Water:
Our water comes from the sky as rain - please be conscious of your water usage. When it’s gone, it’s gone (until the cisterns are refilled by the next rainstorm)
• Please conserve water by turning the faucets off in between soaping and rinsing in the shower, while brushing your teeth, and any other time you aren’t actually using it.
• In the land of fun and sun we don't flush for number 1 (Unless leaving for a while)
• The hot water switch is over the counter by the microwave. Please switch it off when not in use to conserve electricity.
• We are on a septic system, so PLEASE don't flush anything your body didn’t create! Of particular concern are:
• Wipes - Baby wipes, cosmetic wipes, any wipes at all, even if they are labelled as “flushable”. They are NOT flushable. This is important – they clog pipes, and can cause sewer backups.
• Q-Tips, cotton pads and balls, menstrual products or other cotton products
• condoms
• dental floss
• contact lenses
• paper towels or tissues
• food products, including chewing gum
• Please also do NOT pour anything down the kitchen or bathroom drains that could damage the septic system or the leach field. Of particular concern are things like grease and oil, toxic chemicals (like nail polish remover) and anything that could clump or coagulate.

Critters:
We are on a tropical island, so you will see some or all of the following:
• In the “wild”:
• Geckos, hermit crabs, stray cats & dogs, mongooses (mongeese?), and iguanas
• roosters and hens, which (fair warning) will crow anytime they want, and they generally start “wanting” at 2am. This is island-wide, not just in our location, so you will not escape it.
• big black bugs, centipedes, ants, and if you are lucky, Frangipani caterpillars. We keep a clean place but, if critters give you the creeps you might want to stay in a hotel.
• The hosts are also the servants of three cats, Flo. Cleo and Gillian
