La Parguera View is a 2 minutes walk away from the “Plaza” where there is live music on weekends, close to bars, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, Bio-Bay Tours, Scuba tours, and nightlife. The property has a washer & dryer, a perfect amenity for an extended stay. Please know as you get closer to La Parguera you might encounter smaller/narrow roads, through some towns.

IMPORTANT NOTES

FOR CHECK-IN: The check-in process at this property is a bit complicated in that the beeper for the parking gate can only be left inside the unit. That means that upon arrival, you will need to park outside the community, use the pedestrian entry panel to access the community and then walk to the apartment to get the parking remote and be able to park your car inside. Please keep this in mind before booking.

STREET NOISE: STREET NOISE MAY BE HEARD FROM THIS APARTMENT, ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEKEND (THURSDAY-SATURDAY), PART OF THE CHARM AND LIVELY ENVIRONMENT OF LA PARGUERA.

SECURITY CAMERAS: La Parguera View has a camera at the front door - the device does not record, however, it transmits a live feed during reservations, for security purposes. Please note that there are no cameras inside the unit.


LIVING AREAS

La Parguera View features a spacious living area where the kitchen, dining table & living area all share the same space. There is a comfortable 3-person sofa, and dining table for 6 guests and the living area sits next to the spacious open-style kitchen. The living area features A/C and a full-size bathroom.

The MAIN ATTRACTION is the terrace, where all guests can enjoy stunning views of the Cays. It features patio furniture set for 4 guests and a high dining table that sits 4.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

La Parguera View is a 2 bedroom apartment. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, A/C, closet, and private bathroom. The 2nd bedroom offers two bunk beds with two twin beds each, AC, and a closet.

PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

KITCHEN

La Parguera View has a recently renovated modern kitchen. The kitchen features everything you need for an extended stay; fridge, toaster, stovetop, coffee maker, dishwasher, and microwave. It also has a convenient opening toward the living/dining room. It also has a beautiful kitchen island that 3 guests can enjoy as a dining table and that can double as a workspace.

While this property includes one (1) parking space, renting a car is a must to get to/from La Parguera. Once settled in at La Parguera View, you will find everything that you will need a few steps away. At the town’s main square, you will find a lively atmosphere filled with food kiosks, live music, and beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. Also, there are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.

AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel-size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 rollof paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, and 1 dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS:No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.

We very much enjoyed this apartment. It was exactly as pictured. Communications with Owner (Gloria) was awesome. We had never been to PR and Gloria's suggestions and recommendations for things in our area helped out immensely. Thanks Gloria!! The pool was not operational during our stay. This was not a problem for us. If having a pool is important for your stay, you may want to confirm with the owners as to it's status. When we left it was being worked on, so it very well may be back in service. If you're looking for an awesome meal, we highly suggest Brujula. We ate there our last night and it was by far the best meal of our vacation. We had Tuna Tartar, Lobster Risotto & Salmon Filet, all were excellent."

-NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
-NO PETS:No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
-The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
-All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
-Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
-Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.

Basic Services

Kitchen: This one has a two-burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (coffee and sugar will be supplied), and kitchen utensils.

Bathroom: Bath towels, hand towels and beach towels are provided. You'll also find a first aid kit.

Living room: It has a sofa and a Smart TV (modern TV), plus a ceiling fan.

First Room: It has a full bed and air conditioning. Air must be turned off for safety when not in the apt.

Second Quarter: It has a twin bed and a ceiling fan.

Guest access
As soon as you get to the building, go to the right side of it. There you will find some grjas on the left side (stairs for access to the apt. 2). Look for a padlock where the key will be. The apt. below is identified as one (1) and the apt. above is identified as two (2). Take the key with the apt. number you rented. When you finish your stay, you will need to place the key in the lock and close it. Don't forget to delete the key. The key will be sent over the phone as soon as payment for the stay is confirmed. You have until 12:00 noon to evict the apt.

You will have access to the entire studio unit located on the lower part of the structure, a covered area outside that serves as an outdoor hangout space and eating area as well as the back and side patio areas.

Other things to note
EXPECTATIONS:
The six expectations below will ensure a good experience for everyone and have been set due to past issues with guests. These expectations will help us to proactively avoid problems to maintain peace and harmony. It is the responsibility of the person making the reservation to communicate these expectations to other guests.

1. Turn off air conditioning unit when not in use, unless you are leaving your pet, and use only with windows and door closed.

2. Smoking is allowed only in the patio, and you must dispose of cigarette butts in the trash can and not on the floor of the property.

3. Do not block the shared driveway.

4. Quiet hours are from 10 PM-8AM Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday from 12 AM-8AM (Civil Code). Also, please be mindful and considerate of the noise levels throughout the day as this unit is right below the upper unit’s bedrooms.

5. If you bring pets, clean and dispose of their waste, and do not allow them to sleep on the beds. Most importantly, if you bring dogs and plan to leave them unattended in the unit they must be house-trained not to bark excessively and/or unnecessarily as this will disturb other guests and neighbors.

6. Respect the property and leave everything as you find it. Anything that is removed from the property will be charged from your security deposit.

POTENTIAL FOR NOISE:
Please know that there is some exposure to the sounds of traveling cars since the house is located in front of a main road (road 101). However, the sounds are minimally heard inside the studio when the door and windows are closed and the air conditioner is in use.

Also, there is a bar/market nearby and sounds from people and music could be heard in the afternoon and evening time. The bar/market closes at 10pm nightly. Please consider this prior to booking.

PARKING:
Designated parking (not gated at the moment) is located right next to the property. There is parking for multiple vehicles, jet skis, and boats. You must consult the host if you plan to bring more than two vehicles and/or towing and/or storing any of the aforementioned.

For you we have a cozy and comfortable screened apartment with a private balcony and garage that can accommodate up to 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms with an inverter air conditioner and ceiling fan in each one. One bedroom has 1 full bed and the other bedrooms has 2 full beds equipped with mattress cover and memory foam topper, sheets, and pillows. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with a retro refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee maker, pots and pans, microwave, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, dishwashing soap, and paper towels. One full bathroom with all the essential toiletry (towels, bar soap, shampoo/conditioner), water shower heater, a hair blower, and iron/iron board. A recreational area room with one dining set, a sofa, a ceiling fan, and a 40 inches Smart TV with all your favorite streaming apps. The entire apartment has high speed wifi. For a memorable relaxing time after a long day filled with adventures, the apartment has a private balcony with a hammock, a small tables with chair.

The entire apartment is on the first floor in the front part of a private complex with its private entrance and garage in though the front of the property. located in the back of the building. There is a gated spacious shared parking lot for additional cars and small water vessels. The property has 24-hour camera surveillance for your security. Camping and parties are not allowed. Trained and services dog are welcome with a small fee.

Self checking and assistance is provided by a local host 24/7. I am available to offer help throughout your stay via phone and text message.

There are other breath-taking beaches minutes away such as Playa Sucia, El Combate, Boqueron, Playa Santa, Caña Gorda and many others. You can also take a short 30 minute drive to Puerto Rican key landmarks such as the Cabo Rojo lighthouse, Bosque Seco de Guanica, or Cambalache.

For your convenience, a small supermarket, bakery, and a gas station are at walking distance and nearby pharmacy 5 minutes away by car. Shopping center and malls are 30 to 45 minutes by car in various directions. There are nearby recreational areas such as basketball courts and play grounds. If you don’t have a speaker, there is no worry because the native birds play beautiful relaxing songs that you can enjoy.

FOR CHECK-IN: The check-in process at this property is a bit complicated in that the beeper for the parking gate can only be left inside the unit. That means that upon arrival, you will need to park outside the community, use the pedestrian entry panel to access the community and then walk to the apartment to get the parking remote and be able to park your car inside. Please keep this in mind before booking.

While this property includes one (1) parking space, renting a car is a must to get to/from La Parguera. Once settled in at Villa Amill, you will find everything that you will need a few steps away. At the town’s main square, you will find a lively atmosphere filled with food kiosks, live music, and beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. Also, there are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.


TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.


AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, and 1 dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay. 


HOUSE RULES

-Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
-Check-out time is at 11:00 am
-NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
-NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
-The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service.  If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
-All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
-Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. 
-Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
-Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged. 
-Subletting not allowed
