Every place gives a key for free an on site parking. VERY disorganized. I still have no idea what’s the role of the person that was waiting for me. Office closes at 5!!! We were in line to get the key before 5pm, but there was a large group ahead of us. Yet, they still closed at 5pm and we had to wait until the next day for our key- I consider that very rude, specially we were there in line. There was an extra blanket in the closet which we grab to cover, but it smelled and it was full of hair. The kitchen was nice."

- "Sewage smell. We were told by host she couldn't speak with us as she couldn't take calls from Canadian callers! Water leaked through inside floor boards. Home was located behind a horse stable and smelled (outside) of horse manure, too! No area where sun shone, very large trees keeping entire area in shade all day. The cab ride from the airport to the Tides was about 30mins. The cab driver complained that we used a credit card. (Ride sharing is cheaper.) The Tides are privately owned condominiums and there is a contact that you must reach before you get your room. They use WhatApp for communication. You’re not allowed to bring luggage into the lobby area, so be advised that you’ll have to walk around to the side of the 3901 building. Don’t worry, it’s really not that bad. Registration in their office was quick and easy. You get your key and card for the laundry machines (if needed) and you are shown to your room. The room itself was clean and had a nice ocean view. The kitchen is a bit dated, but serviceable. The bedroom had 2 queen beds, the living room and dining are open spacious. Wifi is also available. The pool is big but was crowded for our stay. You can use your key to enter the pubic beach from the property. The Hollywood Beach boardwalk is a 8 minute ride away. There’s a 7-11 at the corner and a Walmart a 13min walk across the bridge. There’s a cafe/mini-mart in the building but it was closed for construction. I don’t think it’s worth renting a car, but that’s up to you. In the end, we came away happy. Enjoy!"

When we reached out to the host Nicole again when we realized that the WiFi was not working it was said that a ticket was put in with the provider HotWire but no eta on a fix. Also the entire buildings A/C stopped working the last day we were there, again reached out to the host with no response. We experienced a long week with no sleep due to the pipes that hummed and whistled every two minutes 24hrs a day, No outlet covers, faulty outlets that did not work or shut the lights off when you plugged them in, zip tie for a cabinet knob, stained furniture, very uncomfortable beds, no bedding or blankets for pullout, elevators out of service and can only hold 5 people or you will get stuck so we resorted to using the stairs, oven has to be the original, shower missing drain and tarnished and rusted, pool and beach are nice. Owner is nice but was not able to fix any concerns during our stay and didn’t take responsibility for the condition of the apartment, only offered a late check out or an early checkout as compensation for our uncomfortable stay. Finding a new place on the beach for a family of five during Spring Break was not in the cards. "
