Guest access
Guests can enjoy the view from the lounge for some leafy repose. You can relax on the front verandah. Smokers can have a puff there too. Please ask me for a tray for your butt. You can wander where you please, with the exception of the reserved bedrooms. Many of my collections have a particular story from my own intrepid travels. Everything is dear to me, whether it be a childhood memory or a souvenir from abroad. I love to hear the piano being played. Ask me if you would like some particular music added to the Sono. I am a lover of jazz but that may not suit you.

During your stay
I live here and welcome each and everyone warmly. I am an experienced Superhost. I can chat or hideaway. I am completely respectful of the solitude that some travellers enjoy. If you want to exchange stories or play scrabble with me, that’s fine too. I often cook a bowl of soup or share some home baking. My rock cakes are very popular! Home is where my heart is. I enjoy kind words and the mantra of mutual trust which airbnb is built upon. You may meet other like minded folk as I also invite other guests to a second bedroom.

Other things to note
Guests are reminded that my kitchen is closed but there is space to prepare a sandwich or the like. I invite my guests to use the fridge and kettle for endless cups of tea and coffee. There is a wonderful restaurant strip in Elizabeth Street, a five minute walk away with a varied range of cuisine. I would recommend Born in Brunswick for a great cafe breakfast. Ask me for some dinner recommendations. The State Movie Theatre is also just a walk away. It is a beautiful theatre with art-house movies and delightful bookshop and cafe attached. There is a laundromat in Elizabeth Street. It is within walking distance. I am happy to provide you with washing powder. I am a casual worker and I often work at a moment’s notice so you may see little of me during school hours. I am always a phone call or email away! Note: You may meet other travellers as I invite guests to a second bedroom.
