- "We got in late, and they were great to work with us, and shuttle us from the casino out to our villa and back again in the morning for breakfast. The reception at the casino called one of the restaurants in house and asked them if they could stay open and make us some food, since we hadn't been able to eat since that morning. The reception at the villas worked with us on our check out since we had to go pick up our hired car, and we got back a little later than check out time. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. This is a small room on a steep busy street with no parking. You may have to park 300m away. There is a driveway with difficult access and a big step.

We are a young loud happy family of 4 upstairs with 2 dogs, we are not ninjas and noisy. There is another Airbnb next door adjacent to the room. The heat pump is next to the bed and may be loud. Please note we are in the middle of renovating.

The space
Quirky and tidy minimal space, great budget accommodation. Can sleep 2 comfortably, and a port-a-cot with baby. You have your own bathroom.

Separate access. You will get a unique key box code to enter the room with. NBN wifi available, minimal kitchenette facilities, microwave, hotplate, toaster, kettle, sheets, towels, amenities, and a comfortable bed.

Walk 20min into town, less to the supermarket, cafes and bars. There is steep hills though.

Parking is LIMITED...the place is better suited to people without cars but we will do our best to accommodate of needing a place to park. It may be up the road a bit.

Nestled within this cozy haven are 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, complete with a private mini park ideal for yoga or pilates. Our kitchen boasts an impressive industrial gas stovetop and oven, along with multiple refrigerators for your culinary adventures. Relax in the spa bath upstairs, and take advantage of the convenient laundry facilities equipped with a washer and dryer.

Located just a 10-minute walk from Launceston General Hospital and St Vincent Hospital, and a quick 2-minute drive from the CBD, our property offers both tranquility and accessibility. Situated near the main road, it's perfect for those who appreciate a touch of ambient noise for a restful night's sleep.

While we don't provide bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, washing powder, or condiments, you'll find plenty of free street parking just 50-100 meters away.

Please note, there are no shared lounge rooms in the house, and the laundry is located two flights down the stairs, while everything else is conveniently on the same level.

Should you like your privacy, your bedroom is located by the front door and you can come and go as you please. Your room is also facing the street, and fully furnished with a king bed.

Our single guest’s bedroom and its adjacent, immaculate bathroom are found at the rear of our home. It is equipped with a comfortable single bed, desk, hanging cupboard and drawers, double glazing, a ceiling fan, and room heating to ensure you enjoy a comfortable, private and restful stay. To stay you would need to be able to safely negotiate stairs and carry your luggage upstairs/downstairs, with our help.

The house oozes Mid-century charm, personality, and character. The recent home renovation has been carefully designed and appointed by a leading Launceston interior designer. Nothing has been spared in either the renovation or the unique furnishing and collectic artwork throughout.

The space
The moment you arrive you will appreciate the appeal of this proud house. Situated in and elevated setting in the old part of Hadspen. From the top deck you immediately capture the beauty of Tasmania, with the beautiful South Esk River, only a few minutes' walk away at the end of the street. The front deck has a 6-seater table and chairs and a 3 burner BBQ.

The bedroom is a large room at the rear of the property. The room is furnished with a luxurious hotel style, king size bed, a new 40 inch smart tv, a desk and ample storage. It is a very well appointed, ultra comfortable and homely.

Surrounded by lush parklike gardens, with a backyard which is spoilt by established trees, providing beautiful shade to enjoy in the summer while relaxing on the super comfortable daybed in the rear deck area.

Tea, coffee, cereals, bread and condiments supplied for the quests to enjoy.

Unlimited wifi access is also provided.

Guest access
Enter the upstairs area of the house via a lockbox. Guests will have complete access to upstairs area of the house and its facilities with the exclusion of two bedrooms.

I will at times, when at home, occupy the secondary lounge in the downstairs area allowing my guest/s the opportunity and privacy to relax, chill out and make the home their own.

During your stay
I work a short drive away during the week and will be available to keep the communication open by phone or txt during your stay.

Other things to note
You will also be sharing the house with two very good friends, "Pipi" is a mini-Fox Terrier dog, my most loving and devoted friend. Pipi loves people and is great company. Outside of work hours she is usually out on adventures with me.

"Harry" the cat, a very handsome and independent bloke that likes his own space and to do things his way. They are both indoor and outdoor.

Hadspen township has an IGA supermarket/food takeaway, a post office and a "Bottle O" liquor store.

Launceston is a really lovely town with a population of around 90,000 people.
A short 10 minute drive from Hadspen, you can explore the beauty and heritage of Launceston, its restaurants and many great cafes that I will be happy to recommend and guide you to. Other attractions to explore around Launceston is the Cataract George, the Tamar River area and wineries.

There are many historical towns in the surrounding area including Longford, Carrick, Westbury, Deloraine, Sheffield and beyond.
