- "Clean comfy and lovely touches with welcome chocolates and wine. Breakfast included too !! " - "It's super quiet and lots of birds around to identify, lots of places to walk after dinner. Great location to our family in Yarra Junction and Healesville. There were a few issues that do need a mention and do need to be rectified (e.g. light hanging from ceiling, kitchen extractor looks like it's about to fall off the wall, second room had no door handle). The fans above the beds need a really good dust, and the TV needs a serious upgrade to a Smart TV. The dishwasher isn't working properly and items are coming out dirty. We stayed three nights so some extra bin liners and dishwasher tabs would have been appreciated. Other than this, there was complimentary wine, chocolates and facilities for breakfast - which we thoroughly enjoyed. The spa was amazing, the beds were comfortable and LOTS of available pillows. We had a really great stay, just some minor adjustments needed."

- "Enjoyable weekend" - "I was pleasantly surprised at the welcoming nature of the host, their flexibility and their attention to detail. The room was lovely and well appointed. The bathroom was beautiful and has an old world charm. If you are looking for a romantic escape in the Yarra Valley area look no further than this beautiful little room nestled amongst a wonderful riding academy (it was great to be able to witness new riders learning and certainly added to the ambience of the property). Will's Wonderland Farm Stay is located in Wandin East, which is the gateway to the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. Olinda, Sassafras and Belgrave are 15 minutes' drive away and Melbourne CBD is 1 hours' drive from the property. This stunning Federation/Victorian home on acreage is presented to a very high standard. Situated in the heart of the scenic Yarra Valley, close to wineries, opposite an equestrian event park, easy walk to the Warburton Trail and a few minute drive to local stores and eateries.

The home was originally built in 1910. It has a large modernised kitchen/eating area, whilst retaining many of the original features. There is a library/sitting room with a wood burner, a conservatory with second dining/living area. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Outside there is a beautifully presented enclosed cottage garden with mature trees and shrubs. A terrace with an alfresco area for eating. There is also a flat grassed area to kick a football or play cricket. There is an orchard, various mature fruit trees and a vineyard which is all surrounded by our working strawberry farms.

The large lounge area was so inviting, comfortable and relaxing and made even more special with the fire crackling away. The location is great and within a short drive to our pick of wineries. Kanangra is the Wurundjeri word for beautiful view, and is a new home with a low carbon footprint.

Kanangra Place has three comfortable bedrooms, the master has a queen bed, ensuite, 40 inch TV and a split system for heating and cooling. The other two bedrooms have double beds, ceiling fans and portable heaters. You will be comfortable all year round as there is also a split system for heating and cooling in the main living space.
The lower half of he house is a bright and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Featuring a large screen TV, L shaped lounge and bar area. Stepping from the dining area onto the back deck is where your relaxation will begin, with expansive views overlooking the valley and surrounding mountain ranges. The property is situated at the rear of the 5 acre property. Travel down the long gravel driveway past the original homestead and shed and end up in your own private space.

We are contactable via phone or via the app throughout the duration of your stay. Unless it is a critical amenity issue, any issues will be resolved after checking out.

* The display panel on the outdoor spa is broken and cannot adjust the temperature. It is currently set on 38deg, although everything else, lights, jets etc is all operational.
* The house is quite big - we recommend lighting the fire and closing off all the doors to the lower level and turning the fireplace fan on to heat the house quickly and keep nice and warm.
* Some mobile phone providers may have weak phone reception inside the property
* Block out roller blinds are behind the curtains in all the bedrooms which we recommend using instead of opening and closing the curtains.
* Toilets are on septic - please do not put anything down the toilet as it will block

The property was once part of a grand estate called The Barak, named after its original owner, Elizabeth Barak. Originally the homestead for neighbouring farms, it was later converted into a retirement lodge in the 1970s before becoming today’s peaceful countryside escape. You will have shared driveway access with the owners who live on site. The main residence is located approximately 60 metres from the guest stay.

Shared driveway with owners where a short walk is required up to your guest stay. Guests must be okay with dogs as they may greet you throughout your stay.
Note - dogs cannot access guest stay area, it is fully enclosed.

Strictly two adults only. Infants permitted but must be disclosed on booking. Portacot available if required.

The pool is solar heated only and cannot be heated so can be quite cool in cooler months. The spa can be heated manually.

(If additional guests arrive on the property to visit, an additional charge of $50 per person will be requested at the end of your stay or you may be asked to leave.

* No glass in the pool area - there are plastic cups, wine and champagne acrylic cups available in the guest house.
(If broken glass ends up in the pool, additional charges will be requested to empty pool and spa for it to be thoroughly cleaned and all glass removed before filling it with new water (this is an expensive exercise)

Tennis court lights only to be used when actively playing on tennis court.

This is an operating farming property. The owners live on the property and their right to operate the property and maintain their privacy must be respected at all times. Our priority is to assist you in having a wonderful and welcoming stay.

For your security, safety, and enjoyment of other guests and the owners of this farm, access for the guest stay is subject to the following conditions (rules you accept when booking, entering, and staying at this farm:

a. Number of house guests is limited to booked guest stay are for two guests.

b. Functions or gatherings are not permitted and guests are reminded to respect the peace and vista of the surrounding area by ensuring no excessive noise.

c. Weddings -A booking for any of our private properties is strictly limited at all times to the stated number of guests of 2. We live on the property and we promptly direct additional (unapproved) guests to leave.
A guest may use our accommodation to prepare for a wedding. Use of the property for such purposes incurs a non-negotiable $300 fee in addition to the booking cost. This fee permits a guest to invite a specified number of additional persons to the booked property for a limited period of time (which is enforced), all agreed upon prior to arrival. In particular, this fee permits third-party professionals (including,hair stylists, make-up artists, photographers, videographers, and professional or shared-economy drivers) to access the property and conduct their business(es) for the agreed time period, subject to the restrictions applicable to all guests (e.g no drones). Please advise the number of persons in advance attending the property.
Tanning/balloons/candles/confetti are prohibited.

d. Electric vehicle charging is not available.

e. Drones are prohibited.

f. No smoking inside or out.

g. No commercial or business photography or videography

h. the booking guest fails to adhere to any of these conditions, the owner reserves the right and sole discretion, to direct you to leave the farm stay when requested.

Built in the late 1800's this historic homestead boats 3, bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, antique furnishings and is set amongst established gardens. The kitchen and dining areas are a great place to serve up a meal or breakfast from the provided breakfast provisions, or is just a short stroll to our onsite restaurant open Thursday to Sunday for a meal, or a wine tasting in our cellar door.
