Bedrooms are average sized as was the style in the 60’s. There are 3 queen beds. Plenty of closet space for hanging clothes or storage. Clock radios, lamps, nightlights and charging stations in each bedroom. One 65” television in the living room and a smaller one in the large bedroom. LED lighted ceiling fans throughout. New appliances. Laundry room. Real hardwood floors in bedrooms. Tiled showers, keyless front entry as well as garage door keypad. 1 1/2 baths are on the main level. The other bathroom is in the basement. It is newly installed and private but the basement itself is not finished. Huge driveway for plenty of off street parking. Garage was built for 1960’s sized cars, so it is a bit short for large vehicles. Front yard is a great place to throw football or play any sport you wish. Overall I think you’ll be hard pressed to find another house this old in such great condition.

You will have access to most of the house and 1 stall of the 3 car garage. Basement is unfinished and I store a lot of cleaning and work supplies in a locked storage room. I put things up and out of the way, but kids are smart be aware of them if playing in the basement. There is a door going to the basement that can be closed and locked if you need.

I live just a few blocks away. As long as I’m around I can be there quickly if there’s a problem. Also have smart locks that I can open doors if you forget the code.

Nice middle class neighborhood. A mixture of all ages but mostly people in their 30’s and 40’s working hard and raising good kids.

This 1920's bungalow is full of natural light, hand-crafted woodwork, original art, and comfy nooks to relax, commune with friends or family, or focus on work as necessary. In the warm months it is surrounded by garden greenery, flower beds and a large partially-enclosed front porch, with porch swing, overflowing with potted plants. The plants migrate inside during winter for year-round verdant companionship. In winter there is a fireplace to warm your toes and an updated kitchen to warm your belly. You'll be a short walk to Iowa City's most charming coffee shop and bakery. Less than 1.5 miles to the downtown pedestrian mall, there is plenty of wonderful dining, live music, an amazing independent film theater, and art museum. The house is also very convenient to University of Iowa campus, hospitals and sporting events. There is also a bus stop only one block away that will get you almost anywhere you want to go. Iowa City boasts miles of bike paths, numerous close hiking trails, lakes and rivers. If you want to stretch your legs closer to home, the surrounding neighborhoods are lovely to walk or run.

This is a one-bedroom property with a second bed set up in the basement den upon request. You will have the house to yourself when here, but this is my own residence and you will see the evidence of a lived-in, well-loved home. I take care to remove my personal items from commons spaces, and my bedroom and office will be locked. Please make yourself completely at home. You are welcome to read the books, use the dishes and do your laundry. There are textiles and artifacts from my travels, and art I've collected, mostly from friends...and lots of plants.

On the main floor there is a bedroom with a full size bed (new Nectar brand mattress), bathroom, living room, walk-through dining room and updated kitchen. In the basement is a laundry area and enclosed den with windows, a loveseat and TV area, and space heater. I usually use this space for yoga, movies and crafting. It also accommodates a queen size inflatable bed, which I can set up for you upon request. The bed is remarkably comfortable - possibly more so than my own bed. It is, however, a bit cool in the winter months. I pile it with lots of blankets and padding, and the space heater warms the area well.

There is keyless entry with your own code provided before check-in, and off-street free parking. There will be coffee (french press), tea and light breakfast provisions in the fridge. Free wi-fi, of course. There is a not-so-smart TV in the basement suite with HDMI attachment for your laptop. I'll be attentive to any questions that you may have and have someone near by to assist with any on-site needs may arise.

This (4bed/3bath) home is 1/2 miles from Kinnick Stadium and University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Also close proximity to Carver Hawkeye Arena and UI Dental School. We have a huge downstairs family room with a Rouku TV (and Wifi) along with a large living room upstairs and a screened in porch and fenced back yard. This residence is located in University Heights which has a no street parking policy. The home has space for 4 parked cars in the driveway. Access to the garage is limited to garbage and recycling; there is no parking in the garage. Also, as a precautionary measure note that the speed limit is 25 mph on all major streets in UH and is closely monitored.

The owners do not hide this fact. But it can become lost in the description of the unit.Eileen and I (62 and 57, respectively) were fine with the stairs --- from the garage to the first floor, and then from the first floor to the bedrooms (and then from the bedrooms to the rooftop). The house is in a quiet, nice neighborhood, and it's a 10-minute drive to downtown Iowa City (University of Iowa). Many stores and restaurants are nearby. Two rooms are available, and I can host up to 4 people. I do have cats. If you are allergic to cats or don’t like cats, please do not book! My cats are very friendly, they do not attack strangers at all and like being petted by anyone.

Charming Historic private 3rd floor (top floor) studio apartment in downtown Iowa City, it is an easy walk to the University of Iowa campus. The apartment has a queen size bed, private bathroom with a tub/shower, WiFi, mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, (small private kitchenette is across the hallway) and a coin laundry in the basement. The manicured backyard features an herb garden and a picnic table. Our parking lot is next to the building with ample space for your vehicle.

This room is generally a host space, but may be available if The Rustic Room and The Coastal Room are booked or may be added to the Mid Century Modern Charmer for special events like Football games, etc. for an extra charge.
The main floor is set up for our guests and has a large living area with a kitchenette, dining area, private balcony, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms (Jack and Jill setup).
The kitchenette contains a full sized refrigerator with freezer, keurig coffee maker, microwave, hot plate, Ninja Foodie (toaster oven/air fryer), basic cooking utensils and tableware. THERE IS NOT A FULL KITCHEN IN THIS RENTAL AND DISHES ARE TO BE WASHED IN THE BATHROOM SINK.
There is a medium sized dining table with 4 chairs and 2 extra chairs available in the closet.
The living room has a futon and a few chairs. There is a TV with a streaming device that has Max and Pandora ready to go. You can also log into your streaming networks, as there is WIFI provided in the house.
There is a balcony off the living room, which is private to guests. Please keep noise to a minimum when on the balcony at all times.
The Asian Room is the private room for this listing. There is a queen sized bed and ceiling fan. This is a host living space, so there will be personal items in the closet and dresser and mostly used as an extra room for events, etc.
There is a bathroom in the hallway with a sink and toilet. If you open the pocket door, there's a shower/tub combo in a room by itself, that connects to the master bedroom and is a Jack and Jill set up.
There are a couple of closets in the hallway. One is mostly cleaning supplies and the other has lots of board games, extra bedding and other guest related items stored.
This room shares a wall with the Rustic Room and will need to be respectful of noise if it is rented. There are two other private rooms on this floor that are rented to other AirBNB guests.
