This is a Front Sight Member owned, pet and smoke free property (outside smoking is ok) and I live next door; it is our 2nd building, it is 800 square feet and has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the hard working class attendees. It has more of a cabin style layout and feel, offering a full bathroom, propane forever tankless hot water, full sized laundry washer and dryer, dish washer, small kitchen sink, 24” cabin sized propane stove with oven, full sized refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker, microwave oven, toaster, and blender. The kitchen has the basic stuff that you need pots, pans, place settings, etc. Our 2nd VRBO building, offers sleeping for four, one queen bed, and a pair of twin XL beds, each with its own useful dresser to put you suit case on. Each bed lamp, desk lamp, and gun cleaning station lamp has a usb port. We also offer a specific work bench, with a very bright led light for cleaning your firearms if needed. There is parking in front for two rigs, and more room in the rear behind gates if needed, just do not block gates or driveways leading to the rear of the property. We have hotel style night safety latches on the exterior doors, smoke and gas detectors for safety. We believe that our Prairie Fire/front sight customers will understand what we offer. There is a shared horse shoe pit in the front yard as well.

The Neighborhood:
We are located less than 5 minutes from Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch and have access from the front yard to countless OHV trails in the Charleston Peak mountains. We're also in close proximity to Red Rock National Conservation Area, Tecopa Hot Springs, Ibex and Dumont dunes, and don't forget to visit Death Valley National Park when checking items off your bucket list. A little known fact - Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park is the lowest elevation in North America sitting at 282.6 feet below sea level and is surprisingly close to the highest elevation in the contiguous (lower 48) United States which is Mount Whitney in the Sequoia National Park with an elevation of 14,505 feet. They are less than 88 miles (142 kilometers) apart with an elevation change approaching 15,000 feet.

Artesian Cellars Winery is so close to the Casita it's within walking distance. The winery offers tasting flights of up to 5 of their locally and regionally produced wines. I recommend starting with the dryer wines first and graduating to the sweeter wines. They have a fantastic selection of "Flushies" that I strongly recommend (Frozen sweetened wine slushies)! They have live music on Friday nights and offer small plates and charcutery boards with some of the most unique tastes you've ever experienced.

The Pahrump Nugget is the only casino in Nye County with gaming tables and also offers slot play, bingo, bowling, sports betting and is home to one of the best steakhouses in town.

T-Mobile Arena, Home of the Vegas Golden Knights and the new Raiders Stadium are a mere hour from Pahrump. Well worth the drive to avoid the crowds of Vegas. It could take you over an hour to get there from North Las Vegas or Henderson in traffic.
If you plan to visit Las Vegas I strongly recommend taking the scenic byway through Red Rock Canyon. It is absolutely breathtaking and only adds a few minutes to the drive. Simply turn left at Hwy 159 if traveling to Vegas on Hwy 160 from Pahrump.

If you plan to utilize Dumont Dunes for OHV activities don't forget to pick up your pass. The only place in Pahrump they're available is Parker's Kawasaki located at 1201 S. Hwy 160 near the center of town and just minutes up the street.

The Chicken Ranch, made famous by the movie "Best Little Whore House in Texas" starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton, offers free daily tours and has a fascinating history.
Right next door to the Chicken Ranch is Sherri's Brothel with a bar and grill which is separated from the brothel that has some of the best food in town!

Comfortable bed, big TV with Roku so we could sign in to our own streaming channels, little fridge to keep some snacks and half & half for coffee (in addition to the Casita owner already had provided flavored coffee creamers, sugars, no calorie sweeteners & coffee or hot chocolate k-Cups). The shower was fantastic - Nice and hot with great water pressure. So friendly and welcoming. - "This is an adorable little apartment-style studio apartment with a full kitchen, roomy bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The kitchen had pots, frying pans, utensils and cups. The shower had good pressure and in excellent condition. No bath tub. No couch. 2 kitchen chairs and a small table. This is not updated for luxury, but is not worn and tired, either. We were very happy with our stay! It was quiet when we rested. We were there to visit Death Valley."

This is a studio-style unit with three separate sleeping spaces (one queen bed and one full-size sofa sleeper in one room) and an additional queen sofa sleeper in the Kitchenette/office space with doors that can be closed to separate the spaces. Sofa beds are self-service with bedding (sheets, pillows, pillowcases and blankets) in the marked totes for each bed in the second closet.

All share the large bathroom space with double shower and sinks. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and covered parking. It shares a wall with the primary residence and connecting doors are locked from within the suite. The doors are clearly marked "no access".

The kitchenette contains a microwave, air fryer and convection oven combo, full size refrigerator and coffee station along with a filtered water pitcher.

Two patios accompany the space, accessible through two different spaces. The first is the main entrance from the parking space and includes a fully fenced patio with BBQ and fire pit for your use. The second is a small breakfast patio, perfect for shaded morning coffee.

This property is a working vineyard with over 2,400 newly-planted vines. You will hear the vineyard guinea hens, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, goats and dogs and likely see the four cats that share our space.

You are welcome to visit the vineyards. There are spaces in the large vineyard to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We can provide tables and chairs if you should decide to partake of the vineyard peace and will happily set up a space for you to sit and enjoy the vines and roses.

We live in a rural neighborhood with quiet nights. You will hear horses, donkeys and other livestock from neighboring properties. Guinea hens with their morning announcements and our vineyard goats are sure to be entertaining.

If you are bringing a pet (one pet is allowed with notice) please make certain they are leased while outside of the fenced in space.

We want guests to be comfortable and decide their own level of interaction. We do reside on property and are available as needed. The property is a working vineyard and daily chores are a part of life here at Black Star Ranch.

We brought a coffee press and they have an awesome electric kettle to heat the water. the decor was really cute and the bed was very comfortable. they have a a big patio with comfy chairs to sit on and a view of the garden. They have fairy lights all over the property at night. Great ambiance! Highly recommend!"

- "Our stay at the tiny house was an excellent idea for my wife and I. We enjoyed the time spent their and were able to take a break from the hectic daily demands of raising a family of six! I loved how Leon would respond promptly to any questions I had and I was surprised how functional and cool this place was compared to even some hotels we've stayed at before. Now for a few recommendations to make the next time we come or for anyone staying at the tiny house. The beds were a good size and I like how we had options to sleep down in the main bedroom or up in the loft, but the beds were really firm. Maybe put on a memory foam top or something to relax on for a better sleep experience. Some of the lights inside and other features if you're not familiar with a RV can be confusing to figure out. Maybe leave a little instruction manual for all the little things for people who are new to this kind of place. Oustide, the pergola was great, but it would be nice to include some string lights for more night-time enjoyment. Also, the ability to have a fire pit or group fire pit away from the tiny homes would be nice to stay warm and enrich the experience. Lastly, the water pressure wasn't as strong in the kitchen sink as it was in the bathroom.Overall great for the one night we stayed there and I would like for us to come again and stay a few more days to get a better feel for living in a tiny home. The unique stone-built cabin home features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One is a loft suite with a balcony overlooking the pool.

In addition to a full kitchen and laundry this home offers many custom touches and unique decor to make your stay memorable.

The fenced pool is seasonal and is not heated. Swimming season is typically May until October.

There is also a spiral staircase that leads up to the loft bedroom and bathroom. The stairs are steep and are not safely accessible for handicapped, elderly or young children. We do provide a safety gate that is located in the downstairs closet.

The property features 2 homes that can be rented together or separately based on your group size. When the homes are booked separately, the pool is a shared space.

The property is located 45 minutes from Death Valley and just over an hour from the Las Vegas strip. 1 hour to Red Rock Canyon National Park and 10 minutes to the center of town with restaurants and grocery stores.

- "Very nice studio setup (not a 1 bedroom). TV was nice. The lack of laundry is not a big deal as you're about 5 minutes away from a very nice laundry facility. If you're also very close (about 2 minutes) to an Albertsons (grocery) and Walmart. Water pressure was good. Climate control system was a key as I spent most of the day light hours in the unit before going to work in the evenings. While there are some kitchen things, do not expect to be able to cook complex meals. Thus, the grill was a life saver and the full size fridge enabled us to have a buy enough groceries for our stay."

The heater didnt seem to work in the RV and the small heater they provided didnt keep it warm either. So we had no bathroom and heat. The only awesome parts of this was the farm and kangaroo we got to pet and feed and take pics with. Thats why i am not giving just 1 star. We are situated on 1 1/2 acres of serenity and quiet without all the noises of city living. If you're an early riser you can hear the roosters waking up at sunrise in the morning. We are conventiently located to the major shopping stores (2~3 miles away) with easy access to the hiway to Death Valley.

Our kitchen area is not available for use however we do have the lower shelf of our refrigerator available for guests to utilize and it also has juice drinks, water and some items for breakfast . We have a designated work area with optic fiber internet that works very well. The bedrooms are located at each end of our home which allows for plenty of privacy. We have a patio on the backside of our home which is also a designated smoking area.

During your stay
We are always on site when our guests are here and if there is anything you need help with we are always available. We enjoy meeting new folks and want everyone to have a pleasant visit.

Other things to note
We are sorry but we cannot accomadate other pets. We have 2 Beagles that very friendly and well behaved towards humans but get very nervous with other critters around. They will want to greet you but after that they pretty much stay to themselves. They do usually need a trip outside in the early morning hours, they are very quiet and go right back to bed. We are early risers ourselves but we are considerate of our guests that are sleeping and keep noises to the minimum.

The space
This is a studio-style unit with three separate sleeping spaces (one queen bed and one full-size sofa sleeper in one room) and an additional queen sofa sleeper in the Kitchenette with doors that can be closed to separate the spaces. Sofa beds are self-service with bedding (sheets, pillows, pillow cases and blankets) available in clearly-marked totes for each bed or sofa bed in the second closet.

All share the large bathroom space with double shower and sinks. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and covered parking. It shares a wall with the primary residence and connecting doors are locked from within the suite. The doors are clearly marked "no access".

The kitchenette contains a microwave, air fryer and convection oven combo, full size refrigerator and coffee station with filtered water pitcher and ice provided at the start of your stay.

Two patios accompany the space, accessible through two different spaces. The first is the main entrance from the parking space and includes a fully fenced patio with BBQ and fire pit for your use. The second is a small breakfast patio, perfect for shaded morning coffee.

This property is a working vineyard with over 2,400 newly-planted vines. You will hear the vineyard guinea hens, chickens, ducks, geese turkeys, goats and dogs and likely see the four cats that share our space.

I want guests to be comfortable and decide their own level of interaction. We do reside on property and are available as needed. The property is a working vineyard and daily chores are a part of life here at Black Star Ranch.

You are welcome to visit the vineyards. There are spaces in the large vineyard to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We can provide tables and chairs if you should decide to partake of the vineyard peace and will happily set up a space for you to sit and enjoy the vines and roses.

The space
This room is located within a Stick built home. Which means it was built with a foundation of concrete, using traditional methods of wood, and bracing being built from the ground up Where it sits, NOT like a manufactured home which is moved to a location in pieces. Our home has outstanding central heating and air. Unlike a manufactured home which in the summer time is very hot, or in the winter very cold. The beds in this room are very comfortable, along with excellent bedding of duvets, tempurpedic overlays on the mattress, fleece blankets, and cozy sheets. The pillows are made to lull you to sleep. This room is made for comfortable sleep for every season.

Guest access
We have back patio with a keyless entry this entrance which you’ll be able to access by the side of the house toward the back yard gate. There you’ll enter into the dining area which is for all guests to utilize on your stays. To the left of the coffee bar is where both guest rooms and restroom are. You can find you room from there it is labeled with a picture and frame. The living room, kitchen , hall to our side of the house is not for guest access. Thank you for understanding.

During your stay
We most likely will be home when guests arrive. My wife will text all instructions and reminder of rules the day of booking between 1pm -3pm . But we do understand that guest also want to be left alone so we do honor that too. We want everyone to just feel safe, at peace and comfortable.

Other things to note
IIWe do reside here in our home and retire early. Quiet time is 9pm no exceptions.

check out is before 10 am. We do charge a $20.00 late check out fee gives guests until 12 pm to leave. Be advised Airbnb Frowns upon late check outs..
We will not be able to accommodate Early Check Ins. Try not to consider asking.

NOTICE: WeDO NOT ADVERTISE A KITCHEN/ or BAR B QUE.

GUESTS CAN HOWEVER BRING AN INSTA POT for use.

It is the Airbnb members responsibility to clean up after their guests that they bring.
As well as inform them of the house rules and extra charges of taking an excessive amount of restroom amenities that we have as a courtesy for our guests IN CASE something was forgotten..

Special note: This space are for travelers and vacationers who are visiting our national parks , las vegas or remote workers. No Local residents.

The curtained spaces are in place for guests privacy and our privacy pulling them open will result in guests leaving with no refund.
