- "We booked this location last minute due to our unwillingness to stay at our reserved hotel once we saw it. The Inn on the Pier did not disappoint. We were given a sea view room. The room was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. The hosts were accommodating and took care of any needs. Parking was free and abundant. The local area has much to offer. Close to Anne of Green Gables site and tour. Great seafood restaurants nearby. Quaint fishing village and town. Close to Cavendish beach and dunes national park. On our last night we went to the Ross Family Cailihb which was a live show with PEI music step dancing and fun. It was thoroughly entertaining and the two Ross sisters and brother... not to mention mom are an extremely talented and entertaining family. It is a must see. The Inn on the Pier and the location made for a wonderful 4 days. The continental breakfast was very good with fresh cooked scrambled eggs and home baked muffins and amazing cinnamon rolls. "

The space
This upstairs apartment has two main rooms, either of which could be used as a bedroom or a living room. Both have new Ikea couch that converts to a comfortable double bed, as well as a single loft bed with desk. Both main rooms and the hall have hardwood floors, kitchen and bathroom have tile. There are lots of windows, and the apartment is full of natural light and gets lots of sun and cross breezes. The beautiful deck, the kitchen and one of the main rooms have views of the Hillsborough River. Privacy - just one other unit in house, which may or may not have a guest. There is a locked laundry room which is shared with the guest in the upstairs apartment. If you are self-isolating, we will create a schedule for the laundry room to be cleaned and sanitized before and after each guest, to maintain quarantine rules.

Other things to note
We do have two cats, Björn and Mochi, who move out with us when we rent to guests. We do vacuum, mop and clean upholstery when we get ready to host, however, we want those with severe allergies to be aware of this.
