This listing is for one of 4 bedrooms in a upscale house with a double size bed, wood floors and new matching furniture and a walk-out private entrance into a very private nature park. The common areas of the apartment kitchen, bathroom & living room are shared.

The house is brightly lit with nice furniture. There is a south facing patio out front for enjoying the sunshine in summer, which in Victoria is most of the year.

From September to April we rent rooms to Uvic students. If you are interested in a longer term room for school please contact us and we can discuss a longer term rental rate for this room.

The suite would be a perfect fit for a mature Royal Roads University (RRU) student to live, study and be able to conveniently bike (approx. 2km) along the E/N rail and galloping goose trail multi-use trails from the suite directly to RRU. A generic bike and covered bike storage are offered for use if desired with the suite! Also in the fall, it is often possible to see running of the salmon in the property's private creek.


This suite includes heat / air conditioner / electricity / water and internet in the rent. It is fully furnished with a queen bed that has storage underneath, a double sofa bed plus dishwasher, range, microwave, in suite washer/dryer and is well stocked with all linen, kitchen needs, roku tv, google home mini, efficient ductless heat pump heater/air conditioner and a European tiled shower.

The house itself opens onto the Salish Sea. You will be Living comfortably in a character Home build in 1909 but fully renovated with spectacular Mountain and Ocean views. The residents friendly and the managers very helpful

The suite is located about a 4-5 minute walk to NRGH, as well as groceries and other amenities.
I am happy to host medical staff doing locums or training rotational at the hospital.

There is a private entrance, (2 stairs to the porch), self contained, there is coffee, tea, sugar.
THERE IS A GLITCH IN THE LISTING. There is only a queen bed in the bedroom. Airbnb tech is trying to correct the problem.
I have small supplies for the washer, no need to go and buy large amounts that you don't need while travelling (check house rules regarding the laundry).

The grocery store is just a 5 minute walk, maps, explanations in multiple languages are in the guest book.....if you have questions please ask.

The check in time says 4:00PM, but this isn't written in stone. There might be some flexibility depending on what you need. You can always ask and we can see what can be arranged.

There is a door code to access the suite.

There is no cleaning fee, (I always disliked that extra charge when I am travelling and looking at places), with that being said, there is an expectation that you will clean up after yourself and leave the place as you found it.

If you choose not to tidy up before ya leave, this means you have taken care of

-dished washed and put away
-counters both in the kitchen and bathroom wiped down
-appliances left clean
-floors swept or vacuumed
If you are behind time, a $45 fee can be added.
