Newly renovated ,this Charming year round 2 story chalet is located on 10 acres of breathtaking view, close to the end of the point near the oldest lighthouse on the island.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the appliances are new . The main floor consists of a large open concept living room and dining area with floor to ceiling large windows and amazing water views and sunsets ,a deck, a bathroom and a bedroom. chalet has year round heating satellite tv, and wifi through out the house and gazebo .
The second floor is a loft style with a bedroom and a spa like master bath ensuit plus walk in closet .The views can be enjoyed both from the bedroom and the bathroom.
The beds are queen size with pocket coils. All bedding , towels and hand soap are provided by us . Cottage is super clean and well maintained, new 2019 appliances in kitchen .
The oceanfront view on this property is unobstructed . The beautiful shore is easilly accessible by foot using a trail, we have created, a short 5 minute walk or use our golf cart to get you to the beach. The water is warm especially when tide is low, wonderful for swimming , kayking , snorkeling and boating. There are endless miles of beach ahead great for clam digging and shorecombing.
The chalet is a 5 Minutes drive from a grocery store, gas station and restaurants.

- "What a wonderful place! So peaceful and relaxing! The house looks exactly like it does in the photos. It is very clean and attractive with well-tended gardens. The neighbourhood is quiet and secluded, within walking distance to a sandy beach. The walks on the beach, and seeing foxes run across our lawn were highlights! Ellen is friendly and hospitable. She struck the perfect balance of friendliness without being at all intrusive. Lots of seating areas to choose from inside and out. Sunroom stayed cool and was a delightful place for our meals. Great laundry facilities including a line to hang clothes outside. Beds were very comfortable with attractive linens. Fans in every room were most helpful except for on the hottest nights. Perhaps shades on the laundry/bathroom windows, and heavier shades on the windows of the master bedroom would have kept out the hot afternoon sun on the particularly hot days. The kitchen was well -supplied and the host was quick to respond to requests for additional items. Lovely deck and in beautiful surroundings. Host knowledgeable about places to eat and things to see nearby. When she heard about our specific dietary needs, she came up with additional ideas. We highly recommend this home and would stay there again."

- "Wé'llcome back" - "Adorable cottage near Brackley Beach. The property is beautiful and so peaceful, but a short drive to lots of fun spots. We had a great stay and would go back again when we are on PEI. Hilary was easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was so good!!" - "This is the actual perfect property to be centrally located to everything on PEI - as well as the picturesque, quiet PEI experience. It’s exactly a 15 minute drive and a straight shot from the airport and 5 minutes from the national park beach. Within 45 minutes of landing, I had already driven to the property, onward to the national park and bought our entry passes for the week, and was standing on the beach in front of a lighthouse. It’s 20 minutes to Victoria Row in Charleston, 25 minutes from Cavendish and Anne of Green Gables sites, and easy 60-90 minutes drives to everywhere to the east and central coasts. Even the day we drove Up West, Brackley Beach is a good base to start from and return to. The cottage view is exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed. Amenities were exactly as listed. Hilary was an extremely responsive host when we had a couple questions. Check-in and check-out was beyond easy. PEI is effortless and unpretentious, and H&R cottages embody that. If this cottage has what you need, stop looking at other options and just book it already!"

The only (minor) con I can even think of was that we did need to go buy a frying pan because the pans that were there were quite scratched and even had some food residue left on them from prior cooking. Fresh and spacious bungalow is located in a small cottage grove 8 minutes from the town of Souris and 3 minutes from world-famous Basin Head Beach. The cottage sleeps 6 and includes a large screen porch and an outside shower. Plenty of outdoor space.

Enjoy the lazy, hazy days of summer in this fresh and breezy bungalow. The screen porch is perfect for serving up family meals or playing board games or for simply lounging in the cozy seating area. The rustic cooler is conveniently located on the porch to keep your beverages ice cold. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing and serving family meals at the adjacent 6-seat table. The living room has plenty of seating for everyone and offers board games, card games, puzzles, as well as a few good summer reads for adults and children. This two bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 6 and boasts a large outdoor shower in addition to the spacious, full bathroom. The wheelchair entry ramp and the widened doorways make this cottage accessible to those using wheelchairs or walkers. A full sized washer and dryer are available as well as a clothesline. Wifi and satellite tv are provided.

A large permanent firepit provides the perfect setting to roast marshmallows – with roasting sticks provided. A volleyball/badminton net is available on the large cottage grounds as well as other yard games such as bocce, soccer, and Frisbee golf. There’s plenty of space to spread out and play whatever outdoor games you enjoy!

The beautiful white sand beach is accessed by a short walk along the cottage lane and down a sturdy set of stairs. A generous number of beach towels and blankets are provided for your use along with some beach chairs and umbrellas.
