Our newly updated chalet is a lovely 2 bed 2 bath, at the base of Blue Mountain. Our Place is one of the few units that has a private first floor bedroom. A great jumping off point for all the activities you can enjoy at Blue Mountain, Georgian Bay and Collingwood. Ski In/Ski Out with the north ski lift approx. 150 meters from our unit. Blue Mountain Village, as well as the Scandinavia Spa , Northwinds Beach, cafe's and restaurants only 1Km away.

The main floor bedroom is a closed in private bedroom, this is very rare for the units at North Creek resort. The main area living room has a flat screen television with free Rogers cable and Netflix.
The second bedroom is a loft with ensuite. This room also includes a flat screen television with free Netflix. The WIFI and parking are also included in the rental. The chalet has two decks with beautiful views of the mountain. The chalet is located right beside the Toronto Ski club and is the closest chalet to the north chair ski lift.

Built in 1870 by the first homesteaders on this Ottawa Valley farm, the earliest incarnation would have been as a small barn but it was turned into a charming guest house reflecting the German heritage of the current owners. We are located in a beautiful resort about 1:30 to 2 hrs from Toronto and GTA .the lake Penninsula is so amazing in summer as well in winter.
The chalet has a beautiful view of the lake and the beach where you and your family will enjoy the lake environment .

We are a friendly, empty-nest professional couple who travel worldwide and love hosting and making new friends. We work and live in a separate home on the property and are usually around if you need anything!

In summer, enjoy the A/C and a semi-covered porch outside with a barbecue, overlooking a heated (mid-June to Labour Day weekend) salt water pool, and an easy 2-minute stroll to a sandy beach with swimming area, park, and playground.

We over-built the Chalet to retire in eventually, with plenty of upgrades including in-floor heating, copper sinks, comfortable beds and Egyptian linens, beautiful artwork, a see-through gas fireplace visible from both great room and partly-covered outer outside porch, and lots of warm dimmable lighting both indoors and outdoors.

The gourmet kitchen features an island built for up to six people to enjoy a meal, work on your computer, or relax with people in the attached great room. All the comforts of home are here waiting for you including a fully-equipped kitchen with coffee and tea, fridge and freezer with icemaker, safe induction stove, coffee maker, kettle, blender, dishwasher, cookware and all utensils. Bath towels, hand towels, and soaps and shampoos are always here.

Floors are kept warm and cozy with in-floor heating in winter. The warm gas fireplace, and an additional heat pump system, with wall mounted heating/cooling cassettes in each of the bedrooms and great room, provide additional heat when you want it in winter, and rapid A/C cooling on hot summer days and evenings.

Bottom-up window shades provide privacy while letting lots of light in and maintaining a view of the forested neighbourhood, and the bedrooms feature black-out curtains for sleeping. Ceiling fans are located in the great room and both bedrooms.

High speed Wi-fi, TV with plenty of channels, and a Bluetooth speaker are here for your enjoyment. Laundry room with ironing board is included downstairs, as well as free parking onsite for two cars.

The Jack & Jill bathroom is directly accessible from both bedrooms, and features a 16" rain-can shower head directly overhead plus the usual shower bar on the wall with removable head. A small separate powder room is accessible directly from the great room.

There are two super comfortable queen-sized bed with nice sheets, pillows and duvet, one in each bedroom. If you need to accommodate one additional person, we can provide a single mattress to place in one of the bedrooms.

Just outside the great room is a large partly-covered upper porch with indoor/outdoor carpet overlooking the pool and back yard, so you can stay outside even if it rains, snows, or if you prefer to get out of the sun, as well as patio table and chairs and a gas barbecue.

The fenced-in back yard is private and for your use, and has a 35 foot in-ground pool heated to around 80 degrees F. / 27 degrees C. from mid-June until early September, with steps into the shallow end, and an 8' deep end. Our family shares the back yard and pool with you, although we don't use it often. We have our own separate deck on our house about 80 feet / 25 metres away, within eyeshot but not earshot of yours to maintain your privacy.

Important note: children of all ages are welcome, but pool safety is the sole responsibility of our guests.

Off the property, activities start at the nearby beach and park where you can swim, play, and relax in summer, or walk, snowshoe, or cross country ski on the lake when it's frozen in winter. Downtown Barrie is 5 km / 3 miles away. We have two bicycles which guests are welcome to use, and a biking / walking path leading to Barrie around the shore of Lake Simcoe is nearby. A marina and a public dock are each a five minute walk away.

Restaurants, grocery stores, walking trails, festivals, resorts, boating, and many local features and activities are just a few minutes drive away. Snow Valley ski area is a 20-minute drive away, Horseshoe Resort and Mount St. Louis 30 minutes, and Blue Mountain 1 hour. Hardwood Hills cross country skiing and mountain biking is 25 minutes away. The world's largest fresh water beach - Wasaga Beach - is 40 minutes away, and Toronto with its airport and big-city features are about an hour's drive away.

Smoking is allowed on the property, but not in or near the Chalet out of respect for future guests. There is an outdoor smoking area available outside a few steps away.

Please note that while we want all of our guests to enjoy their time at the Chalet, no loud parties are allowed out of respect for our neighbours, and quiet time is 10:00 pm. Only registered guests on the property please.

The Chalet is the entire second floor of this custom new building, including the porch overlooking the pool, and is exclusively yours to use. It's about 1,100 square feet (100 square meters) and includes use of the pool, parking for two cars, and the use of the laundry room downstairs. Also on the ground floor, separate from your space, is a garage and office that we do use from time to time, as our principal house is about 80 feet / 25 meters away and on the same property. Don't be surprised if you see us around once in a while, but we always respect your privacy and only contact you via WhatsApp (we won't come and knock on your door!). We work from home and are friendly, and usually here if you need anything - just ask.

The Chalet is a family, couple, and traveler-oriented space, and we love to welcome new guests to share and enjoy it - and maybe even become friends, as we have done with many of our guests so far! We only ask that you leave it as spotless as you found it.

Guest access is via keypad, and we will send you instructions a day or two prior to your arrival.

Unwind in nature in this newly built (2022), 4 season, off grid cottage privately located on a 36-acre estate on Bark Lake. Unlimited internet. The cabin was built with the nature enthusiast in mind. Perched upon a cliff with western exposure sunsets, abundance of nature and an outdoor living area. The property also has access to waterfront with a grand dock to swim and relax on. Bring your water toys / boat as you will have access to the private boat launch. In the fall/ winter bring your ATV and snowmobile and explore the beautiful trails that surround us. Snowmobile trail access is a short drive away from our location connecting you to over 175 km of groomed trails and onward to the provincial network. The Opeongo Snowbirds and trails B102, E019 pass near Barrys Bay.1 pet dog allowed. Our house is 700 sq. feet with cathedral ceilings designed in a hotel style (open) layout and is completely off grid! Do not worry you will always have power as we have a back-up generator. There is one queen bed and a twin rollaway bed if separate beds are preferred. The rollaway bed can be set up in the living room space and is stored in the utility room. - "We have been with all my family. 3 couples including 6 kids and one grand mother. The size was perfect for us. Another good point was that the house has three bathroom and two kitchen. So it makes all very easy for each families. The beds were confortable. Upstairs it was a bit hot because it looks like the A/C units were all at the ground floor. There was TV every where also. For me it is not really good for children. Outside it is really nice in summer. It is better to not go early in the morning and in the evening to avoid the mosquitos. There is a bike path not far that leads directly to very nice beach (5 min by car otherwise - parking fees are expensive in Collingwood 10$/h). Also the city of Collingwood is very close and has all the shops you need. Coming from Quebec it is not the cheapest house I rented but overall we were all happy of our stay. Thanks to the owner Andrea that was always available to answer my questions !"

This is a quiet cottage community and association respectful of one another. Everyone has fun, but doesn't get carried away. Everyone knows each other, so say hello. No racing on the cottage road as there are lots of people, children and pets also enjoying the day.

Other Things to Note:
Always be guided by the regulation in the municipality of fire regulations. Keep the fire small with water close by and a way to control it. Always be mindful and respectful of your neighbours. Sound carries and after a long day a good sleep will get you ready for your next adventure.

Longview is located on the 88 acre property of Le Temps Perdu, belonging to Hermann and Tracey, situated in the varied landscape of the Canadian Shield. The 500 square foot custom designed chalet was specifically created as a vacation destination.

A compact and complete kitchen, with marble countertops and a full sized range with full sized oven and fridge make preparing your meals a delight. Copper and cast iron pans, large and small pots, out door electric BBQ and tools, utensils ( large and small), food processor, hand blender, 4 slice bagel toaster, kettle, cheese grater, large copper strainer, glass pie plate, baking sheet, tea towel, pot scrubber and dish cloth are all on hand. Please refer to the list of amenities in the photo section of this site to discover all that is available.

The main living space is spacious and comfortable with 2 wingback chairs. There is plenty of space for yoga inside or on the deck. Or just lounge in the Scandinavian boxbed, much more generous than any sofa, (no ladder required) with views over the treetops or cozy view to the fireplace.

The Wi-Fi is excellent. There is a dedicated work space for remote working. Please refer to our long stay term discounts.

The loft is furnished with 2 MCM designer low slung rocking chairs: Perfect for gaming or watching movies on the 37" screen. Also, in the loft, a collection of retro DVD's and player. The eclectically stocked library offers an cozy alternative, and the retro CD/radio player has excellent sound...bring your CDs if you have them:) Please bring your laptop if you intend to access your streaming platforms. We have provided the HDMI cable.

The full bath is located within the chalet. With vaulted ceilings, a roll top cast iron tub with Victorian fixtures and a beautiful view from the tub to the forests below. Towels, bubble bath and other extras are included. Please refer to the amenities list.

From the 26' x 10' wrap around cantilevered deck the views are spectacular. Not a man made structure to be seen in any direction. Nature at its purest! Enjoy meals outside. Provided is an electric BBQ or just catch the rays from the deck chairs. It is perfection.

The lawns surrounding the chalet are maintained where you will find a hammock and fire place. Firewood is free and abundant.

Our 3 white horses have free range of the property and commonly graze on the surrounding land. An evening view of Collette, Mika and Jude is unforgettable.

In the winter months snowshoes are provided and during the spring summer and fall organized canoe trips or day hikes are available upon request for a fee. Hermann is a certified canoe instructor and knows many of the local places to explore for spectacular outdoor experiences.
Canoe rental, $45/day, is available through the generosity of a neighbour using their private boat launch on a near by lake. They ask that the parking instructions be carefully followed. We will provide them once the canoe rental is confirmed. Please bring your own beach towels. This access is for canoe rentals only. Please give us a day's notice so that we may arrange things accordingly. Swimming at the launch is not permitted. There is a great sandy beach, with volleyball an and washroom facilities at the Lion's club Beach on Sand Lake in Westport.

Le Temps Perdu has invited a local bee keeper, owner and operator of Miel des Fleurs, to begin an apiary on the property. Watching the bees start their day in the early morning is a treat. Not to mention the honey! Please inquire as to honey availability.

We invite our guests to explore the 88 acre property of Le Temps Perdu. There is a map provided in the guest book leading to the various destinations on the property. The horses are 1.5 kilometers from Longview at the far side of the property...but you may catch a glimpse of them grazing close by in the warmer months. The trails and destination areas are marked and have place names posted to help you find your way around.

The Woodview Cottage was built around 1930 and renovated in the 1960’s and given another round of love and care in 2006. The Woodview Cottage is a fully encased pinewood cottage with high ceilings. The all wooden interior allows for a welcoming and warm atmosphere inside this 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the Woods, 1 min walk to the private beach of Marble Lake.
The Woodview Cottage has two rooms each with a bunk bed the lower one in double size and the top one in twin size.
The modern interior boasts a kitchen equipped with an electric stove, full sized fridge, and coffee-maker.

'The Lakerview Cottage is a cozy beautiful cottage with stairs leading directly to the sandy lakeshore of Marble Lake. The name comes from the wide windows that open to the gorgeous Marble Lake views just beneath it The Lakeview Cottage boasts a magnificent patio overlooking the Lake and the horizon beyond, enjoy sunrise/sunset from the inside or the outside of this renovated and newly decorated Cottage. The Lakeview Cottage has 2 rooms one with a Queen Size bed and one with 2 double beds. It also has a kitchenette with a full size fridge and a hotplate.

At the Lakeview Cottage of Myers Cave Resort we understand our guests need to have their beloved pets, and we allow pets, however, we charge an additional $100 cleaning fee per pet per stay.
The hot tub and swimming pool are available mid May - mid November.

Kesä Mökki is a beautiful, waterfront summer cottage. The main cottage has an updated kitchen and 2 bedrooms - each with a queen bed. Above our detached garage is a loft with the 3rd queen bedroom. We have plentiful outdoor spaces to relax at and enjoy nature. We have a private dock on the Norland river which has refreshing swimming in the summer.

We provide 2 kayaks and a paddle board for your enjoyment.

The Neighborhood:
This is a quiet cottage community and association respectful of one another. Everyone has fun, but doesn't get carried away. Everyone knows each other, so say hello. No racing on the cottage road as there are lots of people, children and pets also enjoying the day.

Other Things to Note:
Always be guided by the regulation in the municipality of fire regulations. Keep the fire small with water close by and a way to control it. Always be mindful and respectful of your neighbours. Sound carries and after a long day a good sleep will get you ready for your next adventure.

This brand-new, fully detached 3,300 Sq foot home is a perfect fit for 8-10 people, offering the right blend of comfort, amenities and space.

The space:

The primary bedroom, located on the main floor is furnished with a luxurious king size bed, a crib, two walk-in closets and a full ensuite with soaker tub.

The second and third bedroom both feature queen size beds, with plenty of closet space and dressers

The 4th bedroom offers unobstructed views of the mountains with two adult size single beds, a day bed that pulls out to a queen and a full ensuite.


The main floor has an open floor plan with 30 ft ceilings in the great room and plenty of natural light to show off the stunning mountain views.

The kitchen has state of the art appliances, pots, pans, cookware, french press, nespresso, K-cup coffee machine and regular drip and a large hand-made oak dining table that can easily seat 12 comfortably.

Our house is also fully equipped to host families with small children/infants (crib, pack n' play, toys, games, high chair, cups, plates and cutlery)

2. In the Town of The Blue Mountains, hot tub usage is restricted by By-law No. 2021-70, which prohibits use between 11 pm and 7 am.

3. Town of The Blue Mountains has a Noise By-law that is in effect 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, under Municipal By-law NO. 2002-09, as amended, and it states.

4. The seasonal shared pool is open between 9 am and 9 pm.

5. The premises are monitored daily by a dedicated security team to ensure compliance with the established noise regulations and operational hours.

Failure to adhere to these regulations can result in a $650 fine.

This glorious escape on the Upper Rideau is quiet, relaxing, and incredibly private located back from the water and surrounded by woods. Venture down to the dock to swim, lounge, or watch boats go by. Dogs are welcome but should be leashed by dusk to avoid meeting skunks or porcupines who frequent the area.

The space
Shoot a game of pool, watch Netflix on our 65" flat screen TV, or unwind in the hot tub while the crickets serenade you. Walk along our natural rock wall, which was painstakingly revealed after a year of hard work by the previous owners. A variety of colourful birdhouses and extensive gardens complete the beauty of the backyard space.
