The Tan Chalet has a tan roof! It's big enough for up to 8 people and has a full kitchen with the necessary amenities, dining and sitting area, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a covered deck in front, fire pit and picnic table. The bedroom downstairs has a double bed and the loft room upstairs a queen and 2 twin beds. You can also bring your furry friend for an additional $15 a night. This chalet is wheelchair accessible and there is parking right behind it. Linens, towels, and soap provided.

Guests enjoy our complimentary meditation and Qi Gong sessions. Rent kayaks, canoes, yoloboard, snowshoes, or simply explore our trails along the Indian Brook and ocean. Hot tubs and infrared sauna are also available for surcharge. - "We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25. The other staff were unable to assist with check-in. As a result, we were unable to make it to our Celtic Colours reservation on time to participate. The cabin itself was dirty (fans, etc)."

You can go whale watching on a zodiac less than 10 minutes away. The Famous Cape Breton Highland National Park is only 15 minute drive from our place. Something new is the Gypsum Mine. Stop in and I will let you know everything there is to visit.

The space
Our home is located just outside Cheticamp in Point Cross on Cap Breton Island. Our property is situated on top of a hill, so we have a fantastic ocean,mountain and valley view from our full wrap-around deck. spectacular sunsets!

Guest access
6 minutes drive to village of Cheticamp, Cheticamp beach, whale cruises, entertainment, restaurants, 18-hole golf course, church and boardwalk. Cap Breton Highlands National Park.

During your stay
I do love to let my guest know what there is to do in Cheticamp. 100 percent of the time I am here after 3:00.And if not there is a note on office door with my phone number.

With no immediate neighbors, our chalets are surrounded by forest and farm land and the perfect place to relax, and unwind while overlooking the Valley below. It is the perfect balance of having all the amenities of home, as well as the opportunity to enjoy some peaceful time away. Regardless, on 14 acres, there is lots of room to stretch your legs!
