The overall location was very central to all the major attractions, some within walking distance. Owners were very sweet, and welcoming. Our only complaint was that they are located next to a seafood restaurant and our cottage was closest to the business. The smell of seafood waste from the dumpster was pretty strong on hot days. This beautiful oceanfront cottage is situated on the most central northern tip of Hebrides Lane, New London, PEI just minutes from Cavendish on an isolated peninsula of land in a summer residential community called The Hebrides. (www.thehebrides.ca)

The cottage features an airy open layout with gorgeous oceanfront views from the over-sized windows in the living room. The remodeled and renovated cottage sleeps up to 7 and features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and an updated kitchen providing a modern coastal atmosphere. The master bedroom features side views of the sand dunes and sunrise and includes a full/double bed, a full size washer & dryer, a large closet, and an en-suite half bathroom. The second bedroom features three twin size beds (1 twin bunkbed set and 1 twin) and a closet. The large living room was designed to capture the oceanfront views of the Northumberland Strait and the amazing sunsets. It features a large pull-out queen sleeper sofa, a 40" Samsung TV with Satellite Dish, DVD and movie library, high speed internet, and plenty of room to relax and take in the views. The kitchen was recently updated with stainless steel fridge and stove and is equipped with small appliances (microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, toaster, etc...), 3 bar stools, and dining for six. The deck spans the full length of the cottage facing toward the ocean and includes bench seating, a gas grill, dining area, beach chairs, and outdoor beach/sand toys. The property includes private ocean/beach access stairs to the red sand beach, which is great for an evening camp fire.

Onsite amenities include a seasonal outdoor heated pool (weather dependent), clubhouse with pool table and ping pong, 9-hole par 3 golf course, outdoor/indoor shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, and red sand bike paths. The Hebrides summer community is located just minutes from Cavendish, which boasts world class golf courses, white sand dunes at Cavendish Beach National Park, amusement parks, restaurants, deep sea fishing, fresh seafood, shopping, groceries, etc...

- "We had an awesone stay! The view is incredible! We can see the bay, the sand dunes, the ocean. We can even hear the waves from the balcony! The hebrides community is very quiet and people are welcoming. During our stay we had a question and Tanya answered to us very rapidly. There are lots of toys and book for the kids and our daughters loved to discover all those new things! The kids’ bedroom was very cozy and ours too. The only little thing is that the springbox under the mattress was cracking a lot which disturbed our little baby during her sleep in ou room. But everything else was perfect!! - "Beautiful cottage that has many beds for a large family. They have really thought of everything in terms of supplies including soaps and laundry supplies, propane, chairs and even beach toys for the kids. Gorgeous view and awesome walkway to the beach. The beach is wonderful. There were only 3 rolls of Toilet paper which was not enough for 9 people, so come prepared with TP. Be sure to try the outdoor shower, it was great. Basin View Fishery is just around the corner and sells fresh lobster and halibut at a wonderful price and it was delish! The cottage had all the right cookware too. Confirm check our instructions as the email VRBO sent out did not match the check out time preferred by the renter."

Guest access
The entire cottage is for your use. There is a locked closet of supplies and things that might be dangerous for children and others. To access the cottage there is a lock box on the rear door-frame. The combination changes from time to time and will be provided to you on check-in day.
If you have aggressive dogs, please do what is necessary to keep peace with your neighbours. If you have small pets, watch out for hawks, falcons, bald eagles, golden eagles, geese, foxes, and coyotes.
