Our 750 square foot cottage has just undergone a complete and thorough upgrade, making everything inside and out modern, fresh and new! Sunset Cottage sleeps 8 people and includes two bedrooms. The master has a queen bed, and large closet for storage. The second bedroom has 2 bunk beds (4 twins), and huge drawers for tons of storage, as well as some bedside shelves and a mini-closet. Each bed has its own reading light and electrical socket for personal use. A portable crib is also provided.

A comfortable family room includes an electric fireplace for cozy evenings, a couch (pull-out sofa), 2 sofa chairs and a flat screen television/BLUERAY player (movie collection provided). From the comfort of the family room you can look out the large double full glass sliding doors at the picturesque view of the mountains and sunset to the west, or you can enjoy these gorgeous views from the beautiful new 400sq foot deck just outside.

Sunset Cottage has a fully renovated new kitchen, including a new dishwasher and microwave, as well as a large table perfect for meal prep, dining, and game nights! The kitchen receives natural light from 3 directions, and is a gorgeous centerpiece of the house. It is also fully stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, pots and pans, crock pot, rice cooker, toaster, electric pancake griddle, and coffee maker.

The beautiful full bath has gentle natural light, and includes a tile shower with ceramic tub combination, and pretty counter/sink. A full size washer and dryer are included, and are enclosed in a closet in the bathroom for your convenience.

This beautiful property offers a 1/2 acre of land with a fire pit, tree swing, hammock, and BBQ.

Other amenities included with your stay are: WiFi access, board games, outdoor games (football, soccer ball, basketball etc...), and roasting sticks for the campfire.

This gorgeous cottage sleeps 6 and is completely self contained. It is located just 30 minutes outside of Waterton National Park. Has stunning mountain and prairie views, and is in the country on 106 acres! There is a private deck with your own hot tub for endless evening fun!

Every bit of the 850 square feet cottage has been professionally and beautifully decorated in a vintage inspired theme. COTTAGE IS LOCATED ON THE SAME PROPERTY AS OWNERS HOME. Cottage has its own driveway, fenced backyard, porch & barbeque, however, 2 windows face the home-owners own residence.

The natural wildlife that you may see outside your window include: deer, antelope, bison, cow, and horses. You may also be lucky enough to see or help feed: ducks, chickens and puppies, or cats on the nearby family farm. Although we do a thorough sanitization and cleaning process between all guests, because we are on a farm in the country it is possible that you may experience dust, flies or the occasional mouse inside the cottage. We hope if any of these become bothersome you will let us know so we can send them back to nature.

There are 2 bedrooms, each with 1 queen bed as well as 1 brand new memory foam queen pullout bed in the living room.

The surrounding deck is a perfect spot to picnic and includes a table, chairs and a barbeque or roast things around the firepit. FIREWOOD IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE at our nearby Meadowlark Market.

IN THE SUMMER WE HAVE OUR OWN FARMERS MARKET!!! Onsite with fresh flowers, vegetables, eggs, candles, treats, popcorn, chocolate, gourmet soda pop, journals, bath salts, gifts, firewood, and other local handmade items. - "The weather wasn't on our side this trip, but we still had a great time. The cabin is very clean and nicely decorated with everything you might need. Lots of places within 20 minutes to go and explore, pembina, wabamun, seba beach. Loved having nightly fires and exploring the forest" - "Just got back from this property. We had a great stay despite the weather not being the best. The host provides lots of nice little things to have for cooking, cleaning and relaxing. There were kayaks and a canoe available but the weather didn’t allow us to use them. The communication with the host was easy and quick. I would return again. One note for others is that the stairs up to the loft bedroom are very steep in case it’s little ones or somebody with mobility issues."

The same view can be seen through the glass wall of patio doors in the open plan living area. These doors open onto a paved patio area which is partially covered to be enjoyed in all weathers. The patio makes an excellent viewpoint as the ground drops away to the south and west toward seasonal and year round creeks with the lush vegetation providing food for the moose and deer as well as countless birds.
To the east an enclosed porch with huge windows provides the perfect location for morning coffee looking over the lawn and towards the 1/4 acre pond.

At the far end of the living room is a spectacular fireplace set in a full height brick surround with the warmth and relaxed ambience of a fire at the flick of a switch.

The bright and spacious master bedroom with King size bed has a full en-suite with shower and bathtub. There is also a kids bedroom with bunk beds and another bedroom with a Queen bed.

Common bathroom is friendly for wheelchair user. Equipped with heated toilet bidet seat and roll-in shower and sink.

Our family home is 200 metres away, meaning we can provide that perfect mix of privacy and service for our valued guests.

There is 36 acres of natural vegetation for all to explore.

It has easy access to city of Cochrane and Calgary as well as the RockyMountain for hiking, kayaking, skiing etc. Yet the cottage is surrounded by nature, peaceful and beautiful.

Moose Bottom Cottage is 1 hour North East of Canmore, 45 min North West of Calgary, 25 min North of Cochrane with restaurants, theatre and grocery etc.

Grocery shopping in advance is also offered with a surcharge of CAD30 - please give us at least 48 hour notice.

The location has nice walking opportunities and we explored the towns of Bently and Rimby. Although we did not bring watercraft the lake has good boating and fishing. The host was easy to get ahold of through the entire rental and reschedule process due to covid and during our stay. Very happy with the experience. My only suggestion is to instal wifi."

The treed space behind cabin (off season )is for walking, snow shoeing only, absolutely no motorized vehicles of any kind permitted. High season the space behind is a camping site with Bolers rented out separately.

There are cameras facing the driveway coming up to the cabin another facing the shed/parking area and a Ring camera at the entrance door.

There is a 2 minute walk to the lake by way of crossing road and train tracks just below cabin. Train passes regularly. There is a .04 Alberta tourism tax levy fee added on to the day rate fee.

- "Really pleased with everything about our stay. There was 4 adults staying with 1 in the loft and one on the couch and there was just enough room for everyone to be comfortable. Place was clean, nice and stylish inside. Property manager was reasonable and responded quickly when we had a small issue. They took a damage deposit that was returned 2 days after the stay with no issues at all. Of special note they have 2 AC units in the house which was super great having stayed previously in Sylvan lake with out one. Overall very happy with the place and would book again."

- "This cottage is beautifully decorated and set up. It is next to the public pier and the market so it’s very convenient to pick up ingredients that you may have forgotten. There are two large trees in front providing shade which is a precious feature on the beach. We brought kayaks and were able to visit the nesting terns and the yellow-headed blackbirds in the reeds. The water in the taps has quite a strong sulphuric smell but a water cooler is provided by the property. We would definitely visit again!"

The cabin is on Seba Beach - 595 - 1st Ave. North. It has 50 feet of waterfront and a big lawn. The cabin was completely redone last year and has one master bedroom on the main floor and then a loft area with four single beds and a little office space upstairs. There is a spacious living room area and brand new bathroom with shower. There is no bathtub, but you really don't need one as there is a lake right there. We have a kayak and paddle board and there are lots of kids kayaks available. There's a pier for reading at the end of the dock. If you want to bring out bikes, there is a locked storage shed. No dogs (exceptions can be made), no trailer or RV parking. Sunday 4pm to Sunday 11am.

The walkout suite opens onto its own patio with furniture and fenced yard with fire-pit.

A few things we ask of our guests:

Cottage-Courtesy: Guests must leave the cottage as clean as they found it.
Cleaning Check List is supplied on fridge to make check-out expectations easy.

- Please treat our home with respect
- No Smoking inside, including vaping (you may smoke/vape outside but you are responsible for disposing of your smoking materials in a safe & courteous manner!)
- No pets in or on property, No exceptions
- Please keep noise to a minimum after 11pm
- Please only eat in the kitchen and dining area, and not in the bedrooms.
- Do not use couch in living room as a bed or sleeping area.
- Do not use any furniture, cushions, pillows, etc that are indoors for outdoor use.
- No open flame candles

NOT PROVIDED:
- Please bring your own comforters/blankets/sleeping bags.
- Please bring your own beach towels.
- Firewood

CHECK IN:
- You will be provided a code for a key-pad door lock to gain entrance into the suite. This is sent thru VRBO messaging on check-in day: after 12:00pm, before 4:00pm check-in

CHECK OUT:
- Follow Cleaning Check-List
- Garbage is to be removed and placed in the black bin at the alley; Recycling placed in the blue lid bin (pick up is Tuesday morning)
- Bagged bottles/cans left behind must not be left with Garbage & Recycling in alley, rather leave in bins, in yard or on Upper rear deck.
- Please ensure all dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher & turned on prior to check-out
- Leave refrigerator’s/freezer’s clean & empty *No food left behind
- Place fitted sheets & pillow cases in the provided hamper in laundry areas
- Place used towels in the provided hamper in laundry areas
- Close and lock all doors & windows
- Turn off all lights (indoor/outdoor) & fans.
- Thermostat should be OFF
- Outdoor hose OFF
- Please send a message thru VRBO messaging upon check out, to let us know you’ve left the premises.

Other things to note:

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have exterior security cameras located at the front & rear. These cameras record video and audio 24/7 and are used for security purposes only. There are no cameras inside the home or any private spaces.

The Burrow is a cozy hill-side cottage. This unique earth-bermed cottage is built right into the hillside - with round doors and windows. Private fenced yard with a cedar hot tub, BBQ, firepit, and seating. Inside the cottage is spacious but cozy - 650 sq ft of living space. There are 5 rooms,: a long entrance hallway, a bedroom, a sitting room (with a fireplace), a kitchen, and a bathroom. There are 2 queen-sized beds and a single roll-in bed. Located in a beautiful valley in central Alberta.
