- "Our family of 4 (2 adults, a teen and child) stayed for 5 days. The location is great, walkable to beach, national park and Richards Seafood made doing things easy. Host was very attentive to any needs and was very helpful and knowledgable about all kinds of attractions in PEI but also nearby regions (New Brunswick/Nova Scotia). The Cottages had a website available with things to borrow and information and bikes to rent. There was laundry on premises. Kitchennette made making some meals easy so we didn't have to eat out."

This 1,000 sq ft cottage is on 2/3 of an acre and is less than a 10 min. walk to the National Park Beach. It has 3 bedrooms - 2 have a queen bed and the 3rd has 2 single beds. It has a large wrap around deck plus a screened sunroom. The kitchen has a ceramic cook top 30"stove and a full size fridge/freezer. The LR has a large TV over the electric fireplace. It has electric heating and also has a heat pump to cool you down in the summer or to keep you warm in the cooler months.
There is a swing set adjacent to the cottage. It also has a washing machine and a dryer in a separate building. This cottage can accommodate up to 6 people.
We are a 25 minute drive to Charlottetown
Stanhope is part of the National Park. The beaches are beautiful, the golf course is a 5 minute drive and there is a fishing wharf another 5 minutes away which also has a small restaurant that has the most amazing fish n chips!

Our 3 bedroom, 1150 sq foot cottage is situated on 1/2 acre of property overlooking the beautiful Covehead Bay. It has central heating with a hot air furnace.
We are 2 Km from the entrance to the National Park . You will also enjoy the walking, biking, & rollerblading trails in Stanhope as it encircles the bay ad goes to the entrance of the Park. Come and enjoy this peaceful beach and golf community.

The space
This cottage is perfect for families and couples, with three bedrooms and a large open living area. The main living room is bright with comfortable seating for large groups. The front deck spans the width of the cottage, with extra seating to enjoy the bay view. Kitchen is clean and well equipped: fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, new dishes and utensils.

The master bedroom has a new queen bed, and a private bathroom access. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The 3rd BR has a double bed. They both overlook the water view. Bathroom has full tub and shower.

Guest access
Guests will enjoy private access to the entire cottage and property. It is a great spot to watch the sun setting in the evenings over the Covehead Bay. The children will enjoy playing on the on the property

We recommend you stop for groceries and any other supplies you might like in Charlottetown before coming to the cottage as there isn't a store nearby. Charlottetown is approximately 20 minutes away from our place.

Stanhope Golf Course is literally down the road from us .... Beautiful course and has a driving range. The club house has a small restaurant with sandwiches and burgers, etc.... And a small bar.

Welcome to Bay Corner Cottage, a little piece of heaven to relax and rejuvenate. It is located in Stanhope on the corner of Bayshore and Bayview Lane (hence the name). It over looks the Covehead Bay which ensures you always have a beautiful view! Along the bay and beaches is a separate walking/biking trail located right out the front door. Only minutes away from the beautiful PEI beaches, the Stanhope golf course, local restaurants and a 20 minute drive to Charlottetown.

The space
Myself, Haley, and partner, Lorenzo, along with help from our family completely renovated this little cottage on the bay to become the place it is today. We wanted this space to be something special for others and to reflect our style as creatives. There are touches of creativity throughout the space from the handmade pottery and knit dishcloths made by me, the art and photography done by Lorenzo and lots of other touches.

The inside space is very bright and open with lots of cozy places to enjoy your stay. The cottage has 3 heat pumps which provide AC and heat. There is one in each bedroom and one in the main living area which keeps the cottage comfortably cool on the hot PEI summer days. The kitchen has all new stainless steal appliances including a propane range, range hood microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a new LG Washtower washer and dryer.

The front porch is the best spot for sipping on coffee while enjoying the beautiful view of the bay. No matter the time of year, the views are always beautiful.

The property is surrounded by mature and newly planted trees (thanks hurricane Fiona) which provides lots of privacy. The front yard is wide open to ensure beautiful views of the bay. The outdoor area has annual and perennial plants as well as some vegetable plants which guests are welcome to pick from as they ripen.

Newly built summer home located in the heart of Stanhope, PEI. Spacious kitchen and entertaining area. Large outdoor screened porch with dining table and seating. 15 minute walk to the beautiful north shore of Prince Edward Island with miles of sandy beaches. Steps to a pathway for biking or walking along the bay. Close to miles of paved biking trails.

The space
The main floor provides an open concept with the kitchen, living, and dining areas setup for entertaining. Off the living and dining area is a fully screened in outdoor space containing a lounging and dining area with BBQ. The main level has a bedroom with large bright windows, a big closet for storage and a bathroom with bathtub/shower.

Two bedrooms and the bunk room are located in the lower level with one of the bathrooms. The lower level bedrooms all have large windows and lots of natural light. Exterior lower level walls and floor are fully insulated to give the space a main floor comfort and feel. The bunk room has a bunk bed with two twin beds and another twin.. perfect for kids.

The home consists of one heat pump (with AC) per floor and electric base heaters in all room.

The space
Walk into a large open concept kitchen and living room, with a cozy gas fireplace to keep you warm and comfortable.
A sliding door opens to a beautiful 3 season room with 180 degrees of sunlight. Comfortable seating and sliding windows throughout makes this is a perfect area to spend your evenings, no matter the weather.
Down the hall is 3 spacious bedrooms with large windows and plenty of closet space. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk in closet and ensuite bathroom. With two more bedrooms across the hallway, featuring a queen bed in one and two twins in the other, there is plenty of space for you and your family. Additional sound proofing between all of the bedrooms will ensure that you have the quiet and relaxing getaway that you're looking for.

Idlewood is perfectly nestled in a quiet, single road access neighbourhood. There are two parking spots on the property.
Beach access is only a short walk away along a forested trail.
With a national park pass, visitors will have access to even more of the Islands best beaches nearby. There are even local beaches that provide lifeguard services, washrooms and other amenities.

The space
This charming 1200 sq. ft cottage is like going to your grandmother's home.
It is an easy 10 minute walk to the PEI National Park Beach. The property is a total of 1 1/3 acres with this cottage on 2/3 acre with lovely landscaping.
