You will be privately renting the main floor with full kitchen use, the three decks, the driveway but, not the garages, basement, or loft. I provide the roof, the rooms, and the place to relax. You need to bring your food, linens, pillows, and personal items. The hiking, rock hounding, and star gazing will also be up to you. The beach is handy for campfires and collecting rocks etc.

Sharon is great to deal with, has her delightful kitchen and dining room (complete with an accurate tide clock) stocked with everything we needed to prepare and present our meals in style and comfort, including cleaning supplies. A stunning array of teapots and tea cups fill the cupboards, and there were vases to display cut flowers that grow wild everywhere! She knows her house and conveys its qualities and quirks so that there are no surprises, except for the pleasant ones. The bathroom is very pretty, and the shower has just the right temperature and water pressure. Though not easy for our 90-year-old mother to navigate the large tub, we brought a small shower stool with us to assure her convenience and comfort. There are two bedrooms and a pull out sofa in the living room. As stated on the website, one of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has a futon mattress that sleeps two. We had plenty of closet space to hang our clothes and had shelving for the rest of our things. Perhaps the most stunning feature in the cottage is its huge bay window overlooking the bay! Stunning 180° sunsets every night! Our family enjoyed our stay very much and recommends this cottage. You will not be disappointed!"

Nature's Nest is a 2 bedroom lakefront, air conditioned cottage sitting on 1.3 acres in the heart of the Annapolis Valley on Tupper Lake. The lake is primarily non-motorized, perfect for kayaking, canoeing & swimming. Located 1 hr 15 mins from Halifax, 20 mins from Wolfville and only 10 minutes to gas, groceries and Tim's.

The beautiful private lakefront is literally a 10 or 15 second walk from the cottage. The firepit area by the water is lit with solar tree lights and features comfortable Adirondack chairs and a double hammock. It is quite magical at night - a perfect spot for appreciating the gorgeous sunsets and enjoying s'mores around the fire.

The water is frequently like glass in the evening and it’s not uncommon to see curious turtles poke their head out of the water to check you out and for ducks to come for a visit. Later at night, the owls and resident pair of loons can be heard. There is also a female pileated woodpecker that has taken up residence in a tree on the lawn, leaving just after dawn and arriving back "home" before dusk.

There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and the second bedroom has a flexible sleeping option with an XL twin over a queen bunkbed and if needed, an added folding twin with a memory foam mattress and sturdy frame.

The second story balcony off the main bedroom is an ideal place to enjoy your morning coffee. The lower deck contains the bbq, outdoor dining area and comfy hammock chair.

Stay connected with wifi, cell phone booster and 2 smart TV's with over 70 cable channels on the main television (TSN, Sportsnet, HGTV). Remember to bring YOUR passwords for streaming Netflix, Prime, Disney+. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, blender for shakes & smoothies and Keurig machine. We are an hour drive from Halifax, located on old highway 14 & New Ross Road - 12 minutes drive from Ski Martock and 20 minutes from the heritage town of Windsor. Walking distance to the three lakes - Mockingee, Murphy and Falls Lake, convenience store, NSLC and gas station. We are close to Ontree adventure park and zipline as well as Bent ridge winery.

The famous Harbourville Fish Market is just a short drive away, offering fresh seafood—including lobster. (Fun fact: In July 2024, we saw a lobster as big as a Jack Russell terrier for just $75!)

Nature lovers will adore the wildlife—don’t be surprised if a mother deer and her fawns stroll past your window. And the night sky? Absolutely breathtaking over the bay. On rare occasions, you might even witness an approaching thunderstorm rolling in from New Brunswick.

It offer s unique experience on how Canada's immigration worked in the early days. You can also take a guided tour of the Governor’s official residence and witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony.

Lunenburg is another must-visit destination, boasting charming eateries and curio shops. While in Halifax, a short drive will take you to Peggy’s Cove, one of the most iconic and picturesque spots in the province. The farmhouse is full of charm and character while being perfectly updated. The farmhouse was built in the early 1900’s, therefore it is over 100 years old. When the new owners purchased the property, the house needed a lot of love. The owners saw potential and decided to move the home to a new foundation and make many great updates. To offer a fusion of old and new, several of peculiarities have been left along with the original floors to maintain charm and as a reminder of the history.

Our two bedroom cottage has two queen beds (with all linens, pillows and blankets provided), one full bath with bathtub/ shower, kitchen features a refrigerator, cooking top with oven, microwave, coffeemaker, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc, living room is equipped with a sofa cum bed, dining table for four, flat screen cable TV, free wi-fi and has a private deck with patio furniture. We have a firepit and barbeque available at no cost if required during your stay. Use of barrel Sauna is charged $75 per use and needs to be booked for use atleast 24 hr in advance.

We are an hour drive from Halifax, located on old highway 14 & New Ross Road - 12 minutes drive from Ski Martock and 20 minutes from the heritage town of Windsor. Walking distance to the three lakes - Mockingee, Murphy and Falls Lake, convenience store, NSLC and gas station. We are close to Ontree adventure park and zipline as well as Bent ridge winery.

This iconic yellow and red building is part of Nova Scotia's history. Charles MacDonald, entrepreneur and artist, built five concrete cottages at Huntington Point to keep his employees maintained during the depression of the 1930s. Only 4 remain, and this cottage is the oldest of the remaining four. Charles MacDonald's art has been showcased across Nova Scotia, and a museum dedicated to his art can be found in Centerville, where he built his concrete home and many animal sculptures in the grounds. The space
Check in and check out times are flexible if there is no booking immediately before you arrive or after you leave. This allows time to have the cottage prepared for the next guests.

This cottage can sleep up to 5 guests. One bedroom has a double bed, and one bedroom has a single-over-double bunk bed. There is a 3-piece bathroom and a kitchen with microwave, stove, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and all dishes/cookware to use during your stay.

More adventurous types have grabbed sleeping bags and slept out on the back patio under the stars. There are no towns or cities nearby so the stargazing is superb - with very little light pollution, you can easily see shooting stars 💫

Huge windows on the ocean side of the cottage give you front-row seats for tracking the progress of the 10-12 metre tides in any weather, as well as watching seabirds, the occasional seal, and of course sunsets over the water.

There’s also an outdoor fire pit so you won’t miss any of those ocean and sky views as night falls.

The front deck on the east side of the cottage is best for morning coffee - if you’re quiet, the hummingbirds might join you!

As this is a rural environment, there are various types of wildlife, birds, and insects in and around the property. Leaving outside lights off at night and blinds closed will reduce the number of insects attracted to the light source. Making sure all food is securely covered and kept in the fridge, cupboards, compost bin or garbage can (with lids closed) will reduce the attraction for animals and insects. Please do not leave food outside as there are bears, foxes, and raccoons in the area.

The space
A peaceful cottage overlooking the Bay of Fundy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The wrap around deck allows you to relax outside and enjoy the salt air and provides a perfect vantage point for sunsets. When you're not at the beach, there is ample room outside for the kids or adults to play. If you happen to have a rainy day there are plenty of games and puzzles to keep you busy. Wifi and smart TV are also available.

Margaretsville Beach is a rocky beach. Be sure to bring sneakers for walking the beach, and rubber boots if you are exploring the shoreline for crabs, starfish, or periwinkles at low tide.

1.) The Annapolis Valley has a very strict waste disposal policy. It involves a 4 bag sorting system. All garbage, compost, and recycling MUST be sorted. If it is not sorted, the garbage will not be collected by waste management. There is lots of information posted in the cottage to help you with the sorting process. If we are required to sort your garbage after check out, you will be charged an additional $75. Please contact us at any time during your stay if you have questions about sorting. Welcome to our oceanfront cottage!

This beautiful property is on the Bay of Fundy. Watch the highest tides in the world rise and fall. If you're looking for rest and rejuvenation, you've found the right place. The sunsets here are magical! We do have great wifi but this is a quiet place to unwind, unplug and spend time with nature and/or good friends. From wine tasting, hiking and beach walks, your time here is an opportunity for relaxation. In the winter we are 30 minutes from skiing.

The space
You will find few Fundy seaside experiences that are better. A unique pathway down to the beach for hikes, patio dining, naps in the hammocks on the bluff, eagle watching… peace & paradise. *Note*: sections of the path are steep down to the water and should be used with caution.

This cozy, two and a half story home sits on 2.5 acres of seaside property on the scenic Minas Basin, an hour from Halifax and the airport. The panoramic sunset view of Cape Blomidon and the sweep from the Annapolis Valley to Five Islands and the Wentworth Hills is stunning.

Amenities include: an upper story with bathroom, bedroom with twin (pull-out king) bed and master bedroom with king bed, main floor bedroom with queen bed and adjoining bathroom, as well as open kitchen, dining and cathedral ceiling living room. The lower story has a rec room with pool table, 55" flat screen TV (no cable), Xbox One and Chromecast (+ Netflix).

The sunset view from all three levels is spectacular. Off the main floor kitchen and dining area is an arboured deck with open outdoor picnic and barbecuing area with similar views.

The house comfortably accommodates 6 adults who have access to all kitchen, cooking and laundry facilities, along with two bathrooms with showers and one with bathtub. The sofa in the basement can be converted to a queen bed to sleep 2 more if needed.

**Please note that there are tenants staying in the studio apartment above the garage on the property. Guests of our Airbnb will still have the main house to themselves and full use of the property (ie. fire pit, yard, parking, etc).**

Once you turn off Highway 215 onto Saubren Lane you will find our cottage at the end of a long driveway. There is plenty of parking on the generous concrete driveway.

The smart TV is installed on a swivel so it can be viewed from the kitchen island or the living room. Warm up and relax by the European designed wood stove.

The SECOND FLOOR has a primary bedroom with a king size bed, floor to ceiling windows, and room darkening curtains. Wake up to the sound of the lapping waves and a view like you're on the water.
The main bathroom has a rainfall shower with body jets and a Japanese inspired toilet/bidet.

The THIRD FLOOR is the loft which can be converted to a bedroom with a king size bed or 2 twin beds. This space has two 9 foot sliding doors that walk out onto the rooftop terrace complete with 4 luxurious lounge chairs. There is also a small office space on the third floor.

Registered guests have full access to the cottage and amenities. Guests also have access to the beach bordering the property and Black Hole Falls is a short hike from the cottage.

Other things to note
Please be cautious around the tides and rocky shore. Use tide charts to determine best times to explore at low tide.

We have a resident bald eagle we have named "Bart", Bart typically flies by daily and perches on a tree along the oceanside facing the side entry door of the cottage.

We also have an abundance of sea life which can be viewed (from time to time) from our cottage. Examples include Ocean Sunfish, which is one of the largest bony fish in the world and has a dorsal fin similar to a shark. Also Seals and Atlantic Striped Bass, which are popular catches for local fisherman.

This home is ideal for couples or families with children over 12. We do not recommend younger children as there are lots of stairs, a wood stove, and no bathtub.
