The space
You will be staying in a tranquil tiny cabin set back on the edges of the woods, with a beautiful view of the valley. Relax and enjoy the sounds of nature, maybe even spot some wildlife in the large field you look out onto. Options to enjoy a private campfire space out front of the cabin, where you can take in the peace and quiet(must comply to local burning restrictions).

The farm property is yours to explore if you like. We are located on 185 acres and can suggest some lovely places to hike and explore if you so choose.

Please note: This is a one room tiny cabin with no washroom in the cabin it self. You will be staying in cabin #2 (see map for details).

The cabin is right off the parking area with the ability to pull right up to it.

Full service washroom facility (toilet/sink/shower) is located a short walk away via outside access doors on our "event venue" barn.

For bookings with two guests or less (unless otherwise requested), will have the queen bed only made up. Please let me know if you will need the additional sofa bed made up as well.

Other things to note
There are four additional cabins on-site, and can be made available for additional guests if you so choose. Please get in touch if this is an option you are interested in.

The optional damage waiver is $27 USD for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 USD per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

Bramble Lane Farm Cottage is located just 3km from Paragon Golf Course, and only a ten minute drive to Oaklawn Zoo. The open space and cozy atmosphere make it a wonderful family retreat. With the large deck, barb-b-q, hot tub and ping pong table, croquet set, board games, movies books and more, there is plenty of entertainment for everyone!

Other things to note
Bramble Lane is centrally located: just over an hour from Halifax, 45 minutes to Annapolis Royal, close to 3 golf courses and the Bay of Fundy is just over the hill.

The space
The space is exactly what comes to mind when you think of a rustic cottage in the maritimes by the ocean. There is everything you need, it is cozy, and the internet can be intermittent. It is the perfect spot for families or couples to enjoy East Coast Hospitality that Nova Scotia is renown for.

A very short walk to the Halls Harbour Lobster Pound where you can pick our your own lobster for them to cook up for you, and browse at the seaside souvenirs while you wait.

As the tide comes in and out, you can watch the boats as they hang in mid air suspended from being tied to the Harbour when the tide is high. It's really something to see.

With three inviting bedrooms—one on the main floor with a queen bed and two upstairs with double beds (one also featuring two single beds)—there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax. This rustic Maritime cottage is full of East Coast charm, offering breathtaking ocean views from the deck, where you can watch the tides rise and fall. Come relax at this beautiful and peaceful lakefront Oasis nestled between the gateway of the beautiful Annapolis Valley and the picturesque beaches of the south shore enjoy this beautiful lakeside retreat. The cottage is located on Zwicker Lake and offers stunning views from inside or any of the three outdoor decks.

The space
Inside the cottage you will find two bedrooms, a fully-renovated bathroom, wood burning stove, and a fully stocked kitchen including a coffee machine and kettle.

On the top deck you will find the bbq and dining and seating areas.

The large middle deck has comfy seating and a propane fire table. This is the perfect place to enjoy the views of the lake during the day or the stargaze at night.

The lower deck has additional seating, a wood fire pit and a walk out dock for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding.
On the lower deck you can also use the outdoor cooler to ice your beverages or grab life jackets from the storage bin.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cottage and outdoor amenities.

The Bunkie and sheds are not permitted to enter.

SMOKING POLICY:
Absolutely NO SMOKING/VAPING in the cottage.
If you do smoke outside, please dispose of all
Butts in the ashtray. Do not throw them on the ground or in the fire pit.

We ask our guests to please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a reasonable level throughout the day, and no excessive noise after 10pm.

This property is on a septic tank, therefore only human waste and toilet paper can be flushed. All other products or materials must be disposed of in the provided garbage.

The water comes from the lake and goes through a filtration system. We provide a culligan water machine for drinking water.

Guests will be provided smart lock access for their stay, making check-in a smooth and easy process. There is one doorbell camera facing outside for your security purposes.

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! I now have a dock at the lake for swimming or tanning and a canoe is available for use as well.
Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.

The space
A very private 5 acre lot located in Chalet Hamlet. Nature is your only neighbour here. With no light pollution, you are free to gaze at the beautiful night sky while in the hot tub or cozy up on the couch and watch a good movie. If you are an early riser, take advantage of the beautiful sunrises which seemingly light the sky on fire from your bed in the loft, as seen in my photos.

The lake is now accessible via a private path from my yard. It is about a 5min walk. I now have a dock at the lake for swimming and a canoe is available for use (at own risk) during summer months. Life jackets are provided. Caution is to be used while traversing the board walk. Sneakers are recommended.

You can watch the lake from the comfort of the king size bed in the loft, on the patio while enjoying a drink, or from the hot tub!
The cottage is very open concept as seen from the photos. The main floor bedroom contains a single over double bunk bed and doubles as a work space as there is a desk and chair available for your convenience. The sectional in the living room pulls out into a double bed for extra sleeping space to which sheets, pillows and a blanket are provided in the bedroom closet.

There is a smart TV in the living room and the main floor bedroom both of which can access Netflix, Crave and many other apps. There is also an arcade system with over 800 retro arcade games!

There is a washer and dryer available for guest use with detergent and bounce sheets supplied. DO NOT wash blankets or overload it.

Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are also provided in the shower in the event you forgot your own!

As is typical of the rustic area, our well-appointed cabin is on a gravel road. Be prepared to drive over gravel for about 5 minutes to our door, where the beauty of nature awaits you! Our road is graded twice a year. That being said, it is still a gravel road and depending on the time of year, it can be a bumpy drive due to logging trucks and weather. Be aware you may have to avoid some pot holes.

Naturally, with storms come power outages. In this event, the nightlights double as flash lights and the lantern on the counter is also a battery bank for charging phones. If the power is going to be out for a long time, you are welcome to cut the vacation short to which you will be reimbursed for any nights missed.

*Full disclosure; The ring door cameras are solely for the security of my cottage when vacant, and to confirm the amount of people registered for the stay for insurance and liability reasons. That being said, feel free to cover the back door camera with provided stickers in the last kitchen drawer if you feel uncomfortable, but please remember to uncover it when you check-out. Please leave the front door camera uncovered for security reasons.*

There is a horizontal railing that is not to be climbed on. Young children should be supervised when in the loft.

There will be an additional $200 cleaning fee for unauthorized pets or smoking within the dwelling.
