- "Everything was excellent!" - "We loved our stay here. Excellent service, very friendly and accommodating staff. The tent was great, beautiful grounds. Good activities and entertainment and staff were helpful in planning hikes. Food was good. " - "This place was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only thing I'd love to be able to do is to reserve specific tents -- for instance, we would have loved tent 1 since it's right near the water. Currently, it doesn't seem like the system allows for that. Other than that, it was a really special place. Thank you! "

- "Absolutely loved our stay!" - "I loved everything about this property! I wish I could have stayed longer. The cabins are absolutely pristine, beautiful, and filled with every comfort you could possibly imagine. The craftsmanship and the decoration of the cabin were lovely. There is even a "commons" area with free guest laundry, games to borrow, vending machines, etc. The "quiet side" of the island is so nice and the setting of these cabins is so pleasant....Bass Harbor Head Light, Ship Harbor Trailhead, Wonderland Trail, and all kinds of spots to sit and watch the gorgeous sunsets were all close by. Continental breakfast was included. The proprietor was a friendly source of information about things to do in the area and even got on his computer to show us details of how to find a hidden gem and drew a map for us on how to get to another recommended hike. If I ever come back to the area, I would definitely stay here again. It was our favorite stay of the whole trip."

- "The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden chair and reach for buttons on the top which you can't actually see unless you are 6'4"+. Terrible setup."

Welcome to Seabrook - secluded ocean front cabin with an open floor plan. Rough cut timbers and pine wood floors provide a very cozy feel. The cabin has a covered screened in porch with a southern view of Racoon Cove. Outside the property has an outstanding vista of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Cabin sits near the shore and provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 15-20 minute drive. Ellsworth is within 10 mins for easy access to groceries, gift shops, restaurants, movies, and even LL. Bean.
Multi Family Options - Rent two and save.: We also own property #182554 next door. Newly built post & beam cottage is a 3 bedroom, one bath with an additional sleeping loft. An open floor plan, rough cut timbers and hardwood floors provide a very cozy cabin feel. Outside the property has a large open deck with a southern view of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. A short walk down to the shore provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Rent both properties and save $100.00 on each rental.
Other Activies: Kayaking, birdwatching, and most important relaxing by the sea.
- "This was such a Maine Camp getaway. Incredibly quiet, creek out back, SCREENED PORCH, comfy beds. The wifi was good. We did use the air conditioning a few times but it was never hot. Being familiar with the area, we only ventured to Bar Harbor 1 day and made sure to be in the queue to leave the island by 4pm. We did not use the little Seaside cabin but looked at it and it was absolutely adorable. Being in the woods as it is, we would recommend bringing some additional lights or battery lanterns to brighten the house's dark corners after dark. The washer and dryer work great and the shower has good pressure. We visited Reny's, Bean outlet and Blueberry Hill in Ellsworth/Bangor, went to Timber Tina's lumberjack show, Marlintini's in Blue Hill for turkey dinner on Tuesdays and Blunts Pond. Other than that, it was just the spot to recharge before returning home. Thank you Nate and Becky"

- "Great location and small, but perfect, for what we needed!" - "Place was super clean and comfy. Highly recommend!" - "Location, location, location! Not only did this cute cabin meet all our needs and wants, it is perfectly nestled against the park. Walk into Acadia or take a short drive to all your ANP and island destinations. Thanks, Rob and Marge. We truly enjoyed our stay." - "When planning a trip to Acadia with my kids, I didn’t really know where to stay. I was fortunate to stumble upon this little cabin in Southwest Harbor. If you’re looking for frills, this isn’t your place, but with a location as perfect as this cabin, you don’t need them. The inside is cozy and met our needs well. The outdoor area is beautiful and has a grill, picnic table and plenty of yard space for the kids to play. The property backs right up to the park, so you can venture out on a nature walk right from the cabin. The location is great! It’s very quiet and peaceful and set back from town, so there’s no neighboring noise. Southwest Harbor is a quaint little town, which had a pace I preferred much more than that of Bar Harbor. All the hikes we went on were 30 minutes or less of a drive. The furthest we went was to Schoodic Point and that was about an 80 minute drive. There is a beautiful lake in Southwest Harbor that offers slightly warmer swimming water than the ocean offers. This was a wonderful place to hang our hats after long days in the park and definitely a place I’d recommend to others."

Celebrating our 18th year offering this special property for your Downeast Maine vacation! Seaside cabin on the Schoodic Peninsula located within 60 feet of the ocean. Completely updated throughout. Hear the waves lap along the granite shore, feel the ocean breeze, see the Sally Islands off in the distance, as well as the bold open ocean. At night you can see the flashing light of Petit Manan Lighthouse, Maine's second tallest light, built before the Civil War on a rock ledge two miles out to to sea.
The ocean view faces east across the water so the sunrises and moon rises are spectacular. See shore birds, marine life, and hear the loons call. Lobster boats work the area so you can watch them work from the front deck or along the shore.
The property is nicely wooded and you will have a private setting. Neighboring homes are shielded from view by a beautiful arbor of spruce, balsam, pine, etc. The shoreline is a combination of granite boulders and ledge rock. The water is deep, keeping a beautiful water view which is not affected by the twice daily Maine tide.
The cabin is a classic example of Maine craftsmanship. The interior is pine tongue and groove on the walls and the ceilings on both levels. The first floor living area has a pine plank floor. The second level structure has exposed wood beams and floor planking. The cabin has Wifi internet.
Level One includes a dining area and living area with a local granite wood-burning fireplace. There is a comfortable sofa and chair/ottoman. Also on this level is a full bath and a generous sized newly updated Kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and all the dishes and utensils you need. Level Two has a front master bedroom with new queen size bed and a balcony that looks out over the ocean and out to the distant flashing lighthouse. The back bedroom has a pine bunk bed with a full size mattress on bottom and a single on top. There is also another single daybed in an adjacent sitting room. A new half bath separates the front and back bedrooms. All these rooms have pine plank ceilings and pine plank walls, new carpeting, and tile.
Walk or bike a couple miles to Corea Harbor, one of Maine's most picturesque working harbors. There you will find the Lobster Co-op where you can buy fresh lobsters directly from the fishermen. Corea Harbor also has a lobster roll cafe and grille located right on an authentic lobster wharf on the harbor, with great harbor views.
Down the road are the pretty communities of Prospect Harbor and Winter Harbor with many services, restaurants, and shopping. Winter Harbor is the gateway to the Beautiful Acadia National Park - Schoodic Peninsula Section, where you can enjoy strolling the spectacular craggy coast, hike Schoodic's hills, or bike beautiful trails. You can also take the mail boat across Frenchman's Bay from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor, or take the easy drive from Schoodic Peninsula to Mount Desert Island.
The quintessential Schoodic Area is one peninsula 'Downeast' from the more crowded Bar Harbor area and Mount Desert Island.

- "We had an amazing week at this lovely cozy cottage! My kids (ages 8 & 5) loved exploring the rocks and tide pools, watching lobster boats during breakfast and we enjoyed campfires and stargazing at night. We drove to Acadia a few of the days during our week long stay- it was a really pretty 40 minutes to Mt Desert Island. Schoodic peninsula was only a 15min drive away with several cute cafes/restaurants in Winter Harbor. My favorite spot in the cottage was the comfy chair by the fireplace in front of the windows overlooking the ocean :) Thank you Bob for a fantastic week!"

Our only suggestions for future guests would be some glass ware for drinks and board games to play on rainy days or evenings. Kayak or canoe across to historic Castine--30 minutes by water or 45 minutes by car--or explore the many inlets and islands of the Bagaduce River. Pastoral, rolling hills and scenic blueberry barrens are plentiful throughout the area. There is a Farmer's Market every Tuesday morning in Buck's Harbor during the summer months.
Acadia National Park, with a road to the top of the highest mountain on the on the eastern coast as well as hundreds of scenic hiking trails, is just over one hour away by car. Don't miss visiting the Wooden Boat School in nearby Brooklin; Haystack school of crafts on Deer Isle; and Kneisel Hall, famed for world-class chamber music, in nearby Blue Hill,
This fully renovated two-story camp on the edge of the water maintains its rustic atmosphere. New in 2015 is a small roof over the entryway (in case of rain). From there, you step into the "mudroom" where there is a coat closet and behind another door, a stacked washer/dryer.
Step through the glass french doors to the living room where you will find HARDWOOD OAK FLOORS, a BUILT-IN HEARTH, and a SOAPSTONE WOOD STOVE with a CATALYTIC COMBUSTOR--BURNS LIKE A FURNACE, BUT IS AS LOVELY AND GRACEFUL AS A WORK OF ART. The living room is furnished with a recliner and a full-size sofa as well as a smaller cushioned chair and a coffee table. A large sliding glass door in the living room opens to a fully-screened porch. Cushioned seats and coffee table grace the porch as well as a folding chaise/recliner.
The kitchen is fully supplied with dishes, pots and pans, mixing bowls, and includes a lobster pot, drip coffee pot, coffee bean grinder, tea kettle, toaster, blender, electric mixer, microwave oven. An efficiency-sized gas range allows for more countertop space.
Bathroom has large mirrors over the sink and lots generous-sized cabinets. There is a shower with adjustable shower head, and the linen cabinets are fully stocked with towels and washcloths.
As you walk up the stairs (with carpeted runners), you will come to a landing with large windows to the southeast and southwest. The upstairs has a cathedral ceiling with a ceiling fan and track lighting that can be dimmed for a tranquil ambiance. There is a large, high triangle window in the main upstairs facing southeast to let in plenty of early morning light.
Both upstairs bedrooms are cozy with Skylight windows in the lower part of gambrel roof, giving excellent water views.
The boat room has life jackets and paddles for the kayaks as well as a long, knotted rope to use to ease the kayaks up and down the slide (next to the stairway to the water). There is a gas grill with two gas tanks, and a backup charcoal grill. A portable wooden ramp is there to help move the grill in and out of the boat house. There's a wooden stairway that takes you down to the water and next to the stairway, a slide to make it easier to get the kayaks down and back up again.

- "The house was perfect. It was a nice quiet spot and considering how secluded it was not that far from everything. The screened in porch was perfect. It was our morning coffee and evening relaxing spot. We were not brave enough to venture into the water. The rocks were a bit slippery but the view was beautiful. A definite go to when we go to Maine again. Thanks Jane." - "Great location, no t.v., just peace and quiet. Lots of birds. The tide is extremely drastic, at least 100 feet from tide to tide. Acadia National Park is a good hour but the drive is scenic. In the summer be prepared for the crowds. Drive back is slow. Highly recommend Young’s Pound Lobster. Thank you Jane for opening up your lovely cottage. Maine is beautiful!"

The "Point Camp" is a small 16x16 cabin located on the Western shore of Great Pond in Franklin Maine. The camp is perfect for 2 people, but can easily sleep 3-4 with relative comfort. Loft has two twin mattresses, but it can be very warm in the heat of summer. More than 4 would require a tent or camper. Direct access to the Downeast Sunrise Trail. Cabin is ATV friendly. Excellent fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Miles of old logging roads for hiking and walking right outside the door.
This Camp has limited hot/cold water for shower and vanity in shower room. NO electricity, no inside toilet. There are gas lights, a gas wall heater, gas stove and gas refrigerator. A hand pump in the kitchen for non-potable water and a natural spring within 300 yards with excellent drinking water. There is a Porta-Potty behind the camp that is serviced weekly. A small changing area with a shower stall & vanity with drain for washing up. There is limited Hot and Cold water for shower and vanity.
This is located approximately 12 miles from Ellsworth and 30 miles from Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor. At mile 7.5 on the Downeast Sunrise Trail.
We include the use of one canoe and one kayak with paddles and lifevests with the rental. Additional canoes/kayaks can be rented. Use of canoes/kayaks is at guests own risk.
- "This was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation spot. Solitude so we could enjoy our family time, fishing, hiking, fires and a place where our pups could participate in our vacation. If they could talk, I imagine they want to stay forever!! The cabin was perfect and the spring water was delicious and clear! Thank you!!" - "Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. If you enjoy the feel of remoteness but still having a town about 20 minutes away, then this is for you! Great place for our dog to run around, canoe on the lake and see the stars at night, and just have fun together. I loved the lack of electricity, helps you just put away electronics and enjoy the gorgeous nature - though they did have a great little solar charger for the phone. I would absolutely return here in the future. Pay attention to the signs while going on the long driveway, and I would recommend arriving in daytime to find it and unpack."

Bathroom is equipped with outdoor shower. Wood stove to keep you warm. (Note: We do not provide wood but its available from roadside stands all over the island) Kitchen has microwave, coffee maker, camp stove and out door barbecue on the deck. 50 feet from the water and dock. Excellent place to kayak or just hang out on the dock or cobblestone beach.
- "We had an absolutely beautiful week in the beach cottage. The setting is stellar, the cabin is adorable and we slept with the doors wide open, lulled to sleep by the gentle waves. We swam and fished off the dock, had cocktails at sunset and coffee in the Adirondack chairs as the sun came up. Just an idyllic week, we are already dreaming about coming back!" - "Everything was great we really enjoyed it." - "This place is a hidden gem. Watching the sunset every night and listening to the water and loons made for an unforgettable and much-needed nature getaway."

The best of Maine’s historic shore and woodland cabins! Near Acadia National Park!
The fully maintained and very clean and charming cabin is perched just above the shore line and has extensive beach, sunset, lake, and mountain views from either the large screened in porch or from the many living space and bedroom windows. The cabin is just a few steps from a 250 yard long beach with fresh clear spring fed lake water and gradual sandy bottom swimming.
The cabin can also have an "add on" nearby one-room cabin made available. This cabin is separate, with private bathroom, outdoor shower, grill, basic cooking, coffee, fridge, deck, and a queen bunkbed. Please inquiry if interested. Owner can add it onto this rental prior to booking via VRBO.
My Maine property is a private 300-acre peninsula with a mile-long private gated driveway through some of Maine's last stand of old growth Hemlocks that then splits off to each of 4 private cabins. I have been renting three of the cabins to vetted families and couples since 1997 through online services such as VRBO. Each rental has privacy, separate parking, natural and unobstructed views of the lake, beach and mountains. Our completely private 250 yard long beach is the center piece. The Boathouse (google “VRBO 4017223ha”) and Three Bears Cottage (google “VRBO 102873ha”) are located on the south end of the beach and are separated by 25 yards. The Shadow Cabin (Google “VRBO 102874ha”) and the other cabin (my private) are located on the north end of the beach and are separated by 50 yards.
The property is large and I limit the number of people on the property at one time so that the general serenity of the property can be fully experienced by all without any worry about noise, beach use, shared amenities, and general privacy. There is a caretaker who will be there on the day of arrival, Wednesday for trash and assistance, and is on call for emergencies and to maintain the safety, sanitation, and operation of the property for you. The lake and surrounding area have abundant loons and their haunting calls can be heard day and night. They are a daily visitor to our private cove along with duck families, turtles, and bald eagles. The lake is superb for swimming and is completely spring fed so the water is crystal clear, fresh, and enjoyable. The water temperatures are very comfortable during the summer months and can be enjoyed for hours. Our large private beach offers a soft, clean (non-muck), sandy, gradual entrance into the water. We have a wooden floating raft that is perfect to fish from, swim or paddle to and from, as well as relax on while watching the schools of fish swim by. Our property is surrounded by a State of Maine land reserve (Donnell Pond Unit) that is an extension of Acadia National Park. There is fantastic hiking and exploring all within just a few minutes’ drive or locally a short walk or paddle, all of which has views over thousands of acres of protected land, Acadia National Park, seacoast, islands, lakes, mountains, and our property. We offer for our guests 5 one-man kayaks, 1 two-man kayak, 3 paddle boards, 5 kid kayaks, and a canoe to explore the lake, its remote beaches, the outlets, beaver dams, eagle nests, and fishing. The lake is 75% undeveloped/State owned so you can enjoy the completely secluded natural beaches and shores without worry. The entire property is in its natural state and could be physically challenging.
We do allow for an authorized dog(s) with the understanding that it is not allowed onto furniture, be destructive to the property, be overly bothersome, or be left unattended without being properly secured or crated. It is, however, a fantastic place for a dog especially for one that loves the water, beach, woods, hiking, and general free play. There is a $100 per dog fee. There will be other dogs on the property. Most return every year and are known and have been respectful. Please understand that dogs are often playing on the beach off-leash.

- "The cabin is rustic and true to a quiet step back in time. We really enjoyed morning tea in front of the fireplace as it was cool outside. The beach and water are pristine and gorgeous. We were able to relax and enjoy the piece and quiet of the setting in the woods, with long walks on the entry road. Andrew was available and responded to any requests we had. Fresh seafood was a short distance in Milbridge, which was wonderful. We highly recommend this VRBO if you’re looking to get off the beaten track and relax."

Glamping Downeast - Experience glamping in our Glamping Camp "Acadia" featuring a luxury Tent with a King Bed, an ensuite bathroom with hot water and a real toilet, and a fabulous view. You will feel like you are a million miles away yet we are just 10 miles from historic Ellsworth (the gateway to Acadia) and another 18 miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It's the perfect basecamp for exploring Acadia National Park.
Here are some things that make Camp Acadia a unique glamping experience. Please message us if you have any questions or special needs.
- The View - Camp Acadia offers a fantastic view of the Lake and the wetlands. And you can see Cadillac Mountain from the the edge of the lake, just steps from the Glamping Tent.
- The Bathroom - Acadia's Glamping Tent has an ensuite bathroom with hot water and real toilet that flushs. And the enclosed (private) outdoor shower is on the deck nestled under the tent's awning.
-The Location - We are close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor yet far enough away to avoid the crowds, traffic, and noise. Our Glamping Camps are deep in the woods on our seven acre private property, not in a campground or "Glamping Resort." We have two other camps on the property.
-The Beds - Acadia's Tent features a King bed with a comfortable hybrid mattress, crisp, clean sheets, and cozy duvet. There is also a daybed that converts to two twin beds. We also have a portable crib and a pack-and-play available.
-Wi-Fi - We do not have Wi-Fi (we are in the woods) but there is very good cellular data service available.
-Cooking - The outdoor kitchen, which is in a common area, features a gas grill, a stovetop, a refrigerator, and a microwave. We provide pots, pans and cooking utensils and plates, cups, and eating utensils. The outdoor kitchen's refrigerator is stocked with condiments and essentials.
-Nightly Campfire - The campfire ring with comfortable Adirondack chairs is adjacent to the outdoor kitchen area. There is no need to bring or buy firewood, we have lots.
The road in to our property is a half mile camp road that takes you deep into the woods. No traffic, no noise, just seclusion, quiet, trees, and the beautiful lake.
Please note that Acadia is about 125 feet down a gravel path from the parking area (and just steps from the edge of the lake) so you cannot park right next to the tent. We have a luggage cart/wagon available if needed.
We do not allow dogs or animals of any kind. It is a safety issue. There is a risk of an interaction with wildlife in the area.
***Glamping Downeast is in Maine's great outdoors so be prepared to accept the inherent risk of your adventure including wildlife, insects, and unpredictable conditions (we can’t control weather). Come with an adventurous and open mind, and some bug spray.
- "We had the best stay at this property. The tent had everything you could need and the view was priceless. My children had the best time “exploring” the area. Lee even gave us fishing poles to use. The kitchen area was so convenient for preparing meals and the fire pit and s’mores were enjoyed by all of us. Literally cannot say enough good things about our stay. We had the best time!" - "We decided a last minute visit to the Acadia National Park and fortunately found Lee & Peg Glamping site. The site is easy to reach and upon arrive Lee explained all was needed to manage the tent . Also gave us great info of the area and the Acadia National Park. The kids had a blast and the view from the Tent is spectacular right on the lake . Was a great experience that we will most likely repeat . Thanks Lee & Peg"

As guests, you will have the whole house to yourselves. Southwest Harbor is one of the most beautiful towns in Maine and is located right in the heart of Acadia National Park. Watch beautiful sunrises or sunsets over the ocean, hike world-class trails, visit a sand beach, kayak on a tree-lined lake, eat at a classic Maine lobster shack - there are so many amazing adventures on Mount Desert Island!
The house is easy access to the following and more: just over one mile from downtown Southwest Harbor, less than one mile from Cable Crossing Road, less than two miles to Seawall Picnic Area and Beach, three miles to the oceanfront, family friendly hikes of Wonderland and Ship Harbor, and approximately four miles to Bass Harbor Lighthouse. Additionally, the house is a 20 minute drive through the heart of Acadia National Park to downtown Bar Harbor.
AARP states that Poet's Cabin is one of the top eight affordable vacation rentals by a national park in the country! (VRBO doesnt allow us to hyperlink, search AARP "8 Affordable Vacation Rentals by National Parks".)
Please note, the stairs going up/down to the loft bedroom are very steep and should be used with caution. Also, there is a new Ring camera (just installed) on right side corner of the porch outside. It only faces externally and is on a passive setting so we can check weather conditions and snow plowing.
- "Property exactly as advertised. Stayed w/ my teen daughter for Acadia visit. Really enjoyed being on the quiet side of things, yet easy drive to everything. Great communication from owner incl full listing of things to do, places to eat, etc. Would definitely recommend." - "Great" - "We spent three days and loved that we were far enough away for peace and quiet but close enough to be anywhere in Acadia in 30 minutes. Cabin was fun, clean and everything we needed."

Glamping Downeast - Experience Galamping while exploring Acadia in "Precipice," our luxury Glamping Tent. With a King Bed, an ensuite bathroom (with a real flush toilet!), and a fabulous view, Precipice is located in the heart of Downeast Maine. Deep in the woods and at the edge of the lake, you will feel like you are a million miles away yet we are conveniently located just 10 miles from historic Ellsworth (the gateway to Acadia) and another 18 miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Precipice is the perfect basecamp for exploring Acadia.
Here are some things that make Precipice a unique glamping experience. Please message us if you have any questions or special needs.
- The View - Precipice's deck offers a fantastic view of the Lake and the woods. And you can see Cadillac Mountain across the lake from the deck.
- The Bathroom - Precipice has an ensuite bathroom with hot water and a real toilet that flushes. And the enclosed (private) outdoor shower is nestled under the tent's awning.
-The Location - We are close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor yet far enough away to avoid the crowds, traffic, and noise. Our Glamping Camps are deep in the woods on our seven acre private property, not in a campground or "Glamping Resort." There is one other camp on the property (our vintage Airstream).
-The Bed - Precipice features a king bed with a real king mattress, crisp, clean sheets, and cozy duvets. We also have a portable crib and a pack-and-play available.
-Wi-Fi - We do not have Wi-Fi (we are in the woods) but there is very good cellular data service available.
-Cooking - Precipice has a kitchenette with sink, counter, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Plus the outdoor kitchen, which is in a common area, features a gas grill, a stovetop, and a microwave. We provide pots, pans and cooking utensils and plates, cups, and eating utensils. The outdoor kitchen's refrigerator is stocked with condiments and essentials.
-Nightly Campfire -The campfire ring with comfortable Adirondack chairs is adjacent to the outdoor kitchen area. There is no need to bring or buy firewood, we have lots.
The road in to our property is a half mile camp road that takes you deep into the woods. No traffic, no noise, just seclusion, quiet, trees, and the beautiful lake.
Please note that Precipice is about 250 feet down a gravel path from the parking area (and just steps from the edge of the lake) so you cannot park right next to the tent.
- "It was a great experience" - "As we wrap up our week here exploring the Northeast we all agree our 2 nights spent “glamping” were our favorite! The view was amazing, the bed was super comfy affording for a GREAT nights sleep & the kids enjoyed the camp fire & making smores! With nice warm showers, a bathroom, fridge & coffee maker you have all thats needed for an ejoyable stay! Thanks Lee for sharing your little piece of heaven!" - "It was close to perfect for Glamping. The view was amazing and the outdoor shower was fun. The perfect place to get away from it all."

- "Loved everything about the cottage, it was perfect~" - "Super clean new cabin with kitchen, full size washer/dryer, comfy bed and very close to great dining options. Highly recommend, especially when weather is warm enough to enjoy the screened porch. Good value." - "We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. (So many times I have wished that we could keep the front door open, but can't without a screen.) The cottage is nice and new, and very clean. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds were comfortable, the decor was nice. Sara gave us tips on places to eat and visit, which were helpful. The cottage is a few miles outside of Bar Harbor, which we enjoyed, as the town was quite crowded when were were there. Be sure to use Google Maps for directions, as Apple Maps took us into Bar Harbor (we missed our turn by 7 miles!). Highly recommend this cute cottage!"
