Separate sleeping area with a TV in each. The location is all new and someone has gone to a lot of effort to make the stay pleasant and memorable. Located on the route to Arcadia national park. If you want a treat there is a lovely ice-cream parlour next door. Only very slight niggles is there there was no lifts which if you are on the third floor (2nd if you're from the UK) with a heavy suitcase isn't ideal, and the back ground music needs to turned off at night."

It’s about 35 minutes to Bar Harbor itself but with how crowded it was there, it was nice to have the break back in this property. We will stay again! "

- "We went during the off season, but we didn't realize that meant that the front desk would be closed and we'd have to call to check in which consisted of the room being left unlocked and a single key left on the desk inside the room. No ice machine available. Cleanliness marks for a cleaning rag left in the room and drywall dust all throughout the hallways and elevator could have been overlooked if not for the other deficiencies. Nothing in the room promoting the park. I bought a trail map to Acadia for $3.95 that would have made the room a tiny bit more inviting. "

- "This is a nice BnB. Its location is walking distance to Bar Harbor commercial area and far enough away to avoid congestion and traffic. The room (Robin's Nest) was small and cozy. It lacked a TV, mini-fridge, and microwave, but these are not necessities to a BnB room. The mask enforcement was pretty strict, which makes little sense if you think about it. Walking from your room to get a cup of coffee or snack in the sun room, you must wear a mask. But if you sit down to sip your coffee in the sun room, you can take it off. It's just like restaurants where you have to put your mask on just to go to the restroom. Is the risk any greater to people you walk past, as opposed to the people at a table six feet away? Dumb. Maine state health rules are over the top, unfriendly to distant visitors and are a legally unconstitutional restriction on interstate travel. How is it that New Yorkers are safe to enter the state and Arizonans are not? Everyone knows New Yorkers are brash, uncareful, and their COVID numbers prove it. Yet they can waltz right into Maine and spread disease, no questions asked. This BnB enforced the rules much too strictly to be a warm, inviting environment. Businesses don't have to buy into the paranoia and illegal gubernatorial mandates. A business owner with guts should stand up to Gov. Mills' tyranny. She cost Bar Harbor businesses a fortune in revenue in the late spring and early summer. She should be thrown out of office and businesses should sue the state for lost profits. Anyway, none of that will matter when the stupid pandemic is over. Would definitely stay here again."

Picturesque log cabin in a little meadow surrounded by forest; accessed by easy 5 minute walk along a trail, with electricity, screened porch, and modern comforts. Three min drive to Blue Hill and 50 minutes to Bar Harbor. Enjoy complete peace with only the sounds of nature and nobody nearby.

Please note there's no hot water but great running cold water in kitchen and outside. There's big pots for heating water, and a fully functional outdoor solar shower surrounded by only trees! (i.e., there's no sides to the shower.) The walk is on a path with a long walkway/bridge in the middle, much like a trail in baxter). This is way more than glamorous camping, but it's wilderness.

Cadillac Mountain’s South Ridge Trail is just a 10-minute walk from the Airbnb with views of Cadillac from the unit’s deck!

Only 4 miles from Bar Harbor, the Airbnb is located near several hiking trails, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole and Ocean Path. The Airbnb borders Acadia National Park on one side and is a convenient place to stay while visiting the area.

Located in the Otter Creek village of Mount Desert, a 10-minute drive from Bar Harbor.

The space
A great starting point for exploring Acadia National Park and all the area has to offer! Travelers have a queen-sized bed in the bedroom, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, and deck with propane grill. New floors throughout the house! There is a newly renovated, full bathroom with double sink and towels provided.

Please note: there is a TV with free shows and movies through the Roku channel, but you would need to sign in to access to your own subscription channels (Netflix, Prime, etc.).

Guest access
This unit is up a flight of stairs, above the garage of 6A. You walk through the garage to access the unit where you have access to the interior of 6A, the washer and dryer, along with the back deck with propane gas grill and backyard. Guests can use the parking spot directly in front of 6A’s white vehicle garage door.

I do not live on site, but there is a tenant who lives in 6B who you may see. The units are completely separate and do not share access.

Location is ideal as it’s 25 miles from Bar Harbor and 20 miles from Schoodic Peninsula both of which are the major areas of Acadia National Park.

The space
The guest room is spacious with a double bed and bathroom next to it. It is located up the stairs from the living room area. The house is a relaxing haven for sleep. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and refrigerator for storage or ice. Coffee, tea, milk on hand. The driveway can accommodate 4 vehicles. Guests are welcome to use the 2 bikes available in shed.
House has acompost container. It's fairly quiet and rural so before arrival best to pick up a meal or have dinner out. There are four places nearby for eating out and two breakfast/lunch eateries.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use kitchen and shelf space in the refrigerator. The kitchen is sunny with 2 windows looking out back to field. There is an electric range and a plug in kettle for hot water. A woodstove is in kitchen and guests with experience are welcome to use. Makes for a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom is compact with a shower and tub located right next to guest room. The main entrance to house is in the front close to parking. Because guest room is upstairs the house is not wheelchair accessible. I have Wi-Fi.

During your stay
I'm glad to answer questions about the area and make suggestions. I enjoy sharing breakfast when able but respect guest's privacy. Often folks come in late and I will leave the lights on outside and hallway. Guest room is upstairs so will leave the door open of available room.

Other things to note
My street is Martin Avenue and my house is the fourth on the left with a 42 on the mailbox across the street. There is a large maple and a horse chestnut tree in front near the road. It's hard to miss the trees but the house sits back.

This woodsy, rustic one room cabin is completely off the grid and off the beaten path. It's a camping style stay with a little extra comfort. The cabin is tucked into the woods overlooking a beautiful organic blueberry field. You will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature with lots of southern exposure and privacy. If you're looking for a place to unplug and unwind in a cozy, alternative space, this is it.

The space
The blueberry cabin is a one room space perfect for 2 guests. The space is 12' x 16' with a double bed with comfortable bedding, a small kitchenette equipped with pots, pans and dishes, a 2 burner propane stove for cooking simple meals, a cooler for storing your food in (please provide your own ice) and 5 gallons of clean, potable water. Refills available as needed. There is a private outhouse right next to the cabin. There is a small solar shower available in the summer months only. There is plenty of kindling and firewood for running the wood stove during the colder months. The cabin has large windows that face south, east and west. Prepare for early morning sunshine flooding in. At night there are a few solar powered lanterns that provide soft, low light for a cozy, romantic feel. Many guests have commented on seeing the stars and moonrise on clear nights staying at the cabin.

Guest access
Guest parking is shared with your hosts in the driveway in front of our house and from there it's about a 400 ft walk to the cabin. Once you are at the cabin you will have lots of privacy. The path to the cabin can be icy or muddy depending on the season and we ask that you please walk on the path along the field but not through it. In winter, we'll provide a sled for you to haul your supplies in if there's snow on the ground.

Other things to note
Please note, there is no internet/wi-fi, electricity! Please pack a headlamp as there is limited lighting at night, especially if you need a late check-in. Wildlife can be heard and sometimes seen at the cabin, including a variety of insects and bugs. Please educate yourself about ticks and the prevention of tick born illnesses. This is a camping style stay with extra comfort! We are available by text or in person to help your stay be as enjoyable as possible!

This apartment is close to everything!

The space
The apartment is on the second floor and consists of an open living room and kitchen area with one bedroom and one bathroom with a stand-up shower with glass door.

There is one queen sized bed in the bedroom and a full-sized futon in the living room to comfortably sleep four.

The kitchen is stocked with the basic cooking and dining essentials, an efficiency sized electric range and oven, and full-sized refrigerator to stock all your groceries (or leftovers from all of Ellsworth’s delicious restaurants!).

Up to two dogs are allowed. Any dogs that will be accompanying you must be mentioned at the time of booking and added to the booking form as there is a fee per dog, per stay.

Please note that if you make a reservation and the original number of guests change, please just let me know so I can make sure to accommodate everyone that is coming. It’s a simple courtesy so I know how many to expect, and to make sure to leave amenities for the proper number of guests.

Guests who are eager to sleep in should note that early traffic noise is going to occur as the apartment is located in a downtown location.

Guests will have access to all of the apartment with the exception of one utility closet in the kitchen which is for our cleaning staff to use. (Guests will be provided with extra towels and linens if needed, located in the bedroom closet)

Guests are not allowed to congregate on the fire escape.

Our space has a vintage vibe and is eclectic. Nothing is fancy, but we strive to keep a comfortable, clean, inviting environment for our guests that gives them all the comforts of home. The apartment is located in a city in a downtown location so folks wanting to sleep in, this might not be the best choice! Also, we do not use chemical cleaners so if you are looking for the smell of heavy scented cleaner or bleach in order to consider it clean, this may not be the best fit for you!

Please note that the smoking or vaping of tobacco is absolutely in no way allowed inside the apartment, hallway, etc. Smoking must be done away from the building. Should tobacco smell be in the apartment there will be a $250 fee added to your total. Lastly, due to the very uncertain future in regards to the state of the US, my strict cancellation policy must remain firm. While I have accommodated partial refunds in the past for folks who very unexpectedly need to cancel, I no longer can reimburse folks if they cancel their already booked stay. Thank you for considering and understanding this matter.

Surrounded by Acadia National Park, yet only an eight minute drive to the delicious restaurants and unique shops of Bar Harbor!

This quaint ranch style home has a newly remodeled bathroom, and a large combined living/dining room. For those who are looking to be a little removed from technology, there is little cell service at the house. Wifi, however, is free to use, so you can communicate with the outside world if you need to.

2.5 miles from the closest entrance to the Park Loop Road!

The space
The bedroom is private, and is across the hall from my bedroom. There is a comfortable queen bed, and a large closet with hangers, if you want to hang up any of your clothes. I will provide towels in your room. In addition, you'll see a large display of information about Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and some of the activities to do while you're in town.

In addition to staying in your bedroom, please feel free to hang out in the living room, too! There is a comfortable couch, and a nice dining room table with four chairs. I'd love to chat with you about your travels, and share some stories about mine!

Guest access
You will be able to access all of the house except for my bedroom. Not because I have anything I want to hide from you, but mostly just because it will be messy :) Please let me know if you'd like to do laundry and I can show you the basement and help you get set up with it.

During your stay
As long as I'm in the house, I'll be available. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about the house, the area, or the national park. In addition, I'd love to sit and chat with you at night. I do my best to treat you as a friend while you are staying with me, and will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

Other things to note
Please note that I do have a pup in the house (named Appa!). He is a goldendoodle, and so is hypoallergenic for those concerned about dog allergies. He is a sweetie and loves people. Please do not book if he will be a problem for you!

Take a break and unwind at our cozy cabin retreat!
We have everything you might need for a quick stay, or for a week long vacation! You can find us just outside the hustle and bustle of Acadia and Bar Harbor, but still close enough to get to all the area has to offer, very easily!
ATV trails, hiking, hunting, kayaking, antiquing, local attractions, and more all under an hour from us!
Our cabin is a 1 bedroom with a full bed, with a futon and 3 camping cots as additional sleeping options.

Other things to note
Disclosure: Our cabin is located in a wooded area, there is always the possibility of wild animals in the area, although we have rarely ever seen any.
