- "This is a nice BnB. Its location is walking distance to Bar Harbor commercial area and far enough away to avoid congestion and traffic. The room (Robin's Nest) was small and cozy. It lacked a TV, mini-fridge, and microwave, but these are not necessities to a BnB room. The mask enforcement was pretty strict, which makes little sense if you think about it. Walking from your room to get a cup of coffee or snack in the sun room, you must wear a mask. But if you sit down to sip your coffee in the sun room, you can take it off. It's just like restaurants where you have to put your mask on just to go to the restroom. Is the risk any greater to people you walk past, as opposed to the people at a table six feet away? Dumb. Maine state health rules are over the top, unfriendly to distant visitors and are a legally unconstitutional restriction on interstate travel. How is it that New Yorkers are safe to enter the state and Arizonans are not? Everyone knows New Yorkers are brash, uncareful, and their COVID numbers prove it. Yet they can waltz right into Maine and spread disease, no questions asked. This BnB enforced the rules much too strictly to be a warm, inviting environment. Businesses don't have to buy into the paranoia and illegal gubernatorial mandates. A business owner with guts should stand up to Gov. Mills' tyranny. She cost Bar Harbor businesses a fortune in revenue in the late spring and early summer. She should be thrown out of office and businesses should sue the state for lost profits. Anyway, none of that will matter when the stupid pandemic is over. Would definitely stay here again."
