It’s about 35 minutes to Bar Harbor itself but with how crowded it was there, it was nice to have the break back in this property. We will stay again! "

There is even a "commons" area with free guest laundry, games to borrow, vending machines, etc. The "quiet side" of the island is so nice and the setting of these cabins is so pleasant....Bass Harbor Head Light, Ship Harbor Trailhead, Wonderland Trail, and all kinds of spots to sit and watch the gorgeous sunsets were all close by. Continental breakfast was included. The proprietor was a friendly source of information about things to do in the area and even got on his computer to show us details of how to find a hidden gem and drew a map for us on how to get to another recommended hike. If I ever come back to the area, I would definitely stay here again. It was our favorite stay of the whole trip."

- "Very spacious, clean, and comfortable two-story suite in the downtown area. We loved staying there and highly recommend it. That said, there were some easily addressed deficiencies in the access process. We were given a name for our suite and an access code that we were told would work for entry to the house AND the suite. The code worked for the building but not the suite. Also, none of the suites are marked with names; they’re all numbered."
