- "This is our 2nd year staying at the maverick apartment in Wolfeboro. If you can’t have a beach house on the lake, this is a great location for enjoying downtown Wolfeboro. You can walk to everything and the apartment is clean and pretty well stocked. While the apartment is on one level, there are 10 steps up to the entrance. We usually found parking but it can be a challenge. We bring a couple of extra frying pans—and only one closet has a rod. But the kitchen is efficient with new appliances. Small washer dryer terrific. AC is really effective. Spotlessly clean, WIFI spotty but two TVs with streaming. We love the apartment."

We brought along the teen exchange student from Germany who is staying with us this year. The location could not be better! There are views of, and a very short walk to, Lake Winnipesaukee, and the apartment sits right in the heart of downtown! The apartment is just as described and pictured, well outfitted, and was clean and very comfortable. Everything was in working order, and the check-in process was extremely easy. The entry stairs are typical for the period of house (small steps and a little steep), and there is one other more modern set that goes to the master bedroom; neither set of stairs is lengthy. One thing to be aware of in case you need high speed and high-functioning internet, is that the internet speed was a bit slow. This may have been due to the bad weather, but cable and internet always tend to be a bit problematic in Wolfeboro, regardless of provider or weather. Overall, this is a great property and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or stay here again!"

Caretaker's Studio Apartment on the back of the Main House with a separate entrance. Enter on the first floor into a small living room with two chairs and Bathroom, climb 12 stairs up to kitchen/bedroom. The kitchen includes a sink, cabinets for storage, stove/oven combo and refrigerator open to the bedroom which includes a Double Bed is under the Elevated Loft with a Single Bed that is suitable for a child. The space is private and fully sound insulated. Guests can enjoy all of the common area amenities as well as a small patio with outdoor seating in the peak season. The bathroom is a wet room style bath where the entire room becomes the shower (shower over the toilet). Please see pictures for more detail. We are pet friendly with a $50 per pet cleaning fee and our only limitation is a strict no aggression policy.

We do not have an office so you will proceed directly to the Caretaker unit located on the back of the main house from the porch on the back of the house adjacent to the parking space with a sign that says "caretaker". As you climb the stairs the door on the left without the glass storm door is the entrance. It says "Caretaker" on the door. Call the host if you are not sure or have any questions.

The Striped Loon is truly the perfect homebase for lakeside relaxation, outdoor adventure or downtown exploring.

The cottage offers two upstairs bedrooms—one with a queen bed and AC unit, and another with a full-size bed, a futon for extra sleeping space, and AC unit.

Downstairs is an open concept living area with spacious connected dining and living room and AC. Meant for gathering and hanging out, kick back with your streaming TV access, gather around the coffee table for board game night or challenge a friend on the retro-style two-player arcade machine (Living Room does Not have a working fireplace).

Note: TV is set up to allow you to log into your personal streaming service and automatically log you out upon check out. (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc).

Off the living room you’ll find the full bath with shower, and laundry access for your convenience with some complimentary laundry pods.

On the other side of the main floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen with coffee station that provides pour over coffee and automatic 12 cup drip coffee machine with single serve brewer option (reusable k-cup). Try the complimentary, local grounds we provide in our coffee canister.

Step outside to enjoy the spacious deck, outfitted with string lights, an outdoor dining area, a grill, and a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs—perfect for relaxing after a day at the lake (if you listen closely, you will hear the loons).

At the bottom of the short steep hill, you'll find a public boat ramp to Crescent Lake and access to the scenic Cotton Hollow Rail-trail bike and walking path, which leads straight to downtown Wolfeboro. Guests can use our two kayaks (with a dolly for easier transport), and our beach pass for nearby local beaches including Albee beach and Carry beach. Note: Should you find parking too tight for two large cars in our driveway, you can park down the hill at the public boat ramp.

This two-bedroom (one queen, one with bunk beds), one bathroom cabin is tucked away in the woods on a summer boarding school campus, this cabin is minutes from our private waterfront and five minutes from downtown Wolfeboro. The cabin also includes a full kitchen, living room, washer and dryer and porch.

As the summer school is not in session, please feel free to enjoy the shared beach on Rust Pond as well as our tennis and basketball courts.

Please note: For our spring and fall renters, our cabins are not insulated and do not have heat. However, we do provide space heaters in each bedroom should you need it at night.

Outside, there is a patio with jacuzzi to the right of the house for outdoor sitting, BBQ and fireplace . In the backyard, there is a heated, above-ground pool with a large deck. The patio and pool are shared space.

Welcome to this clean, bright, airy cabin with floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning views of Sargent's Pond in all seasons. At 62 acres and with just twelve homes, Sargent's Pond is the perfect place for simpler pursuits and peace and quiet.

Enjoy two comfortable double bedrooms, a pull-out sofa in the living room, a bathroom with tub, washer, and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Wifi, bluetooth stereo system (bring your vinyl!), and Smart TV. Enjoy dining and relaxing on the spacious deck with commanding water views, and for the little ones, swinging and sliding on the swing set.

Above the garage is a recreation room with a ping pong table as well as a smashing children's playroom filled with toys, board games, puzzles, and books. Enjoy the TV/ DVD player with a variety of favorite kids' flicks. Perfect for rainy days or down time, this extra living space is sure to please kids and adults alike!

Our suite is steps away from Main Street in "The oldest summer resort in America". Take a stroll Downtown to experience several restaurants, bars, ice cream, and local shops! Or just a short walk to Wolfeboro Bay, Back Bay, Brewster Academy, etc...

The space
The suite is 1 large bedroom/Studio with a Queen bed, and a sitting area to watch TV and relax. Also a dining table and chairs to work or eat. We offer a private entrance at the front of the house with keyless entry into the entryway to leave shoes, coats, bags, etc. Up the stairs to the large room on the right where there is a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. There is a private large bathroom with a tub shower.

We are just across the lake (30 min) from Weirs Beach and not far from Meredith.

Sunny first floor two bedroom unit with wrap around porch and outside grill and seating. Unit is across street from Cotton Valley Rail Trail for walking to town and around the shore of Lake Wentworth. Walk across street to bike, walk or run the trail for miles. Also across street from public access to Lake Wentworth to launch your boats, canoes or kayaks. TV in each bedroom and the living room with Netflix, Breezeline and Prime. Internet access at 1 gb speed.

This cottage is part of a small lake community with shared access to a beach. There is a swim raft, picnic tables and a very nice gradual beach that is excellent for small children. We are located 5 minutes from Wolfeboro by car. You can also walk or bike to town on the Cotton Valley Rail Trail. If it rains you can use the community Rec Hall which has ping pong and games and puzzles and a small library.

The space
One bedroom has a queen and the other has 2 twins. There is a convertible full size bed in the livingroom which is suitable for one adult or 2 small children.
