Welcome to “Campbellot”
This lovely year-round chalet is situated in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. It is perched only 20 ft. from private waterfront on crystal clear Rust Pond. Rust Pond is a quiet 210-acre pristine lake in South Wolfeboro, 'The Oldest Summer Resort in America.' From the master bedroom balcony, you can see the morning sunrise, watch fish swim, or simply take in the serenity. Walking out on to the dock with your coffee, you may decide to slip in for an early morning dip, being the first to quietly pierce the calm water. Breakfast on the deck is a must. In the late summer you will smile at the mist rising above the surface, offering the warmth of the lake to the crisp morning air.

The fall foliage draws many to the lakes region, but it is a quieter season on the lake and in town. A great time of year for relaxing, beautiful hikes, fishing, and the brave hearted can still polar-bear swim. You can warm up by the gas fireplace on the deck.

Winter at Campbellot can be peaceful enjoyment of the cottage and cozy gas fireplace taking in the solitude of winter and beauty of the night skies. Winter can also be lake-skating, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing (Gunstock 21miles, King Pine 29miles, Cranmore 43miles, Attitash 51miles), and of course sledding.

4 bedrooms all upstairs, the beds are; 2- queen, 1 – double, 2 – twins. Beds have mattress pads, blankets, comforters/spreads, and pillows with slip covers.
Half-bath on 2nd level.

First floor has living room with gas fireplace, eating area, kitchen, full bath with shower, and laundry available to guests.

Large deck overlooking the lake with 2 tables, sofa, Weber gas grill, a gas fireplace.

For in and on the water fun there is a dock, raft, rowboat, kayak, canoe, 2 standup paddle boards.

Pets (dogs) allowed, no cats. The fee for a dog is $185. Maximum is 3 dogs. Additional dogs require approval and communication with owner. Additional fee will apply, $50 per dog.

Guests provide their own linens. (bed sheets, bath and beach towels).
Linens are available on request for an additional $150 fee.

Parking is at the 2nd level driveway. Lake level access is only for loading and unloading. This lake level access is not available in the in the Spring.

What the Area Offers:

Rust Pond is noted for great bass fishing. From Campbellot a short walk along the Middleton Road and up Alpine Meadows will reward you with the most amazing view of Mount Major and Lake Winnipesaukee. The chalet is 3 miles from the center of Wolfeboro and Lake Winnipesaukee. There is a great walking path along the old railroad starting at the Wolfeboro depot and proceeding along Crystal Lake and Lake Wentworth to Albee Beach and beyond. The Ellis Hatch Fly Fishing preserve and Jones Pond are 5 miles along Middleton Road toward New Durham. This is a great spot to walk and have dogs off leash. There is a new dog park at the “NICK”. In town you will find Cate Park, Great Waters Musical Performance, Craft Fairs, and the famous Huggins Hospital Fair.

There are abundant restaurants, grocery, and specialty shops. Our family loves the ice cream, crepes, shoe store, jewelry, the local library, and a hidden gem, the Wright Museum. Lake Winnipesaukee Golf Club is near the Kingswood Regional High School toward the center of Wolfeboro. The Mt. Washington Cruise Ship offers sightseeing trips of Winnipesaukee from the Wolfeboro docks several days a week. Castle in the Clouds is another great take for the view, lunch or horse back riding.

There are 2 golf courses within 10 miles: Enjoy New England at it's best. The Cotton Valley Trail, Knights Pond, and the Ellis R. Hatch Jr. Wildlife Area are less than 5 miles away. Mount Major in Alton offers a great day hike for families with the reward of stunning views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Presidential Range. The Kancamagus Highway and the White Mountains are only an hour's drive north. Story Land is an hour north if the kids aren't exhausted by swimming and playing outside all day. The the Conway outlets are an hour away if school or holiday shopping is on your agenda. Antique and yard sale expeditions are always an option if you want a change from your beautiful lake surroundings. Charming Wolfeboro Winnipesaukee waterfront cottage in the heart of antique boat land - as seen in the UK Guardian newspaper. Direct access to main lake via Wolfeboro bridge. In the summer watch the gorgeous wooden boats cruise by or the Wolfeboro water ski team jump and slalom in our Back Bay. Our deck overlooks the waterway that leads out to main lake so its fun watching the various types of water-craft. Wolfeboro center is 5 minute walk or 2 minutes food shopping by boat. We often kayak over for groceries and tie up at the Back Bay docks close to the shops. Enjoy an evening cruise by boat to one of 3 local restaurants that have docks. Dock for up to 20ft boat and use of small sail boat. New for this season one of the new fun paddle boards! Give it a try, maybe even take a paddle board yoga class that runs daily by the town docks in the summer. 5 very nice kayaks & 2 canoes are included for you to use. We also have a paddle boat and for those who know how to sail , a Sunfish sail boat! Great fishing, lots of fun for kids.

If you are planning to bring or rent a boat, it will need to be able to pass under the bridge to our bay to have access to our dock. Goodhue Hawkins is the only rental Marina in Wolfeboro and if 5 minutes by car. You can keep the boat at their dock if it won't fit to access ours. Easy launching ramp and trailer parking close by. If you have any questions regarding the boat you'd like to bring or one you'd like to rent, please ask before instant booking. We own a 20ft Four Winns Bowrider and we clear easily.

Lovely green lawn down to the lake front with great fire pit for evening campfires. Space enough for tent if desired. Wonderful bike path that leads to beach and tennis courts just across the bay. Choice of 3 local beaches and we include two passes on our notice board for you to access and park at all three of them.

In the Fall from Thanksgiving through the Winter the private 4 person hot tub is open for use. In Winter snowmobile or cross country ski right from the front door. Skiing and fabulous outlet shopping 45 minutes in North Conway.

The weather was perfect! Cool nights & warm days! Our favorite adventures during our stay were seeing the beaver in the early morning by the lakeside; catching lots of fish; kayaking; roasting marshmallows on the camp fire at night; swimming and of course just relaxing in the swing on the porch! The location is great; walking distance to town. With all the fun things to do right here at the cottage and the bay, we didn't have to leave! We'd love to return again!

The weather was fantastic! Sunny and warm for all but two of our days. Our favorite adventures during our stay were our daily walks into town and the walking trail around the bay. The outdoor shower - absolutely wonderful!! We even checked out the Hospital Aid Fair on Saturday. Several of us also drove to Lincoln NH for the Alpine Sip Line adventure - great fun! Oh, and not to forget the round of golf at Kingswood golf course down the street. We enjoyed eating at the Wolfetrap after reading all the positive reviews from other guests in the cottage guest book. We really had a great week - and particularly enjoyed the KUBB game we found on the porch. Great for fun in the afternoon after a swim. Albee Beach on Lake Wentworth was another great excursion - especially for the children!

This newly updated RUSTIC cottage is located on 100 feet of shore-front with stunning views of Lake Wentworth and the mountains beyond. A private sandy beach out front is great for the kids, and the spectacular lakeside setting is the perfect place for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, FISHING, and all sorts of water activities. Relax on the swim raft, or head out on your boat to enjoy the lake. Fishing on Wentworth is a favorite pastime and the lake is known for its smallmouth bass. Bring your boat and come right up to the generous dock. Included in the rental is use of the canoe and kayaks, paddle board and an OPTIONAL fishing boat is available for rent. There are swings outside for the kids and the cottage is located on a dirt road, great for bikes or a pleasant run.

There is also a gas grill on the porch. The oversized glass sliders provide wonderful views from the great room and the large deck connects you with the outdoors.

The finished walk-out-to-the-lake lower level has fantastic views from the dual 9-foot sliders and hosts two additional bedrooms with queen beds, a modern bathroom with a 6 foot soaking tub with dual showers and granite countertop, and a bonus family room for the kids to have their own space. The house offers privacy for 10 in bedrooms, plus a loft with a double bed and a queen-size futon in the lower level.

A gas fireplace set on the granite hearth helps set the mood for relaxation and country living on a cool night, but fast cable internet with WIFI and a smart TV are also available for your evening enjoyment, as are TV's in the main bedrooms. The lake itself is about five by three miles with many islands and a nature preserve, Stamp Act Island in the middle. It is known for its tranquility and the superb water quality, perfect for a peaceful vacation. Just a few minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, the house is close to shopping, fine dining and casual restaurants, golf, walking/hiking trails, museums, and all the activities provided by Lake Winnipesauke and the Lakes Region, yet away from the noise and crowds of the bigger lake.

The location is private, yet you are only three miles from Wolfeboro, 'The Oldest Summer Resort in America,' and Lake Winnipesaukee. Decorated with antiques and 'shabby chic' style furniture, it was featured in Yankee Magazine's May 2006 magazine. There is a newly renovated kitchen, sun room dining area, and beamed cathedral ceiling and fireplace in the upstairs living room. A large deck with 2 seating areas is close to the water's edge, as well as a new vaulted ceiling screened porch that connects with the master bedroom and kitchen. The new first floor has amazing lake views from every space, all at the edge of the water! There is a little protected area from where you enter the lake. Relax on a float or take the kayaks for a ride. My family has vacationed in Wolfeboro since the early 60's. This cozy cottage sits on over 100 feet of lake front property in coveted Winter Harbor of Lake Winnipesaukee. Western exposure provides absolutely gorgeous sunsets. The screened porch allows for breathtaking views of the lake and includes a seating area and dining table.

This two bedroom, one bath cottage has wood floors throughout and a spacious living area with TV and fireplace. Another interior dining area is adjacent to the kitchen. One bedroom features a queen size bed and the other two twin beds. Each bedroom is equipped with a dresser, nightstands and ceiling fans.The updated bathroom includes a shower. Internet access is provided. This is a non-smoking property.

The lower level features another large living area with couch and chairs. Double sets of sliding glass doors lead out to the lake.

This home is part of an association with shared beach and boathouse privileges. HOA rules and regulations do apply and will be provided upon rental.

The picturesque town of Wolfeboro is a short 5 minute drive away and provides shopping, restaurants, lake access for boats, boat rentals and some of the best ice cream anywhere. There are many opportunities for hiking, sight-seeing, lake cruises and local concerts in the area.

The location made it easy to access downtown Wolfeboro for activities or any of the day hikes we ventured on." - "Took my 88 year old mother* for a few days and had a lovely time at this lakefront cottage. Check in was super easy and host answered any of my questions promptly. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed to prepare a few meals. We had fabulous weather and spent the bulk of our time on the dock or in the water! My mother spent 30-60 minutes just floating in a ring every day the water was so warm! Not far from the town center if you need anything or want to shop. It was very peaceful at night and we heard a few Loons. *My mother doesn't have any trouble walking but the steps are a bit steep going down to the grassy area in front of the lake but there is a railing. It may be a bit difficult for someone who has trouble walking or needs help."

The on site cottage was perfect in terms of location, privacy, cleanliness and the unspoken presence of security that was important to me a line traveler. I highly recommend this Inn for a special week on the lake, couples, small families. Accommodations are beautifully updated and comfortable."

- "Last minute trip to a new area for us and found Grandma's cabin on VRBO and so glad we did. The place was on the river between two lakes and had all the comforts of home. The cabin is small but immaculate and really all we needed for a friends getaway. We came with our clothes and pretty much everything else was provided. The front stairs and dock are fairly new and so sturdy. The back deck was perfect for morning coffee looking over the river but was a bit shaky so hopefully that's the next project. The hill to go down to the dock was fairly steep and since I have a bad knee just used the front stairs to go to the dock so it wasn't an issue. We didn't get to use the provided kayak or paddleboard since it was such a short trip and poured one of the days but would definitely come back. The proximity to the rail trail was awesome and we enjoyed walking around downtown Wolfeboro and visiting the local restaurants and coffee locations. I have stayed in many VRBO locations and have to say how clean this cabin was. For a place that accepts dogs, you would never know it. Hopefully next time we can bring our dog and she too can enjoy this home away from home!"

- "Amazing place to stay! We rented a room after a concert at the NH Bank Pavilion and it was just what we needed. Comfy beds, great accommodations. We wish we could have stayed longer!" - "We stayed here for our 4th time in August, and it was once again spectacular. I’m a single mom with an 8 and 11 year old. I love that they can run around the property with plenty to keep them occupied (bikes, tetherball, yard jenga, cornhole)and I never need to worry about their safety or if they’re being a nuisance. The cottages and property are clean, well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Beds are comfortable, air conditioning and heat works and the upgrade to full size refrigerators is a major plus. The Cottages are walkable to town, close to beaches and centrally located to attractions. Campfires at night are encouraged and firewood is supplied. Everyone I’ve met at the Cottages have been friendly and wonderful “neighbors”. We’ll be back next year!"

So much space, so comfortable and very well stocked… there was nothing a thing missing in the kitchen… which is rare in rentals I feel. We were there for a celebration of life for my uncle who passed away and having this spot to come back to each evening was so appreciated and needed in order to really unwind from the day. Nellie's View is located on pristine Rust Pond in beautiful Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. It is a private 850 SF home, recently renovated and newly furnished. It has a full eat-in kitchen with a half bath, a large and comfortable living room, and a luxurious master bedroom with a sitting area and an en-suite full bath. There are fun birch bunk beds for the kids, a memory foam sleep sofa, and a queen bed in the master. All rooms have wonderful lake views! Sliders in the living room connect to the large upper deck with multiple seating areas and a gas grill. Steps down lead to the waterfront decks, dock, and swimming area. Kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, a canoe, and a sailboat are available for our Guests.
Our neighboring property, Grey Shingles Camps, is a 5 acre property with an additional 5 camps and a Rec Hall. Nellie's View, although private, has the advantage of enjoying all the amenities of Grey Shingles Camps. These include basketball, pickle ball, volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, corn hole, campfires in the orchard, and a sandy beach with the afore mentioned watercraft. The Rec Hall has our Reception Desk, a living room with a large screen cable TV, ping pong, foosball, games and puzzles, a screen porch, and a new full kitchen for Guest use.
Wolfeboro holds the claim of being "The Oldest Summer Resort in America"! The downtown area is about 1-1/2 miles up the road and is located directly on Lake Winnipesaukee. There are several groceries and wonderful bakeries, and many terrific restaurants offering various cuisines. There are art and craft galleries, clothing and home decor shops, and lots of yummy ice cream! There are boat rides on Winnipesaukee, and 4 museums offering local and international history, boating, and natural history. We can't say enough about our home town!
Possibilities are endless for fun day trips including hiking, fishing, antiquing, and other local sightseeing. Additionally, North Conway and the White Mountains are an hour north, an easy day trip from Wolfeboro. Portsmouth and Kittery, Maine are about an hour as well.

- "Very nice property, quiet and very serene. Owners were very pleasant and maintain the property, grounds and amenities beautifully." - "Nellie's View is great. The little house has everything you need. The private bedroom (queen) has an en suite bath, and there's a pull-out queen too. There is a set of bunkbeds for two little people (and I mean little as they are short and narrow.) The half bath off the kitchen is much appreciated. It's all been updated and is quite comfortable. There is a TV with basic channels but we only turned it on once. We didn't bring our Amazon Fire so no movies or shows, which was just fine in the end. The weather was so nice we never wanted to watch anyway. The grill works well, the view to the lake is as shown in the pictures (perfect with a cup of coffee or cocktail in hand), and the water is delightful. Rich and Robin have several SUPs and kayaks, with paddles and PFDs you can use, and a sunfish which we used every day. There's a little beach where guests from the cabins use, with a dock, and it's easy to launch the boats/boards from there. Of course Wolfeboro is a great town, offering access to the big lake (Winnipesaukee) right off the town docks. There's good coffee, a juicery/smoothie place, a dive shop, hardware store, easy and casual places to eat. The super market in town is limited but has the basics. Best to stop at a Hannafords on the way if you plan to cook. We enjoyed The Wolftrap just off the main downtown area, eating outside. As of this writing we could only eat at establishments with outdoor tables, which was fine. We walked about 3 miles (out of 12) on the Rail Trail which is flat and starts at the center of town, a good way to see Lake Wentworth and get little history lessons on the path with informational placards placed along the way. Rich and Robin were very attentive to our needs and couldn't have been nicer. They have a very special place at Grey Shingles Camp, and Nellie's View is just part of the experience they offer. Be sure to bake some cookies for Rich while you're there!"

- "We loved our stay at The Cottages of Wolfesboro. The 50’s inspired decor was cheerful and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a complimentary s’mores making kit and an adorable pink bandanna with “The Cottages of Wolfesboro” print for our doggie which made a very practical souvenir of our trip. A dog crate was provided upon request at no additional charge. The little kitchen was very thoughtfully provisioned and included a small 5-burner stove with an oven, small fridge with a freezer, pots and pans, utensils, microwave, a toaster, coffee maker with both a brew pot an Keurig option, dishes and silverware. The location was great, easily walkable to the local grocery store, downtown Wolfesboro and the bike/walking trail. There were lots of kayaks and bikes with helmets available to borrow at no charge. A perfect place to hang up your coats and leave your shoes before making yourself at home. *Note the cottage is a shoe free home.

THE KITCHEN:
It is well equipped with all the basics you need for home cooked meals: gas stove, microwave, full size fridge, dishwasher, dishes, glassware and cookware. You will also find: crockpot, toaster, instant pot, blender, and 2 types of coffee makers.

LIVING ROOM:
The open-concept kitchen/dining area/living room on the main floor is a great space for families or small groups to gather. The living room has a wingback arm chair & petite couch, TV with Chromcast to stream all your favorite movies, and high-speed WiFi (400MBPS). You will also find board games, books & puzzles. In the summer months a window AC unit is installed.

DINING:
Our dining table accommodates up to 6 people with the extra chair stored in the master closet.

BEDROOMS:
#1 -- on the main living level, near the bathroom; it has a California king bed, a bench, 2 nightstands, a dresser, portable fan, window AC unit for summer months, & large closet.
#2 -- on the upper level of the house; it has a full bed, pop-up desk, 1 nightstand, luggage stand, portable fan, & closet.
#3 -- also on the upper level of the house; it has a queen bed, 1 nightstand, luggage stand, portable fan, a closet & dresser.

UPSTAIRS OPEN SPACE:
In the open landing area upstairs we have created an additional living space ideal for tweens / teens alike. On the opposite side is the kids corner with a small table and chairs, books, toys, games, and more.
*Note for summer guest: this space has a window AC unit. For the bedrooms to benefit from the cool air it's suggested to leave the doors open.

EXTERIOR SURROUNDINGS:
The cottage comfortably distanced between 2 neighbors with no neighbor directly in front. There is a small front and backyard. The backyard does open up to a larger open space and small wooded area.

PARKING:
The driveway has space for up to 4 vehicles, or less vehicles and a boat trailer if you'd like to bring yours.

Please note that very deep cleaning is completed before every guest check in including washing all linens and towels and disinfecting all surfaces. Our goal is to create a safe and clean haven for your visit.

Kids of all ages are welcome at your discretion, but the house does has a staircase, and gas stove in the kitchen.

There is one exterior security camera; facing the driveway/road located in the middle of the garage. These are primarily to ensure property maintenance is taken care of, and also double as a security measure and for our liability.

A very nice cottage located on the shores of Crescent lake. The area is very private , feeling as if you are on an island . We have a small sandy beach with crystal clear water , perfect for children and parents . The walking trail is located directly behind the property , a fifteen minute walk to the center of Wolfeboro where you will find restaurants , shops , concerts and many more events . The space
This home has been recently updated to provide a modern, clean & true northern, lakeside New England feel. The space is perfect for a family & friends getaway. As you walk into our unique space, you will see there are two bedrooms and 1 full bath on the first floor. Enjoy the open concept feel of the updated kitchen, dining & living room area. As you walk up the stairs, you will find the master bedroom with an ensuite. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the small attached balcony & listen to the birds. The second room upstairs is what we like to call the "fort room". This room includes 4 twin size beds & a large area to play; ideal for the kids!

As part of your stay, you will have access to the beach just down the street! With a quick 3 minutes walk - dip your toes in the water & enjoy the sunshine on the beach!

Note: while it is a short walk, the beach is nestled at the bottom of a steep hill. There are stairs to walk down if needed. It may be helpful to drive a vehicle down to unpack beach gear & belongings but you are not allowed to park & stay. The vehicle would have to be brought back up to the house.

Please be respectful of residents who will also be sharing the space with you.
There is also a grass area & picnic table area which you may also enjoy!

The cottage has a large driveway ample enough for multiple vehicles at once and/or even lake boat boat trailer.

The space
When we first saw this space it was immediately clear it was the charming lake house we were looking for. Originally a single room cottage, likely built in the early 1950's, the house has seen many improvements over the past 60+ years, growing into the amazing place it is today. Owned by the same family for over 50 years we are excited to continue the tradition and share this special space with the community.

It's a classic lake house / cottage in every sense with pine floors, simple decor and a picturesque location. We completed our updates to the space over the first two winters, focusing on balancing the original intent but incorporating a few touches we wanted. (Fridge, microwave, updated bathroom, etc.) This is not a modern home, but a simple cottage looking to continue its rich history of making great memories on the big lake.

Guest are welcomed and encouraged to take advantage of the entire house. However, please respect the closets & garage which are locked. We keep a some personal affects at the property for when we are in town. This is our summer home, not a vacation rental, so we kindly ask guests to treat it with care :-)

Please note our neighbors are finalizing their new home next door. (Very excited/happy for them & it looks great) While no direct impact on our property, we wanted our potential guests to be aware in case you are sensitive to this type of noise / activity.

General Good Neighbor / Lake Etiquette:
For guests new to the area or Lake Winnipesaukee, we kindly ask you to observe the following:

PWC / Jet Ski & Boat Operators: Please always leave and arrive at the dock at no wake speed to avoid danger & disturbance to others. With many swimmers and wildlife in the water, it’s important to effectively “leave no trace”

Respect neighboring property: Like our own home, we ask you to please respect the private property of others. This includes no illegal parking on the road to our home, no turning around in neighboring driveways (just back-up), and no general trespassing and/or accessing docks, lawns, driveways, etc.

Noise Pollution: At the lake noise carries easily and can unintentionally be a disturbance to others or negatively impact wildlife. Please avoid loud music or external speakers, and always observe quiet hours.

Tranquility: The area on Winnipesaukee in which our home is located is quiet and reserved in nature, something which we value and want to maintain and are sharing here. We kindly ask you to respect and maintain the vibe we have, it’s both special and unique today and we don’t want to lose it.

Linens:
Home will come equipped with basic towels and linens for the beds. (Of course, please feel free to bring your own sheets, towels and pillows if you prefer something specific.)
House will also have beach towels, but we would suggest bringing some extras depending your expected amount of use.

No Pets / No Smoking:
Our home is both pet free and smoke free - including the house and property. All cigarettes, pipes, cigars, e-cigarettes / devices, snuff, or chewing tobacco, etc. and all animals, including “day visitors” are not permitted. You'll be charged an additional cleaning fee should these house rules be broken.

Trash:
Blue recycling bins for separating glass, aluminum & metal cans are in the small storage bump-out next to the chimney. General trash should be placed in the cans beside the house in the same area. Please remember to close the lids tightly and secure the straps; otherwise you'll likely find some unexpected friends. :-)

Septic:
Lake Winnipesaukee is a delicate ecosystem and this home is less than 20ft from the water. Guests need to remember our property has a private, not public septic system. Please do not flush ANYTHING other than "1" or "2" & septic friendly provided toilet paper, down the toilet. The kitchen sink is similar, please do not put food, grease, cooking oil down the drain. The septic is inspected regularly & $300 pump-out fee will be assessed if foreign objects are found.

Exterior Security Camera:
Per AirBnB's updated guidelines, we would like to note there is an alarm system, which includes a security camera within our garage. (This is not a guest accessible area.)

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis perched on the edge of a small lake. Enjoy kayaks, row boat, peddle boat, swimming and fishing. Sit back and relax on the large deck overlooking the water and rustle up a BBQ dinner. Chill by firelight around our natural fire pit. Please see important notes about what to bring in the other sections of the listing.

The space
It’s all about the heavily wooded lakeside setting and the great outdoor space. Incredibly peaceful and restful, almost zen-like. The cottage and rooms are compact but comfortable. Please remember this is a rural woodsy lakeside retreat not a W Hotel!! The main house sleeps up to 6 and has one bathroom. Please note there is no laundry facility so please bring sheets and towels.

Overflow beds are in a rustic bunkhouse sleeping 4 people in basic bunk beds. Has light, power outlet, windows, a fan and a space heater should you need them but no AC (it rarely gets real hot and often there is a Nice breeze from across the lake). Perfect for the kids!

The lake is small but very pretty. Water is relatively shallow and warm. Lake floor is a mixture of sand and silt. We swim all the time in the sandy area in front of the small private beach. For those who like to fish I’m told it’s amazing because of the warm shallow water. You’ll see neighbors out fishing every day. No power boats are allowed.

Other things to note
We do not have any laundry facilities so please bring your own towels and sheets (one queen sofa bed, one full size bed, 2 single beds in the house, 4 bunk beds in the bunk house). There are plenty of pillows and blankets. You will find extra blankets inside the ottomans in the living room.

Please make sure to cover the outdoor furniture with the covers provided both overnight and when leaving the house for any extended period as weather conditions can change suddenly and the last thing you want is a bunch of soggy wet cushions! Place the swing chair cushion under the sofa cover. Leave the dining table cushions in place and simply cover the table and chairs with the cover provided. Make sure to put the way down bags on top of each cover otherwise the wind across the lake can blow the covers off!
