- "We've been to Old Orchard Beach many times, and we enjoyed our stay at this condo very much! The group was me, my 14 year old daughter, and two of her friends. The girls took the loft bedroom and I used the bed in the walk-out basement. The place is great for a clean, convenient place to lay your head while enjoying Old Orchard! It's about a ten-minute walk from the beach, but that means it's far enough from the train tracks that the train doesn't wak you up. (If you stay right at the beach, you will hear the very loud train at all hours.) The kitchen is great, with space for up to six people to sit and eat. (As with most short-term rentals, if you need sharp knives for cooking, bring your own.) Be sure to read the description so you understand things that might not work for you. The only bathroom is downstairs in the walk-out basement bedroom area, and to get there you have to go down a very narrow, metal, spiral staircase. This was not a problem for us, but this condo would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues or challenges with tricky stairs. Also, as others have mentioned, both bedrooms are all open in one way or another, so you hear everything going on. Again, not at all a problem for us at all, but do be aware. Overall, we loved our stay! We met owner Moira once briefly as we were checking in, and she was lovely. Thanks for a great couple of days!"

- "Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our week at this well maintained beach house. The two levels of living space allowed everyone too spread out when there was time to relax. The small kitchen was completely functional and we cooked a few meals using the varied assortment of provided pots, pans and utensils. With two couches and additional chairs, the cozy living room was still spacious enough for family game night and watching movies together. We loved being able to walk to the beach in just about 5 minutes every day. It was also a quick walk to play mini-golf as well. Be warned, with several rail crossings nearby, the tracks that parallel the shore line are active and you may be slightly annoyed by how loud the train horn is. Although, I suspect this is the case for any home on the east side of town. The owner was friendly and helpful, both via communications and in-person on site, but also gave us all the space we needed."

Property was clean with all the basic amenities plus a few added bonuses like overhead ceiling fans, fire pit, plenty of outdoor seating and more. It is also the perfect location to the beach, park, shopping, restaurants and more. We had a great stay. I would recommend getting to the beach early (like 9am), it gets extremely crowded rather quickly." - "We arrived late afternoon and were immediately greeted by Janet and Karen. The cottage was adorable. Perfect for two adults, a 13 year old, and a 10 year old. The listing is accurate, as are the pictures. Things worth noting: The cottage has outdoor seating and a propane fire pit that we enjoyed at night. There is also a screened in front porch with additional seating and a clothes line for drying. The kitchen has a small table with two chairs, fridge, sink, toaster, microwave, and a hot plate. There is a coffee pot with filters, silverware, cups and dishes, and cooking utensils. The cottage also has a dish drying rack, dish soap, and dish towels. There are two bedrooms. One room has a three drawer dresser and a double bed. The other bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed. All beds have adequate pillows and blankets. Both rooms have tvs on the walls. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with shelf space for soaps and shampoos. Bar soap was provided, along with bath towels and wash cloths. There is a laundry basket for towels that Janet and Karen will replace as needed. The cottage was very clean and ready when we got there. There is on-sight parking available. The pier and the beach are only about a block away- less than a five minute walk. There is also a swimming pool. We did not use it, but it looked nice. Had we stayed longer, we definitely would have used it. We loved our stay and would stay there again, when we return. Each unit has 1 parking spot included in your reservation.
