- "We've been to Old Orchard Beach many times, and we enjoyed our stay at this condo very much! The group was me, my 14 year old daughter, and two of her friends. The girls took the loft bedroom and I used the bed in the walk-out basement. The place is great for a clean, convenient place to lay your head while enjoying Old Orchard! It's about a ten-minute walk from the beach, but that means it's far enough from the train tracks that the train doesn't wak you up. (If you stay right at the beach, you will hear the very loud train at all hours.) The kitchen is great, with space for up to six people to sit and eat. (As with most short-term rentals, if you need sharp knives for cooking, bring your own.) Be sure to read the description so you understand things that might not work for you. The only bathroom is downstairs in the walk-out basement bedroom area, and to get there you have to go down a very narrow, metal, spiral staircase. This was not a problem for us, but this condo would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues or challenges with tricky stairs. Also, as others have mentioned, both bedrooms are all open in one way or another, so you hear everything going on. Again, not at all a problem for us at all, but do be aware. Overall, we loved our stay! We met owner Moira once briefly as we were checking in, and she was lovely. Thanks for a great couple of days!"

- "Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our week at this well maintained beach house. The two levels of living space allowed everyone too spread out when there was time to relax. The small kitchen was completely functional and we cooked a few meals using the varied assortment of provided pots, pans and utensils. With two couches and additional chairs, the cozy living room was still spacious enough for family game night and watching movies together. We loved being able to walk to the beach in just about 5 minutes every day. It was also a quick walk to play mini-golf as well. Be warned, with several rail crossings nearby, the tracks that parallel the shore line are active and you may be slightly annoyed by how loud the train horn is. Although, I suspect this is the case for any home on the east side of town. The owner was friendly and helpful, both via communications and in-person on site, but also gave us all the space we needed."

There is also a swimming pool. We did not use it, but it looked nice. Had we stayed longer, we definitely would have used it. We loved our stay and would stay there again, when we return. - "Great location, easy to book, check in, questions quickly answered. Everything you might need is there, just bring the food, drink and swimsuits! Recommend!" - "We had a wonderful stay - myself, my husband and my 6,4, and 2 year old children all enjoyed our time at the beach. We could have done without the harassment of the old lady from cottage 4 (owner perhaps?) telling us to get out at 10am. We were packing the car at 10:02 and trying to get the kids in - we were not in the cottage anymore everything was out. We left the property 10:11am. Her nagging and threats of charging extra were completely unnecessary. It was too bad to have to leave on such a sour note, Otherwise our stay was great."

The location makes it so easy to run back and forth from the cottages to the shore - grab a drink, use the bathroom or have lunch in the shade using our outdoor barbecue grills and sitting at our own outdoor tables and chairs.

This winter, 2024/2025 we renovated our cottages. They look like brand new cottages. Many of the furnishings inside are brand new, as of March 2025. Brand new queen size beds, new couches, tables & chairs, along with fresh paint both inside and out. Our cottages are no longer white with pink trim. They are now white with an ocean blue trim. We hope you will like our new look!

The living room has a comfortable futon couch, coffee table and a flat screen, Smart TV where you can enjoy logging in to your streaming network channels like Netflix, Prime & Hulu.
The open kitchen area has a stove top, a medium size refrigerator & freezer, and all the necessary kitchenware like pots & pans, dishware, glassware, toaster, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (individual k-cups) and more...

We provide all the necessary linens, bed sheets, duvets, pillows, pillow cases, bath towels & beach towels for up to 4 people.

This spacious, charming cottage features one bedroom with a brand new queen bed and new mattress (March 2025). The living room has a pull-out futon couch, ideal to sleep 2 children. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination.

Off-street parking. Cottage 5 has an assigned parking space next to the corner of Reggio Ave and Seaside Ave. There is a parking sign in front of the parking space, just behind the white picket fence, labelled cabin 5. Our cottages are located between Odessa Ave & Reggio Ave. If you are traveling with two vehicles, you may park on the street, either on Odessa Ave or Reggio Ave. Parking is free.

We email you check-in information the morning of your arrival, this includes providing you with the code to enter the property, wifi user name & password as well as other, general information.

Can I bring a pet with me?
Being dog owners ourselves, we understand how attached people are with their pets. There is a pet surcharge of $50 per night.

Can I request an early check-in, and, or a late check-out?
Yes, you may. The earlier you request this, the more likely we may be able to accomodate you.

Is it too cold to enter the sea in the summertime?

Absolutely not! beach goers are in the ocean throughout the summer. In mid July 2021 the ocean temperature reached 74 degrees!

Can I walk into town from this property?

Yes, of course. The downtown area of Old Orchard Beach is only 2/3 mile. One can easily walk along the beach to the pier and up the main street. Or one can walk along West Grand Ave. It too is a nice walk with safe sidewalks on either side of the street.

Do you rent in the off-season? fall, winter and early Spring time?

Yes. We rent our property year-round. Popular off-season dates include Columbus day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years' Eve, Valentine's day, Easter, Memorial Day weekend.

I am trying to book for next summer but I cannot locate any available dates why is this?

We have opened our calendar to accept new bookings for the summer of 2025 as well as 2026. We accept both short and long term reservations. If the dates that you are looking for are unavailable do look further on our website as we have a total of 8 cottages, two of which, are two-bedroom cottages, while 6 of the cottages are one-bedroom. Just 1 block from our cottages are 8, two-bedroom condos, and 1, four-bedroom condo. We also have 5 & 6 bedroom beach houses, suitable for large families & groups. See listings below.

Can we reserve a cottage for just 2 or 3 nights instead of having to book an entire week?

Yes, in the summer we have a 2-night minimum stay for our cottages & condos. Occasionally, a 1-night stay may become available. In the summer the beach houses have a 7-night minimum reservation requirement. In the fall, winter & spring one may book a cottage or condo for 1 night only.

Other than the beach what do you recommend we do with our children?
Fun Town USA - theme park
Splash Town USA - water park (they are attached to each other. The park is located in Saco, the town next door.
Aquaboggan theme park. More suitable for younger children. Also located in Saco.
Palace Playland - you can walk to. It is a fun theme park with amusements. It is located in front of the pier. A very pleasant 15 minute walk!
Pirates Cove - mini golf. This place is a fun favorite for my family. It is an easy 10 minute walk, it is open in the day & at night.
The Memorial Park has basketball & tennis courts and a fun playground for your younger children.

Cape Elizabeth light house with its' Shale Beach is something we highly recommend visiting. It is an amazing site, you can sit outside on the picnic tables and eat lunch whilst admiring the beautiful ocean views. It is approximately, a 25-30 minute drive.
Downtown Portland has so many amazing restaurants to explore. Great shopping in the Old Port & Wharf. A great outdoor activity to do, especially on an overcast day!
How far is the Old Orchard Beach train station from your property?

It is approximately 0.5 mile, or a very comfortable, 10 minute walk. We invite guests traveling from Boston who want to get away for 2 or 3 nights to travel by train. It is a great / fun alternative travel option.

If there are any issues on the property, who do I contact and how quickly are you able to resolve these issues?
All guests are given my personal cell phone. Should there be any major problem inside the house I ask guests to contact me right away. I will be sure to address any issue as expeditiously as possible.

Welcome to the Moe Cottage located oceanside in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. This charming and cozy cottage has beautiful views of the ocean. The Moe Cottage features 2 Bedrooms (1 queen and 2 twins) and a pullout sleeper sofa. The screened in porch is located in the back of the cottage. It is a great spot to watch the sunset over the marsh and have evening family time under the twinkle lights.
The master bedroom looks out to the ocean and you will sleep listening to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The beach path is out the front door to the right. We estimate about 25 steps to the beach path.
The cottage is two floors. The kitchen, dining space and bathroom are on the first floor and the bedrooms and screened in porch are on the second floor.

The Blake is a vintage 1890's cottage set in the heart of Ocean Park, Maine, a seaside community founded in 1881. The cottage is two blocks from a beautiful sand beach on Saco Bay and is in walking distance to tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, gift shops, ice cream parlor, and food shops.

The house is a great family rental with wonderful wrap-around porch and two parking spaces. It is fully furnished except that guests MUST provide their own linens and towels. Rents by the week

The house is airy and laid back comfortable with two double and two twin bedrooms and shower bath upstairs. PLEASE NOTE: Guests provide their own LINENS and TOWELS for this rental. The main floor has a kitchen, separate dining room, living room with cable tv, and a game room perfect for games and puzzles. Dining is also available on the screened porch.

"Cozy" Beachwalk Bungalow is only 500 square feet! Accommodations include 2 queen size beds, a living room, one bath with shower and a fully equipped kitchenette. The property can sleep 4 adults comfortably. Recently purchased in May 2024, the cottage has been updated with ac/heat pumps. There is an electric 2-burner counter cooktop and a 6 in 1 electric oven. There is a refrigerator with ice cube trays. Other kitchenette essentials include a microwave, coffee maker, a single serve 2 in 1 kcup or ground coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, utensils, glassware and dishes. The living room and both bedrooms have Roku smart TVs. A back deck with an umbrella table and chairs is the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee. The yard is a shared space. There is a clothesline, propane gas grill, picnic tables, a small bike rack and a partially enclosed green space. Also provided for guests' use are beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, and beach umbrella.

Rose Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and outdoor shower. The front of the cottage has a lovely screened in porch with ocean views and a cozy seating area. This cottage is located just a few steps to the beach path which leads to the most stunning seven miles of beach in Maine.
The cottage has recently had all fresh paint, new beds, linens and furniture. Also recently added washer and dryer in kitchen and split heat/AC units.

The living room features a SMART TV with Spectrum Cable TV with NESN and seating for 8. This unit has a washer/dryer and hairdryers in each bathroom. There are three queen beds/bedrooms and one bedroom with two twins. The screened porch offers extra seating in the quiet of the back yard. The cottage is located only one block to 7 miles of sandy beach, stretching from Camp Ellis to Scarborough and is also adjacent to the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Adorable Ocean Park is only a short bike ride or walk away where you can enjoy cinnamon buns, pizza and ice cream. In addition to great birding, other outdoor activities include whale watching, exploring the Trails of Saco, local and island golf, biking along The Eastern Trail and shopping. Head to downtown Old Orchard Beach for family entertainment at Palace Playland. Portland is only a 20 minute drive away and the restaurant scene is amazing!
