Find your beach escape in this 2 bedroom + loft, 1 bath cottage in a newer gated community. Only a short drive to sandy Wells Beach, Drakes Island, and the famous Ogunquit beach, with a trolley stop located in front of the community. This is an end unit, which includes a small private yard and is directly across from the pool! There is wood flooring throughout the unit. A fully equipped kitchen with with stainless steel stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, front loading washer & dryer, keurig k-cup coffee maker, toaster oven, blender and all the dishes and supplies needed. In addition to a small dining room next to the kitchen that seats 4 people, the kitchen island can sit 6 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the guest bedroom has full size bunk beds with a twin trundle bed. The living room has a sofa and arm chair and the enclosed sunroom has a queen sleep sofa that can be closed off for privacy. This unit is equipped with 3 flat screen smart TVs with expanded HD cable and wireless internet, Mitsubishi A/C system and heat, ceiling fans in all rooms, a new grill and an iron & ironing board. Included with this rental is access to the clubhouse with a game room, fitness room, pool and hot tub, and fire pits. The maximum number of people allowed at this property is 6 with parking for 2 vehicles. There are no pets or smoking allowed at the property.

Blue Lobster cottage has everything you need for a perfect Maine vacation! It has the best location within Summer Village. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac bordering the woods and feels very private ( just two other cottages in its cluster). It is convenient to get to all pools and many of the other amenities. The cottage has a designer beach feel with soothing colors and superb details. It technically sleeps 6 but this cottage is more appropriate for 5 due to the square footage. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with newer hybrid mattress, a large bureau, and a wall mounted smart tv (no cable). The second bedroom has a full size bed with a twin trundle bed underneath. Both of the mattresses in the second bedroom are newer*. The beautiful living room has plenty of room for relaxing and watching tv. It features a pull out sleep sofa chair that opens to a twin size memory foam bed. You will also enjoy the large Smart TV, wall AC unit, and an assortment of books and games. The cheerful sun room has a stylish dining set for six with matching sideboard, and a reading chair. The updated bathroom features a tub/shower combination with a great rain shower head. There is a stackable washer and dryer in-unit for your laundry needs. The fully stocked kitchen has granite counters, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full sized appliances, and plenty of storage. There is also a small breakfast table for two. Every room has a new ceiling fan. The outdoor sitting area is wooded and quiet with Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. It is a perfect place to enjoy an afternoon beverage. Blue Lobster is an outstanding place for couples or families to stay while enjoying Southern Maine!

*Please note that linens and bath towels are not provided. You must either bring your own or there are rental services available. Pillows, bed quilts, blankets, throws, beach towels (4) and kitchen towels ARE provided. Also, the owners have a non-shedding Shihtzu mix dog at this cottage in the spring. Both bedrooms have queen size memory foam mattresses and there is a full size pullout in the living room sofa. The master bedroom has a desk with a monitor, keyboard, and smart tv with cable. The second bedroom has a smart tv as well.

Two parking spaces are available- one in front of the garage and one in the garage.

Congdon’s Donuts and food truck park are practically next door and there are lots of other great restaurants within walking distance including Billy’s Chowder house, The Steakhouse, and Batson River Fish Camp Brewery and Distillery.

Wells Beach is one mile and just one stoplight away and there are several other beaches in town as well. Wells is sandwiched between Ogunquit and Kennebunk/port for easy exploring.

Typically available for weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday, but sometimes shorter stays as well.

Robbie, the host was available for any questions and responded quickly. We ate at some nice seafood restaurants, found our way to Congdon Doughnuts --which was only a five-walk from our unit -- and visited the Rachel Carson Nature Reserve. One day we did make to the Wells beach, and lunched there. The only drawback of our stay was the lack of sun most days, not great beach weather. I would definitely stay here again."

The family pool is fun for all ages with a large heated pool, small kiddie splash pool, with plenty of tables, umbrellas, lounge chairs and gas grills for your use. The gorgeous Clubhouse is for adults ONLY (18 plus). WE took our first rental sabbatical in 2024 and are now hosting other rentals . But we learned so much about the resort, the high season and the beautiful surrounding area besides Halloween from previous years. We learned about the traffic and the ocean temperature during the hottest days!

We will have a lot of upgrades for next season including: new rug in the guest room. New Lamps. A Sofa Bed! New Chairs on the porch. new linens, a beautiful new picture my mom painted in 1976.. Keep checking back cause there will be more.
Note: NO LONGER a one week requirement! No longer a Saturday check in! We are offering a discount for a 7 night stay but not mandatory. Only 3 night minimum. Long Term available . In 100 years it will be beachfront property! new TVs, new Artwork, and New Paint. We will have new mulch and dedicated spot for golf cart if you need it. New gravel for 2 car parking. And..... wait for it, an available golf cart to rent.
The way our cottage is designed we have 2 places to dine and 2 places living space. ***Oh and a half bath that opens to the guest room which is very unique to our resort.
Our cottage sleeps 4 but we now have a queensize sofa bed, and a recliner. We have a table and chairs outside as well.

Brightly colored cottage situated in quiet wooded area. Cottage #125 has a great location within the Summer Village property. Conveniently located in front of the property it is just a short walk to both the Adult pool and Family Pool. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and TV, the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed. The bedrooms were both freshly painted for the 2024 rental season. The living room has a large curved sofa, seating for everyone, a large flat screen TV, blu ray player, and a DVD collection for movie night. The sun room has a queen-size pull-out sofa and dining for the family. The bathroom has an update beautiful walk-in shower with a glass door. The cottage also offers central air conditioning so it stay cool throughout. The kitchen is fully stocked with a small dinette for a couple.

You can relax at the cottage and enjoy the many resort amenities. Walk, jog, or bike the 1.8-mile Summer Village Boulevard for your morning exercise. Hop on the resort trolley and head to tennis, pickle ball, ball fields, pools, fitness center, game room, and putting green. There is outdoor seating, a propane grill, and a bike rack.

Here you will find a great spot in a fun family and adult oriented community. We offer 2 family pools, an adult only pool with hot tub. Tennis courts, kids playground, horseshoes, shuffleboard, basketball hoop. There is a covered pavillion for group meals, public grills, movies and planned activities for all ages.. At the back of the property is a large field to play in and have a startup softball game . So many more activities for all.
The cottage is in the back of the property which offers a quieter and more private area. There is a trolley that runs the loop of the property to drop you off at ideal spots for the various amenities.
You can't get a better location, Wells, Ogunquit, York, Kittery, and Kennebunk Port to name a few. Places to eat and shop that will have your holiday shopping done by summer. Plenty of beaches and trails are nearby also.

You can easily walk to the family pool or head in the other direction towards The Clubhouse. The Clubhouse has 3 heated pools (one of them indoors), an oversized jacuzzi, fitness center, impressive library with fireplace, great room with fireplace, putting green, bocce court, and The Sandbar, where you can enjoy drinks and snacks on the weekend. Seaglass also offers tennis courts, pickle ball courts and great views while walking through the Resort. It should be noted that any amenity located at The Clubhouse is strictly 18 and older. Although a golf cart is not needed due to the ideal location of the cottage on the property, it should be noted that there is only golf cart parking at the Clubhouse. Room has two large closets – plenty of room to tuck you suitcases and store your clothes during for your stay.

SECOND BEDROOM:

Has a brand new queen sized bed, plush comforters, extra pillows and blankets. A four Drawer Chest with a matching Taper Turned End Table and accessorized Coastal Themed Stacked Rocks table lamp completes the room. There is 42” Flat Smart Screen TV in the room. Relax under the ceiling fan that circulates air and provides a relaxed sleeping environment. There are two large closets – one contains the washer and dryer – so keep your suitcases light and do your laundry right at your vacation home for the week. *Note – if you are booking after 8/11/18 – there will be a new Queen Size bed and a new plush Sandy Shores mattress set in place of the twin trundle bed.

KITCHEN / DINING AREA:

There is an open concept kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with brand new and upgraded GE Stainless Steel appliances, microwave, glass top stove and dishwasher. There is plenty of room around the new 60”L x 42”W x 30”H Milled Pine Table and its matching 6 side chairs along with the two stools at the kitchen counter. Everyone will be comfortable as they enjoy meals, puzzles or games with family and friends. The stylish white kitchen cabinets are stocked with all the dishes, cookware and utensils that you will need to prepare and enjoy all of your meals. The Granite countertops provide plenty of prep and work area.

LIVING AREA:

The living area has a cathedral ceiling with a ceiling fan and is framed out with a series of easy to open windows. White wooden shades can be raised, lowered, and adjusted to allow in as much light as you desire. It is furnished with a new light pebble tan queen sized sofa bed that provides comfort both sitting and sleeping. There are teal, tan and cream colored swivel gliders that will pull you into a relaxed state. The 48” Smart Screen TV can be rotated into different positions for your viewing pleasure. There is a 47” Courthouse Clock mounted in the center of the back wall above the windows keeping you abreast of the time.

Both bathrooms were upgraded with Harmony Cabinets, Granite countertops and “Natural – Rustic Timber” flooring. Both have upgraded lightening, mirrors and towel bars. The full bath has a tub/shower with a curved shower rod and is decorated in a nautical theme. **Golf Cart with Charger Included! ***Pools and Hot tub will be available as of memorial weekend. Clubhouse amenities including gym, library, games (courts), shuffleboard, and Sandbar will be available starting May 1st (Sandbar is weekends only). Sandbar schedule is subject to change. Ask the front desk for the current schedule when booking. *During peak season (June 18th - August 20th) cottage rentals require a 7-night rental, from Saturday to Saturday. Anytime outside of peak season, there is only a 2-night minimum to book. Disclaimer: Please note that all 3 season cottages and 4 season cottages have a sunroom that is not heated. Great location: located on Route 1 with trolley access to area beaches and resort communities! Parking spaces for additional cars is available on site. Additionally, an on-site trolley system is available during peak seasons to take you around the well landscaped property, although it is also easily walkable. This unit is located in a prime location close to family pool, playground and outdoor pavilion.

Come visit in September or October ... a lovely time of year minus the crowds, but still many fun things to do and see.

- "The open layout with a comfortable solarium off the kitchen made visiting easy. The place was well supplied and very clean. Being close to multiple beaches and both Portland and Kittery was a bonus. Village was quiet with plenty of walking opportunities. If you need to contact manager, I suggest calling as it took a couple tries to get email response. Management was definitely responsive to our requests."

Welcome to “Sea-clusion”, Come and enjoy a weekend or the week in this newly updated attached studio. Sleeps up to four with a king size bed and a comfortable full size futon. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook your favorite meal or you may choose to enjoy one of the several options within walking distance. Relax after a day at the beach on the large enclosed porch or cook on your grill right outside the front door. Kayaks are right at the marina. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The cottage is located on a quiet neighborhood, near many beaches, away from traffic. you can bike or walk to the Harbor. At the Harbor you will see two restaurants, beautiful views of marshes and ocean, a playground, picnic pavilion, kayak rentals, fishing, crabbing, and a small beach. Trolley stops that can bring you to shops, mini golf, tennis courts, and nearby beaches.
Ogunquit, with the magnificent Marginal Way, and Kennebunkport are only a few miles away.

The space
The cottage is ideal for a family of 4. There is room to sleep six, but only for a short stay, as the cottage is small.
There is a lovely, enclosed porch, a great place to relax after a busy day of activities.

The bedrooms are walk throughs; they do not have separate entrances.

The sitting area has a convertible love seat. Extra sleeping space for 1 or maybe 2. The linen is not supplied. You need to bring your own sheets.

Other things to note
1. We do offer linens, blankets and pillows, except for the love seat. unfortunately, we do not offer towels; towels disappear among some guests.
2. Before leaving, please remove all bagged garbage, and place it in the dumpster, located across the yard in back of the cottage, enclosed in a white lattice with green trim.
Make sure the garbage is bagged and tied.
3. If you move the furniture or utensils, please, return them as you found them.
If you use the grill, please clean it after each use.
4. Parking is only available in front of Appledore cottage. The cottages are numbered.....we are #1, there is room for 2 compact cars or 1 SUV…Any additional cars will have to find parking elsewhere.

The cottage comes equipped with everything one might need for a long weekend, family getaway or a girls night. There's a grill, plenty of space and a screened in three season porch you can enjoy late into the evening.

Other things to note
The unit is on a campus, the Seagull resort, and there are several other cottages available for rent, primarily weekly in the summertime. Having said that, be aware that other travelers will be in close proximity to you while you stay with us.

I've spent the summers in Wells each year with my family my entire life and knew this was the place I wanted to sink my feet into. With some of the most beautiful beaches (in my humble opinion) and the close knitted community, Wells has a charm that will make it hard to leave!

Cottage #225 is a duplex unit. The entrance of cottage 225 leads you into the beautifully decorated porch lounge area furnished with a plush sectional, ottomans, side tables, lamps, ceiling fan, and flat screen TV. Through the sliding doors you will enter into the open concept living/dining room area. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, and a counter-top flat screen TV. The dining area provides seating for 4 and the living room area provides a cozy chaise sectional. Just past the kitchen is the bathroom and a closet where the stackable washer/dryer is housed. The bathroom is full size with a stand up shower and will be fully furnished for your use! Beyond that is the rear exit where the outdoor entertaining area is equipped with outdoor umbrella, table, and grill ! You will definitely feel like you're in the Maine woods in this nice, private, wooded backyard! In both bedrooms, enjoy the plush queen size bed beneath the soothing breeze of the ceiling fan. Sit back, relax and enjoy the "Sea-renity" Cottage that Seaglass Village has to offer. Located in Maine's first adult-focused and gated community, gives you the opportunity to enjoy your vacation to the absolute fullest. When you first enter the cottage you will love the feel of the bright and breezy living room area. There is a comfortable love seat and recliner, TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi connection here. The sunroom has large windows on all three sides and a sitting table with 4 chairs. The sofa in this room offers a pull-out couch for additional sleeping accommodations. The kitchen, which includes luxury cabinets, granite counter tops, and all stainless-steel appliances is fully equipped with everything and more you will need to make a full course meal or just a quick snack. There are three additional bar stools for seating in the kitchen located right next to the pantry which offers ample storage space. The master bedroom backs up to the relaxing view of the Maine woods. Sleep and dream on the very comfortable queen size bed after a fun day enjoying Maine coast. There is plenty of closet space, a dresser, and flat screen TV provided. For your comfort and privacy, there is an additional half bath located in the master bedroom. The second bedroom also backs up to the Maine woods and features a twin over full bunk bed with a seaside color scheme, and again plenty of closet space, a dresser and flat screen TV is provided. The full bath is uniquely decorated with granite counter tops, a full size tub and equipped with a hair dryer, and plenty of storage. This is also where you will find a full-size washer and dryer, should you need to do a load of laundry during your stay. You can unwind in our fully landscaped and secluded back yard in the woods where there is a BBQ, patio table and plenty of seating. Great for enjoying your coffee in the morning, relaxing with a good book in the afternoon, or having your favorite beverage under the stars at night. Our cottage is located towards the back of the property where it is quiet, and walking distance to the tennis courts. Not fond of walking? A golf cart is included with your rental. MUST have a valid Driver's License to drive the golf cart. The family pool is fun for all ages with a large heated pool, small kiddie splash pool, with plenty of tables, umbrellas, lounge chairs and gas grills for your use. The gorgeous Clubhouse is for adults ONLY (18 plus). The Clubhouse amenities include a fully stocked bar, gym, library, great room, pavilion for events, a large outdoor heated salt-water pool with plenty of lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas, gas grills for your use, a lap pool, water resistant pool, hot tub, fire pit area, putting green and much more! Even though our cottage has a fully equipped kitchen you may not want to cook, which will be no problem since there are many amazing restaurants in the area. You are sure to find something close by with the delicious food that Wells Beach is famous for, and priced to fit any budget. There is so much to see and do in and around Wells, whether you want to spend your days at the beach, check out the charming nearby towns and coves, visit the unique shops, go antiquing, or just want to sit, relax, and enjoy the many Seaglass resort amenities. *No smoking, no pets.** *Pools and Hot tub will be available as of memorial weekend. Relax in this calming 2-bedroom cottage, located in Seaglass Village Cottages Resort. This fully stocked cottage has a fully stocked kitchen, cathedral ceilings, large windows on 3 walls, brand new, oversized, comfy furniture (pictures of the new furniture will be posted in the spring), a rocking chair to cozy up and read a book or games to play with the family. You'll love sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful flowers and landscaping or taking a leisurely ride on the golf cart.

The space
Your visit to Seaglass Village can be as active or restful as you want it to be. This cozy cottage is perfectly situated in-between our two main pool areas . You can easily walk to the family pool or head in the other direction towards The Clubhouse. The Clubhouse has 3 heated pools (one of them indoors), an oversized jacuzzi, fitness center, impressive library with fireplace, great room with fireplace, putting green, bocce court, and The Sandbar, where you can enjoy drinks and snacks on the weekend. Seaglass also offers tennis courts, pickle ball courts and great views while walking through the Resort. It should be noted that any amenity located at The Clubhouse is strictly 18 and older. Although a golf cart is not needed due to the ideal location of the cottage on the property, it should be noted that there is only golf cart parking at the Clubhouse. There are 2 parking spots for handicap accessible vehicles only. Golf carts are available for rent at the Front Desk. When approaching the cottage, the first thing you will see is a beautifully landscaped yard boasting a patio set and Adirondack chairs to chill out in the abundance of shade provided, after a long day of fun in the sun. A propane gas grill is provided as well as extra chairs if you have guests coming for a visit. Upon entering the front door you will notice the impressive open feeling of the cathedral ceiling and large windows on 3 walls. It has a queen sized sofa sleeper (a brand new one has been ordered for next season) and an oversized comfy chair (also new) that face a 42" flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. It also includes small appliances such as a Keurig, a 4-slice toaster, blender and a crock pot. Everything you could possibly need is provided if you choose to stay in and eat. Off the kitchen and porch is another family area featuring a dining table for six and a matching hutch for extra storage. Another comfortable chair and rocking chair for reading or relaxing is included in this room. Games are stored in the large chest. The master bedroom backs up to Maine conservation land for a quiet night's sleep. A queen-sized bed, full size bureau, nightstand with alarm clock and large double closet provide ample space for storing belongings and luggage. This room also has a 32" flat screen TV and two windows for a great cross breeze. The second bedroom has calming blue walls with a comfortable queen size bed. This room also backs up to the woods. It includes two nightstands, alarm clock, a full-size bureau, two windows and a large closet. The bathroom is spacious with an oversized vanity and walk-in shower. There is also a stackable washer and dryer. This cottage has an additional twin size cot available. Staying in Southern Maine offers so many activities, beautiful beaches as close as 1.5 miles away, shopping, antiquing, eating out at the numerous restaurants in the area, and just enjoying the beautiful weather that Maine has to offer. Cottage 803 is a spacious, cheery cottage in a typical blue and yellow Maine nautical decor, surrounded by large trees and flowering shrubs, located in a quiet cull the sac, around the corner from the tennis court and a few minutes' walk from the clubhouse, The cottage sleeps 4 comfortably with a master bedroom (queen bed, large closet, chest of drawers, night stands, TV, private half bathroom), second bedroom (access to full bathroom in middle of cottage, double bed, night stand, chest of drawers, TV, closet, washer/dryer), large dining and lounging area with large TV (dining table sitting 6, two lounge chairs), large kitchen area with granite countertops (sitting 2 for breakfast), and large solarium living room (adjacent to kitchen and dining area, with large couch, two lounge chairs, 4 ottomans and large coffee table, and large TV). The cottage has great, free Wi-Fi that is also accessible from the large outside dining area with gas grill, picnic table (sits 6) and two outside lounge chairs. Walking trails in the Seaglass Village complex allow you to enjoy the beautiful nature sounds, while being a couple of miles from Wells Beach, adjacent to fun rides and miniature golf for the kids, along with a broad range of wonderful dining experiences along U.S. route 1, You will also be a couple of miles away from the best in movies, summer theatre and shopping in southern Maine.
