Find your beach escape in this 2 bedroom + loft, 1 bath cottage in a newer gated community. Only a short drive to sandy Wells Beach, Drakes Island, and the famous Ogunquit beach, with a trolley stop located in front of the community. This is an end unit, which includes a small private yard and is directly across from the pool! There is wood flooring throughout the unit. A fully equipped kitchen with with stainless steel stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, front loading washer & dryer, keurig k-cup coffee maker, toaster oven, blender and all the dishes and supplies needed. In addition to a small dining room next to the kitchen that seats 4 people, the kitchen island can sit 6 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the guest bedroom has full size bunk beds with a twin trundle bed. The living room has a sofa and arm chair and the enclosed sunroom has a queen sleep sofa that can be closed off for privacy. This unit is equipped with 3 flat screen smart TVs with expanded HD cable and wireless internet, Mitsubishi A/C system and heat, ceiling fans in all rooms, a new grill and an iron & ironing board. Included with this rental is access to the clubhouse with a game room, fitness room, pool and hot tub, and fire pits. The maximum number of people allowed at this property is 6 with parking for 2 vehicles. There are no pets or smoking allowed at the property.

Blue Lobster cottage has everything you need for a perfect Maine vacation! It has the best location within Summer Village. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac bordering the woods and feels very private ( just two other cottages in its cluster). It is convenient to get to all pools and many of the other amenities. The cottage has a designer beach feel with soothing colors and superb details. It technically sleeps 6 but this cottage is more appropriate for 5 due to the square footage. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with newer hybrid mattress, a large bureau, and a wall mounted smart tv (no cable). The second bedroom has a full size bed with a twin trundle bed underneath. Both of the mattresses in the second bedroom are newer*. The beautiful living room has plenty of room for relaxing and watching tv. It features a pull out sleep sofa chair that opens to a twin size memory foam bed. You will also enjoy the large Smart TV, wall AC unit, and an assortment of books and games. The cheerful sun room has a stylish dining set for six with matching sideboard, and a reading chair. The updated bathroom features a tub/shower combination with a great rain shower head. There is a stackable washer and dryer in-unit for your laundry needs. The fully stocked kitchen has granite counters, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full sized appliances, and plenty of storage. There is also a small breakfast table for two. Every room has a new ceiling fan. The outdoor sitting area is wooded and quiet with Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. It is a perfect place to enjoy an afternoon beverage. Blue Lobster is an outstanding place for couples or families to stay while enjoying Southern Maine!

*Please note that linens and bath towels are not provided. You must either bring your own or there are rental services available. Pillows, bed quilts, blankets, throws, beach towels (4) and kitchen towels ARE provided. Also, the owners have a non-shedding Shihtzu mix dog at this cottage in the spring. There is a deep cleaning down before renters arrive.

Both bedrooms have queen size memory foam mattresses and there is a full size pullout in the living room sofa. The master bedroom has a desk with a monitor, keyboard, and smart tv with cable. The second bedroom has a smart tv as well.

Two parking spaces are available- one in front of the garage and one in the garage.

Congdon’s Donuts and food truck park are practically next door and there are lots of other great restaurants within walking distance including Billy’s Chowder house, The Steakhouse, and Batson River Fish Camp Brewery and Distillery.

Wells Beach is one mile and just one stoplight away and there are several other beaches in town as well. Wells is sandwiched between Ogunquit and Kennebunk/port for easy exploring.

Typically available for weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday, but sometimes shorter stays as well.

Robbie, the host was available for any questions and responded quickly. We ate at some nice seafood restaurants, found our way to Congdon Doughnuts --which was only a five-walk from our unit -- and visited the Rachel Carson Nature Reserve. One day we did make to the Wells beach, and lunched there. The only drawback of our stay was the lack of sun most days, not great beach weather. I would definitely stay here again."

The family pool is fun for all ages with a large heated pool, small kiddie splash pool, with plenty of tables, umbrellas, lounge chairs and gas grills for your use. The gorgeous Clubhouse is for adults ONLY (18 plus). Clubhouse amenities including gym, library, games (courts), shuffleboard, and Sandbar will be available starting May 1st (Sandbar is weekends only). Sandbar schedule is subject to change. Ask the front desk for the current schedule when booking. *During peak season (June 18th - August 20th) cottage rentals require a 7-night rental, from Saturday to Saturday. Anytime outside of peak season, there is only a 2-night minimum to book. Disclaimer: Please note that all 3 season cottages and 4 season cottages have a sunroom that is not heated. During the colder months of September-May, it may be chilly in the sunroom/t.v. room, we want to advise you of this as we do not provide extra heating. All 4 season cottages will only be 4-person in the winter months.
Enjoy this 2-bedroom cottage, located toward the back of Seaglass Village property. This cottage has a relaxing a quite back yard, up against the wood line. This cottage offers a queen bed in the master, a bunk bed (twin over full) in the 2nd bedroom, and a pull-out sofa on the 3 seasons porch. It also includes a golf cart. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen or the grill in the backyard. No matter what you decide to do for dinner, we've got you covered. Don't forget to check out all the amenities. All amenities that are located at the Clubhouse are 18+. For all other amenities, kids must be accompanied by an adult under the age of 13.

Update 9/2025 ALMOST BEACHFRONT IS BACK!
WE took our first rental sabbatical in 2024 and are now hosting other rentals . But we learned so much about the resort, the high season and the beautiful surrounding area besides Halloween from previous years. We learned about the traffic and the ocean temperature during the hottest days!

We will have a lot of upgrades for next season including: new rug in the guest room. New Lamps. A Sofa Bed! New Chairs on the porch. new linens, a beautiful new picture my mom painted in 1976.. Keep checking back cause there will be more.
Note: NO LONGER a one week requirement! No longer a Saturday check in! We are offering a discount for a 7 night stay but not mandatory. Only 3 night minimum. Long Term available . In 100 years it will be beachfront property! new TVs, new Artwork, and New Paint. We will have new mulch and dedicated spot for golf cart if you need it. New gravel for 2 car parking. And..... wait for it, an available golf cart to rent.
The way our cottage is designed we have 2 places to dine and 2 places living space. ***Oh and a half bath that opens to the guest room which is very unique to our resort.
Our cottage sleeps 4 but we now have a queensize sofa bed, and a recliner. We have a table and chairs outside as well.
