If you are looking for one of the best Wells Beach locations available, than look no farther. Our two bedroom home sleeps six and is right on Wells Beach. The home features unobstructed 180 degree ocean views and door to beach access. Wake up at the ocean each day of your well earned vacation. The sun drenched patio sits right at the edge of the beach. Catch some rays on the sand or just hang out on the huge patio. If you need a little less sun, move up to the covered porch and watch the waves with a cocktail in hand. The entire interior of this home was updated in the early 2000's (no circa 1920 beach house interior at this beach house). All the conceivable amenities of the perfect beach house come with this home. A 1/2 bathroom upstairs and a full bathroom downstairs makes the living experience as convenient as it gets. TV's in the bedrooms as well as the main living area add to the relaxing atmosphere. Parking, while a huge problem for those in 1 parking spot beach houses, is not an issue here. The water from the ocean was crystal and clean, beautiful water on Wells beach! The location was great. Very safe. The neighbors and people in Wells Beach were friendly. Super chill. There was a little arcade down the end of our street going into town that the kids loved. Ogunquit (7 min away) and Kennebunkport (20 min away) had tons of cute shops and restaurants. Right out of a book. There was a grocery store 3 minutes away. All in all a wonderful trip. You can’t beat the view and beach. - "Super convenient location and it was a nice stay. It is a smaller place but that is conveyed in the pictures. We were making a road trip and found this stop off a nice one. The view from the porch is why we stayed there, the pics do not do it justice. There are two large rockers that we sat in and enjoyed the view. The host was the kindest person too. - "It was clean and tidy...if tiny...but it had what we needed and served our needs. Lovely area." - "It was exactly what I hoped for. I had been feeling so drained and burned out so I rented this little space for a week. When I walked in the colors were cheerful and the place comfortable. A mile to the beach, less than a half mile to grocery stores to get anything I needed. Only caveat- there was no place to store the food I brought/bought for my extended stay so I had to organize it all on the stove top... there also was no place to put recyclables so I got a garbage bag to take all my recyclable trash and brought it back home with me. Also note- the bed felt rock hard, however, it's solid foam so that is due to the temperature being cold (December). I adjusted the super convenient thermostats and within a short time the mattress "thawed" and it would form to my body- it was good for my back, so that helped too. The issue I faced is I didn't know the "check in" with the front office had a time limit. I got there (unknowingly) and hour after their office closed- thankfully the manager had been working late and was about to leave when I showed up. He was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. I would rent this place again."

I stay here 3 weeks every summer, but I have a conflict with my last week of timeshare week this year. The resort is just over a mile from Wells Beach, and it's a great time to be there, as the crowds are gone and the ocean water is about as warm as southern Maine water gets.

The first-floor kitchen has a dishwasher, a full-sized refrigerator, stove, and a dining table with 6 chairs. Kitchen cabinets hold service for six, pots and pans, and some baking utensils. A short hallway leads to a living room, with a sofa bed and other seating. Off the hall is a ½ bath (toilet and sink) and a coat/utility closet. The living room slider opens to an outdoor patio with a table and chairs. The outdoor pool is heated, in season, and the hot tub is just steps away.

On the second floor, there are two queen bedrooms, each with a TV, air-conditioner, screened sliding glass door, and a full bathroom between the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large porch with sunrise views of the marshland and the ocean. The stairs across from the bathroom go to the 3rd floor loft, with a Queen bed, sofa, TV, and a slider to a small porch, also with an easterly view.

Services for guests include free parking, gas grills, and Wi-Fi. There is a coin-operated laundry room at the corner of the building. You will need to bring your own beach towels, but room towels and bed linens are supplied, as are towels for use at the pool. The resort area is well maintained and has a fenced-in pool area including a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub, and deck with chairs, tables, and umbrellas.

We have a dog (white lab) who is very enthusiastic and friendly with people. After greeting you and getting to know you, she'll keep to herself. We live in the house (we both have jobs, so will be in and out, but often gone.). While there, we will try to give you privacy. Will be here to greet you when you arrive, and assist you during your stay! We are eager to help you on your vacation experience as we know the best all of New England intimately. Text messaging to us anytime of the day is welcomed.

Other things to note
This is not a private studio, or apartment. The rooms are set on one side of the house (Cape style home), and access is through our front door. (We use side door.) Of course, there is "Lacie" our very sweet and friendly dog. She is a white lab breed, who's goal in life is to greet and kiss everyone she meets. If you are allergic to dogs, bring allergy medicine!, if not, you'll love to meet our lovable Lacie.

If you have detergent allergies or special needs, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to accommodate if possible. All linens, pillows are cleaned and sanitized after each visit.
