Lovely private entrance suite on the bay, a beautiful living room with a fireplace, for winter use. An igloo outside on the deck from November till May, complete with an electric heating fireplace. So cozy and charming. A very large bedroom with king size bed and a view of the bay, a fabulous bathroom and double shower. A private patio with great lighting under the pergola. This year we have added an outdoor kitchen. You’ll have an area under a roof to cook and sit having a meal. Kitchen is open for summer till late fall. Plus unit comes complete with great internet, coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge, and microwave.You will be delighted to find home made breakfast treats upon your arrival. Only minutes to Portsmouth, University of New Hampshire, Kittery Maine and the outlet shopping. NH and Maine beaches. Enjoy the outdoor hot shower and use of kayaks. The noise is not disruptive but could be for a light sleeper. The full-size bed easily converts to a couch while the dining nook easily converts to a twin bed. So if you are 2 travelers who are single or 2 friends, it may be tight but you have 2 sleeping options! The kitchenette has a sink, toaster oven, mini fridge, coffee maker and the essentials for a home-base retreat. The outside grill is great for a burger or whipping up breakfast over a cast iron pan.

- "We were looking for a last minute property in Dover and was very pleased to find this place. Clean and updated. Walking distance to food and entertainment. " - "Although the pictures were a bit misleading (some shown on the site say "property grounds" and "exterior of the property", I was familiar with the area and knew that the train station was not the exterior of any apartment nor was the "Cocheco River Walk" part of the property grounds. Henry Law Park is very close, but it's not the "property grounds". I arrived on an extremely hot afternoon and figured looking at the pictures that the unit was most likely on 2nd floor. However, it turned out to be on the 3rd floor, up 28 steps, and it was pretty hot. That might be something that the host may want to mention in the description (or maybe I missed it) in the event that older people or people with a disability or even on crutches might not be able to manage. Also, if people are traveling with pets, that could be an issue for some older animals. However, the unit itself is adorable. Loved the offering of teas and coffees, and if you want to cook there was a great selection of dishes, utensils and pans. I found the bed extremely comfortable. The place was immaculate. I accidently locked myself out early one AM and the property manager arrived with a key within 40 minutes. I was very grateful. The location was quiet and in great walking distance to everything in downtown Dover. Would recommend."

The space of this apartment is very small but it has everything you need compacted into a space to provide a functional stay but guests should know if you don’t like tight spaces this isn’t the place for you. It’s a first floor apartment so there are no stairs in the apartment and only a couple stairs required to use to get through the front of the building. The apartment is also in an older building and is nothing fancy. When booking this place it’s more for the location than it is the space.

The living room and kitchen are a part of the same room. All kitchen appliances are there to do what you need to do for cooking. The living room has a small love seat and a chair that can be used for the pull up work space or to watch tv. The furniture gets the job done for what you need to do but is also small and guests should not have high expectations for the furniture of the living room.

The bedroom features a king size memory foam mattress. It is the same mattress I use at all my properties and I get a lot of positive feedback about how comfortable it is. The bedroom has a closet that can be used for clothing storage.

There is a full bathroom that is also small but has a tub/shower combination and will be stocked with all the supplies you need

As soon as you step foot in this 2nd-floor apartment, you're greeted by the open-concept living area. The living room and the kitchen are the same room. And the entire apartment is compacted into a very small space. Everything is there to provide a quality functional stay but guests please know that the space is small and nothing fancy!

Our goal is to create a welcoming environment, provide a 5 star stay, where guests leave as friends & want to return. We are located on a beautiful tidal river, convenient to Portsmouth, Dover, UNH, & Maine. Your private bedroom is just inside the front door, facing the street and Rt 16. The entrance & common areas are shared with the host and upstairs tenant. The shared bath is across the hall.

The space
Your 1st floor private bedroom is on the main living area of the house. It is located just inside of the front door, with a shared bathroom across the hall. There is a closet and shelving for shorter stay storage. The house has central AC and there is also a window fan. There will be noise from traffic, hosts, other guests and dogs. We are close to Rt 16, and the room is supplied with fans and a white noise machine for those who . are noise sensitive.
Guests love our view, welcoming environment and serenity that our waterfront home provides.

Guest access
You are renting a 1st floor private bedroom and shared bath. The kitchen is available, upon request, if coordinated with the host. The other common areas are the living room, dining room and upper deck. The dock is seasonal and kayaks & paddleboard are available to those with experience. I also have an E-bike you can borrow to explore the area around Little Bay & Dover Point.

We introduce guests to the house and are available by text or phone during your stay.

Other things to note
The room is hosted by Deena. She is available by phone or text to handle any questions or issues you may have. Her private area includes the downstairs floor and bathroom. Her goal is to give all her guests a 5-star experience. If something is not up to par or she can improve your experience, PLEASE let her know so she can address it ASAP.
To access the river, we ask that you walk around the outside of the house instead of through our private area. The spiral staircase connecting the main level to the bottom level is open and without sound or privacy barriers.
Dogs are on site and typically share the main part of the house. If this is an issue, we can keep them on the lower level during your stay. Our 35 pound retrievers are friendly but will bark to alert us to your arrival and then settle down. They also shed, which has been an issue for some guests, so please keep this in mind before booking.

My place is great for travel nursing, work from home, university, or solo adventure. It's 2min to the hospital, 5min to UNH, 13min to Portsmouth, and walking distance to Downtown Dover. There is a standing desk at the end of the bed with a large Smart TV which doubles as an extended monitor for docking.

It's exceptionally clean, comfy, and well-appointed. You can enjoy ambiance, outdoor space, professional/personal atmosphere, Nectar mattress and down comforter!

Welcome to our home! We live in a charming neighborhood just next to Dover's historic district. We're walking distance to the elementary school, library, children's museum and downtown Dover. We're also right near the highway - close enough that you can easily get to UNH or elsewhere, but far enough that you won't hear it.

The guest suite has a private access, and all the amenities for a short or long-term stay, including a fully functional and well stocked kitchen and full bath.

If you have young children we've got you covered - pack&play, toddler mattress, clip-on "sassy seat" high chair, booster seat, etc all available on request!

Guest access
The guest suite is very private - you'll have your own entrance, your own kitchen, your own bathroom. There is no access to the rest of the house. Guests are welcome to enjoy our backyard and swing set.

Quiet 3 BED/2 BATH home on the south end of Dover. Located on a dead end street but near the Spaulding Tpk. Comfy 2nd floor room with very comfortable twin bed. Nicer 100% cotton bedding for comfort. Neighborhood is perfect for an evening stroll. Close to UNH and WD/ Mass General Hospital, 6 miles to Portsmouth. Walking distance to Dunkins, Irving gas/grocery. The beaches are a short drive. 2 stops to UNH on the Wildcat Bus. Dog friendly and very good AC in the room. Be my guest!

The bedroom itself has plenty of room for a traveler, with a dresser, nightstand and a deep closet with hangers.. The room has a lock on the door. Peaceful house. FYI - there is one cat on the property...She goes in/out at will. There is a comfy woodstove in the living room for those chilly nights and a fire pit if you enjoy cocktailing outside on the patio.

My place is great for travel nursing, work from home, university, or solo adventure. It's 2min to the hospital, 5min to UNH, 13min to Portsmouth, and walking distance to Downtown Dover. There is a standing desk at the end of the bed with a large Smart TV which doubles as an extended monitor for docking.

It's exceptionally clean, comfy, and well-appointed. You can enjoy ambiance, outdoor space, professional/personal atmosphere, Nectar mattress and down comforter!

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Only 10 minutes from downtown Portsmouth, Dover and Durham, and 5 from the highway. The two rooms are comfortable with one king and one queen. Each has a private TV with cable, HBO, Netflix and of course WiFi.

The home is located on a fairly quiet road with wonderful neighbors and yet 10 minutes from downtown Portsmouth or Durham and 15 from the beach. It’s a two bedroom house, full kitchen, living room, dining area and really wonderful backyard with two sitting areas. One inside the screened porch and the other outside on the patio. There is also a saltwater pool and the yard is full fenced in for those families bringing their dogs.

A spacious one bedroom apartment set in a quiet neighborhood! Guests enjoy a private entrance and free off-street parking. An easy drive to UNH (10 minutes), Portsmouth (15 minutes), the beach (25 minutes) and the mountains (45-60 minutes).

The bedroom is fully renovated and has been soundproofed while the living room has not. Ceilings are 6'8" high. We live upstairs and have a boy (8) and a girl (2). We are a friendly family and want both of our experiences to be honest and happy.

The space
The space of this apartment is very small but it has everything you need compacted into a space to provide a functional stay but guests should know if you don’t like tight spaces this isn’t the place for you. It’s a first floor apartment so there are no stairs in the apartment and only a couple stairs required to use to get through the front of the building. The apartment is also in an older building and is nothing fancy. When booking this place it’s more for the location than it is the space.

The living room and kitchen are a part of the same room. All kitchen appliances are there to do what you need to do for cooking. The living room has a small love seat and a chair that can be used for the pull up work space or to watch tv. The furniture gets the job done for what you need to do but is also small and guests should not have high expectations for the furniture of the living room.

The bedroom features a king size memory foam mattress. It is the same mattress I use at all my properties and I get a lot of positive feedback about how comfortable it is. The bedroom has a closet that can be used for clothing storage.

There is a full bathroom that is also small but has a tub/shower combination and will be stocked with all the supplies you need

This Vintage Camper is a newly renovated relic in downtown Dover. You can walk to Henry Law Park in 6min or any downtown restaurants & shops under 10min. There's updated plumbing, electric and fresh paint. It has a dining nook, full-size bed, toilet, and mini kitchen. There's an outdoor grill, fire pit, and outdoor hot water shower– unlike boondocking, this vintage camper rests in a private, fenced-in glampyard oasis with water, electric and convenient parking.

The space
The full-size bed easily converts to a couch while the dining nook easily converts to a twin bed. So if you are 2 travelers who are single or 2 friends, it may be tight but you have 2 sleeping options! The kitchenette has a sink, toaster oven, mini fridge, coffee maker and the essentials for a home-base retreat. The bathroom has a toilet and door for privacy. The outside grill is great for a burger or whipping up breakfast over a cast iron pan.

You'll have access to the entire side yard– fire pit area, camper, outdoor seating, grill, outdoor shower, games. We often use the firepit too.

Our home is tucked away off of Washington Street and feels secluded though we are walking distance to downtown Dover. Our home was built as a warehouse 100 years ago and was converted to a residence in 2009. The apartment has a separate entrance from the rest of the house and has a private deck. The space is light and airy, both rustic and contemporary, with old floors and exposed rafters. We are a short walk to restaurants and bars, and the train to Boston or Portland, Maine.

The space
The apartment is quite spacious for a one-bedroom with a full kitchen that has most of what you'll need to put a meal together. The sleep sofa has a queen sized memory foam mattress. The apartment has a private deck. Guests have exclusive use of a separate laundry on the ground floor, and also use of an elliptical exercise machine (shared). Guests are welcome to use our larger patio and grill.

There are no laundry facilities in the apartment but if you really need to you can use our washer / dryer.

Other things to note
The Downeaster Train that runs between Boston and Portland passes through the woods behind the house, and also frieght trains. We love the trains, and most of our guest do as well. Occasionally, the freight trains are noisy.

ABUNDANT PARKING / FREE OVERNIGHT PARKING/STAIRS REQUIRED: You'll have one designated off-street parking spot on the property. There's also plenty of metered parking right outside of the apartment (Free Overnight Parking! – Between 8pm and 9am. And Free Parking on Sundays!). If having difficulty finding a suitable spot, the Train Station offers an entire parking lot of additional public spaces … just one block away! For long-term guests, the Train Station offers two-week unlimited parking passes for $15-$20!

DOVER TRAIN STATION: Amtrak Downeaster stops in Dover allowing for train travel to the city from Boston and Portland, or back and forth.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place located just a half mile from the downtown.

The space
Welcome to this newly completed secondary unit that includes a full kitchen, kitchen island, living space, desk, and bedroom. I want to provide a comfortable and stylish setting for guests that would rival some hotels while making you feel like you are home.

While here, you relax on the patio and light up the fire pit for an evening coffee or refreshment. I store it during the winter, but I can take it out if you enjoy the bitter frost!

Additionally, I listed the parking as “on street” just to be fair and not to appear deceitful. You are more than welcome to utilize the driveway as long as you let me know so my car does not get blocked in for your stay. Guests staying for more than a week can also utilize my washer/dryer for a load or two but it’s on the top floor so I just need a heads up.

PS: my dog is super friendly. You’re welcome to request a visit from him!

On-street parking is readily available and free. You can park on the right side of my driveway as long as you let me know before so I can prepare.

I am within walking distance to the local bus (including UNH), the train station, and downtown. I highly recommend walking to downtown (0.5 miles) and driving everywhere else.

Other things to note
The living area is located directly next to the room housing the heater/furnace (walled off, of course), which some might find distracting. I tested the noise and was able to comfortably watch tv. I find it no different than most heaters or AC units in a hotel.

Quiet cozy suite close to downtown, highway & beaches. Suite has hardwood floors, climate control & wifi. Living room is equipped with comfy chairs, side tables & smart/cable tv. Spacious bathroom with big shower, ironing board, iron & washer & dryer as well as towels. Bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, night table & linens. Walk in closet with ample storage for clothes. Kitchenette is complete with table, chairs, sink, mini fridge, toaster oven, Keurig, coffee pods, silverware & dishes.
