Close to everything & on the Mousam River's edge is our newly renovated guest suite surrounded by beautiful gardens. The unit has its own entrance in the back of our home with a private seating area that looks out over the river. The suite has LR/kitchen area (Queen sofa bed), one bedroom with King size bed and one bath with shower. Home is located 10 minute walk from downtown Kennebunk. The Kennebunk beach is a 4.5 mile drive. Portland is a 30 minute drive.

Guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks and enjoy time on the river. We have a dock for easy access, though water levels can vary depending on the season and rainfall, so launching may not always be ideal directly from the dock.

The house is very big and separated into different units which allowed for privacy for everyone. Sherry was always available via text & answered any questions, including great suggestions for restaurants, promptly. Remember that the unit has no stove but you can bbq if you wish outside. The hot tub was great, especially on a rainy evening when walking around the town was out of the question. My only suggestion would be the unit could use a cutlery set or at least steak knives. This property is located in Kennebunk, not Kennebunkport so you have to drive if you're heading to Kennebunkport, which is just a few miles away. But Kennebunk itself is just a stones throw away with great restaurants, an awesome bowling alley with award winning menu & lots of antique and/or vintage shops walking & driving distance on the main strip. The locations is excellent as it allows for you to visit all the major town attractions in minutes. Great host, great location, great environment & great price."

My place is in walking distance to the city center, great views, parks and the beach. You’ll love my studio apartment because of the coziness, the light, and the kitchenette. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). The apartment is in walking distance to Dock Square, Restaurants, Bars and beaches. Our spacious suite with private bath is comfortable, well appointed, close to everything. 1 mile to the beach. Many extras included ! The suite consists of a large studio, with private bath. The second room rents for $55 per night for a second or third person in the group and shares the bath.

The space
SPACIOUS AND WELL APPOINTED SUITE WHICH CONSISTS OF A LARGE STUDIO FOR TWO WITH PRIVATE BATH. THERE IS ALSO A SECOND BEDROOM WHICH RENTS FOR AN ADDITIONAL$55 PER NIGHT FOR A THIRD PERSON, WHO IS PART OF THE SAME GROUP. THE SECOND BEDROOM IS ACROSS THE HALL and SHARES THE BATH. THE BATH IS IN THE HALLWAY BETWEEN THE TWO ROOMS.

Our lovely suite provides the warm and inviting feel of an inn at a much more affordable price. We enjoy providing a personal touch, taking good care of our guests and offering helpful suggestions/directions/information.

The suite is in our home, with an exclusive entrance to the guest area. It is in a quiet location just 1 mile to Kennebunk Beach and 2 miles to Dock Square in Kennebunkport. The studio has a queen bed and a leather sofa in a sitting area. The kitchen corner has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric kettle, and all necessary serving/cooking items .There is no cooktop in the studio but there is an outdoor gas grill. Other amenities: very good WiFi, a TV with a Roku, DVD/CD player, large selection of DVDs, A/C and ceiling fan, board games and puzzles, books, hairdryer, toiletries, and a private bath with a large walk in shower. The second bedroom which is across the hall has a double bed with sitting area. Please note: the second bedroom does not have AC but has a ceiling fan and a regular fan.
All linens are provided.
Guests can also cook and eat outdoors. There is an outdoor gas grill and picnic table in a lovely wooded picnic area beside the house. And there is a firepit. These are for the private use of our guests.

A beach parking permit is loaned to guests for free (a $25 per day value). Beach chairs and beach towels can be borrowed, too! Additionally, guests can borrow our kayaks for free. The kayaks are small, are 8 ft. in length, so they are best suited to river/bay kayaking, not ocean kayaking.

Coffee and tea are provided in the room along with homemade cookies and snacks.

The suite is on a second floor with one flight of stairs to climb. It offers privacy as it is on the far side of the house and has an exclusive entrance.

Beach pass given upon request. There are also many other beaches within a 25 minute drive. $25 fee if beach pass not returned. Guests have self checkin via a keypad by the door. It is a private entrance. We are a quiet, retired couple living in the home and quick to respond, available by phone or text and most times will be home.

During your stay
We like socializing and love to meet and give our guests recommendations upon request. We of course will respect what people prefer if they want complete privacy we are fine with it. We are both fully vaccinated.

The space
It is modern and airy yet cozy compact studio; private yet convenient. Your space is a very quiet loft on the second floor of our office/garage on our property next to our house. It is a compact space with a tall airy vaulted ceiling with thoughtful design choices to maximize function in a small space. Our house and your studio are very separate from each other. The windows of the studio are high up in the trees and overlook the woods and a small portion of our back yard. Our private residence faces the other side of the property so we never see you! Perennial gardens surround your studio for you to enjoy. There is a private fenced in outdoor space just for you on the left side of the garage.

Guest access
There is a private fenced in yard and seating area for you accessed through a gate on the left side of the garage. The entire grounds around the studio in the fenced in area are available to the guests. There is a gate that leads to the woods and guests are welcome to explore the 13 acres and access the abutting 300-acre Land Trust. There are chairs and tables in the outdoor space. The outdoor shower is private for the studio loft guests only.

Other things to note
There is a vaulted ceiling with a large fan that pushes a tremendous amount of air as well as windows on 3 sides so there is wonderful cross ventilation. It has A/C, too. We have a parking pass for your use at the area beaches.

Our home is a warm and welcoming 1796 colonial house in downtown Kennebunk, a town filled with history.
We are steps from shops, bakery, restaurants, and walking trails. The beaches are three miles from our home. It is a short drive to Kennebunkport and Dock Square. Portland is an easy half hour drive.

The space
The apartment is a part of the large colonial home although it is entirely separate and private with its own keyless entry. In the bedroom, there is a queen size bed, a lovely fireplace that supports the colonial aesthetic (although no fires are allowed), an ensuite bathroom with shower, and a spacious closet.
The second room includes a comfortable living area, along with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes/utensils/glassware.
There are a number of gardens on the property that can be enjoyed in season.
The house is in the center of the town and it can be enjoyable to walk a few blocks to the bakery, shops, health food store, and restaurants. There are also two walking trails near by.

Guest access
Our guests have exclusive use of the entry porch which is on the right side of the house. There is a designated parking spot on the left side of the house and it is a short walk to the guest porch. There is a keyless lock on the entrance door and the code will be shared a day or two before arrival.

During your stay
We want to give our guests as much privacy as possible. We will be on the property for the most part and can answer any questions or make recommendations upon request.

We have a sweet golden retriever in the house. She is friendly and will remain with us. Those who are sensitive to animals and/or pet dander should know that she is on site yet will remain separate from the apartment.

This is an amazing location, walking distance (5 min or less) to farmers market, park with tennis courts and childrens play area, downtown shops, french bakery, DQ, Bowling and Natural Food Store. 15 minute drive to any of 6 beaches and we have a guest pass for you to get free beach parking

The space is about a thousand square feet,with a fairly open concept feel. Huge kitchen and gathering area for dinning and conversation. Large screen tv and sectional couch to seat the family. Linens are high thread count cotton with a super soft feel.

This private room and bath is on the second floor and requires climbing an outdoor stairway to access the room.

Situated within a short walk to beautiful downtown Kennebunk, this cozy private bedroom & bathroom has its own private entrance and street-side parking directly in front of your first floor unit.

Formerly an 1890 bed & breakfast, my Inn is best described as a boutique-style motel. I have 4 private units on one side and my living space on the other.

This unit is freshly painted and furnished with a mix of antique & new with a Paris theme.

The space
The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee station and breakfast nook. The private bathroom with shower and tub is accessed thru a small 3 foot private attached hallway.

I provide the beginner small toiletries in case you forgot yours and also Keurig coffee pods and necessities. Plates, bowls, glasses & utensils for two are also provided for small meals.

I also have beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, an iron & board as well as umbrella for your use. Save yourself some luggage & car space as you don’t need to pack these items.

The TV is a Roku and provides some free programming and you can also login to your personal Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or other streaming apps.

I provide a beach parking pass which is a value of $25 per day. The beach parking pass is for Kennebunk town beaches only which include Gooch/Kennebunk beach and Mother's beach, two beautiful beaches that are a 5 mile drive from my home.

I share my rustic backyard with a "camping vibe" with my guests and enjoy chats by the fire or over a morning coffee. The hot tub for two is privately shaded with a canopy tent. A griddle grill, patio dining set and sun loungers are also part of the backyard amenities.

Guest access
Your room & bath is yours privately with your own entrance and parking in front of your room. Your room has a digital lock with code provided on your day of check-in. Three other rooms share the street-side parking. This listing is on the first floor. I live on the other side of the Inn. At times you may be the only guests or during peak weekends, you will meet the guests from the other units packing for their beach day or sitting in the yard for morning coffee or an evening fire. I love sharing my backyard for fires, grilling, chatting, cocktails & the hot tub.

Other things to note
No smoking in or around any of the units. Smoking is permitted at the fire-pit in the backyard.
