The space
Originally built in 1901, this brand new renovated beach cottage includes many exclusive features. There is a large duckless minisplit, for instant A/C & heat. The cottage is equipped with a new 50" flat screen smart 4K HDTV along with the fastest wifi available (1 gig), with a large desk, for easy remote working. The living room includes a couch that can fold out into a futon like bed and can comfortably sleep 1 additional guest for an extra $25 per person. You may be able to sleep two. The kitchen has been remodeled with a new stove/oven and new refrigerator and includes glassware, Silverware, pots and pans, etc. The bedroom looks over the protected Rachel Carson marshland with views that extend to the Atlantic Ocean. The bedroom is equipped with a comfortable king sized memory foam mattress bed with the soothing sounds of the ocean to help you sleep the night away. The newly renovated bathroom has a brand new stand-up shower installed. The cottage includes fresh linens, towels, extra bedding, and some complimentary toiletries. Guests will have complete access to their own propane grill and backyard, where they can also enjoy the newly installed fire pit for private use which comes with immaculate views of the Milky Way on a clear night. We have also installed a large oscillating solar panel so that our entire property runs off of solar enegy! The Mousam River and Bridal Path are conveniently located roughly 500' from the cottage to enjoy the beautiful Maine wilderness and river access to the ocean for water sports or striper fishing from the bridge.

Guest access
You are able to access the cottage itself, with two parking spaces in front (left side/front to back). The front and back yard with the grill and fire-pit are available to you. The main house unit is not to be accessed and is occupied by a year long respectful tenant. The garage unit out back is also not to be used by our cottage guests. If anything is needed, please contact your host.

Other things to note
***Please note that we are taking every precaution in terms of cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting the space. Our number one priority is to make our guests feel safe! We are using industrial strength cleaning materials when cleaning.

The entry to the apartment requires climbing 3 exterior stairs and the property is not handicap accessible. We are working on this and apologize for the current inconvenience. The inside stairs are also steep for some, so please be careful when going up and down the stairs.

Our bathroom offers one stand-up shower with no tub.

Our driveway is directly off of route 9 which is a high traffic road (40 mph zone). Please be careful if you have dogs or children on site. While the Bridle path, Mousam River and Parson's Beach are within walking distance, please note there are no sidewalks on your way to these locations.

Our neighboring tenant is quiet, and has no access to the cottage but may be roaming around outside from time to time.

Our pet policy is negotiable. Please contact us for further discussion. All dogs are preferred to be hypoallergenic. Dogs are not allowed on the bed, and furniture may be covered to protect it against pet hair. Dogs must be crate trained and can not be left alone in the cottage. Owners must pick up after their dog and dispose appropriately. An additional cleaning fee will be added by Airbnb. Dogs must be vaccinated and treated for fleas. Please bring your own dog bowls & dog beds. Dogs should be on a leash when not in the cottage as the location is on a high traffic road.

There is absolutely no smoking or vaping in the cottage.

The space
We recently renovated OMG Cottage and are excited to share it with guests. OMG Cottage has one queen bed and a full-size sleeper sofa. It is ideal for 2 guests but can accommodate up to 4 guests. This bright and cheerful space has ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom and beautiful pine floors throughout. Modern bath features a huge walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head and a hand shower. Flat screen TV with roku and wifi. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, gas oven, full size fridge, dining table that seats 4.
