Rob and Margit are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful of every detail. What really made the trip for us was the smorgasbord of a breakfast. We informed them we are vegan ahead of time, and they delivered more than we could have ever expected. Firstly, we were offered homemade granola and vegan yogurt, as well as fresh fruit bowls. I had thought this was the extent of it and was honestly already satisfied but then they handed us the real menu which offered a choice between sweet vegan pancakes and a savory southwest tofu scramble, which were both delectable! They also had vegan peanut butter cookies when we arrived! We had a lovely convo with Rob and Margit during our breakfast and they gave us free guest passes for the Currier Museum of Art just a couple blocks down the street from the Inn, whom they have a partnership with as a local business. We went after checking out and it was a perfect way to end our wonderful trip!!"

Circa 1760, it one of the oldest homes in Concord. This mansion was once a single family home. The first owner Colonel Robert Davis, started out as a Fifer and participated in the Battle of Bennington during The Revolution. It sits on a half an acre has a spacious garden in the back. Enter through a small porch off the side hallway into what used to be the Victorian kitchen. This entry is also used by the upstairs tenant. This space is not combined with the owners personal living space. Your bedroom is graced by period style Ethan Allen queen canopy sized bed, extra quilts and pillows. Sheets are meticulously clean and fresh. Locks on bedroom doors. Smart TV. Internet access too. We have many wonderful books for cuddling up with also. Right around the corner from a private full bathroom.
This is a ground level bedroom. Parking for one cars off street parking. The city does allow free daytime and overnight parking also. Easy access to the White Mountains, Lakes Region. Within walking distance to downtown restaurants and museums. There is also an enclosed porch to store boots skis and jackets too!

Welcome to our cozy and peaceful cottage near it all! Your temporary home at the foot of the Lakes Region and amongst many ski areas is an hour from the White Mountains, Boston, and New Hampshire’s beautiful seacoast. There are endless places to explore within a short driving distance, no matter the season.

The cottage has its own entrance and parking across a large garden from our home. We are available or invisible, whichever you prefer. Come enjoy all that New Hampshire has to offer!

The space
The cottage is a 500 square foot house located in New Hampshire’s capital and has something to offer everyone. It is private and peaceful, and perfect for short or extended stays. It sits on the edge of our property and is granted privacy by a large garden and trees.

The cottage includes a kitchen with everything you need for your stay, including a coffee maker, microwave, gas range, and cooking utensils. The living room sits between the kitchen and bedroom and features enough seating for three people as well as a pull out twin sofa bed for a child. Many adults will find this pull out to be too small. The bedroom has a queen bed and Roku TV to stream all of your favorites using the cottage WiFi.

If you’ve spent the day viewing the leaves or at one of the nearby ski areas, a propane fireplace awaits, and air conditioning for when you’ve spent a summer day at one of the lakes or beaches.

Other things to note
Concord is a historical city with much to offer, including a lively downtown area featuring many shops and restaurants, and a farmers market every Saturday. It is also centrally located, giving you access to all of New Hampshire within a short drive, including lakes, skiing, beaches, breweries, hiking, and so much more.

Our 1840’s renovated grist mill is located in the beautiful Monadnock Region. The house and cottage are situated on twelve acres and includes gardens, an orchard, berry bushes, grape vines, beehives, a dog, and a tremendous waterfall. We are close to many of nature’s gems including Mount Monadnock, Pack Monadnock, the Heald Tract hiking trails, skiing, snowshoeing and swimming. Also the acclaimed MacDowell Arts Center, Andy’s Summer Playhouse, Andres Institute of Art and the Waldorf Schools.

The space
The cottage is a very peaceful space with a private entrance and a porch to view the waterfall and the magnificent trees and gardens. With built-in desks, well-lit workspaces, and excellent Wifi, there is ample ergonomic space for writing, sewing, working, and artwork.

It comes with a full bath (antique clawfoot tub with a handheld showerhead), a mini refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, an electric tea kettle, and a microwave oven. The cottage is nearby the main house, but when you are inside or on your private porch, you feel like you are alone in a very secluded space - which you are. The cottage has been used as an artist studio, so there is room for creating. The porch is the perfect place to read or sip your morning beverage, and it is tranquil with the sound of the waterfall, adding a calming presence.

We welcome you to explore the property, swim in the waterfall, and pick a peach or two!

While we love dogs and have a friendly Great Dane at the Old Red Mill, regrettably, we cannot welcome guests to bring their pets.

The Sweet Suite is a basement suite of our family home. We invested extra in sound proofing between levels, but know there are people and pets above you. We will do our best to be respectful of quiet times so not to disturb you. You may hear an occasional dog bark. We also include complimentary earplugs. :)

Kitchen Area
Katie cooks meals for the French family every night, and knows what a kitchen needs to be a home away from home. You have everything you need to make the meals you love while on the road - traveling can be so taxing on the body, but nourishing yourself with a well cooked meal is surely a way to improve things.

Missing an ingredient? Katie probably has it upstairs. Text her!

The kitchen area has two spots for eating - the island (an IKEA find that Katie cannot pronounce to save her life) with two stools, and a round table with bench seating area.

Cleaning up after a delicious meal is a breeze with a full size dishwasher. Dishes in the unit are dishwasher safe - but please refrain from putting pots, pans, and wooden utensils in the dish washer.

Living room area
The sleeper sofa is angled towards a flat screen smart TV and an entertainment end table with a few goodies stacked inside + board games. Feel free to host friends for a game night - we just ask that you refrain from loud parties.

The Library (Bedroom)
A sleep number bed is completely customizable to the user. We have put the softest sheets we could find so that it really is an oasis away from home. Unwind in the corner on our leather chair with a good book and a cup of tea. Of course - help yourself to read the books on the library shelves - please leave them in the residence after you use them, as these are our personal collection. The bedroom looks through a garden box of rose bushes. It is equipped with a light blocking curtain for those who prefer to sleep in darkness.

The Oasis (Bathroom)
The Oasis includes a full tub/shower combo and features the work of a local artist commissioned to add to the space's ambience. Help yourself to one of the complimentary travel kits and the standard amenities like shampoo, conditioner. The Oasis is also where you can do any laundry while traveling. Katie personally DETESTs packing dirty clothes into a suitcase and made sure you wouldn't have to! Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are included.

Utilities
The main rooms are cooled and heated using Mini Splits, though we find the basement level to stay invitingly cool and serene. Remotes are available to turn on climate control as much as needed. A separate heater is available in the bathroom - please do not run the heater when not in the bathroom.

Parking
One parking spot is available in the driveway, otherwise street parking is acceptable and encouraged. Please refrain from parking within 5 feet of a mailbox as the postman gets upset.

Outdoor amenities
Kids are welcome to use our playset! It's a great time and opportunity to wear out energetic children. The porch above your unit is accessible through a picket fence and little stone path. It is shared with the French family. Please feel encouraged to enjoy the deck furniture.

Access
The Sweet Suite is a basement suite with a walk out door from the kitchen. You can access the door from either side of the yard. It includes a gradual slope. This section may update as we continue to work on the property. Our home is built into a hill. You park in our driveway which is ground level, walk across our yard and down a path to a walk out basement which is also ground level. The path has stone steps.

Exit 5 of 93, close to Poor Boys and the Red Arrow Diner.

Family Friendly Items:
Pack and play, high chair, car seat, stroller, plates, cups, utensils, and children's toys and art supplies are available for use. Just let us know what you need!

The space
Your home was lovingly built by the original owner for his daughter and her husband in the early '80s. I purchased this property from his daughter in 2018. Each and every day I am thankful for the serenity and thoughtfulness my days here bring me. I am very pleased to be able to share my 'heaven' with you.

Each bedroom is outfitted with fine cotton sheeting and down comforter. Each bed has both down and hypoallergenic pillows. In warmer weather, each bed also has a light cotton blanket. Each bedroom is equipped with 'darkening' window covers

The apartment has two portable air conditioners and several fans for warmer months. There are two propane heaters and a pellet stove when the cold comes. All appliances are new in 2022 and 50 gallon water heater also installed in 2022

The 1st floor bedroom has 'home office' capability, with a big desk, excellent internet and a printer. Its a great place for a Zoom call!

All north views are of the Pond, with large pine stand to the west and hardwoods to the right. All 22 acres are yours to explore.

My home is adjacent to your home. Other than my home itself, you will have access to all onsite amenities. Your 1800 sq ft, 3-floor living quarters are entirely self-contained and there is no 'shared' living space. A laundry room with new washer & dryer is in the apartment. The front door is adjacent to the driveway and great for loading/unloading. A back door in the basement bedroom opens to a pollinator garden and pine stand. Owls live in the pines...their cacophony at night is wondrous.

The cabin on the pond (a 100 ft walk) has a potbelly stove and is comfortably equipped for reading, writing, thinking and soulful long talks. There is electricity to the cabin so you have lighting in the evening. The kayak on the pond is all yours. There is even a cot with clean linens for spending the night out....quite magical!

Other things to note
Templebrook is 1.5 miles from Temple's town center.

We have an excellent local eatery, Birchwood Inn & Tavern that's a gathering spot for locals with Traditional/Celtic/Bluegrass music on Tuesday nights. The Birchwood takes Farm to Table seriously....think about their Sunday Morning Brunch! I recommend reservations. If you want to her music from our local musicians on Tuesday night, ask for the bar when making reservations....call early!

I also encourage you to visit Temple's General Store. Local eggs and supplies. Stay and talk a while there if you can...it's a much loved local 'institution'.

The Modern Farmhouse shows off it's beautiful newly renovated, open concept kitchen with all new kitchen appliances, white cabinets, white quartz countertops, a plush sectional couch, a large dining space, and a quiet and relaxing outdoor patio, and scenic views and local attractions. We strive to meet your every need and desire from high-speed WiFi, smart tv, new memory foam mattresses, complimentary coffee and breakfast items, toaster, tea kettle, coffee maker, a variety of cookware, board games, desk workspace, fire pit, outdoor patio, and grill. The firepit, grill, and patio are seasonal.

Guests will have exclusive access to their reserved apartment stay, in addition to shared use of the outdoor patio, grill, and firepit with the second apartment unit. Each reservation is limited to one vehicle and parking space on the property’s location. If additional parking spaces are needed, please reach out to the host for express permission before booking/arrival.

Outside quiet hours are from 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM. ONLY guests on the reservation are allowed on the property without express permission before arrival from the host.

Loud groups or large groups (over 6 people) are NOT allowed. We have a strict no-smoking policy, which will be strictly enforced.
NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED!

This space is located about 200 ft. From the main house and about 125 ft. From where You park your vehicle. So be prepared to carry your things over a little hill.

Other things to note
This space is very special to me. So conducive to healing and going within. I feel more One-With-nature here than any other place on earth. In spring and summer months one can dig their toes into the beech sand while sitting by the camp fire or sitting out on the raft and observing all the wildlife. (Many species of fish, turtles, salamanders, frogs ECT.) During winter months you'll find the space cozy and warm as you chill by the woodstove. Or invigorate yourself with hiking or snowshoeing the surrounding area. BTW, I provide all the wood you'll need for the stove. -What to bring: sleeping bag and pillow, food, ice for the cooler. Pots and pans are included but bring utensils. Flash light. Lantern. Basically you'll be kind of luxury camping.

With the original Farmhouse built over 200 years ago, Blue Bear Inn is nestled on the side of a mountain with 180 degree view of the beautiful New Hampshire mountains and landscape. Full restaurant and bar connected to the Inn is open Thursday to Saturday and offers a delicious array of apps and meals, using some locally sourced ingredients.
