A fully renovated Grange Hall into Bed and Breakfast. We serve a full breakfast for $20 per person. We have 2 private rooms each with private bath. There is a large common area with guest kitchen, sitting and dining areas as well as pingpong & grande piano. All rooms are on first floor with no stairs to climb. A full breakfast is available and Guest have full use of the guest kitchen. Gene and Judy are excellent hosts and will give recommendations on where to eat, where to hike, and how to experience the best fall colors or spring gardens.

You will have a private room and bathroom. The rest of the house is for mingling with other guests and your host. There is a kitchen to cook in, a ping pong table (watch out, Judy is a shark!) and a fire pit in the back yard to roast marshmallows and star gaze.

We have original Moses Eaton stenciling from 1815, The old world tavern for playing games and artifacts we found around the property! You will be staying in the MOSES EATON room! We have near by, large lakes and ski resorts. The room has a private bathroom, a panted mural and four poster bed! Your special Breakfast is made with great ingredients and free range chicken eggs!

You will enter the through the front door and will see a desk with instructions to your room. You will have access to the Historic dining room, tavern for games, the grounds with gardens and your room. We have free parking as well.

During your stay
We have self-check in at the front desk. I do serve breakfast at 9:00am in the historic dining room!

The space
This lovely and very private guesthouse is located behind the garage of the main house which is a distance away. It is newly built to high standards with 3 separate mini splits, each delivering hot or cold conditioning depending on season. High end appliances and a well outfitted kitchen make it feel posh and comfortable.

The region is highly desirable for its arts and culture year round. Swimming 10 minutes away and the Dublin base trail to the top of famous Mount Monadnock is a 5 minute drive from the house. The public Shattuck golf course is a 20 minute drive…and, in the Spring and Fall, visitors may play on the beautiful Dublin Lake Club course just minutes away. A firepit and outdoor seating provide an ideal outdoor spot to talk and stargaze.

The charming town of Peterborough was inspiration for Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. It is full of interesting shops and restaurants, as are many of the notable surrounding towns in the region.
