- "We loved experiencing the amazing renovations to this 1890 home in a middle class neighborhood close to everything, especially the co-op and downtown. The kitchen is unique and had everything we needed and more -- you will spend time gathering around the beautiful wood table. Love all the natural wood and exposed brick. Lovely adjustable lighting and plenty of plugs. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood for sleeping too. Nice to have the extra bedroom for our local family member. We usually stay at a hotel, and this was much homier. I wish we had seen the neighbor's cat, lol, and that we could have stayed longer."

This space is large, sunny and is a perfect home away from home, we love hosting long term guests who want privacy and the ability to unwind at the end of the day. It's also perfect for a retreat or weekend get away as it's close to lakes, mountains and hiking trails.

Step back in time to enjoy the second floor of the historic E Parker building, built in 1850. It overlooks Fitzwilliam's village green which is as picturesque as a postcard from days gone by. The village green is home to the strawberry festival, summer concerts, the flea market and the other village events. Farmers market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday May to October!
There is a private entrance to the left of the building and parking at the rear. The barn is on the national historic register and the back garden is yours to relax in.
This apartment is bright. It is listed a two bedroom but we added a twin bed in a small room so you can comfortably sleep a family of five, or two couples. There is a large eat in kitchen with propane stove, full size fridge, microwave, crock pot, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, dishes, pans, glasses and cutlery. We do not provide food.
The spacious sunlit living room is the perfect place to relax. You can watch a movie on the DVD, snuggle up in the comfortable chair and read a book or work on a jigsaw puzzle or color at the checkerboard table. There is also high speed internet available if you want to work from home.
The dining room is perfect for more formal dinner setting.
The master bedroom has the most comfortable queen sized bed and it was hand crafted in Vermont. It has a dresser, reading nook and closet. It overlooks the village green. In the summer there is a window ac in the room.
The second bedroom has a full size bed, dresser and a large closet. In the summer there is a window fan in the room.
There a twin bed in a small room but it is not technically a bedroom, it’s more for convenience for those that may need extra sleeping accommodation. It does not have a door!
The bathroom is off the kitchen and has a tub with shower.
We provide towels and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There is a vanity area outside the bathroom with a hairdryer.
There is also an ironing board and iron if you need it.
Laundry facilities are available for an additional charge of $5 per load (washer and dryer)
This is a little piece of history, we hope to one day update the kitchen and bathroom but until then it has old charm and function rather than state of the art modern design. We hope you'll find it to be a home away from home.

The kitchen is stocked with essentials for cooking i.e. flour, sugar, spices and oil. The coffee is a Nespresso Machine with options of coffees to try.

Nestled in the quiet woods just north of Mt. Monadnock our cozy one bedroom apartment invites the outdoors in with peeks of the mountain through the trees. Sit out on your private deck and enjoy the view or stroll around the yard and pick a few blueberries in season.
We welcome hikers, nature lovers, those visiting friends or family or just wanting to enjoy the area's beautiful scenery and many artistic venues.
I like to think of it as a peaceful sanctuary that we'd like to share with you.
The space
The guest apartment is part of our home but it is completely private and has it's own entry and private deck. So, you don't have to say hello whenever you come and go (unless you'd like to, of course:) If you have questions and either Sterling or I are there you are welcome to just knock on our door ( next door) and if we are gone, I am usually available to receive a text or call.
You may just enjoy sitting out on the deck to get your fresh air and view but you are welcome to the yard and to stroll through the garden. We have a parking space reserved for guests.
We only advertise one bedroom but there is a long couch (not a pullout with a bed) in the living room as well that is pretty comfortable for a child. I keep extra bedding in the bedroom closet. We have a pack and play if you need it.
We also have a guestroom with its own patio down the stairs from the apartment. My family visits occasionally so I don't advertise it but if you need another queen bed you can let me know and, if it is available, you are welcome. (We charge an extra $50 a night for that.)
If you like to cook, the kitchen has the basics: stove, refrigerator, utensils, a few condiments and spices. Let me know if you need anything you can't see there.
The apartment has a coffee station. You can have the option of the Kuerig if you are in a hurry for coffee in the morning (like me) or there is a coffee maker so that you can make yourself a pot. I usually try to have eggs and something baked on hand so you don't have to rush off for breakfast.

You’ll enter through the front door of my quaint New England home, to a small shared hallway. Here you’ll find double white doors, that will lead you up a staircase to your peaceful, completely private, self contained suite.
This is an open concept space, with a creative kitchen, equipped with an electric double burner stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, instant pot, water kettle, french press and instant coffee maker. There are two stools if you’d like to grab a seat at the counter and enjoy your meal, or entertain a guest.
This kitchen was uniquely designed taking consideration of fully utilizing the space, with a creative aspect, all customized, finished, natural wood, countertops and storage shelving. An apartment size fridge is brand new, and there is ample pantry space in the long walk in closet.

The side yard is available, and we are in the process of creating a seating area.
There is one shared hallway after entering the front door. There is a sliding barn door straight ahead as you enter, this area is private, and leads to my home. The door should be closed and secured, but in occasion could be open depending on your in and outs. The other two doors in this hallway will also be closed and locked and are not accessible to airbnb guests. Thank you for respecting the space.
The front door and the double doors that lead to the suite are locking doors with the same key.

Welcome to The Phineas Handerson House, originally built in 1827 by the “the happiest man in town” Able Wilder. Modern eclectic two-bedroom(no door on loft bedroom) apartment, just one block from Central Square in Downtown Keene. Featuring newly remodeled kitchen, fitted with electric range and microwave. Other tenants occupy part of the building, but guests have a private entrance and off-street parking behind the building. Comfortable for up to four guests. Pet friendly!
The space
Newly renovated carriage house is a modern bright apartment that can sleep four comfortably. The walls are covered in modern art and there is a home office set up as well, just bring your lap top! An amazing space for you stay in Keene. We use Enhanced Cleaning procedures on all of our listings.

This unit comes with one parking space. We can provide more parking on a limited basis. Please let me know in advance if you will need a space for anther car. Extra parking spaces are an additional $25 per day.
Other things to note
The outside of the house shows it's 160 year old age and needs some new paint.
Early/Late Check In/Out are available depending on our cleaning schedule. There is a $25 additional fee if possible.
Mattresses: We use firm mattresses in all of our listings.
Pets/Animals/Companion Animals
Well behaved pets are welcome please add your pet when making your reservation. Pets are not to be left unattended in the space unless placed in a guest provided crate or something similar. Guests are also asked to bring coverings for our furniture to keep pet dander off of our soft goods, bedding and furniture.
Our properties do not have fences. Please keep your dog leashed at all times during your stay.
Please pick up any animal waste and use poop bags with the regular trash.
Steps/Stairs/Thresholds/Rugs
This home has steps, stairs, thresholds and rugs. Please familiarize yourself with all of them and use caution during your stay so that you do not injure yourself.
Cell Service/Internet
Cell Service may be spotty, depending on your carrier. It is best to download your welcome message before you come to the home. The internet is provided by Spectrum is reliable except in severe weather conditions.
Keys
Please keep the key in the lock box provided whenever you leave the house. Lost keys are subject to a $50 key replacement fee.
Expendables and Toiletries
For stays longer then five days, guest will be expected to supply their own toilet paper, tissues, soap, shampoo, coffee, spices etc.
Items Left Behind
Please remember to take all of your personal belongings including electronics with you upon checkout. We are not responsible for any items left behind under any circumstances and while we will use best efforts to get them back to you we offer no promises or guarantees. You will be charged the respective shipping fee for any items left behind in addition to $25 for our time in finding, packaging and shipping.
Cleaning Fees
Please understand that I believe in paying a living wage and fairly compensating my team. The team works hard to provide our guests with a clean and covid safe space to stay in.
Cancellations
We recommend in the event a guest needs to cancel, that before they do, they move their reservation to new dates. We maintain a strict no cancellation policy.
But because unforeseen things can and do happen, from weather events to sickness, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance either through Airbnb's partner Generali, or a third party of your choice. It is affordable option that can prevent any hardships for both parties. Please make sure you purchase the Cancel for any Reason option.

This downtown apartment is located in a historic 1901 building and has just been renovated top to bottom. The location can't be beat, and carefully curated design unites all 7 rooms, from the sunny porch to the cozy living room. All rooms are spacious and well-appointed with antique charm and modern conveniences alike.
The space
"Midtown" is the second floor apartment in a 3-story building. You'll find two twin beds in the sunny front bedroom, and a very comfortable queen in the primary bedroom. The cozy living room is the perfect spot to relax and watch a movie on the 65" TV. The dining room is in the heart of the apartment, making it a flexible space to get some work done by day and enjoy a nice meal at quitting time (though we recommend going out to one of the many excellent restaurants that are just a few minutes walk away). The bathroom has a large shower with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and a hair dryer provided. The kitchen is in the back of the apartment and stocked with all the essentials, including coffee and tea. Feel free to enjoy your morning cup on the sun porch.

My mother's family settled Windy Row in the early 1800s and this property was owned by her uncle, Homer Bigelow. Homer's brick house burned down in 1938 - just before the famed 1938 Hurricane that wiped out all of the trees and many buildings here in Peterborough and the surrounding towns. The foundation can still be seen right outside the windows of the apartment you will be in. Homer was a Boston based artist and this was his retreat. He converted the dairy barn (now attached to our house) to be his art studio and it is mostly untouched since he died in the 1950's. We now use it as our living room, my photo studio and a private event rental spot (See Cold Comfort Farm / Cold Comfort Farm House Concerts on FB) for WEDDINGS AND CONCERTS.
We are only minutes from the downtowns of Peterborough, Hancock, Harrisville and Dublin, yet we are private and secluded. We have a beautiful view of Grand Monadnock and there is always a light-show on the mountain morning and evening. Our horses graze in the pasture just outside your door, and our rooster will wake you in the mornings.
