The exact date is unknown, but town records indicate that the home was constructed before 1697, and now the Joseph Warren House is officially designated as a historic New England landmark by the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
The Warrens were farmers, craftsmen, and soldiers – and “for two centuries there was a Joseph Warren living in the old house.”
