Unfortunately we were in the middle of a heat wave and the air conditioner wouldnt stay on so the condo just kept getting warmer. Also, we did NOT appreciate paying for additional fees by the resort because we used hotels.com to book our stay."

Cozy chalet located on Okemo Mountain Resort within a mile of the base lodge and a half mile from The VAST. Located on a private Cul de sac, this 2 bedroom, 1 bath sleeps 6 and the private setting allows for a night of serenity after a fun filled day on the mountain. Whether you ski, snowboard, snow shoe, golf, ride snowmobiles, ride the mountain roller coaster, or just get away from life and chill, you are sure to enjoy your getaway at The BriWi Chalet in Ludlow Vermont.

Completely renovated in 2024 including new carpet throughout. Also based on renter reviews, I had updated the kitchen and installed a dishwasher in 2020. This first-floor apartment has 2 bedrooms 2 full baths, a well-equipped kitchen that opens to the first living room with a 39” TV another living room in the rear with a 50" flat-screen TV, a queen sleeper sofa, 1 regular sofa & 2 recliners. Bedroom #1 has one set of twin bunks and a double bed. Leaving bedroom #1 through a separate door you enter into a second living room with a queen sleeper sofa, love seat, coffee table, 50" wall-mounted TV, full bath, a small loft with an egress window, and a double bed platform mattress on the floor. This area also makes for a great game room for the kids and get away 🎮 🎧 It's like a separate one-bedroom lockout apartment with a private outside entrance and porch.

Don't forget how great summer is in Vermont with golf at Fox Run and Tater Hill or hiking up Okemo and biking on its trails and its great new Adventure Park. If you prefer a quieter time, you could read a book in the backyard by the Black River. Echo Lake State Park has a beach and fishing or rent a rowboat or paddleboard and enjoy the clear waters of Vermont. Use Jackson Gore's new Adventure Park, a fitness center with an indoor and outdoor pool for a small fee. Also, the free summer outdoor concerts sitting around the fire pit in the courtyard. Day trips to Mt. Washington or Manchester, VT outlets. We also have an outside grill, table, and chairs, with a river view right in the backyard.

Check-in time is: In at 5 PM out at 2 P M. The door will be unlocked and the key on the kitchen table. When leaving, leave the key on the kitchen table and lock the door behind you, also place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on. The unit will be cleaned and sanitized before entering.
I have hand sanitizer and rubber gloves on the kitchen counter for your convenience.

Things to bring: Sheet sizes, 2 double beds, 2 twin beds, 2 queens for sleeper sofas, pillowcases, and towels. I provide plenty of blankets.

This second floor apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen, washer & dryer. Bedroom #1 has two sets of twin bunks (4 people), bedroom #2 has 1 set of custom made double bed bunks (4people). I don’t provide linens. If you prefer a quieter time you could read a book at the state park beach , fish or rent a boat and paddle around to enjoy the clean waters of VT. Use Jackson Gore fitness center with indoor outdoor pool for a small fee . Also enjoying the free summer out door concerts sitting around the fire pit in the court yard. Day trips to Mt. Washington and Manchester, Vt. outlet stores. Or you could take a rest and enjoy cooking out in the back yard on the grill by the Black river.

The studio has a full kitchen, a gas fireplace, a full-size bunk bed, a pull-out couch and a nice eating area with a full bathroom. Great location on the mountain, perfect place for a ski getaway with the family or friends. It will sleep 6 adults. Sheets for beds and towels provided. This two-family home has a studio on the first floor. There will be another apartment above you that will also be rented. You will share the driveway, but you will have your own entrance. There could be times noise could be heard from the main house.

During the winter months four-wheel drive may be necessary to get to this residence.

Cozy chalet located on Okemo Mountain Resort within a mile of the base lodge and a half mile from The VAST. Located on a private Cul-de-sac, this 2 bedroom, 1 bath sleeps up to 6. The BriWi Chalet is good for couples and families (with kids).

The Briwi chalet is a comfortable apartment located in a very quiet area. It comes with all kitchen amenities as well as two private bedrooms, a full bathroom with washer and dryer. Based on renter reviews, i have updated the kitchen and installed a dishwasher for guests.

Cozy and well-stocked 1 BR/1 BA apartment with all the essentials for a comfortable weekend getaway. Free off-street parking for up to two cars. Walking distance, only a few blocks away at most, for restaurants, cafes, grocery store, hardware store, etc. On Okemo free shuttle route - leave your car behind and take the shuttle, avoiding the parking headaches, or 5 min drive to Okemo.

The space
Unit B - A late 1800 colonial, originally a single family building that has gone through several rounds of updates and additions, with total of 3 apartments. The inside is circa 1980s decor but clean and cozy. Some call it “dated” or some call it “quaint.” The stay is not something you see on Architecture Digest. Bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, and a commercial grade burber carpeting. The eat/in kitchen has wide-plank wood floor. Convenient with all the amenities, but not too much and over the top, and more utilitarian.

If your main goal is to ski and board during the day at Okemo, and all you need is a simple place just to sleep, then this little apartment may fit the bill. If you don’t feel like cooking at the end of a long but perfect day of skiing/boarding, just walk over to a half-dozen restaurants and cafes for dinner on Main St. Directly on the MOOver free shuttle route to Okemo base lodge.

This is NOT a luxury accommodation for a couple seeking romantic getaway. We try to offer this simple but clean unit at a reasonable price for a couple, or perhaps a family with two small kids who want simple, no fuss place to stay. Inside of our apartment looks like a collection of yard-sale furniture, hand crafted decoration, vintage fixtures, some Ikea furniture. It works well together somehow. It is great for value oriented seekers who do not need the up-to-date appliances and decor.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed enough to sleep two average sized adults. The living room/eat-in kitchen has a twin-size pull-out couch that is large enough to sleep another 1 to 2 average sized adults, or kids. We have a mattress topper in the closet if you like more cushion for the couch. We also have an inflatable twin size mattress, however, having 5 people in the apartment will be pretty tight and not recommended.

The apartment is one of 3-units in the main building. Unit B - You are on the 1st floor. Enter through the white, left side door next to the gravel driveway, facing the street. The brown wood door you see on the listing photo is for the 2nd floor Unit A. You may hear the 2nd floor tenants or guests upstairs, but they are mostly very quiet.

Guests are requested to honor quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM to allow quiet enjoyment by the other guests and tenants.

Guests have access to the apartment via smart-lock with a combination code or via physical key found in the lock box.

Other things to note
Please note that you may see a few cars in the driveway. The building has 2 other units that are rented to other tenants or guests. We may also come and stay on the property, specifically the Unit C in the back side of the house during your stay.

The garage is exclusively used by the listing owner to store supplies and equipment, and not available for the guests.
