If you choose to eat inside instead of the front porch, you will still have mountain views from the dining table. Step down from the living room into the bedroom, furnished with a 10" thick memory foam queen mattress, built-in dressers, a lounge chair and more mountain views.

The kitchen has a new electric range and fridge with plenty of room to store your haul from the many nearby breweries, Whether you make your coffee with the coffee maker, Keurig or French press, you can enjoy it on the enclosed porch with views of Mount Monadnock.

Off the kitchen, you will find the second big bedroom complete with 10" thick memory foam queen mattress, two nightstands with lamps, a smart tv and a small sitting area with original mid-century modern furniture left at the cabin, refinished with new cushions.

While a pack 'n play, highchair and a selection of kid's books is provided for our guests traveling with small children, the cabin is not fully baby proofed.

You will have the entire cabin and surrounding 5 acres to yourself during your stay to relax in ultimate privacy. There is a punch code lock for easy self-check in.

Other Things to Note
Should you decide to leave the cabin, there is great hiking in the area. Check out our guidebook or AllTrails for more details. There are so many wonderful independent breweries in the area including Granite Roots just down the street.

There are exterior security cameras in-use for security, to monitor deliveries and maintenance and to make sure only registered guests are on the property.

Please keep in mind that this is a cabin. There is a good chance you will find things like mud, bugs and animals around the property.

The cabin is. 10 minutes from Mount Monadnock for the adventure hiker or 10 minutes in the other direction to Rhododendron State Parks if you prefer casual walks in the woods, There are 8 small batch breweries within 20 minutes of the cabin.

Fitzwilliam is only 2 hours from Boston and 40 minutes east of Brattleboro, Vermont. The driveway has plenty of room for 2 or 3 cars.

- "We loved experiencing the amazing renovations to this 1890 home in a middle class neighborhood close to everything, especially the co-op and downtown. The kitchen is unique and had everything we needed and more -- you will spend time gathering around the beautiful wood table. Love all the natural wood and exposed brick. Lovely adjustable lighting and plenty of plugs. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood for sleeping too. Nice to have the extra bedroom for our local family member. We usually stay at a hotel, and this was much homier. I wish we had seen the neighbor's cat, lol, and that we could have stayed longer."

The space
This is a large farm house that has been completely renovated in 2023/2024. It has many typical New England farmhouse features including handmade trim and wood floors throughout most of the rooms. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The living room couch doubles as a pull out full-size bed. Additional guests may stay, but sleeping arrangements would be up to you (there is a other couch and recliner downstairs). The kitchen is a great place to sit and visit with friends and family to share a meal or drinks. A Keurig coffee maker is supplied with some coffee to choose from. The laundry room has a washer and dryer as well as some washer detergent pods for your use. There are two bathrooms - one upstairs with a walk in shower and one downstairs with a shower/tub combo. The back yard is large and open with a swing set, kids toys, a fire pit and a picnic table. You might choose to pack a picnic and take it down by the river or to the end of the property overlooking the river. We hope you will enjoy this house and the surrounding property as much as we do!

We strive for perfection on cleaning, all our beds & pillows are covered with waterproof covers for our guests safety. Our bedding & towels are all washed in hot water with free & clear laundry detergent for sensitive skin. We use cleaners & disinfectants to sterilize all high touch surfaces between guests.

Kitchen/Bathroom: We provide extra Toilet paper & Paper towels along with coffee pods for the Keurig and laundry supplies. We also have Seasoning & cooking oil, High speed blender, air fryer, rice cooker, toaster, juicer, water kettle, pasta strainer, kitchen knives, high quality pots & pans, can opener, wine opener, ice maker, high chair, kids dinnerware. The kitchen consists of a 8 person dinning set with large plates, small plates, bowls, cups, mugs.

Bedrooms/Living Space: This house does have two king size beds and does work best for 4 people. However can be used for 8 as it does have two sleeper couches as well as a blow up king mattress. One being a L shaped recliner. The other is a twin size futon. Extra pillows are provided in the walk in closest along with extra blankets. We also have Crib (pack n play) that is available. We have an indoor wood burning fireplace as a backup heater in case of emergency during winter. We have 4 mini splits in the rooms along with a bathroom electric floorboard heater and a space heater for the side bedroom.

Hot Tubs/Game Rooms: We have a beautiful granite color hot tub with led lights and ultra powerful jets. The hot tub is private in our backyard overlooking our 2 acers of property next to the enclosed porch game room. We also have an electric grill & a cute hammock with some outdoor furniture. The hot tub is private in the backyard that is exclusive to this unit the entire space also includes a hammock, string lights and many games such as; corn hole, life size yahtzee, life size jenga, darts, life size connect four, mini pool table, large ping pong table, and many board games. We added gym equipment as well with a pull up stand too.

PLEASE NOTE: there is an upstairs to our home that’s an in-laws suite that is occasionally occupied with a completely separate entrance so there is no disturbance and excellent privacy.
When we bought this house, it was a full seven bedrooms and not very many large groups travel to this area so we decided to separate it with a wall and soundproof it making this into a duplex with a smaller upstairs in-laws suite.
Everything pictured is available for full access to the downstairs only with no sharing involved whatsoever.

There was a bit of confusion from some people surrounding this, so we just wanted to put in the clarification, that the upstairs has nothing to do with the hot tub or anything pictured in our listing, all of that is only available for booked guests on this listing to the downstairs.

We have never had a noise complaint between the two units.

Quiet hours are at 10 pm every night until 10am. This is out of respect for the other unit
Interaction with guests
We will do our best to accommodate later checkout/earlier check in as long as it’s approved and discussed before hand. *Without approval we do charge for every 15min after checkout you will be charged $50 and once it hits 2 hours you will be charged an additional day as this doesn't give our cleaners enough time to get ready for the next reservation.

If there is ever an issue with getting into the house or you accidentally get locked out not to worry we have extra sets of keys for emergency locked in a separate lockbox, along with having our housecleaner that lives just down the street who is always available to help out in case of emergency. We also have a private contractor that lives nearby as well to help if something breaks :)

We have a professional cleaning team that lives in town so if anything is not up to standard, please let us know and we will send someone over asap. Someone is always around to help with any issues so if anything comes up, please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can have the opportunity to get things resolved for you during your trip :)

Please review the welcome book and online guidebook for local attractions and recommendations for restaurants, activities, and a more thorough updated book inside the house. We are always adding improvements to enhance guest experience, photos are constantly updated.

Out of safety for guests especially those with young children we do not have any glass on the property, as far as decorations go or in the kitchen so if you do decide to bring any please be careful & do not bring glass into the hot tub.

Please bring your own firewood, as we used to provide some, but got in many terrible situations where people would constantly request more and more taking advantage of our kindness causing us to have to change policies. Thank you for understanding.

We also have no age requirement, so as long as someone in the party is 18 or older in order to book through their account you're all set :)

Remember to be respectful as this is a home and not a hotel. Please clean up after yourself. There will be an added cleaning fee if additional cleaning is necessary, price to be determined based off of need.
Please no pets of any kind. My daughter is severely allergic if you have a pet you need to take with you on your trip we respectfully ask if you could please find a pet friendly home as it does endanger my daughters health. If a pet is seen or suspected you will be billed $500 deep cleaning fee.
Hot tub rules that are violated and cause the hot tub to be damaged or drained will result in a $500
fine.

CHECK OUT: Upon departure, turn off all lights, place any used towels in the hamper, and lock all doors. Clean out the refrigerator of any food from your stay and make sure all dishes and cookware are clean and put away. To the best of your ability, please leave the home in the condition that you found it.

Privately Owned Golf Cart Usage Agreement
(A golf cart is provided for guest use around the camp during the Summer and Fall seasons.)
By completing your reservation and/or paying the golf cart fee through the rental platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions. This agreement applies to you and to all members of your party.

1. Care and Responsibility
Guests agree to operate the golf cart safely, responsibly, and respectfully at all times.
The renter is legally and financially responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused to the golf cart, the renter, their guests, or others—regardless of fault. Any repair or replacement costs will be charged to the renter accordingly.

2. Compliance with Laws
Golf carts must be operated in accordance with all State of New Hampshire motor vehicle laws.
Guests agree to:
• Follow all traffic rules and posted signs.
• Never drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substances.
• Accept full responsibility for any tickets, fines, or violations incurred while the cart is in use.

3. Driver Eligibility and Use
Only drivers who are at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license may operate the golf cart.
Maximum occupancy is limited to the number of available seats—no standing, hanging, or riding on fenders or other areas of the cart.
The primary renter of the house is fully responsible for the actions and safety of all persons in their group who operate or ride in the golf cart. The renter must ensure all users follow these terms.

4. Security Deposit
A $250 security deposit will be held on the renter’s credit card at the time of payment through the rental platform. This deposit may be applied toward any damage, loss, or violation that occurs during use.

5. Liability Waiver
By operating or riding in the golf cart, guests acknowledge and accept that such activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to collisions, tipping, terrain hazards, or actions of other individuals.
The renter and their guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with use of the golf cart and agree to waive, release, and hold harmless the property owners, their family members, agents, and employees from any and all claims, demands, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to golf cart operation—whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
The renter also agrees to be fully responsible for the conduct, safety, and compliance of all members of their group who use the cart.
This waiver applies to all claims, known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable. Use of the golf cart is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

We strive for perfection on cleaning, all our beds & pillows are covered with waterproof covers for our guests safety. Our bedding & towels are all washed in hot water with free & clear laundry detergent for sensitive skin. We use cleaners & disinfectants to sterilize all high touch surfaces between guests.

Kitchen/Bathroom: We provide extra Toilet paper & Paper towels along with coffee pods for the Keurig and laundry supplies. We also have Seasoning & cooking oil, High speed blender, air fryer, toaster, pasta strainer, kitchen knives, high quality pots & pans, can opener, wine opener. The kitchen consists of a 8 person dinning set with large plates, small plates, bowls, cups, mugs. We also have a tabletop ice maker and Crib (pack n play) is available. We have a mini pool table and ping pong table, along with corn hole for games :)

Bedrooms/Living Space: This house does have two king size beds and does work best for 4 people. However can be used for 8 as it does have two sleeper couches as well as a blow up king mattress. One being a pull out couch size full. The other is a twin size futon. Extra pillows along with extra blankets are provided upon request. We have 3 mini split heads for heating/cooling and a separate space heater.

Hot Tubs/Game Rooms: We have a beautiful granite color hot tub with led lights and ultra powerful jets. The hot tub is private in our barn game room with privacy curtains. We also have an electric grill & a cute hammock with some outdoor furniture. The hot tub is private in the barn that is exclusive to this unit the entire space also includes a hammock, string lights and many games such as;
corn hole, life size yahtzee, life size jenga, darts, life size connect four, mini pool table, large ping pong table, and many board games

*Washer and dryer is available in the other unit if needed for longer term stay we can make arrangements between reservations for you to use it please let us know in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you otherwise there is a launder mat down the road a couple minutes away.

PLEASE NOTE: there is a downstairs unit to our home (unit A) that is occasionally occupied with a completely separate entrance so there is no disturbance and excellent privacy.
When we bought this house, it was a full seven bedrooms and not very many large groups travel to this area so we decided to separate it with a wall and soundproof it making this into a duplex.
Everything pictured is available for full access to the in laws suite only with no sharing involved whatsoever the barn is exclusive to this unit the hot tub and game room is only for this unit.

There was a bit of confusion from some people surrounding this, so we just wanted to put in the clarification, that the downstairs unit has nothing to do with the in laws suite hot tub or anything pictured in our listing, all of that is only available for booked guests on this listing to the upstairs in laws suite unit B. The hot tub is fully enclosed in the barn with additional privacy screens around the hot tub for full privacy.

We have never had a noise complaint between the two units.

Quiet hours are at 10 pm every night until 10am. This is out of respect for the other unit

We will do our best to accommodate later checkout/earlier check in as long as it’s approved and discussed before hand. *Without approval we do charge for every 15min after checkout you will be charged $50 and once it hits 2 hours you will be charged an additional day as this doesn't give our cleaners enough time to get ready for the next reservation.

If there is ever an issue with getting into the house or you accidentally get locked out not to worry we have extra sets of keys for emergency locked in a separate lockbox, along with having our housecleaner that lives just down the street who is always available to help out in case of emergency. We also have a private contractor that lives nearby as well to help if something breaks :)

We have a professional cleaning team that lives in town so if anything is not up to standard please let us know and we will send someone over asap. Someone is always around to help with any issues so if anything comes up please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can have the opportunity to get things resolved for you during your trip :)

For reservations of 28 days or longer please send an inquiry for setting up required paperwork to abide by the local laws for long term reservations.

Out of safety for guests especially those with young children we do not have any glass on the property, as far as decorations go or in the kitchen so if you do decide to bring any please be careful & do not bring glass into the hot tub.

We also have no age requirement, so as long as someone in the party is 18 or older in order to book through their account you're all set :)

House Rules:
Remember to be respectful as this is a home and not a hotel. Please clean up after yourself. There will be an added cleaning fee if additional cleaning is necessary, price to be determined based off of need.
Please no pets of any kind. My daughter is severely allergic if you have a pet you need to take with you on your trip we respectfully ask if you could please find a pet friendly home as it does endanger my daughters health. If a pet is seen or suspected you will be billed $500 deep cleaning fee.
Hot tub rules that are violated and cause the hot tub to be damaged or drained will result in a $500 fine.

CHECK OUT: Upon departure, turn off all lights, place any used towels in the hamper, and lock all doors. Clean out the refrigerator of any food from your stay and make sure all dishes and cookware are clean and put away. To the best of your ability, please leave the home in the condition that you found it.

The house is set back on a peaceful country road, nestled among farms, woodlands, and quiet family neighborhoods. Historic downtown Peterborough is a 5 minute drive and offers restaurants, galleries, cute local stores, and a movie theater. The intersection of route 101 and 202 is nearby, providing easy access to nearby towns, hiking trails, golf, and skiing.

The space
You will be staying in a newly renovated spacious and private guest suite. The bedroom offers a comfortable queen-sized bed, a desk for working, a La-Z-Boy chair for relaxing, and plenty of space to stretch out. Your spa inspired private bathroom has natural stone tile floor and a Jacuzzi tub fit for two, with massage jets and a beautiful reclaimed wood façade.

Out the back door of your suite is the shared "Woods Room," an all-season back porch, with a wood burning stove and beautiful views of the forest. On cold days, I will usually have a fire burning which you are welcome to sit and enjoy! On warm days, there is a deck and dining area just out the sliding door.

The shared bathroom has a shower and is located across the hall from your suite.

The entire house is about 2000 square feet, all on one floor.

Coffee, tea, and snacks are provided. You are also welcome to use the kitchen and refrigerator.

Besides your private guest suite, you will have access to a shared full bath (with shower), the kitchen, and the "Woods Room," a family room with 3 walls of windows giving beautiful views of the forest.

We welcome hikers, nature lovers, those visiting friends or family or just wanting to enjoy the area's beautiful scenery and many artistic venues.
I like to think of it as a peaceful sanctuary that we'd like to share with you.

The space
The guest apartment is part of our home but it is completely private and has it's own entry and private deck. So, you don't have to say hello whenever you come and go (unless you'd like to, of course:) If you have questions and either Sterling or I are there you are welcome to just knock on our door ( next door) and if we are gone, I am usually available to receive a text or call.
You may just enjoy sitting out on the deck to get your fresh air and view but you are welcome to the yard and to stroll through the garden. We have a parking space reserved for guests.
We only advertise one bedroom but there is a long couch (not a pullout with a bed) in the living room as well that is pretty comfortable for a child. I keep extra bedding in the bedroom closet. We have a pack and play if you need it.
We also have a guestroom with its own patio down the stairs from the apartment. My family visits occasionally so I don't advertise it but if you need another queen bed you can let me know and, if it is available, you are welcome. (We charge an extra $50 a night for that.)
If you like to cook, the kitchen has the basics: stove, refrigerator, utensils, a few condiments and spices. Let me know if you need anything you can't see there.
The apartment has a coffee station. You can have the option of the Kuerig if you are in a hurry for coffee in the morning (like me) or there is a coffee maker so that you can make yourself a pot. I usually try to have eggs and something baked on hand so you don't have to rush off for breakfast.

We are located in the countryside 4 miles from our historic village of Walpole, NH which has a great chocolate shop and fabulous restaurants, artist co-op, summertime concerts, and a creamery with the best homemade ice cream. Nearby are local craft breweries, antique shops, various museums, hiking trails and the second most climbed mountain in the world. Ski areas are a 45 minute drive. Boston is a 2 hour drive and NYC is a 4 hour drive.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
If you like to camp but prefer a bed, this cabin is for you! You supply all of your own camping equipment and we will provide four walls and a futon in this TINY (8x8) cabin. There is no electricity or running water, we do supply a couple of solar lights, a fire pit and wood, small card table and 2 foldable chairs and a cooler (you bring the ice). An outhouse is a few steps away.
We do not allow dogs.

The space
My Dad and I built this tiny home with the shell of my grandfather's bob house. We want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do!! Guests have access to the pond, kayaks, hammock, and fire pit! Mount Monadnock is about 45 minutes away and there are woods to investigate while here.

The pond is there for your use! Feel free to take the kayaks out for a trip on the water and enjoy the wildlife. A family of beavers come out at dusk and early in the morning and they are so much fun to watch!!

Spend the night in a classic antique 1815 Federal home. Comfortable queen bed with a private bathroom in the hall. A beautiful 1 mile walk on a dirt road and trail to historic Hancock and 7 minute drive to Peterborough Players professional theatre. Have a drink on the patio or in the library. A great basecamp to explore the Monadnock region! There is a friendly cat on the premises, so those with allergies please note. Coffee and locally-made pastries in the morning!

Please note, the 200 year old stairs are fairly steep with narrow treads, and the bedroom is on the second floor. There is a second bedroom for an additional guest in your party, priced at $35, but Airbnb assumes that if two people are coming they are in the same bedroom. So let us know if two of you want both bedrooms! Maximum number of guests we can accommodate is three. The second bedroom is not available December - March.

The room is fully furnished with the left side as the sleeping quarters and the right side the sitting/relaxing area. The room has six windows with picturesque views with darkening curtains for privacy. The room is enhanced with deep shag carpets that add comfort under your feet. There is a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector for your safety.

Our guests rave about the comfort of the queen-sized bed. It has a pillow top mattress covered with pima cotton sheets that are sterilized in hot water before your arrival. All bed linens and throw blankets are provided.

There is a 42-inch flat screen TV with FREE Xfinity cable (over 200 channels), Firestick streaming and FREE Wi-Fi. In addition, there is a sitting chair, a handcrafted bookshelf stocked with books for your reading pleasure and games, a leather swivel recliner chair, and a leather sofa with recliners at each end for your comfort and enjoyment. Seasonally, there is a small infrared fireplace heater along with year round oil, base board heat with a thermostat to control temperature of the guest suite. Many guests use the kitchenette as a workspace area. Pets are not allowed. There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside our property. The apartment is freshly decorated and not child proof. Therefore, children under 12 are not allowed. Maximum capacity is 2 people. On occasion, with prior permission, a 3rd guest has been allowed. There is a $40/night fee that is charged through Airbnb for the 3rd guest. Once in the foyer, there is a locked door that gives full access to the private spacious guest suite attached to our main home. The guest suite is separate from the main house. Guests are not permitted to enter the main house.

Other things to note
We require our guests to be over 21 years old. Guests are given the passcode for the keypad prior to arrival. The keypad is affixed to the entrance door above the door handle. When guests enter the foyer, the entrance to the guest suite is on the left. The key to the guest suite is in the door handle. Guests are required to lock both the guest suite door and the entrance door when they leave the guest suite. We ask guests to leave the guest suite key in the door lock when they check out.

The house is a shared space with other guests, please be respectful and clean up after yourself. There may be a cleaning fee of $50-$100 added if cleaning is necessary.

A peaceful and centrally-located place.
You will have a private bedroom in our house, with a shared bathroom and kitchen space. You will be welcome to use the kitchen as you need, just know we will also be around. We want you to feel at home in our home!

I live here with my mom, and we have a small 10 lb dog. She is very friendly!

Entire private upstairs in beautiful Keene home. Wifi included. 10 min walk to Main St shops, restaurants. 2 min walk to scenic Robin Hood Park (hiking trails, public swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic area). 25 min drive to historic Peterborough. Close to Keene State & Antioch Univ. Near skiing/snowshoeing (Mt Monadnock, Granite Gorge etc.) & boating. Seasonal views of distant hills surrounding the city. Enjoy a socially distanced vacation in this conveniently located, lovely home.

The space
Enter our suite through our shared hallway. Leave your boots on the carpet and hang up your coat in the walk-in closet downstairs, and then make your way up the carpeted stairs to your suite of rooms. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the sitting room (comfortably furnished with sofa-bed, chairs, table, microwave, refrigerator, tea kettle and coffee maker). Soak in the beautiful bath. Relax and rest in the comfortably furnished bedroom. The upstairs bedroom and sitting room can also be locked from within.

Guest access
You'll be able to park in our driveway, enter the house via the front door (in the middle of the front porch), walk in through our shared corridor and climb upstairs to your suite. You can sip a cup of tea or coffee on the front porch on warm summer mornings, and enjoy complete privacy in your upstairs suite. Please lock the front door behind you whenever you exit, including when you are checking out.

Other things to note
Note that the electric sockets aren’t covered, drapery cords are long, door to attic crawl space doesn’t have child locks, nor do the doors in the bathroom, and cleaning supplies are stored beneath the sink and easily accessible. So the suite is not child proof.
As our house rules state: no drugs, no inebriation, no matches, no flames, no partying, no additional guests, no illegal activity.
Please do not move the furniture.
Please do not leave your belongings in the corridor.
No animals please as hosts have asthma and allergy issues.
