Located on the corner of Oleson and Mohawk Trail which is the main intersection of the town of Florida, this log cabin is effectively located in "Downtown Florida". The population of Florida is about 700 and is on top of the Hoosac Mountain Range in the most picturesque portion of the historic Mohawk Trail. You need a car to get around. With a little planning you could have flowers, cute teddy bear or other gifts awaiting your arrival in the cabin. Wayne has built an outdoor oasis complete with the lover's swing, the charcoal grill, the picnic table, the stump table and the romantic string lights to extend the amorous atmosphere even after sun down. Wayne also stacks dry/split firewood neatly right near the firepit so you can start a campfire easily. In the winter Wayne plows the driveway multiple times (the first time before 8am so you will be able to get in/out without any problem). Extras! We run a souvenir/ gift shop called 57parkstreet in nearby Adams and can help you source anything you need to make your cabin stay special. Windsor Cottage is a relaxing, lakeside retreat located on Windsor Lake in North Adams, MA where you will enjoy your own private waterfront! Visit several nearby treetop adventure parks or go white water rafting on the Deerfield River. The 24 acre lake offers non-motorized boating, swimming and spectacular fishing. A row boat, a canoe, 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards are available for you to explore the lake and take in the views of the Hoosac and Appalachian Mountain ranges, including Mt. Greylock. On Wednesday evenings in July & August you can sit on your deck and enjoy concerts that are held in the pavilion across the lake. There is a public swimming area and a playground across the lake as well. The home offers a large great room for relaxing and dining, 2 cozy electric fireplaces, a well equipped full kitchen for all of your cooking needs, one and a half baths, comfortable beds, a walkout basement family room, a huge deck and a spectacular screened in porch where you can relax the night away or take a nap on a unique, twin sized porch swing. Spend an evening cooking s’mores around the outdoor fireplace or cook dinner on the outdoor grill. You can entertain yourself and your family with a multitude of games and over 200 videos. Cable television is provide as well as wifi and three Roku televisions. Cell reception is excellent. New in 2022, we have an eco friendly mini-split air conditioning system and new for 2023 a stacked digital washer and dryer unit and a newly renovated spa like bathroom. Windsor Cottage is a great place to enjoy all of what the Berkshires and Southern Vermont has to offer as the only three bedroom lakeside rental property in the North Adams/Williamstown area. The Neighborhood - The Neighborhood is a short walk to MassMoCA and downtown. Like much of North Adams, the neighborhood is mix of long-term residents, new neighbors and is characterized by varying socio-economic classes. We consider it safe and in transition and expect guests to be quiet and respectful.

North Adams is close to great local ski areas and is ten minutes from both Vermont and New York state. The Appalachian Trial runs through town and the surrounding area is filled with natural beauty and sights.

Cleaning is provided; however, you are expected to follow the check-out instructions prior to your departure. Failure to comply may lead to additional cleaning charges. Because the house is so large, it may take up to four hours to clean after full occupancy. For couples, cleaning is usually more straightforward. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to scale the cleaning fee for the guest party size; for now one size fits all.

Walk to MassMoca and the city center. The house sits on a Quiet street above the city. It does not have an outlet so gives the feel of a gated community.

Private parking is easy peasy in front of the house. There’s usually plenty of parking in town, but maybe not so much during a festival. During this time, leave the car at the cottage and walk to town. Just maybe leave a little energy to walk back up the steep hill to the cottage.

The house has four complete bathrooms. The fourth bathroom has a two piece bathroom in one area with a stand alone clawfoot tub for your enjoyment.

You may be required to sign a waiver for use of the hot tub.

I was having trouble getting into the app on my phone so couldn't pull up the entry code and an unexpected snowstorm sprang up when we were 1-1/2 hours away. Our host was very helpful and gave me instructions over the phone and left the lights on for us so we could find the house. She was wonderful and so was the property. 5 minutes by car to the museum and downtown. Highly recommended!"

You can’t get views any better than this. The coffee shop next door is so convenient and food and coffee are delicious. I was not aware that this property has multiple smaller cabins, hammocks, and picnic tables, yet it feels very private. I will note that the upstairs bathroom shower is old and very small and not pictured. One room had low slanted ceiling that you had to watch for hitting your head. And the 3rd bedroom was a bed in the living area downstairs w/o a door. None of these things had a negative effect on our stay but it should be noted. The downstairs bathroom was new and beautiful with a nice new walk-in shower. I would absolutely stay here again and again!"

Enjoy the view and the outdoor space including the firepit, the Adirondack chairs, the swings, the hammock, the stump table and the park style charcoal grill. Most of all we hope a stay here restores, refreshes, reenergizes and prepares you for the everyday challenges in the real world because time spent here will be magical! Although you're in the middle of the mountains you're still close to art, nature, culture, fun adventures and the convenience of being close to the Mohawk Trail, Charlemont, Berkshire East, North Adams and Williamstown. The Greylock cabin offers total privacy. You will encounter a gate when you enter and a long driveway that puts you amidst one of the highest elevations in the state of Massachusetts. The main level boasts a full kitchen with new top of the line SS appliances, a dining room with a round farm table and 4 chairs, a living room with a corner sofa, TV, a wood stove and a porch deck with a swing. The cabin is decorated with original art work from local artists (North Adams Common Folk) and other collectibles from Lea’s travels. The gorgeous live edge bench spans the front of the cabin so you feel welcome to sit down to remove your shoes or get comfortable and cozy right when you enter. There’s also a second TV to watch your favorite show on any of the streaming services (Netfix, Prime Video, Hulu++). To truly enjoy the outdoor and the nature that surrounds us, we invite you to the outdoor oasis. Be sure to take photos from the Greylock Gate. All the rocks and wood came from the property and we hope you love it! You’ve answered the Mountains’ call so just relax and enjoy! Guests have the entire mountain and our private forest to enjoy! We live nearby however expect to give guests total privacy. We are a text away if you have any questions or need any recommendations. This is the cabin stay that's the Destination. With a little planning you could have flowers, cute teddy bears and other gifts awaiting your arrival in the cabin. This mountain experience is not for the DIY camper who enjoys "roughing it" in the woods. This stay is for the princess/diva/partner who appreciate the good life and wants to be pampered. Wayne has built an outdoor oasis complete with the lover's swing, the two people hammock, the grill, the stump table and romantic string lights to extend the amorous atmosphere even after sun down. Wayne also stacks dry/split firewood neatly right near the rock firepit he built with kindlings, paper so you have everything you need to build a campfire at sunset. In the winter Wayne plows the driveway multiple times (the first time before 8am so you will be able to get in/out without any problem). If you need a photographer Lea will be happy to step in since she's a lot better than the tripod we prepared for your use. She also knows all the instragramable spots on the property. If you plan on bringing a pet please note it on the reservation by paying the pet fee and let us know. We will prepare the dog kennel, the dog bowls and provide extra clean rags and towels for your use. We love dogs and have plenty of space for you and your puppies to enjoy. There's a lot of acres for you and your dog to enjoy. Please be sure to pick up after your dog if it's on the driveway, gravel and garden areas. Otherwise if it's on the rest of the 30 acres nature will take care of it. We run a souvenir/ gift shop called 57parkstreet in nearby Adams and can help you source anything you need to make your cabin stay special. Purchased items will be in the cabin awaiting your arrival (on check in day if possible). A separate invoice from 57Parkstreet will be sent after the reservation is completed. This is a charming apartment– hardwood floors, slanted (Mansard) walls, dormer windows. Its perfect location makes walking to downtown attractions and MassMoCa a breeze, but removed just enough to avoid Main St. noise; that coupled with the amazing views from the balcony are what make this place so special.

Full kitchen, queen bed in bedroom, and the couch in the living room pulls out to a queen bed as well.

You must be up to the task of climbing the stairs to the third floor– the house is tall, so it's a climb. Both staircase entrances are depicted in the photos.

Guests have the entire third floor to themselves. The first and second floors are occupied by us (Carrie & Dane, preschooler Freya, and Doug the dog). Own the sunset when you book the Bear's Den! The property is part of the Wigwam Western Summit which operates a seasonal coffeehouse from May to October. The sunset and the tri-state Mountain View from your apartment is simply stunning and the Hoosac Range Trail literally starts steps from the den. You can do a 1.5 mile round trip hike to sunset rock or a 6 miler to Spruce Hill. Close to Mass Moca, Williams College, Clark Art and North Adams. Snowshoe rental available from December to March.

The best part about the Bear’s Den is the nature that surrounds it. From the comfort of your bed you can enjoy the stunning, unobstructed view of Mt. Greylock and the Taconic Mountains. In the morning you can wake up to misty clouds beneath your feet. The Bear Den has a private entrance, heat, and free parking. The apartment is modern and has a bit of rustic charm with live edge shelves, hand finished bar top.

The apartment is self contained with a kitchen (full size refrigerator, microwave, convection oven, Keurig coffee machine, a bar table, two bar stools, a long bench and the most comfortable memory foam mattress! ) There is a TV, a deck, a full bath with a tub and shower next to the bedroom. The Bear's Den is walking distance to the Hoosac Range Trail head and great for hikers. Just walk up the Wigwam parking lot along the Mohawk Trail about 70 feet and you will see the trail head.

One question we get a lot is how to turn on the shower. 1. Turn on the water 2. On the mouth of the tub spout (where the water comes out) there's a ring (a circular thingie) that you pull (gently) down. The water will come out of the shower head if you pull down on it.

Private parking is easy peasy in front of the house. There’s usually plenty of parking in town, but maybe not so much during a festival. During this time, leave the car at the cottage and walk to town. Just maybe leave a little energy to walk back up the steep hill to the cottage.

The house has four complete bathrooms. The fourth bathroom has a two piece bathroom in one area with a stand alone clawfoot tub for your enjoyment.

You may be required to sign a waiver for use of the hot tub.

The unit is on the second floor. It feels much like the hallway of a hotel without all the people. If you encounter a neighbor, chances are they will be warm and friendly.

There are three rooms in the condo. You enter into a room that contains the living space, kitchen, a table for dining, and a window for plenty of light. It is spacious, with plenty of space to move around. The kitchen is well equipped with a small refrigerator, an electric stove, a coffee pot, a french press, an electric kettle, a microwave, and a toaster. The couch easily pulls out into a queen-size bed. There is one bathroom with a shower that has been recently remodeled. The bedroom has a full bed, a desk, tv, and a comfortable leather chair for relaxing by the window.

The condo has wi-fi and a smart tv where you can easily access your favorite subscriptions.

The Crystal Well is located in one of downtown North Adams most distinctive buildings. The Flatiron dates back to 1830. Take a stroll down historic Eagle Street. Check out the many great restaurants around downtown. Explore our historic Public Library and head up Main Street towards Big Bling and find our world-class contemporary art museum Mass MoCA.

This large two-bedroom apartment occupies the first (parlor) floor of the Small Mansion of Chase Hill, a two-family Victorian home with panoramic views of the city below and MASS MoCA. The apartment is fully private, and the area is very peaceful, though, as with any New England historic home, you may occasionally hear steam noises, footsteps, or floor creaks.

Private 3rd Floor suite in our beautifully updated historic home right on Main Street! Situated downtown, just blocks from MASS MoCA and walking distance to anything you might need. Great for couples, families and groups. The space includes 2 bedrooms, an office, living area and full bath. Every room has stunning views of downtown North Adams and the Berkshire mountains. Access to the apartment is via the grand central stairway, and requires walking through shared space.

The space
Please Note! This is a private suite situated in an owner-occupied house. We also operate an artist residency program and, soon, a gallery on the premises. We call our space the Walkaway House (learn more on the internet). The first floor houses two artist residents in live/work studio spaces, each for a month+ at a time. The gallery space will be situated in the main first floor corridor. The second floor is our private living space (and private kitchen) and the third floor is the guest suite. A shared grand staircase connects all three floors, so please expect to encounter folks in the common hallways.

Our family lives on the second floor and due to the realities of raising a small child (2.5 yrs old!) we can’t promise a completely quiet retreat. We do our best to mitigate sound but toddlers are well practiced at making noise. That being said the sound doesn't travel much at all up to the third floor and many folks have found it to be quite pleasant.

To access the private suite, guests must enter on the ground floor, walk through the future gallery space and up two flights of stairs through our living space. We are friendly, please say hello! We are happy to meet new people and answer any questions you may have. Our dog Eva will likely greet you enthusiastically. You may encounter our artist residents as you come and go, again, please say hello! Once you're up on the third floor, the space is all yours!

The apartment does not have a kitchen, but we do provide a kitchenette area with dishes, a french press, a microwave, and an electric griddle.

North Adams Nook is located in the Flatiron Building nestled between North Church Street and Eagle Street. Our one bedroom condo is on the first floor and only one step up from the street. For security purposes, entering the main door of the building requires a key and auto locks once closed.

Not far from our condo is permit parking; we highly recommended opting to have it in order to avoid fueling metered parking with quarters.

Guest access
Take one step up into the 1st floor of the Flatiron building and you will be steps away from where our unit located. You can use all of the apartment while you are staying with us.

Other things to note
There is a permit parking lot conveniently close by that is $20 for every 3 nights booked. If you would like us to secure parking; we will book that for you and request the additional fee to secure parking.
If you are visiting for special events in the area, the parking fees increase and we will also request the adjusted fee for this.
Alternatively, there is metered parking along North Church Street that is fueled by quarters. These spots are metered from 8am-6pm but not on Sundays or holidays.

FAQ

FOR SKIERS: we are about 20-30 minutes by car from Jiminy Peak, Berkshire East, Hermitage Club. 45-50 mins from Mount Snow. The advantage of staying in North Adams is of course the better food options plus museums, thrifting etc.

FOR GUESTS WITH MOBILITY ISSUES: Like many Victorian houses, the apartment has 2 entrances. For guests with mobility issues we recommend only taking the “grand” entrance located on the front of the house (please let us know in advance and we will open it for you).

Otherwise, normally our guests prefer to use the back “servants” entrance as it is closer to parking. It is quite steep (not a full 21st century staircase) and narrow.

DESCRIPTION

Chase Hill Estate is tucked away on a hill in the middle of North Adams quite literally overlooking Mass MoCA.

Although we are a stone’s throw away from downtown, we are not on a public street. You’ll be staying at a fully detached Victorian with panoramic views of Mass MoCA and the city below, surrounded by gardens and a carriage path—the hill is entirely private with our guests enjoying full access to all outdoor gardens and perks (multiple fire pits, an outdoor Finnish Sauna etc).

For over a century, the two mansions on top of the hill housed the owners of the factory below it (first the Chases of the Sampson Shoe factory, then the Gallup Jones’s of Arnold Print Works—now Mass MoCA)

The main mansion is now home to the Floating Tower Artist Retreat, where we house refugee and immigrant artists (primarily musicians). Our residency is free of charge to the musicians and is directly supported by proceeds from this Airbnb.

This apartment is located on the upper 2 floors of the Small Mansion. It is fully private with no shared spaces.

This apartment occupies the second and third floors of the Small Mansion, a two family Victorian house. This bi-level apartment is FULLY SEPARATE with its own private entrances from different porches. There are no shared spaces with the apartment downstairs.

There are three bedrooms (king, queen, and short full beds) and one bathroom, as well as a combination living and dining room, large kitchen, and a stunning front hallway. This home was intentionally furnished with antiques, modern touches, hardwood floors, and local art.

FOR SKIERS: we are about 20-30 minutes by car from Jiminy Peak, Berkshire East, Hermitage Club. 45-50 mins from Mount Snow. The advantage of staying in North Adams is of course the better food options plus museums, thrifting etc.

DESCRIPTION

Chase Hill Estate is tucked away on a hill in the middle of North Adams quite literally overlooking Mass MoCA.

Although we are a stone’s throw away from downtown, we are not on a public street. You’ll be staying at a fully detached single family home, surrounded by gardens and a carriage path—the hill is entirely private with our guests enjoying full access to all outdoor gardens and perks (multiple fire pits, an outdoor finish Sauna etc).

For over a century, the two mansions and cottages on top of the hill housed the owners of the factory below it (first the Chases of the Sampson Shoe factory, then the Gallup Jones’s of Arnold Print Works—now Mass MoCA)

The main mansion is now home to the Floating Tower Artist Retreat, where we house refugee and immigrant artists (primarily musicians). Our residency is free of charge to the musicians and is directly supported by proceeds from this Airbnb.

The Gardener’s Cottage

This two-story, Cape Cod-style New England home features four bedrooms and one full bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms, while the main floor includes a spacious living room with a piano, a separate dining room, a full bathroom with an original clawfoot soaking tub, a fourth bedroom with a full size bed with additional twin size trundle, and a well-equipped kitchen and pantry. The kitchen comes stocked with a full-size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and all essential cookware and dining items. We also provide high-quality espresso beans for your enjoyment.

The house’s traditional design includes a central chimney and large windows on all sides, bringing in natural light throughout the day. You’ll also have access to two outdoor porches, private parking, and high-speed WiFi.

We have several other listings available within the estate, so if you require more flexibility with dates, please don’t hesitate to contact us—between the listings we are often able to accommodate beyond what the booking calendar suggests.

Guest access
The house is entirely private. Guests have access to the grounds of the estate (about 2.5 acre), containing multiple points of vantage, several outdoor fire-pits as well as a private outdoor wood-fired Finnish sauna.

Create memories & cozy up in this beautiful two bedroom cottage. The space
1 queen sized bed in each bedroom. Living room has a large sectional couch perfect for a kids space sleepover! Both rooms are large enough for a pack and play or crib (must bring with you) or queen sized air mattress available upon request. Both bathrooms could use a little renovating/upgrading and it is in the works, this is why I decided to start with a discounted price! Picture shown of 1/2 bath will be the final product, full bath design has not been decided yet.

Other things to note
I fenced in the backyard by myself for my small dog, though it looks nice may not be stable for large dogs to jump on and certainly not for kids to climb on! Also there is a small approximate 4 inch gap at the bottom where a small dog could scoot under (my 30lb frenchie could not, but did once when she was a puppy) just be aware and watch closely. I want all the smaller loved ones safe and to have a great experience as well!

This lovely cottage sits on 90 acres featuring gardens, fruit groves, forest, and the Hoosic River. Spectacular views of Mt Greylock.

Truly an idyllic location, the perfect retreat for a lover of the outdoors but also close to cultural offerings. Less than 10 minutes to downtown North Adams and Mass MOCA. Williamstown and the Clark Art Institute are nearby as well.

Plenty of long or short hikes, scenic walks and bike rides as well as local restaurants and shops that are easily accessible.

The cottage is an open floor plan with a queen sized mattress and full size futon. Enough space for 2, can sleep maximum 4 adults.

Build a cozy fire in the evening, take in beautiful sunrises and sunsets, walk through the forest on the property to the Hoosic river, take a short bike ride to the pond at Clarksburg state forest.

Please keep in mind that the cottage is not in a completely secluded setting as it sits about 100 feet from our family home. You will see kids playing in the yard or we may be entertaining friends etc. We always respect the privacy of our guests while our family also enjoys this lovely property.

This is a two family home, with owner occupying the first floor, that being said there are stairs to climb this is the second floor apartment. There is a separate entrance with the only shared space being the lower front porch. The space has 2 bedrooms both with queen size beds and large closets for your belongings, one full bathroom with tub, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. There are two covered porches, one at the back of the house and one on the front (balcony) for sitting if you'd like. Also available for your use is the outdoor kitchen equipped with grill, refrigerator and fire pit.

Welcome to our historic home in the heart of North Adams. You will have the entire 3rd floor apartment to yourself, which includes a large balcony deck with great views, full kitchen, bathroom, living room with TV, and bedroom. The third floor is separate from the main house and has two private entrances. Three driveway parking spots available.

The space
Newly renovated! This is a charming apartment– hardwood floors, slanted (Mansard) walls, dormer windows. Its perfect location makes walking to downtown attractions a breeze, but removed just enough to avoid Main St. noise; that coupled with the amazing views from the balcony are what make this place so special.

Full kitchen, queen bed in bedroom, and the couch in the living room pulls out to a queen bed as well.

Guest access
Guests have the entire third floor to themselves. The first and second floors are occupied by us (Carrie & Dane, preschooler Freya, and Doug the dog). We leave guests to themselves, but are available downstairs if anything is needed. We're always happy to meet our guests and share recommendations.

Other things to note
You must be up to the task of climbing the stairs to the third floor– the house is tall, so it's a climb. Both staircase entrances are depicted in the photos.

This spacious hilltop home offers a quiet retreat with a beautiful view of the nearby mountains and is only 0.5 mile walk from downtown and Mass MoCA. The entire house - a live-in basement, cozy living room with sweeping views of the mountains, fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms and three bedrooms - is yours to enjoy for a weekend retreat or for a longer stay. After enjoying all that Berkshires has to offer, relax on the private backyard deck.

The space
This house is located on a hill, so you will have to climb stairs to enter the building. You have a paved parking spot for two cars at the front of the house. The porch at the front offers a beautiful birds-eye view of the street and the nearby mountains. You will enter the house via the first floor/basement, which has a comfortable couch to hide away with a book or plenty of space for the kids to spread out and play.
Second floor hosts a fully equipped kitchen with appliances (range, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster), pots, pans, dishes and utensils. From the kitchen you have access to a private backyard with a deck with patio table and chairs. You will also have the use of a grill for outdoor dining. Living room is surrounded by windows and offers views of the mountains. You can relax on the comfortable couches and watch your favorite shows via Netflix on the Smart tv. A full bath/shower is also located on the second floor.
Third floor holds three bedrooms. The master suite has a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. It has a closet large enough to store away suitcases. Master suite also has a small private workspace with a desk and a chair. Complimentary desktop with WIFI access is also for your use. The second full bath/shower is located in the master suite.
Bedroom 2 has a full size antique iron bed, built-in window seat, views of the mountains, and a large closet.
Bedroom 3 has a twin size bed, a desk, chair and a chest of drawers.

Guest have access to the whole house with the exception of the following spaces, which will be locked:
- Storage room in the basement
- Utility room in the basement
- Wardrobe in the upstairs hallway
- Red & green sheds in the backyard.

Other things to note
This property has multiple sets of stairs and therefore might not be a good fit for anyone with mobility issues.

The paved driveway has space for two cars. Parking is not allowed at the back of the house.

Enjoy wandering through the gardens, harvest some of the vegetables & herbs for cooking or mints for teas.

We are a 10 minute walk from downtown North Adams and 6 mile drive to Williamstown. Bicycles supplied upon request.

The space
We live on the main street, in a safe & secure neighborhood, with daily traffic that dies down significantly after dark and shouldn't disrupt your sleep.

We have lovely neighbors, who will give you a wave and be happy to chat.

The bedrooms are upstairs and there are full baths on both floors.

Guest access
You are welcome to use all common areas inside and outside. Labelled in the refrigerator, we'll leave a basket of basic supplies & extra space for any food you bring or purchase.

If you arriving in the night, we will leave back porch light on and door unlocked as long as someone is at home. Otherwise you will find the keys waiting for you.

Upstairs hall light has 3 switches, one in lower hallway and then two more upstairs at each end of hall.

Please be conservative with fans & lights, shut off when not in use.

Parking, there is parking for 1 guest vehicle in driveway. Please pull to one side to allow for our 2nd car to park.

From parking spot, climb steps into back porch, from there the inner door will bring you directly into the kitchen. Kitchen light switch is at other end of room, chest height to the right of living room entrance.

We'll have keys to both doors waiting for you. The front door lock can be finicky and so we tend to use the back unless someone is at home and house is unlocked.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Across the road from the Deerfield river which is popular for kayaking, tubing, rafting, fishing, or just relaxing. Approximately 15 minutes from Berkshire East ski area, that also offers summer activities, and Zoar outdoor for watersports . Close to North Adams for Mass Moca, Mount Greylock, and Williamstown. 15 minutes from Vermont, and 50 minutes from Mount Snow. Quiet setting in a beautiful area. Please note that our location is nestled into the valley, and that cel service is not generally available, although at times you will get a signal, albeit weak.

This 1600 sqft loft apartment is located at the corner of the two most happening streets of Downtown North Adams - Main Street & Eagle Street. Quintessential stores and restaurants are at your footstep, while MASS MoCA is within walking distance. The apartment has high ceilings, exposed beams, and was furnished in 2021 with an energetic vibe. Whether you intend to work-from-home or just relax, the turn-key operation and well-stocked loft apartment are designed to enhance your experience in town.

The space
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The secondary bedroom also has a queen-size bed but has a washer and dryer in it. In addition to the bedrooms, there are loft beds and two desks available in the super-sized loft. This apartment occupies the entire second floor of a storefront building, and the first floor is a new restaurant in town - Eagle Street Cafe. The water pressure in the bathrooms might be low between 7 am and 3 pm, which is the peak hour of the restaurant underneath.

Your entrance is to the north side of the building in the middle of the alleyway. Free parking is available on Eagle Street during non-winter months and very affordable parking is available at the municipal lot behind the building. Access code to the apartment will be provided to you prior to your arrival.

This listing is for 2 cute bedrooms (with a queen bed in the 1st and a twin bed in the 2nd) in artist occupied home right up the street from MA MOCA. Private bathroom with bath. The rest of the first floor will also be all yours for the period of your visit, including kitchen, dining room, living room with big tv with streaming channels. The owners and their 2 small dogs will be upstairs, but you will have privacy downstairs with your own private entrance. Off street parking. Shared huge yard.

Charming and quirky, this 2nd floor apartment in a 120 year old house is decorated with art and antiques, like the living museum of an eccentric friend. Or a mini theme park for the mind.

We are just blocks from downtown North Adams, on the main road into town. It’s literally a 2 minute drive to MASS MOCA, or a ten minute walk.

The space

In the light filled living room, stretch out on the comfortable new couch, and admire the coffee table made by a master iron smith from The Netherlands.

The kitchen has all the basics, is lined with windows and has a large dining table where you can spread out and enjoy your meals.

You enter the house through the front door in to a private hallway and head right up the stairs to your private 3 bedroom apartment.

Guests check themselves in with a keypad, and park in the front yard driveway.

There is a gravel path to the front porch, stairs to get to the front door, and a full flight of stairs to get up to the 2nd floor.

The traffic on our street is fairly constant from morning until 7 or 8 pm.

It’s an old house, with quirks and oddities about it.Antique furniture throughout. Expect to enjoy eccentric, comfortable and clean. It’s a welcome break from contemporary white on white lodging.

The parking space at the end of the front yard will hold two cars, parked nose to tail. It’s tucked under a large tree, to the left of the house as you are facing it. If you need parking for more than two cars, please let me know!

Look for the reflective orange poles.

Be careful when backing out into the street, since traffic is some times fast moving.
