The space
Features include a beautiful dining room surrounded by windows and backyard patio access to enjoy the lush forests adjacent to the space. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and appreciate the beautiful greenery in the spring, summer and stunning fall colors as the leaves change.

The home is centrally located close-to-town, near Ventfort Hall, which actually borders our backyard!

Everything in Lenox is walking distance to the home 5-10 mins depending on which side of town. You can fancy one of many great restaurants in town, walk to Shakespeare and Company for a day of festivals and shows, or head to Tanglewood (right down the street) for a picnic on the great lawns accompanied by Symphony Number 9.

The home is also close to The Norman Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood, Jacobs Pillow, Bish Bash Falls, Williamstown. And just 10 minutes away from Butternut, Catamount or Bosquet, and a half hour from Jiminy Peak - all great skiing resorts in the wintertime!

- "Check in was straight forward and seamless. Owner communication was friendly and quick. I cannot rave enough about the cleanliness! It's rare to find a vacation rental this clean. Rooms and spaces are well equipped and comfortable. It's nestled into the woods just enough that you aren't bothered by traffic on the nearby road but it's proximity to Lenox is great, easily walkable but out of the busiest part of town. The QR code for the WiFi is cleverly on coasters in the living area, they just happened to be tucked away when we first arrived so it took a minute to figure that out. The TV has streaming services from the owner's accounts. We travel with a Roku stick and the TV mount made it impossible to plug in, but you can find or install most anything va the logged in accounts (we didn't watch much TV, there's plenty other entertainment!) We really enjoyed eating outdoors and in the sunroom. We had evening events most nights so didn't use the firepit or grill but noted they are in really good condition. Window A/C was plenty, the house is shaded most of the time. We come from a dry state and frankly used A/C more for the humidity than the heat (we had a few really warm days when it was truly necessary)."

Our place is a central location in Berkshire County, short drive to restaurants and shops; art and culture, skiing and hiking also close by. You’ll love this former train station( next to the Housatonic RR tracks) which is on three acres between a chapel, the scenic Housatonic River and October Mountain. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The space
Entrance is off a rear deck to a shared entrance foyer. There are three steps from the driveway to the deck and one step into the foyer. Your room is off the foyer, and with the bathroom is fully contained . You will be given keys for the foyer door and the door to your room. You also can control the heat in your room. You have a coffee maker, microwave and a small refrigerator. Iron and ironing board available on request.

It truly is a charming old house. I have happily lived here for over 20 years and have filled my house with things that I collected over the years. I love art and my house reflects that. This private room is large, has plenty of windows and gets nice morning light. It is clean, simple, and tastefully decorated.

You will have access to a private hallway leading to your room. The bathroom is shared and towels, toilet paper, and hairdryer will be provided. I’m sorry but my living room is off limits at this time due to COVID and I can recommend breakfast places within walking distance and I will offer tea and coffee.

Private 3rd floor walkup 1 bedroom apartment, separate entrance around the back and up an outside staircase. But when you get there, there is a full kitchen, private bath, air conditioning. Lovely furnishings. In town location. 2-5 min walk to to several restaurants including Haven Cafe/Bakery, Zinc, Cafe Lucia, Frankie's, Firefly, Brava, Alta, Prime and more for dinner. 1 mile to Tanglewood and Shakespeare and Co. About 1/3 mile walk on sidewalks to Lenox Town Hall bus stop to NYC and Boston.

The space
This is a separate private apartment at the top of our house. To get to the apartment you walk around the house and up a 3 flight staircase. This is a trek but worth it. There is a king size bed in the one bedroom, a light-filled living room with a large sectional sofa and TV, a dining room and a full bath with shower and a kitchen with dishwasher, full refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and dishes/glasses. There is no access to laundry; There is a laundromat 1 block away. There is a small landing to sit outside at the top of the staircase. There is no yard availability for guests. Not suitable for children.

This is a walk to town and walk to near by Kennedy Park location. There is free parking on the opposite side of the street.

Other things to note
This is definitely a unique location but that requires entering our back yard and walking up several flights of stairs to get there. We have three dogs that might be in the yard. Walter is the small black one. Penny is a white lab looking dog. Lola is big and very old. Penny may bark at you in excitement but is very friendly. Just say hi Penny.

It is a short drive to restaurants and shops. Adjacent to the George Darey Housatonic Valley Wildlife Management Area.

Entrance is off a deck to a shared foyer. You will be given keys to the foyer and the door of this second floor apartment. You control the temperature in the unit. There is a Keurig coffee maker with a supply of coffee needs for the first night. Dishes, pots and pans, toaster, microwave are all provided for your use. There is no dishwasher but a dish drainer and soap is provided. There is an iron and ironing board.

There is a Queen bed in one bedroom and two twins beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen has a gas oven/stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Hello friend! As I will be residing elsewhere for some months, I am excited at the opportunity to be able to share this cottage - my primary home - with travelers to the Berkshires. This is a peaceful, quiet place, renovated in 2021. I hope, through its simple and cozy design, that the cottage will reflect and augment those natural characteristics for which the Berkshires are so renowned: tranquility; groundedness; presence. And proximity to great food (just a stroll down the hill).

The space
The cottage is my home, and so is fully furnished, with a full kitchen. I do not have a television, however, there is wifi internet (and a stereo/record player). This is only a one bedroom home, with a cozy (but not pullout) couch to sleep an extra guest, or a couple kids; that sort of thing. Although I am happy to allow dogs, there is an associated pet fee, and I would ask that they not be allowed on the couch. Alas, I cannot allow cats (allergies...). There is a washer and dryer in the downstairs half bath, off the kitchen.

It's just a short walk into town (it's 7 minutes or so, downhill there, and uphill back). It's another short walk up the hill, just past the church, to access Kennedy Park.

Heating note: The Cottage uses radiators for heat, and they clank! When the heat kicks on, they will clank clank clank for 10 minutes or so. Nothing to be worried about (or afraid of).

I will send a wifi code once you've booked your stay. Instructions for using the stereo/record player will be in the cottage.

The space
Thanks so much for your interest in our apartment. This private guest apartment is attached to the main house where I live with my husband and 3 kids, Mia - 10, Ari - 13 & Nico - 15. The apartment has it's own private entrance and balcony off the living room that overlooks our beautiful back yard. The kitchen is on the first floor when you enter the space and the large living room, cozy bedroom and large bath are up a short set of stairs. The large bath has just been fully renovated and is beautiful! There is a full washer and dryer in a closet in the kitchen. The large living room, bathroom and bedroom are located above our 2 car garage so it is set away from the main part of the house. Its your own private retreat yet close to all to explore about the Berkshires.

We have a beautiful back yard with a cute chicken coop:) We will leave you fresh eggs too! Our hens, Soul, TT, Luna, Lolo, Lola, Curry, Sunny, Magic and Coco are super friendly.

Other things to note
The kitchen does not have a stove. However, there is an electric frying pan, toaster oven, microwave and an electric hot pot to boil water. Plus we are located in downtown Lenox, a 2 minute walk to all the great restaurants!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Guest House in Lenox, 10 minutes from Tanglewood and 5 minutes from Guido's ! Pool access, gorgeous garden, spacious, graceful living space with modern furniture and huge windows looking out to views of October Mountain. Walk-in shower plus an extra half bath. Lounge around the large pool in our perennial garden, relaxing after a night of fun at Jacob's Pillow, Shakespeare & Company or other artistic venue. Perfect for hikers and birders, too.

Other things to note
There's plenty of hot water in the Guest House. The pool, however, is not heated.

Eastover is a 600 acre holistic retreat center only minutes away from the center of downtown Lenox, ideal for teachers, groups, organizations and companies to host retreats, workshops, and group events. It offers spacious studio facilities including yoga studios, meditation rooms, outdoor spaces, conference meeting rooms, and even a commercial kitchen for cooking classes.

This adorable cabin is your perfect escape for rest and relaxation. This is a perfect place for people coming to the Berkshires for Tanglewood or any of the other wonderful things the area has to offer. The cabin is located down a path through the woods about 100 yards from the main house. We are excited to share our cabin with you.

The space
The cabin offers a private setting close to all attractions of the Berkshires. There is a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining and living space as well as a cozy corner with a queen bed. It is a studio set up so it’s open and spacious.

Guest access
The cabin is located down a path adjacent to the main house. If we happen to be on the property, we are very friendly and welcoming hosts and love the opportunity to interact with the people we share our property with.

Other things to note
The cabin has one queen bed. The deck is a perfect place for a yoga mat or a meditation cushion. We also provide two chairs for use on the deck. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods.

There is no wifi in the cabin however cell access is good and hotspots work well. I know for sure that Verizon and T-Mobile work well. There is wifi at the house so if you needed you could always sit on the patio by the main house. Info is provided in the guidebook.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located duplex apartment. Less than 300 yards away, enjoy downtown Lenox. Featuring several fine dining options or stop by the local Heritage Tavern for pub food & drafts. Enjoy the local roastery at the Lenox coffee shop or experience the Haven cafe & bakery. Several shopping boutiques along the way or visit the Lee Premium Outlets shopping center only 5 miles . Come enjoy the Berkshires and experience the town of Lenox!

Our two story duplex apartment is spacious and cozy all in one. Home owners (hosts) live on adjacent side of this duplex apartment. Although the driveway and backyard is shared with the home owners, the entire rental space is private from adjacent apartment with the exception that the walls/frame structure is connected (duplex apartment). Built in 1910, this charming duplex has been updated to create a more modern feel. The kitchen features all new stainless steel appliances and common kitchen essentials. The living room includes a comfy reclining couch and reclining rocker loveseat to enjoy streaming services on the smart tv (Cable service not available). Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining room with a 4 chair/one bench table that seats up to six. Upstairs is two bedrooms with a queen mattress, dresser(s) and closet. A queen size air mattress for additional sleeping arrangements is also available with linens . Upstairs features a small dedicated office space and reading nook.
Down the hall, a spacious bathroom upstairs features a tiled bath/shower with detachable shower head and a washer/dryer. Extra linens and two sets of towels provided. Additional toiletries including a hair dryer and ironing board available allowing our guests to travel without worry. Checkout this wonderful getaway for individuals, couples & good friends!

One dedicated parking spot in back (PLEASE NOTE) Parking arrangement will be "tight" in the driveway if vehicle is SUV or bigger.
Off-street parking in front of the house from May-November has ample space for additional vehicles. There is a slight incline from the road up the driveway to the back door. The front door is accessible for guests parking on the road by climbing less than 6 steps (no railing)
