Back on the market after a year of renovations. This Private 4-bedroom home plus 2-bedroom guest house on 30 secluded acres is only minutes from Woodstock town.

Enter the property along a long winding driveway, passing the pond and barn along the way to your own private oasis in the woods.

The main level features an open kitchen that flows into the living and dining area which features panoramic glass doors, a stone fireplace, a beamed ceiling, hardwood floors, and a wooden dining table that easily accommodates eight guests. After dinner get cozy on the extra lux depth couches and chairs in front of the oversized stone fireplace. Adjacent to the main living area you will find the den which includes a wood-burning fireplace, billiards table, dartboard, leather sofa and 55" TV.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the bluestone patio with views of the pond, stream, and Overlook mountain. The patio includes outdoor sofas, lounge chairs, dining tables, propane grill and two propane heaters. Take a short stroll up to the private 10 acre hay-field which has a natural stone fire-pit perfect for roasting marshmallows.

The main level of the house has three bedrooms, all with queen beds. Two of the guestrooms share a full bath while the 3rd guestroom has an on-suite 3/4 bathroom. The laundry room with LG washer and dryer is also located on this level.

Upstairs you will find the loft and master bedroom. The loft includes a daybed and office desk. At the end of the day escape to the oversized master suite with its handmade wooden king bed, sitting area, dual vanity sinks, double shower, and freestanding tub with panoramic views of nature.

The guest house is a fully renovated barn where the family used to make maple syrup. The "sugar shack" as it's known, has two bedrooms and one bathroom with walk-in shower. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a large walk-in closet with room for a pack-n-play (included). The second bedroom has a queen bed with a twin trundle below. The main room has 30-foot vaulted ceilings with a wood-burning fireplace, radiant heat floors, a dining table for 10, and a modern open kitchen.

The space:
Once you enter the sunny enclosed porch, kick off your shoes and make yourself comfortable on the lounge chair. Inside you'll find our open-concept first floor, including a brand-new kitchen equipped with a gas range and oven, water dispensing fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and complimentary coffee/tea station. The dining area has seating for 6 with an additional 2-person island. Relax on the sectional in the spacious living room, which is also an extra queen sleeper sofa bed. There is an electric fireplace, Nest climate control, power blinds, and tv. Wifi and Youtube TV are included with your stay.

At the top of the stairs, you'll find the marble-tiled bathroom. It has an enclosed glass shower/tub, large vanity, and built-in storage. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a portable magnifying lighted mirror, a hair dryer, and a clothes steamer.

There are two bedrooms with queen beds. Each bed has a brand new Nectar mattress/pillows and Brooklinen bedding that will make you wish you could stay even longer. Extra linens are also available. The first bedroom has a tv, free-standing storage, and a full-length mirror. The second bedroom has a bench, closet, and laundry space that you can use anytime.

Our cabin is wonderfully situated just steps from a beautiful rushing creek! It is located conveniently between Woodstock and Saugerties, and just a few miles from the NYS Thruway Exit 20. The cabin has one bedroom with a full-sized bed, sink and small bathroom with shower and toilet. There is small eating area and a kitchenette where you can prepare simple meals.
A few feet away is a screenhouse, grill and picnic table, all overlooking the stream. Walk around the main house to a large swimming pool where you can relax on a float, swim laps and keep your beverages cool in the fridge.
This is a cozy cabin - the bed is full not queen-sized, and the kitchenette does not have a stove (there is a one-burner induction cooktop). It is perfect for a single person or couple who want privacy, the sound of the stream, and proximity to everything the Hudson Valley has to offer!

There are two other apartments (100 feet away) on the property, as well as the owners' home. All apartments and the cabin share the pool, sauna and screen house.

The unit for rent is a two bedroom, one bath on the first floor, featuring a walk-in tile shower. A full kitchen with all stainless appliances and dishwasher, a Keurig single cup & 12 cup coffee pot plus toaster oven available for your use. Large cutting board island is perfect for preparing all your meals in a functional manner. We provide all of our guests with coffee and tea choices, sugar & sugar substitutes as well as half & half upon arrival. Parking is about a 100 yards from cabin. You will need to walk/hike up a steep rocky road to get to the cabin. Do not attempt to drive all the way up to cabin. The waterfalls you see in the pictures are not on the property. They are behind the cabin on State land along some of the hiking trails. The streams are seasonal so you will not always see waterfalls. The loft in the cabin is for storage and is not accessible. Clean towels and linens are supplied.

There's something for everyone in this simple and comfortable home centrally located in the Hudson Valley. Relax in this 3-bedroom home surrounded by woods while knowing that everything you need is a short distance away. Less than thirty minutes to Woodstock, Kingston, and Hudson, NY. This sweet and stylish pre-fab is complete with a full kitchen, an indoor fireplace, and even bunk beds for the kiddos.

The house is one level and opens to a large open area with a dining room, and sunk-in kitchen, and living room. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms make up the rest of the house. There is a front porch with a few stairs to climb to get to the front door and a covered back porch with a fenced in backyard. Built in 1999, and with a lot of the original features, I like to call it “Y2K-chic.”

Summary:

The Space:
The City Slickers Farmhouse is a colorful, cozy two-bedroom getaway home with whimsical details designed to make you smile, and luxurious accessories to make you feel pampered.

“Buddy” wall hooks welcome you at the kitchen door to take your hat and coat, and then to make you laugh throughout the house!

The farmhouse kitchen has been modernized but not taken to the future! There are an assortment of dishes and good-quality cookware (much of it Cuisinart) so you can enjoy preparing a meal. Plus, outside there is a new gas grill (old grill is pictured); as well as a vintage picnic table and chairs, plus not-so-old lounge chairs facing the fireplace.

In the living room you’ll find an L-shaped sofa which is both wide and long enough for an adult to sleep. The coffee table opens to form a desk and also to reveal storage for games and puzzles.

The large first-floor bathroom with “standing stones” is industrial chic with a gentle rain shower.

On the second floor, the spacious primary bedroom has a new Sealy king-size mattress and two comfortable lounge chairs—perfect for reading or relaxing! There is an antique drafting board if you’re inclined to draw!

The minimalistic second bedroom has a firm queen-size mattress and a view of the rocks behind the house. Bang and Olufsen turntable platters and components adorn the walls and take you on a virtual trip to Denmark…or the MoMA!!!

Also with a view of the rocks, the upstairs TV room has a new firm sofa where a petite/ slim person (or a child!) could sleep. It has an abundance of pillows, poufs, and cozy throws for relaxing in front of the tube!

The upstairs “spa” bathroom has an original claw-foot tub suitable for soaking—no shower. Please note this quirky, charming room has a short door and low ceiling!

When you go outside it sounds like rain as you hear the waterfall from across the street. And it’s only about ten minutes from Woodstock! The Village of Saugerties has unique shops for your enjoyment. Hunter Mountain and Catskill are close by as well. Also on the plus side, the road, which was just repaved in mid-August 2023, is plowed in the winter!

You can easily fit two cars in the driveway; possibly more if they’re small and you’re careful!

New mini-splits provide AC and supplemental heat to the radiated floors

Wifi has download speeds greater than 300 Mbps. The owner has worked from here for 4 months without issues. There is not a dedicated space for working, but there are ample spots to choose from.

There is a not-so-new but functional washer and dryer you may use.

Casa Fuego has recently been gut renovated. It is a chef's dream with top of the line Kitchen Aid appliances, a grand island and many other amenities. Upstairs, there are two cozy queen sized bedrooms, and a luxury bathroom with a heated toilet and bidet. The house also has a level two electric car charger.

Downstairs is an open floor plan that connects the kitchen to the former truck room.

Guests can access the entire space via coded entry. There is a parking spot directly in front of the house and one other along the fence on the side of the house. The village has free parking across the street that is usually available.

Saugerties is a quintessential Hudson Valley town. A great place to go and get away from the city for a day, weekend, week or month.

No car, no worries - The Rhinecliff train station is a 25 minute drive and the village is less than a 5 minute walk away.

The sleeping loft is graced with two leaded windows that bring in lights of the rainbow. There is a full-size mattress with a cover in the sleeping loft, but please bring your own sleeping bags (or whatever bedding you prefer).

Take advantage of the encompassing woodlands, hopefully check out the wildlife, and nearby trails like the renowned Kaaterskill Falls.

We crafted the sort of space we craved for a getaway: an inspiring, peaceful home with vintage furniture, a big dining table for long dinners with friends, within walking distance of small local shops and restaurants.

The space
Our bungalow is just an 8 minute walk to Saugerties Main Street, 2 minute drive to HITs, less than twenty minute drive to both downtown Kingston and Woodstock, and less than thirty minute drive to downtown Hudson.

We’re also a thirty minute drive to skiing at Hunter Mountain and a forty minute drive to Windham Mountain.

Our home is a newly renovated village bungalow with three bedrooms (including a private second-level loft) and one bathroom. The house has three productivity areas in different rooms of the home, 300 mbps WiFi internet, and a Samsung Frame 55” QLED 4K smart-TV. The house has original 1920s door framing and molding, complimented by updated appliances, windows, and siding. We’ve curated comfortable, design-forward vintage furniture and beds, high quality linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fully renovated bathroom. Bedroom 1 also has a Peloton stationary bike for those who can’t skip a workout!

Quiet room in a beautiful, spacious home which sits directly on a wide stretch of the Esopus Creek. The home is shared with two other adults who live there full time. One of the many highlights of the house is a large, bright kitchen with an elegant gas stove range. This very comfortable private room with queen bed, gorgeous bath, frig and microwave is also right in the Village, steps from Krause's Chocolates and Diamond Mills. The space
I hope you all have read the reviews about how "sparkling" clean my space(s) are. Just to clarify, I have instituted a 72 hour vacancy of my rooms whenever possible after they are occupied and vacated...then the cleaners will use viricide, alcohol, bleach and their usual cleaning products to make sure ALL surfaces including door handles, light switches, coffee maker, fridge and microwave and EVERYTHING ELSE is wiped down and disinfected. The 72 hour vacancy is to protect my guests as well as my cleaning people.

Steps from all that Saugerties has to offer - restaurants, antique stores, boutiques - named one of the coolest villages in the New York Times. This lovely bedroom w/private bath is air conditioned and very convenient - bring your kayak! The Beach offers a playground and outdoor cooking. I have had triple glazed windows installed. There is also a smartlock on the front door.

Parking lot one door away, please park where it indicates "designated overnight parking". Room includes a new queen size bed, beautiful private bath, small refrigerator and microwave, coffee maker. Early check-in, late check-out is sometimes possible. I have instant book, so if the space is not booked for the night before, or the night after I can accommodate you, there is a $40 fee for early check-in or late check-out. At times, there may be a guest in the other room upstairs, so please be quiet and respectful, and leave the room as you found it. Pet Fee $40, Lost Key $35.

A short ride to Woodstock, a little further to great hiking. Ski mountains Windham and Hunter about 1/2 an hour away. Pets accepted - extra fee $40. This is right in town, so there is some traffic noise during the day. There are earplugs in the front bedrooms for your use.

THE CHAMPION of Blue Mountain is a freshly renovated vintage 1960 Champion Trailer with modern comforts that is on protected land with views of a stream and a pond. It is located in the Blue Mountain part of SAUGERTIES just a few minutes from the village and is about 15 minutes from WOODSTOCK, KINGSTON, CATSKILL as well as being close to many special Hudson Valley attractions and activities. THE CHAMPION is near OPUS 40, The Catskill Animal Sanctuary, The Woodstock Museum, George J Terpening Sr. Memorial Park, and other popular area attractions. It's a wonderfully romantic, fun place to stay that has internet access, super fast WIFI, Netflix/Roku and a DVD player. Coffee maker and coffee are included also. The spacious built-on enclosed porch is an added bonus for watching the horses and for enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. The space is recently renovated in Modern/Contemporary style with new appliances. Guests may enjoy the entire trailer and the porch. Guests must stay in the immediate area of The Champion. Guest are NOT allowed to walk around the property or into the woods. There are many deer so ticks are present in the area on grassy places.

Please let us know ahead of time if you want to use the futon couch as an extra bed. There is a additional $20.00 charge to cover the extra laundering. This may be contained in the 'SPECIAL OFFER' part of the booking quote. We regret to say that we cannot accept any reservations that begin on a Sunday as we have no housekeeping services on Sundays. The Champion has steps and is not disabled and wheelchair accessible. About EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS: The hosts suffer from severe animal allergies. We often clean the space for guests and we frequently use the place ourselves. As such, we can only welcome human guests to our house to preserve our own good health. Regrettably, we will not be able to accept any reservations which include pets or support animals because these animal allergies are a health and safety hazard for us as and can cause us to suffer serious, long term health issues.
The property is protected and monitored by the EPA and other agencies. No dogs (or other animals) are allowed to be walked on the property or in the neighborhood. Any pollution by animal waste or anything else is strictly forbidden on and near the property as the local streams feed the local reservoir.

The house sits at the edge of 5 acres of forest at the base of a hill. Right off highway 32 and convenient to Saugerties Village and NYS Thruway. Rural, country house with modern stylings and convenience.

There are two king bedrooms upstairs plus a sunroom on the ground floor with a full sized futon and large sectional in the living room.

The sunken living room is spacious and has a 55" TV and AppleTV for watching movies and hanging out. Strong wifi (Spectrum Cable 100mbps) and cell service out here.

The home has a classic wood burning stove to provide heat (firewood is provided). ACs provided for each room in the summer.

Outside, cook out on the a gas bbq then move to the fire pit for hanging out with a drink.

This cozy cabin was previously a pony stable that was converted into a finished studio. There is a king sized bed, high speed wifi, and a kitchenette with a stove, oven and mini refrigerator. We gut renovated the bathroom in February 2025.

Best described as cozy, the cabin is big enough for two people to relax comfortably. Direct access to a large and private yard provides additional space to go on a walk with your dog, BBQ and relax by the fire.

The apartment is in a 100+ year old house. There is a small living room and kitchen downstairs with two small bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Note: the house is slanted and old but always clean and comfortable.

Guests can access the entire space via coded entry. There is a parking spot directly in front of the house and one other along the fence on the side of the house. The village has free parking across the street that is usually available.

Other things to note
Saugerties is a quintessential Hudson Valley town. A great place to go and get away from the city for a day, weekend, week or month.

No car, no worries - The Rhinecliff train station is a 25 minute drive and the village is less than a 5 minute walk away.

If you do have a car, there is even more to access. It is easy to get to:
-Hunter & Windham Mountains
-Kingston, Hudson, Stone Ridge, Catskill & Rhinebeck
-State Parks & Hikes - Minnewaska, Overlook Mountain, Kaaterskill Forest, Ashokan Rail Trail

We are close to HITS, Hunter Mtn and all of the wonderful activities of the Hudson Valley. This is a very peaceful cabin, steps from the stream. We are perfect for single guests or a maximum of two people (including children) as the cabin is quite small. The cabin is private and set in the woods, yet steps away from the pool, sauna, screen house. We are a carbon neutral property, with a large solar array and a Level 2 EV charger.
