This 2 bedroom home in Trailhead Village townhouse community comfortably accommodates 6-9 people. Bedrooms are located upstairs with a full bathroom in the center hallway. First bedroom has a queen bed, ans second bedroom has 1 queen and 2 twin beds. On the first floor, there is an air mattress available for 2 extra people, which fits perfectly in the living room. Sofa comfortably sleeps an additional person. The kitchen comes well equipped for entertaining with plenty of dishes, glasses, cookware, bakeware, and most importantly a dishwasher. Outside you can relax and enjoy firing up the gas grill on the deck. Full sized washer and dryer are located in the half bathroom on the first floor for your convenience. There is wireless internet through out the home, DVD player, spare HDMI cable, and Roku TVs. Sorry, no cable - but there are plenty of books too!!

Summer Months: There is no A/C. General rule of thumb for keeping the home cool – Open windows at night, and keep all shut after 9am to trap in the cool air. There are fans available in every room as well.

The Yard:

So much can be said for this private nook of an oasis. It is a gem. Here you will find peace, tranquility, and harmony, a stones throw from town, here you are truly in a unique hidden get away of nature. During the day, Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall; it is sun-drenched and alive from the sounds and view of birds to wild bunnies and much more. The evenings proves to be beyond spectacular. Envision being surrounded by fairy lights gently cascading from the post and beam fencing, as you immerse yourself in the evening stars, to the point, you feel they are sooo close, you can almost dip your hand into the Milky Way all while you are sitting enjoying the warmth from embers of the fire pit or the elements of the hot tub. It's an area awaiting your fondest memories.

The shed and area off the main house is the main house's private area.
The brick patio/hot tub/fire pit/upper portion of yard are all shared areas.

Important Information:

Apartment is in a owner occupied house. My two children and I frequently use the main house. At times, my three small dogs (one shih tzu-maltese and two minature king charles cavalier) are with me up in the main part of the house. During the winter, when my children and I are not using the main part of the house, my brother-in-law uses it and works from there. We are quite family people and are looking for liked minds as renters. We believe in living with quite reasonable noise levels. The house quite hours are 11 PM - 9 AM, with other hours, we ask for noise levels to kept at a reasonable level. The noise hours reflect both inside and outside.

HOT TUB & FIRE PIT: The hot tub and fire pit open hours are 10 AM - 10 PM. After using the Hot Tub, the cover must be placed back on and latches locked. No open food or beverages are to be left outside.

- House is owner occupied two family house. Atmosphere is a family environment. Parties, loud music, and smoking are not permitted. Hot Tub, Grill is not included with the rent but certainly you are welcome to use. In the Winter, it can be temperamental, and Garden are shared for both apartments, occupants are asked to be considerate of allowing time for both sides use all amenities and to be mindful not to be in the hot tub before 10:00 AM and past 10:00 PM as the other apartment may be sleeping.

The apartment and the house each have their own covered porches in the backyard as their private space.

The apartment and the main house share the patio with its amazing gardens, hot tub, small fire pit and grill that is thought of as a shared out door kitchen.

The grill runs on propane tanks and is a shared responsibility. Do not leave the tank empty for the next use. Each user is expected to turn the gas off after each use and refill the tank when depleted. The grill Must be fully cleaned after every use. This is a bonus area that is to be used with common respect for multi family house use and purposes. I did not put this in the amenities, as it is an amazing grill, I consider it an outdoor kitchen. However, it is older and temperamental in Winter/colder months. I am not replacing this just yet. So I do not want to guarantee this as an amenity. With that said, you are welcome to use the grill. I run it with the honor system, meaning you use it, you replace the gas for the next use.

**Absolutely No food or beverages are to be left outside. All areas are to be kept fully clean and free of trash and debris.**

The shared fire pit is meant for small fires only with a 3 log maximum. The fire pit, although portable, it must stay stationary on the bricked patio. No fire pits are allowed on the covered patio. The patio is wood and this is a strict safety precaution.

Apartment must be broom swept, vacuumed, dirty dishes washed, and beds stripped of linens before departing. Linens and towels should be left in the tub. All food and beverages are to be removed from the refrigerator. No trash is to be left behind. You must take all trash with you. Keys must be left in the key lock box. Doors are to be locked behind you.

Getting Around:
You can easily walk from the cabin to Tannersville shops and restaurant. It's an enjoyable walk. Main Street has a sidewalk. There is also my favorite Deli at the intersection with Main street where you can catch breakfast and lunch.

This upstate getaway is the ideal home to escape the city, breathe deeply and have fun. Our home was hand-built in the 80's and we've preserved the perfect nostalgia of that moment - pre cellphones! - while updating it to meet all contemporary needs.

This cabin has two calm and lovely bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The primary bedroom upstairs has a king-size bed, beautiful views, an en-suite bathroom with shower and tub, and a skylight that brings in glorious light. The queen bedroom downstairs is also beautiful, super comfortable and has a washer/dryer for all your post-skiing and hiking needs.

The house has two full bathrooms and a modern kitchen with everything you need to have delicious meals together or just be able to make your own cup of coffee to bring out onto the deck for some fresh air and star gazing.

The beautiful large deck is surrounded by woods and has a hot tub that can fit your full party for apres-ski and apres-hike sessions with a glass of wine and good conversation.

We are kid and pet friendly! (please note that a $75 pet fee will be added upon booking with a pet, for extra cleaning). However, we ask that you do not bring more than two well behaved dogs (max), and you must let us know at booking if you plan to bring dogs. Cats cannot be accommodated. Sorry cats!

We also have parking for multiple cars in the driveway. The house is about a two hour drive from NYC or a two hour 10 min train ride (Amtrak) from Penn Station to Hudson, NY then a 30 minute drive.

Please remember this place is special to us. It's not a hotel, and please treat our space with respect. If any problems arise, let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to take action quickly so that you can have a wonderful stay. However, there is no one living on site 24/7.

There is no on-premise trash collection. For stays less than a week, the housekeep will take care of your trash at the end of your stay. For stays longer than a week, trash and recycling will need to be taken to the local waste transfer station located 7 mins away off the main road. There is no charge for recycling and trash is $3/bag.

Our HOA does not permit on-premise trash collection because of past issues with bears and wild animals.

COVID notice: We have recently added to our home multiple Molekule Air Purifiers with PECO (Photoelectrochemical oxidation) Technology, to destroy viruses, bacteria, mold, and pollutants in the air. We have enhanced all cleaning procedures and products to ensure the space is COVID-safe--we stay here occasionally, so you get the same cleaning standard we set for ourselves.

The first floor has a downstairs (covered) deck, front door with keyless entry, and the foyer opens up to the two main bedrooms with exposed wood cabin vibes, and main full bathroom. One bedroom has a large standing desk with a work from home setup: wireless keyboard, mouse, 34” wide (dual screen) UHD monitor, and docking station (just plug you laptop into the lightning cord on the dock and it should work seamlessly). There is a large washer/dryer in the foyer as well.

Up the stairs to the main floor, which has the kitchen, dining area, another full bathroom, and large but cozy living room with large couch, assorted comfy armchairs, fireplace, and cathedral ceilings. The living room has 2 sets of sliding glass doors (one on each side of the room) which exit to a wraparound deck with BBQ, seating/table, and adirondack chairs. Up the stairs to the third floor loft, which boasts a queen size bed, full size bed, pull out couch, and a work from home desk setup with 30” monitor, wireless keyboard & mouse, and docking station (just plug you laptop into the lightning cord on the dock and it should work seamlessly).

We have Google Nest Wifi with multiple access points to ensure fast and consistent wifi in all areas of the home. There is also AT&T and Verizon cell service here.

-This is a private, family-friendly community and not suitable for events or parties. Quiet time is enforced from 11 PM to 7 AM.
-There is 1 parking spot available per townhome with additional flex parking that needs to be reserved. Please let us know prior to arriving if your group will be arriving in more than one car.
-Please note that the community does not have garbage removal due to the wildlife in the area. Guests are responsible for disposing of their garbage and/or recycling at the county transfer station 5 min away (1 Hylan Rd, Hunter NY), or take home. Recycling is free, and trash costs $2/bag.

• All guests must be 25 y.o. or older, except children accompanied by parents.

• This is a private, family-friendly community and not suitable for events or parties. Quiet time is enforced from 11 PM to 7 AM.

• No smoking anywhere on premises

• There is 1 parking spots reserved for each townhome. There is additional flex parking that we can reserve in advance. Please reach out to us if you plan to arrive with more than 1 car.

• Please bring your own wood for the fireplace (you can buy wood at Tops Friendly Market which is only 2 miles away from the property and open daily until 9 pm).

Perfect for a family or group ski trip, hiking excursion, or just rest and relaxation. The area is quiet and laid back, with downtown Tannersville just minutes away, with shopping, dining and other town services. It’s 10 min from Hunter, 25 min from Windham, and 40 min from Belleayre, and surrounded by several beautiful hiking trails and natural attractions. The locals are all kind, down to earth, and welcoming, and the town has a peaceful vibe to it. It’s a great escape.

The space
The 4-unit townhome building was built in the 2000’s. The unit consists of 1,200 sq ft of interior living space and 500 sq ft of an elevated deck and a sitting area outside the ground floor entrance.

The entryway has a mud area as well as two bedrooms and a full bathroom, and the loft has a queen sized bed, with sleeping arrangements available for up to (7) guests. NOTE: PLEASE, NO ADULTS ON THE TOP BUNK OF THE BUNK BED IN THE 2ND (KIDS’) BEDROOM.

There is a full kitchen with marble countertops on the ground floor as well as a living area with TV, games, fireplace, and dining area. The loft has a bed and dresser and can be used as either a sleeping area (sleeps 2 additional guests) and/or a remote work space. There are numerous things to do in the area, all of which is included in the guide book.

An infant/toddler bath and foldable high chair are stored beneath the bunk bed in the kids’ room on the ground floor - feel free to use as needed, and clean properly prior to departing.

There are closets and drawers that are secured with locks. They are there for a reason; please don’t tamper or try to force your way in to anything locked.

This cozy two bedroom apartment is located directly on Main Street in the heart of Tannersville, NY. With plenty of space, this unit is perfect for relaxing after a long day out on the mountain or entertaining before a night out on the town. This apartment is conveniently located and is walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops that the Village of Tannersville has to offer. All while being a 5-minute drive to Hunter Mountain and a 15-minute drive to Windham Mountain!

The space
This brand new two bedroom unit is one of four in the building and is located on the second floor. The space includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms (with a walk-in shower), living room, and full kitchen. The building itself has just undergone a major renovation and will also soon be home to a restaurant which will fill the first floor.

The property is in the center of town and walking distance to everything that Tannersville has to offer! Just to name a few, Last Chance Cheese Shop, The Pantry on Main, Slopes Nightclub, Rooted Flower Shop, Jolie Mountain Top Spa, and Camp Catskill all surround the property.

The space
Please note that this is a 100+ year old house! You should expect the charm and quirks that come with a century home: some creaky floors, bedrooms without closets, older fixtures, etc.

The downstairs living space features a full kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom with a stall shower and washer/dryer. The kitchen is equipped with the cooking basics: pots and pans, baking sheets, utensils, a crockpot, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc. We have a Keurig coffee maker and provide coffee pods and various sweeteners.

Upstairs, you'll find four cozy bedrooms and another full bath, which has a shower and bathtub. Bedroom 4 is great for kids, with two full-size beds, a crib and a rocking chair.

In the warmer months, a large outdoor deck with a patio table and propane grill is the perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail or a casual outdoor dinner. During the summer, every bedroom has a window A/C unit.

Parents: we have a crib, a pack & play and a safety gate which can be placed at the top of the stairs. Just let us know before your stay if you would like us to make them available!

You'll have the entire place to yourself with the exception of the locked basement, which is used for storage.

Dogs are welcome! We allow up to two well-behaved pups for a flat fee of $50 per stay. This covers additional cleaning and helps offset the cost of incidentals that can happen with furry family members. Please be advised the house is on a main road and does not have a fenced-in yard, so it's not a good spot for dogs to run freely outside. Sorry, no cats or other animals.

My private home of 20+ years is located only 4 miles from downtown Tannersville nestled in exclusive Onteora Park. It's secluded by NYS-protected forest providing ultimate mountain cabin privacy, ample wildlife, mountain views, and hiking trails. There's plenty of outdoor seating and lawns for family activities. Hunter Mt., Kaatterskill Falls, Colgate, and North-South Lakes are all within just miles of the property.

The space
Fenview, my lovely 1884 Catskill Mountain house, has lovely southern mountain views. A long driveway leads to the very private 3-story residence located in a valley on the mountaintop of Tannersville. The property is down the road from the gorgeous Mountain Top Arboretum and All-Souls Stone Church, all located in Onteora Park. An early 20th-century neighborhood in Tannersville with unique Arts and Craft style homes.
Weather is usually about 10-20 degrees cooler than NYC and the mountain breezes are generous throughout the house. The house is full of natural light as soon as the sun rises and romantic amber tones at night. If it's a full moon, it's as if a spotlight is cast with plenty of star-gazing. Nights are quiet next to the firepit or on the porch except for the owls and frogs.
Inside, the eat-in kitchen is bright, clean, and ready for cooking if one doesn't feel like visiting the fantastic restaurants in town. The living room is comfortable with multiple seating areas, a workspace, 65-inch flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, a fireplace with a wood stove, and French doors that lead to a wrap-around porch overlooking the lawns and forest. A laundry room is located off the kitchen as well as a 1/2 bath. Upstairs are 3 cozy bedrooms. All are light and breezy with comfortable beds and linens. There is a full bath with a bathtub plus amenities.

The private driveway can fit 4 vehicles comfortably. Private upper and lower lawns and surrounding pristine forest. Residential home with large deck, gas grill, fire pit, and outdoor eating area. Private interior access to a full eat-in kitchen, living room, private high-speed internet access, dining area, 3 bedrooms, laundry room, and 1-1/2 baths.

Other things to note
The description and pictures don't do justice to just how special the property truly is. It's so private and lush with nature. It feels like its own little Eco-system tucked in a valley of the mountain top. It's great for kids and dogs. The maintained lawns are suitable for all kinds of sports to fetch with the dog. The kids can explore the private woods or roast s'mores anytime without the worries of traffic, noise level, strangers, or neighbors. My dog JoJo is the master of her own little universe! From maintaining the wildlife (squirrels and chipmunks), to running up and down all the various levels and areas of the property, she is non-stop all day. It's far away from the road so I don't have to worry about her safety but she's also trained to avoid going up the driveway as well. It's such a comfortable stay. It's so easy to stay busy with all the accessible activities nearby or just cozy up and binge-watch TV in the gorgeous living room. The high-speed Internet allows everyone to enjoy downtime without the worries of data and the large coffee table accommodates some great card or board game competitions!! There's a reason I've owned this property for over 20 years. It's simply lovely, comfortable, and in an incredible turn-of-the-century neighborhood.

This is a 5 bedroom Victorian house on a quiet tree-lined street in the center of Tannersville. It is simple, clean and comfortable but with charm and character. The house can sleep up to 14 people and has parking for several cars. It is within walking distance of Tannersville's lively bars, restaurants, shopping and the Orpheum Theater, but is also a great base for all outdoor activities and a short drive to the summertime Hunter Festivals .

The space
The house is a unique mix of antique and modern. The downstairs "parlor" still features the original 19th century wood molding but you can enjoy watching an Apple TV. The dining room has a huge table which can seat up to 14, while there is also an eat-in kitchen. Front and back decks have outdoor furniture , a picnic table, charcoal grill and fire-pit.

Whole house and decks. The backyard is shared with a small cottage in the rear. The tenants there are a friendly older couple - be sure to say hi!

Cozy air-conditioned townhome, perfect for up to 6 guests. Access to nearby local restaurants, bars, scenic trails for hiking, and a 4-mile drive to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort. This ski house has beautiful views with a front balcony and rear deck with outdoor seating. Please note there is no swimming pool.

The space

It’s a cozy 3-level air-conditioned townhome with spacious vaulted ceilings and perfect for up to 6 guests. On the 1st story is the mudroom, two bedrooms, & a full bathroom with tub and shower. On the second level is another bathroom with a sink, toilet, and very compact shower, the kitchen- is open to the living room area, including a wood-burning stove-fireplace, that opens up to a front balcony, and a larger back deck with chairs on both decks. The third level is the loft with two twin beds, a couch, a desk & TV.

We have a strict no-pet policy. Due to wild animals in the area guest trash cannot be left outside and must be taken with you or to the local dump, not a far drive from the townhome. $5 per bag fee applies for housekeeping to remove the trash for guests.

Parking- Please park directly in front of our unit, and pull up to the curb. ONE vehicle per reservation is permitted in the lot. There is ASSIGNED parking for each unit. If a second parking spot is needed, please request as soon as possible and we will request a flexible parking spot.

We wish you a very comfortable stay. There are many accommodations for your use, including coffee grounds with a coffee maker and filters and whole coffee beans, a grinder, and a drip filter. Mi Casa es su casa. Enjoy!

The space
You will surely fall in love with the village of Tannersville (as we did). Our home is easily located on Main Street (Route 23A), between downtown Tannersville and Hunter Mountain in the beautiful Catskill mountains.

You have access to our entire 1.2+ acres. In the summer, it is a lovely lawn for games, BBQs and general outdoor lounging (with surrounding views of the mountains). We have a 4 burner propane grill, firepit, and ADK chairs for chilling. In the winter, there is plenty of space for some intense snowman building.

We have 4 bedrooms, all with queen beds. 2 bathrooms (one with a tub, one with a shower). In the summer, the 2 upstairs bedrooms have air conditioners. Downstairs we have fans available & personally haven’t found the need for A/C, as the mountain temps drop at night.

2 Joybird sleeper sofas (queen & twin). Parking for 4-6 cars (depending on snow banks). Our 4 bedrooms each have a theme of some of the adventures we enjoy: SKI, SAIL, RUN, FLY.

Our kitchen is FULLY equipped- appliances, good knives & all.

When you're not outside enjoying all the Catskills have to offer- we have a full game closet, plenty of puzzles, and a 100" projector for streaming movies.

Seasonal & rentals over 28 days require a lease agreement and guests pay for monthly electric charges and handle their own garbage disposal. Heat/hotwater, wifi, and all land maintenance (mowing in summer, plowing/snow removal in winter) covered by owners.

Access to whole house (with the exception of the basement and 2 closets). Easy check in and ongoing house access via smart lock, no key needed during your stay.

Other things to note
We do *NOT* have a typical television but *do* have a projector available- with a 100" screen in the living room (equipped with Amazon Fire Stick-Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney and Apple Plus) and a DVD player & dvd collection (also a Red Box is across the street). We have LOTS of board games, puzzles, and children's toys. Outdoor games also available (slip & slide, corn hole, wiffle ball, frisbee, yard dice).
Also available (for the music lovers): acoustic guitar, banjo, ukulele, record player & bluetooth enabled Marshall speaker system.

Our house is also equipped with a large outdoor propane grill and a fully equipped kitchen, so cooking at home is always a great option.

In the summer, we also have a large garden/mini farm that we planted each spring, and guests are welcome to harvest any ripe veggies/herbs during their stay. We typically plant: dill, thyme, rosemary, basil, cilantro, lavender, oregano, sage, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, rainbow Swiss chard, bell peppers, a variety of hot peppers, zucchini, okra, broccoli, spring onion/scallions, and brussel sprouts.
