Enjoy the seasons changing and romantic eat meals in paradise. The apartment is very private with it's own parking entrance and porch. Cook in the fully equipped kitchen overlooking the view. This cozy 1890's farm house was renovated into multiple apartments. It’s been a home in our families history since 1969 and has gone through many changes over the last 50+ years. We’re so excited to open it to you and share our hometown and peace and quiet that is Quarryville with you.

The unit for rent is a two bedroom, one bath on the first floor, featuring a walk-in tile shower. A full kitchen with all stainless appliances and dishwasher, a Keurig single cup & 12 cup coffee pot plus toaster oven available for your use. Large cutting board island is perfect for preparing all your meals in a functional manner. We provide all of our guests with coffee and tea choices, sugar & sugar substitutes as well as half & half upon arrival. Should you require anything specific due to dietary concerns please contact us! The living/dining room has large south facing windows and let in plenty of sunlight throughout the day. With two recliners and a loveseat there is ample seating for guests, as well as additional chairs if needed. We provide wifi and full cable as well having an Amazon Firestick connected for any streaming services you may choose to use during your stay. We hope you feel as at home here as we have all these years.

It is less than one block from the center of town, and walkable to various bars, restaurants, galleries, etc. It has all of the necessities for a comfortable stay in this Hudson Valley town.

Please Note: This is a mid-1800s home with authentic character—including weathered exterior paint and a few quirks that come with its age. It’s not for those seeking pristine new construction, but ideal if you appreciate personality, history, and a touch of imperfect charm.

Additional note: unit is not recommended for people who have difficulty with stairs because there is a steep twisting stairway.

- "My daughter and I needed a place to stay while she was competing at HITS (local horse show). The location of this house is great; only 5 minutes from the show and a very short walk to the main strip in town. Finding the house at night was not easy because it was dark and I couldn't see the house number. And then I accidentally parked in the wrong spot (neighbor's spot) but he happened to be awake and told me where to park. That was really the only part of our stay that could have gone more smoothly, but other than that, everything in the listing is accurate, and Steven, the owner, was great to deal with. The beds were super comfortable, too!"

Thoughtfully equipped and maintained." - "This is a wonderful VRBO, exceptional in size and equipped with any and everything you need or might need. It has a large den, sitting and dining room, well equipped kitchen, very large bedroom with 2 queen beds (large dividing screen if you like) and a large, wonderful bathroom with steaming hot water! I was concerned because this is a large VRBO attached beneath a large house and I was worried about privacy - no need to worry! You have total privacy and the owner provides total privacy. She did a great job of being the perfect combination of friendly, answering any questions immediately, etc. and at the same time giving you total privacy. She was excellent. FYI this location has the BEST washer and dryer I have ever used. We saw deer and foxes, birds, etc. Sat outside on the private deck, and that was wonderful. The terrific news was that when we hit 3 days of unexpected, unusually HOT weather - this VRBO has excellent air conditioning! We stayed 4 weeks and it was great. Great Wifi Only disadvantage: Weak mobile cell service but we found that we could solve that by talking at the end of the coffee table or going outside! We highly recommend this place. We went to the Farmers' Market every Saturday (which is ridiculously wonderful!), to the local Summer Stock at Woodstock Theatre (which was as good as we saw on Broadway at 20% the cost!); saw waterfalls, and generally enjoyed the wonderful area!"

The apartment features two bedrooms, each furnished with queen-sized beds, as well as a spacious living and dining area, providing ample space for families to relax and unwind. Rest easy on all-natural, chemical-free Tempur-Pedic mattresses, providing a serene and rejuvenating sleep experience. Enjoy the convenience of a toaster oven, a coffee machine, and even a popcorn machine. Guests are welcome to walk around and say hi to the animals on their own or we offer animal tours for guests interested in learning more about our friendly residents.

We always do our best to work with guest's schedules for both activities but ask for a minimum of 1 day heads up for the animal tour and 5 hour heads up for the sauna. If guests would like to use the sauna again during their stay, there will be an additional cost of $75/use.
