It is a very short walk (3-5 minutes) to several businesses in the village such as Mama's Pizzeria, Mac Gregor's Pub, Bagels & More, and Peking Garden Chinese Restaurant. We don't have cable TV but access is given to our Netflix account on a smart TV. The apartment is a very short drive to Tannersville (5 minutes), Kaaterskill Falls (10 minutes) and North-South Lake & Campground (10 minutes). The fire pit outside was particularly enjoyable, and Atossa even provided some firewood. Just keep in mind there is no oven or dishwasher and not a lot of counter space, so do not plan on preparing an elaborate meal from scratch (unless you want to use the charcoal grill, which we did not). Atossa has everything set up perfectly for a stay here, and it did not disappoint. She even left us a bottle of wine when we arrived. This has to be one of the highest value stays in the entire region. Look no further if you want a 2-5 day vacation for a great deal."

Then the hosts provide you with everything you need too- spices, condiments, (which we tried not to use) and dish soap and coffee filters in the kitchen (which we did- thank you!) About the "sleep five"- if anyone wants to know, that is exactly true for people who plan to double up in the bedrooms on the double beds and then one extra on the sofa. It is a very comfy and wide sofa, not a sofa bed. The bedrooms are smallish and do not fit an airbed, so do plan on using the sofa."
