* Updated Amenities: Recent updates include a main-level laundry area, new dining furniture, patio with new furniture, new steps tp dock for easy lake access. Also we added a wall of windows to enjoy the lake view.

- "Had a great stay in this comfortable and well appointed home near the lake. The short trail walk to the lake is a great discovery. We used the kitchen a lot and the bar height table works well for meals as well as several great spaces outside. Lilacs and irises were blooming while we were there - lovely when we had a couple of family members come over for drinks outside. Also enjoyed the game table and great TV setup in the evening. AC in both bedrooms and another in the living room. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe during our stay. The driveway has a designated spot. However, it is only big enough for one large vehicle ( we had a super duty truck) or 2 small cars. The bathroom was equipped with plenty of towels and even had a little travel kit available if you left some items behind. The only suggestion we all have for the bathroom is to install safety handles for the shower. The very deep tub while amazing if you wanted a nice bath was challenging to get in and out of especially with a slippery tub. Our host was very accommodating and returned messages quickly. - "This was my first experience (and last) with your company. The root cellar, unfinished basement, began passing thru metal cellar doors down a steep stairwell. Leading thru a maze of spaces including the hot water heater, shower curtain walls, exposed wiring and piping from below the home. The cheap linoleum flooring was so unsafe and uneven. The kitchenette photo is accurate for contents. The bedroom door is 4 inches too short on top and bottom. This space is extremely dingy with mirrors propped against wall and electronics and elec cords dangling. Bathroom photo is accurate to contents except the moldy shower."

We are in a cohousing community so this could be an opportunity to check out cohousing. This means we know all our neighbors and sometimes have community events and meals together which you could join if you like, but people can also do their own thing. It's not intrusive.

Cohousing also means that the houses are situated around a park-like area with playgrounds where neighborhood kids can run free. Free parking is very close but separate from houses. Carts available for hauling luggage or groceries.

This room has only one window so if there is an AC unit installed (summer), please do not try to open the window or the unit will fall to the ground. The house is located in a lovely residential neighborhood, a one mile circle with conservation area and pond in the center, across the street from the house. Neighbors walk, many with dogs and kids, a fun walk to admire the surrounding nature. The room itself is 12' x 12' with an area rug on hardwood floor. There is a double sized bed, desk, 2 chairs and a bureau. It is adequate for short or long term stays. Room has one window that overlooks the back yard, as does the attached bathroom. This room is close to the men's bathroom and the kitchen as well as the front entrance.

Guests are welcome to use bedroom, appropriate bathroom, kitchen, deck, living room, whole house except for private downstairs apartment where owner lives with 2 cats. There's a table with Keurig coffee and tea in the living room for occasional morning snacks.

Other things to note
Please park in the driveway or across the street facing east, but not across from the end of my driveway where someone coming out could hit you. Please do not turn around in the driveway of the yellow house across the street, you may turn around in my driveway, but not on my lawn.

Old Victorian Mansion you can enjoy. The rooms are spacious and there are two dedicated bathrooms only for airbnb guests. bathrooms here are at the end of the hall for you to use. The house is near 291 highway and you will not take long to get to most attractions such as Six Flags, Basketball Museum, Big E, etc. The bed is a queen size memory foam mattress. We have WiFi, and a flat screen 4K smart tv you watch Netflix, YouTube, etc.

We live in the house as well. I work most of the time, so your interaction with us is minimum. If you need anything during your stay, please feel free to text me and I will respond right away.

We also have friendly dogs. However, they live in a house in the back of the property which is not connected at all to the main house which is where your room is.

In the main part of the house we have cats. Most of them will hide away and some will come out to greet people. Please be mindful of the doors as we don't want them to go outside the property.

This is the best room of the house in this huge Victorian home. This is the biggest bedroom of the house. You can accommodate 3 people. we provide a floor mattress for an extra guest should you have more than 2 guests. There are two bathrooms in this level that we keep for Airbnb guests only. There is laundry for a fee. 4k tv with free Netflix, NatGeo, ESPN, and other apps.

Recently remodeled Victorian house.
Inside the room you will find a 4k tv, internet, and work desk station. This Airbnb room will share a bathroom with another Airbnb room. The house was remodeled in July 2020.

To get to the bathroom, you should exit your room using the door closest to the TV. then go down the stairs and you will enter the kitchen. The bathroom is right next to the kitchen.
