Rustic lakefront home ideally located for exploring historic New England. The house is at the end of a private road on a 1 acre wooded lot. The house is on a wooded peninsula and surrounded by water on three sides. Most rooms include water views. There is a sandy beach that includes a dock. The gradual slope of the beach is ideal for young children. The house sleeps 8 in bedrooms and has a queen sofa bed in the living room. There is easy access to Boston via car or public transportation. The house features a spacious great room with gas fireplace, large dining room and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.

Summer and Fall are excellent times of year to enjoy swimming in the lake or relaxing and enjoying the reflection of the fall foliage in the pond. In winter there is easy access to trails for cross country skiing. Downhill skiing & snowboarding is available at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area which is a scenic 30-minute drive. New England Sport Center is a short drive down 290. The house is also convenient to the many colleges and medical facilities in the Worcester area.

Please note this is a multi-level house. There is a flight of stairs to get to the main level and a small number of steps between areas within the house. If you have mobility issues this would not be a good fit for you.

- "To start, the listing is very deceptive. This place does not have any "nice views", it is not "wonderful" and definitely, not "quite".I got there around 10pm after dinner. The was only one parking spot left, very tight, and you can park on the road.To go to the room I had to go pass the kitchen...the kitchen had a terrible fried fish smell that had taken over the whole place. Right there this was a reason to cancel this reservation,but it was late for me to go anywhere else. In the kitchen, I was met by an elderly men, the uncle of the owner, who spoke Zero English. No help there!I run into my smelly room and found out the heating was not working...room was 63 F. So I texted Tin, the owner, but had no answers that night.Did not sleep all night...Also, the common bathroom was in the middle of the many guest bedrooms and it was very noisy when a guest went to use it. The property was old so you can imagine the original bathroom fan running during the night, the bathroom door was noisy as well...just a terrible experience.The next day I got up, left the keys for the owner, and texted him that I was not happy with the property and that I was not going to spend another night there.I asked the owner for a fair resolution, trying to be nice.Tin decided to charge me 25% of the whole reservation (11 days booking) plus all the other fees. This to me was not fair at all so I hope VRBO can give me a full refund after talking to their customer service 5 times."

- While you have your own space, entrance and exit, the in-law suite is part of the main unit and below a 3 bedroom apartment. There is a connecting door by the stairs that is permanently locked and should NEVER be used except for an EMERGENCY EXIT and CONFIRMATION from the host .
- There are 3 stairs going down into the in-law suite from the entrance.
-The Utility room for the unit is inside the in-law suite . You will be notified anytime there is a need to access the utility room.
- The laundry room has a separate door and is shared with the occupants of the 3 bedroom unit .
- Counter top stove, Air Fryer/ Oven Available . Only use one at a time to avoid the light from tripping off.
- You will receive one access code for the shared hallway leading to the laundry room and your unit and your unit.

This is a 3-bedroom fully furnished lakefront house with a 100feet waterfront in one of the best areas of Lake Quinsigamond.

Activities can be done all year around: water-sports (swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, tubing), fishing.
There are two floating jet ski docks in our other property that could be used too if the guests of the neighboring house are not using it.
During the winter: ice skating, ice-fishing, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, ice hockey on the lake, snowmobile. Skiing is 10min away (Shrewsbury ski hill) or 30min away (Wachusett ski resort), and there is an ice ring 10min away. There is a local company (Go Sauna) that can rent and deliver a mobile sauna on a trailer.

It is ideal for short term rentals. For longer stays we would consider a discounted price.

Easy commute with only a couple of minutes to access I-90 (Boston Turnpike) and Route 20. It is only 10min to downtown Worcester.

It is a good option for those who come to visit Boston and want to stay in a quite place. It is only 40min driving to Boston off rush hour. It is only few minutes drive to Grafton commuter rail station or Worcester rail station.

It is very close to Swedish park, Jordan Pond (walking distance), and Worcester Lake Park with tennis and basket ball courts and trails where you can hike, bike or walk your dog. It is 5min from White city where you have banks, many stores, restaurants, and a gym (Planet Fitness).

Close by it is Regatta point community sailing club where you can rent sail boats, kayaks and pedal boats, or participate in a sailing course during the summer.

The space
This place is a hidden gem!!

It is an unique Airbnb opportunity. Five acres of land with total privacy with over 2,000 feet of shoreline on Flint Pond (Lake Quinsigamond) only for you. Enjoy the amazing lifestyle on the lake all-year around while being close to the city center.
Even if you come to work in the area, it feels like being on vacation. Enjoy nature in a very quiet and private place. It has the cottage feeling with all amenities that you need (fast internet, cable TV, A/C, and central heating).

This charming lakefront A-frame 2 bedroom house has a kitchen, living and dining areas are all open and with lake views.
There is a second floor bedroom (with a queen size bed) reached over a spiral staircase with a full bathroom, a closet and a porch/deck facing the lake. The second bedroom (with a queen size bed) is on ground level with a large glass window and door facing the lake. It has a large sofa, has heated floor and a full bath.
We have a queen size air mattress available if needed.

The house has two TVs (one cable TV and one internet TV).

There is a 1 bedroom cabin close to the house (90 feet apart) also facing the lake that is great for children. It has two loft beds (use at own risk) and two extra twin size mattresses on the floor that can provide more sleeping accommodations if needed.
The cabin is insulated and has heating and A/C (can be used all year round). It also has wi-fi signal, but it has no bathroom and no TV.

The gravel road is private (half a mile) and good for a run, to walk the dog or for cross-country skiing.

You can enjoy your breakfast or BBQ outside in a gazebo on the waterfront or on one of the four picknick tables located in different areas that can provide you sun light or shade at any given time. The property has a large dock on the lake that has areas of shade and sunlight.

Go for an early morning swim at sunrise, or cool down in the refreshing water on a hot summer day. Enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine on the dock or making s'mores at a campfire. You could also decide for an amazing sunset on the dock, or just relax or read a book in one of the several hammocks under the trees.

This is perfect for a weekend getaway from your busy life or for an anniversary, birthday or family/friends reunion. We do have two other lake houses within 10min drive if you have a large group that can accommodate together 16 people.

Also perfect if you can work from home (home-office).

There are lots of fun things to do all year around and it is only 40min to Boston (if you are coming for work or to attend concerts or sport events).

You will be able to see the wildlife (including bald eagles, wild swans and geese, deers, a variety of small birds, bunnies and squirrels, beavers, etc) out of the window or from the porch. We have binoculars and telescope available.
It is also very close to other parks like the Martha Deering Wildlife (hiking distance) or Swedish park.

Activities can be done all year around: water-sports (swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, tubing), fishing, bird viewing, hiking, mountain biking, soccer, badminton, tetherball, ninja course for kids. There is a floating island, a floating water mat, kayaks and life jackets available. There is a floating jet ski dock and a powered boat lift.
During the winter: ice skating, ice-fishing, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, ice hockey on the lake, snowmobile. Skiing is 10min away (Shrewsbury ski hill) or 30min away (Wachusett ski resort), and there is an ice ring 10min away. There is a local company (Go Sauna) that can rent and deliver a mobile sauna on a trailer.

Three kayaks are available free of cost.
Three Bicycles and three paddle boards are available for an extra fee.

You can bring your jet ski (jet skis are allowed in the lake) or snowmobile.
Boat lift use is upon an extra fee. There are two city boat ramps close by but if your boat is small you could use the private ramp in the property.

It is close to the Regatta point community sailing where you can rent sail boats, kayaks and pedal boats, or participate in a sailing course during the summer. It is also close to the Worcester rowing club.

This peninsula used to be a small island a long time ago. It has a half-mile private driveway from the Cripper Hill road to the house.

It has plenty of space for outdoor parking, playing sports on the lawn (there are two soccer goals and soccer ball).
Great for both short and long-term rentals.

Very close to UMass hospital (10min drive), grocery stores (Whole Foods, Market Basket, Trader-Joe's, Starbucks, CVS), gym, Polar Park, Ice skating ring, skiing hill, and many different restaurants.
Few minutes to route 20 and I-90.

It is available all-year-round.
Snow plowing will be available during the winter months (included on the rental price).
