We had 5 people and I had to call for the extra linens that I paid for and then I trip tried to bill me for more money in an email and also put a charge on my cc after they sent me emails that I paid in full,which they had to refund. While we spent a lot of time in the house due to less than favorable weather, the town has much to offer. Some of our favorites: Shubies Market, Fresca wood fired pizza for a night in, and Mookies at Mugford is a quick walk and a must every morning for delicious coffee, pastries, etc. Highly Recommend this property!"

The property is one of two three-story townhomes in the original Three Cod Tavern (built in 1680) which served Marblehead's sailors since before the revolutionary war. The building is Marblehead’s oldest surviving structure and is located in the historic core of what might be the country’s most adorable and walkable village.

The building was extensively remodeled in 2012 and features views of marblehead harbor, a lovely home office with harbor and village views, an expansive primary bedroom suite, deeded on-site parking space, an eclectic mix of mostly modern furniture, a modern kitchen equipped with a Bertazzoni oven/range, and a whole house Sonos music system.

Legend has it that a cannonball was fired at the property after a drunken dispute between British and colonial sailors. The cannonball may be buried somewhere in the property. Please don't try and find it.

Walk through our back gate onto Crocker Park, one of Marblehead's oldest water front parks. Enjoy a view of the harbor and it's yacht clubs, take a dip off the swimming float, and days of live music during the Festival Of The Arts! Built in 1717 the "Marblehead Summer House".
We are also just minutes walk from shops and sights Abbot Hall, Lee Mansion, King Hooper Mansion, the Museum, and 6 restaurants. Located in the heart pre-revolutionary Old Town and just 3 miles from the Salem line.

The space
This is not just a bed in our house. This is a private apartment with a private full bath, claw foot soaking tub, wifi, flat screen and Queen bed. We have 5 different units in our 300 year old 3 story house. The first one of it's kind built in Marblehead. We use Airbnb to fill empty units during low demand times at lower rates. So, you’re getting lots of value! Come on in and have a great time!!!

Old Town Marblehead is a popular walking area, with sights, restaurants and shops nearby. There is parking on the street, unmetered, so we have our share of cars on our narrow streets, bicycling is also popular. Like any popular tourist area parking can be a challenge on weekends and holidays . Public transportation is available with a bus stop on a corner about one block from the house on a diagonal.

Uber and Lyft are also available.

Breakfast and Lunch - Traditional greasy-spoon, locals eat there. I’ve been there since I was a little kid and it hasn’t changed much since then, except for the new red table and chairs that Adam Sandler bought recently while he was here making a movie. It’s usually packed with a line out front that does not move very quickly, but it’s usually fun to talk to the people in line while you’re waiting. (Specialties: Very good Fish Chowder on Fridays, Fried Dough on weekend breakfasts), (3 minute walk)


Haley’s Café, 114 Washington St
Breakfast and Lunch – Eclectic menu of sandwiches and breakfast items. Good seating in the adjoining Liquor Store! The easiest way to walk there is to go Right out the front door and take the second Left which appears to be a dead-end on the map, but actually goes into a parking lot which goes through to Washington St. They’re on the left at the top of the hill. (4 minute walk)


The Muffin Shop, 126 Washington St
Breakfast and Lunch – Eggs, pastries and sandwiches, pretty good! They probably have the largest seating area of the three restaurants. The easiest way to walk there is to go Right out the front door and take the second Left which appears to be a dead-end on the map, but actually goes into a parking lot which goes through to Washington St. They’re on the left at the top of the hill. (3 minute walk)

Sea Salt restaurant/bar is an evening restaurant located below the Muffin Shop. Great food!

On the way to the Muffin Shop you will pass “Crosby’s”, on the right. They have about everything!

The Landing, 81 Front St.
Restaurant and Bar – ON THE WATER – largest –This was my mother’s favorite place to eat, as it is for many! More up-scale, diverse menu, good food and salads, excellent French Onion Soup, Espresso machine, nice deck over the water, separate bar. Very Nice !!! The bar is nice and usually has live music on Friday or Saturday night. (My daughter Holly and son John both worked there from time to time in the summer!!!) If you go there tell “Rob” I sent you and you’ll get a free smile! (3 minute walk)

Maddie’s Sail Loft, 15 State St.
Legendary for their drinks, Maddie’s has been a local favorite here since 1946. It’s a good place to eat burgers and seafood, especially lobster. The 1st floor bar has always been a bustling place packed with locals and recreational sailors for lunch. The restaurant, 2nd floor sail loft, is more sublime and better for dining I think. (4 minute walk)

The Barnacle, 141 Front St.
Restaurant and Bar – ON THE WATER – small – Surf and Turf, small deck over the water, only place in town that serves Steamers (steamed clams)! Only a few hundred yards from Fort Sewall at the end of Front St. (10-15 minute walk, depending on how spry you are)


There are several more restaurants, shops, and coffee shops in the, “Up Town Area”, with-in ½ mile from The Marblehead Summer House. If walking, just go up Darling St., 1st left, and keep heading up-hill. When you get to the bottom of the other side you’ll be in, “Up Town”.

Walk through our back gate onto Crocker Park, one of Marblehead's oldest water front parks. Enjoy a view of the harbor and it's yacht clubs, take a dip off the swimming float, and days of live music during the Festival Of The Arts! Built in 1717 the "Marblehead Summer House".
We are also just minutes walk from, Abbot Hall, Lee Mansion, King Hooper Mansion and the Marblehead Museum, restaurants and shops. Located in the heart pre-revolutionary Old Town and just 3 miles from the Salem line.

The space
This is not just a bed in our house. This is a private apartment with a private full bath, claw foot soaking tub, wifi, flat screen and Queen bed. We have 5 different units in our 300 year old 3 story house. The first one of it's kind built in Marblehead. We use Airbnb to fill empty units during low demand times at lower rates. So, you’re getting lots of value! Come on in and have a great time!!!

Old Town Marblehead is a popular walking area, with sights, restaurants and shops nearby. There is parking on the street, unmetered, so we have our share of cars on our narrow streets, bicycling is also popular. Like any popular tourist area parking can be a challenge on weekends and holidays . Public transportation is available with a bus stop on a corner about one block from the house on a diagonal.

Uber and Lyft are also available.

This is, "The Marblehead Summer House". It is where I grew up and my parents lived for 50 years. Each of the 5 units include a private full bath, some also include a kitchenette. Breakfast and Lunch - Traditional greasy-spoon, locals eat there. I’ve been there since I was a little kid and it hasn’t changed much since then, except for the new red table and chairs that Adam Sandler bought recently while he was here making a movie. It’s usually packed with a line out front that does not move very quickly, but it’s usually fun to talk to the people in line while you’re waiting. (Specialties: Very good Fish Chowder on Fridays, Fried Dough on weekend breakfasts), (3 minute walk)


Haley’s Café, 114 Washington St
Breakfast and Lunch – Eclectic menu of sandwiches and breakfast items. Good seating in the adjoining Liquor Store! The easiest way to walk there is to go Right out the front door and take the second Left which appears to be a dead-end on the map, but actually goes into a parking lot which goes through to Washington St. They’re on the left at the top of the hill. (4 minute walk)


The Muffin Shop, 126 Washington St
Breakfast and Lunch – Eggs, pastries and sandwiches, pretty good! They probably have the largest seating area of the three restaurants. The easiest way to walk there is to go Right out the front door and take the second Left which appears to be a dead-end on the map, but actually goes into a parking lot which goes through to Washington St. They’re on the left at the top of the hill. (3 minute walk)

Groceries,
On the way to the Muffin Shop you will pass “Crosby’s”, on the right. They have about everything!

The Landing, 81 Front St.
Restaurant and Bar – ON THE WATER – largest –This was my mother’s favorite place to eat, as it is for many! More up-scale, diverse menu, good food and salads, excellent French Onion Soup, Espresso machine, nice deck over the water, separate bar. Very Nice !!! The bar is nice and usually has live music on Friday or Saturday night. (My daughter Holly and son John both worked there from time to time in the summer!!!) If you go there tell “Rob” I sent you and you’ll get a free smile! (3 minute walk)

Maddie’s Sail Loft, 15 State St.
Legendary for their drinks, Maddie’s has been a local favorite here since 1946. It’s a good place to eat burgers and seafood, especially lobster. The 1st floor bar has always been a bustling place packed with locals and recreational sailors for lunch. The restaurant, 2nd floor sail loft, is more sublime and better for dining I think. (4 minute walk)

The Barnacle, 141 Front St.
Restaurant and Bar – ON THE WATER – small – Surf and Turf, small deck over the water, only place in town that serves Steamers (steamed clams)! Only a few hundred yards from Fort Sewall at the end of Front St. (10-15 minute walk, depending on how spry you are)


There are several more restaurants, shops, and coffee shops in the, “Up Town Area”, with-in ½ mile from The Marblehead Summer House. If walking, just go up Darling St., 1st left, and keep heading up-hill. When you get to the bottom of the other side you’ll be in, “Up Town”.

You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. While you'll be renting a room in our home, I assure you we treat our guests as friends/family. With your own bedroom with lock and a dedicated bathroom for you during your stay, a mile from Devereux Beach, downtown Salem less than a 10 min drive, and 25 min to Logan Airport, this little hideaway is sure to please. You will also have access to the yard that has a fire pit, along w/ kitchen and living room areas. We do have pets.

The space
You'll be renting a private bedroom w/ a queen size bed, a/c unit in the summer time, a work space w/ a desk and lamp, multiple outlets with charging spots, a mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle, multiple books for your enjoyment, a closet with hangers, an iron and ironing board, and a large smart TV. The bathroom will be dedicated to you during your stay and has a jacuzzi tub, shampoo, conditioner, and soap, and a bidet. You will have access to the yard which has multiple seating areas, a fire pit, and a grill you may use. We do have indoor cats that are rescues from the Virgin Islands, 2 Wheaton Terriers, and a rescue pup from Turks and Caicos. They will not be in your space during your stay. I provide coffee, cream and sugar, different teas, and some snacks. You may use the kitchen as well, just let me know as my son lives in the basement and cooks every now and then. **420 Friendly 😊**. Room decor according to season and location, beachy vibe, halloween and fall I go all out!

the room does not have windows. However, there is a standard door and a screen door, so you can keep the garage door open during the day to let in fresh air.

Our townhouse has 2 bedrooms upstairs -- 1 with a king bed and the other with a queen. A full bath is between the 2 bedrooms, and a half bath is off of the galley kitchen. The living and dining area is open concept. The kitchen is adjacent and amply equipped. In the cellar there is a storage and laundry room as well as a finished room for additional living and office space; it has a queen bed but is not a licensed bedroom.

The space
Because of the way it is situated, our home is typically bathed in light.

The unit has a dedicated parking space only steps away from the back door, together with a small, but vibrant flower and herb garden that Petra maintains and a shared deck for relaxing, entertaining and grilling.

Our unit is centrally located, providing easy access to popular restaurants and stores as well as to the water's edge. (The southern end of Marblehead Harbor is a short walk from us, and the town's principal beach is less than 1 mile away.) Diverse walking routes abound, inevitably finding their way to the "Old Town", with its historic landmarks, 18th century dwellings and spectacular views of the Harbor and nearby islands. Historic Salem abuts Marblehead, and downtown Boston is easily reachable by public transportation.

Petra and I believe that others will enjoy our townhouse, Marblehead and Boston's North Shore every bit as much as we do.

Per our condo association's rules, stays at our home are for 1 month or more.

Downtown Marblehead! Separate entrance to a private one bedroom/one bathroom apartment with living area and efficiency kitchen. Enjoy your own space in the Shipyard District just of off Atlantic Ave, close to Old Town, yacht clubs, and Devereaux Beach. This is a separate space within a larger house with parking. The ceilings are low (this is Marblehead, after all), and the space is the downstairs unit of a three level house. Anyone over about 6 feet will need to watch their head!

This is a one bedroom (queen bed) apartment (lower level of a single family home) with a living area including a table for work/dining and strong wifi and an efficiency kitchen (includes mini-fridge, large toaster/convection oven, microwave, coffee maker, washer; but no dryer, dishwasher, or stovetop/full oven). Arrive any time via keyless entry, private access, and off-street parking in a driveway if you need it (it is also easy to get here via Uber/taxi from Logan Airport). It is very close to Salem and easy access to downtown Boston and other locations. There is a loveseat but not a full size sofa; it is a small but efficient space with a separate bedroom. You’ll have access to a private driveway spot on the side of the house, with additional off-street parking available. However, please avoid the main brick top driveway at the front unless you’re driving an SUV or truck, as it has a very steep incline that could cause damage to smaller vehicles.

Ours is a cozy, 2 bedroom & living room suite in an antique garden cottage with private bath and entrance and on site parking. It is attached to our home but is a separate private space with no shared living areas and its own patio English Garden. It is situated on 2 floors (bathroom upstairs). It is a short walk to beaches, shops, restaurants & historic sites. The suite has a small breakfast table, microwave, minifrig, Keurig, electric kettle & toaster, but not a full kitchen.

The space
Looking for a taste of old Marblehead? Find it in our charming antique seaside cottage with wide pine floors next to a cozy English Garden with a stone fountain and wall of ivy. Guests enjoy private use of the front entrance, a private living room with breakfast nook, 1 downstair bedroom overlooking the garden and fountain, 1 sunny upstairs bedroom with skylight and view of historic Redd's Pond, and a private bath with shower. We have the best location in town as it is a short walk to 2 beaches, Historic Old Town, numerous restaurants and the Atlantic Ave shopping area. There is parking for one car on site.

We are within walking distance to restaurants, bars, historic sites, beaches and galleries. There is one driveway parking space for guest use, and on street parking as well. This is an extremely central and convenient location to all Marblehead has to offer, as well as a close proximity to Salem by car or bike.

Other things to note
We want you to enjoy your time here and not worry about the details, so we provide you with beach blankets, chairs, a rolling cooler, maps and literature filled with places to go and how to get there. Tea, coffee and water are provided in the suite. We strive to make your stay comfortable with good mattresses and pillows, cozy blankets and seasonal flowers. I am available for recommendations on where to eat, visit and local events.

This lovely studio is less than 100 yards from the harbor and a 10-minute walk to downtown Marblehead. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the historic Shipyard District, the studio is a "semi-attached" addition to a New England-style home. The studio has a private entrance and a sliding door that opens to a patio by the garden. Guests are welcome to park their cars in our driveway. With about 400 square feet of floor space, it has a cathedral ceiling and top-of-the-line appliances.

The space
The unit has a queen size bed and radiant heating for the cool weather and an air conditioner for use as needed. There is a washer and drier in the unit.

Other things to note
The studio looks out on our garden. Right outside the rear sliding door is a sunny patio. It has a well-functioning kitchenette. The bed is queen size with a new mattress.

Welcome to our Marblehead Loft! Located above our garage, we offer our guests a comfortable stay and the opportunity to explore historic Marblehead.

This lovely apartment comfortably sleeps two people on a queen bed. It features a full bathroom, television, wet bar with fridge and coffee machine. Air conditioning and heating can be controlled at your leisure. Our large driveway includes one parking space for guests.

The space
Located a 10 minute walk to Devereux Beach or continue on for a walk or run around the Neck, a 5 minute walk to a convenience store and Mexican restaurant, and a 15 minute walk to the nearest coffee shops and restaurants. Head down to the ocean with a cup of coffee for a morning dip and stroll back to the Loft for an outdoor shower (seasonal).

On summer Saturdays, stroll over to the Marblehead Veterans Middle School for the local farmer’s market. Available bikes to use (please ask Host for more information). Easily accessible to Boston via public transit.

If you are curious about all the haunted happenings in Salem we are conveniently located less than 3 miles away. About a 10 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride to the center of the city.

Guest access
We will provide a code to enter the mudroom upon your arrival. The barn door on the right leads up to the loft.
If you arrive late (after 10pm) please be sure to lock the door behind you.
You can park in the driveway in front of the right side garage door. We have a security/motion sensor light that will light your way.

No animals of any kind are permitted on the property. Due to family allergies, the listing is strictly allergy-free. There are no exceptions to this rule, as any animal on the property poses a severe health hazard to the host’s family. If an animal is brought onto the property, you will not be permitted to check in. In addition, your reservation will be canceled and a cleaning fee will be imposed.

The suite has a spacious living room and fully stocked kitchen including a microwave and mini fridge, 1 bedroom with a dedicated workspace and desk, and 1 full bathroom with a tub. The couch in the living room is a pull out and can accommodate 2 extra guests. We offer extra linens and towels.

Guests can access the entire suite and patio. A lockbox and key are provided for guests to enter the suite.

We are a birding hotspot! We welcome you to bring your binoculars and check out the many birds that love our spot. We regularly see turkey (even with their little chicks which is adorable), Ibis, all matters of woodpeckers, catbirds, cardinals, jays, and more!

Located in the historic and quiet town of Marblehead, this cozy apartment can home up to four people. There is one parking spot on the premises, but also plenty of street parking. Even though the apartment is located on one of the main streets in the heart of MHD, it is very peaceful. This location is close to everything you’d need and is very close to the historic district. We are pet friendly and you’ll find many games, toys and entertainment for you and your fur babies!

The space
The spaces consists of the main living room, where you'll find comfortable seating, games for all (including the pups), and your welcome book with all the details to help organize your trip. There is a dining room / sitting area for four people.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, flat-top stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There are also plenty of cups, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, plates and bowls for any cooking guests would like to do! You'll find spices and snacks along with the tableware.

The family room contains an HDTV with access to Netflix. Guests will also find a dedicated workspace in the room. This is also where the sofa bed can be found. The main bedroom is next to the family room, separated by French doors. There is plenty of closet and drawer space for storing luggage and clothing. Guests will also find the bedding for the sofa bed in the main bedroom.

Guests will have access to entire first floor of the apartment.

Other things to note
There is another Airbnb on the second floor and tenants who live on the third floor and in the basement apartment. Please be respectful of all guests and be mindful of quiet hours (11pm-7am). Airbnb guests may only use the front entrance and the designated keys.

If guests bring dogs, please ensure they are properly house-trained and on a leash when outside of the apartment. There are potty bags located in the dog basket for the convenience of the guests. We understand that accidents can happen! In the closest of the dining room, guests will find the cleaning materials they'll need to clean any accidents. There is an extra charge for pets added to reservation.

Marblehead, Massachusetts. This is a private home, a small 250 sq. ft. Studio apartment. Enough space for two adults. The place is not equipped with wifi and no TV. There is no dishwasher. Very simple living. The living area has a pull out couch that changes into a very comfortable full sized bed. It's your choice whether you make the sofa into a bed or have me make it before you arrive.

The space
Very cute little studio apartment, perfect for one or two people when visiting the beautiful town of Marblehead. There is street parking plus a designated parking space in the back of the building. I recommend parking on the street since the access to the driveway is very narrow. The kitchen is fully functional and there is a small dining area. This place is my home during the work week so the kitchen is fully stocked and guests are welcome to use whatever is needed.
There is always coffee and cream.
You will have a designated area in the fridge and freezer.
The place has a sleeper couch that serves as a couch during the day and bed at night. Very easy to make.
I am happy to make up the bed before you arrive should you not want the couch to serve as sitting area, more like a bedroom. I will always ask your preference.

This studio apartment has a kitchen that has a two burner conduct stove and an air fryer. No oven or dishwasher. Bathroom has a tub and a shower.

Other things to note
The studio has a sleeper couch. I am happy to leave it made up as a bed or you have the option of making it yourself if you want a sitting area during the day. All bedding is in a chest next to the couch. It takes 2 minutes to make up the bed
