With easier access to commuter rail station & public transport, one must be aware that the house sits in a vicinity of rail tracks and there could be distant rail sound during the busier times of the day.
Quiet hours: The neighborhood has families staying in other units. (10 pm - 8 am are strictly quiet hours). Loud music/noise/events strictly not permitted.
PETS:
- Up to 2 pets allowed ($100 fee per stay). Approval needed for more, with extra fees.
- Keep pets leashed while walking in the neighborhood.
- No unattended pets
- No pets on furniture (sofas, beds, etc).
- Clean up after them inside and outside. Dog poop needs to be bagged and disposed off from the yard also.
- Prevent excessive barking or noise.

Please DO NOT leave the yard fence closed at anytime. The other units have access to the egress (pathway) while you have exclusive access to the grass area in the backyard.

Cozy 1 bedroom apartment with shared common space that includes an eat in kitchen area, bathroom and back porch. Laundry unit is within the shared area and available to use during your stay. The common areas are meticulously cleaned and in order. The guest bedroom has a slide lock inside to ensure you rest easy and a key for you to lock bedroom door when going out. Located in greater Boston area and within walking distance of Moody Street which has many different restaurant's and shops. 3 minutes to the Mass Pike for a quick ride into downtown Boston (15 Mins max).
The apartment is a on the second level of 4 apartment house. Guest space consists of bedroom with 2 desks, kitchen and dining table, and the bathroom area all located on the side of the apartment near your room. The front half of the house is living room, master bedroom and my home office all of which I normally keep closed (due to my cat) and to have/provide as much privacy as possible for my guests.

Our charming Airbnb room is fully equipped and conveniently located just a 20-25 minute drive to Logan Airport and 20 minutes to Boston downtown. Nearby colleges are Bentley University, Brandeis University, and Regis College. All these universities are 6-10 minutes drive away.

Parking off the street for one small car and on street parking in front of the house for two cars. Public transportation around the corner to Central Square where to connect to the subway system.

My house is around 100 years old. It used to sit on an apple orchard, now converted into a neighborhood of mostly cape houses. Mine is built in an American Bungalow style with lovely old fashion details.

You are welcome to have coffee or tea in the morning. There is a beverage fridge in the kitchen where storing foods and drinks and also has water, milk, and orange juice. A microwave, a coffee maker, electric tea kettle and toaster are available for your use. I do not share the kitchen for cooking meals, The bathroom is shared with another bedroom adjacent to this one.

I love making conversation with my guests, one of the main reasons why I like hosting. Having said that, I work long hours away from home so I may not cross paths with you. THIS IS OuR HOME, NOT A HOTEL NOR A COMMERCIAL BED AND BREAKFAST so for those new to space sharing, make sure that you gauge expectations. MY SONS AND I LIVE UPSTAIRS SO YOU WILL SEE US AROUND. I may also host another guest so you are likely to see him/her in the common areas as well. This is an active house most suitable for guests who are here for business, conferences, or workshops, most likely to have a similar wake up schedule and sleep patterns. Most get up between 7:00-8:30 AM so it may not be the perfect situation for those wanting to sleep until later in the morning. We retire for the night at 10 PM. The house is located in a residential suburb of Boston, if your desire is to be in Boston do not book this room and then be dissatisfied with the location. Downtown Boston is 11 miles away. The city limit with Boston is 3.5 miles away. Brandeis and Bentley colleges are a few miles away. Harvard is about a 10-15 minute drive and MIT about 20-25 minutes, all depending on traffic. This bedroom is ideal for one person. The square footage of this room is 150 square feet. It has two large windows which provides a great breeze without the need for an air conditioning although you have the option. There is a ceiling fan as well. My house is professionally cleaned once a week and maintained daily. Towels and linens, including blankets and duvet covers, are sanitized upon a guest departure. So sleep with confidence :)
Accommodations in Boston and surrounding areas are pricey so staying at a home will help mitigate that. I don’t charge a cleaning fee or any others so I believe you will be satisfied with the value. No smokers please, not even if you smoke outside.

Access to a laundry room with washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board. The bathroom is shared with another bedroom adjacent to this one. I use Arm and Hammer laundry detergent and Lysol lemon scent as an anti virus and bacterial. If you are sensitive to soaps or fragrances, my listing may not be the best fit.
