First Floor:
Enter into a warm and inviting family room complete with Samsung UHD TV and Sonos Sound System. One step up leads into the chef's kitchen complete with all Viking appliances and All Clad cookware. The kitchen is part of an open concept living space including an eight seat dining room. A sense of luxury is felt in the living room adorned with shiplapped fireplace, and Hunter Douglass full length shutters. A full bathroom and bedroom allow for flexible sleeping accommodations away from the second floor bedrooms.

Second Floor:
Two generous sized bedrooms share a full bathroom outfitted with brand new lush white towels. The master bedroom has a queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress, SMART TV with access to Amazon Prime, HULU, and Netflix, and blackout custom window treatments. The second bedroom is best suited for children. There is a set of twin size bunk beds, a full size crib, and a toddler bed to accommodate your little ones needs. An easel, some books, and toys allow you to leave the excess "stuff" back home. Built into the top and bottom of the staircase are pull across safety gates.

A washer and dryer are located in the basement.

The neighborhood feels very safe but is still close enough to major roads, offering a very convenient location. The patio and backyard were lovely and the property manager provided enough amenities (toilet paper, soap, shampoo) that we could settle in without running to the store immediately. A solid 5 stars and would definitely stay again!"

Since the studio has its own entrance guests are free to come and go as they wish. This makes checking in really easy and convenient as guests don't need to schedule an arrival time in advance. Nestled on a gracious tree-lined street, we offer a beautifully decorated family & pet friendly home. Bring the whole family, including your pets to this home in the woods with a fenced yard for Fido and lots of room for fun! Our home is 1 mile from the commuter rail to Boston, MA and 2 miles to Concord, famous for Thoreau's Walden Pond (6.5 miles). Lots of conservation land nearby and off leash dog areas as well as a Children's Museum(Discovery Museum).
Our house has a 30 foot deck and firepit and is surrounded by forest on 3 sides.

Adjacent to this property is a train crossing. You may hear the signals going down but the train does not blow at this crossing. Very light sleepers are recommended to bring a white noise machine or use an app, especially in months that windows may be open.

Come vacation in luxury in a recently renovated finished basement all to your self! You have your own entrance and no shared spaces! The main bedroom has a full size fridge, microwave, cooktop & cozy queen size bed. There is heat and AC, pots and pans to cook with, and in 2nd bedroom/living area, a pull out sofa that sleeps up to two. The house is in a safe, suburban, upscale area only 35 minutes from Boston (outside rush hour). There is a grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants nearby.

Other things to note
We do have a young child upstairs who you may hear from time to time but she sleeps 9-11 hours through the night.

Bed in the room where the fridge is falls down why you sleep due to poor wood underneath. Dirty wash clothes found under couch and dresser in other room. Ants, and other bugs all over the place. Throw pillows smelt like old feet on one side and lysol on the other. Rugs in room were dirty and not moved to clean under or vacuumed. Bring your own water for the "water" from the fridge as stated is just a half filled pitcher."

Hotel shaped in Arrow, with all Rooms overlooking the Pool. Unique Conner rooms, and shaped in a triangle settings, with overlooking swimming pool in the middle from the corridors and hallways from each floor.

The Space:
In this space you have parking at your own private entrance. There is an outdoor patio with table and chairs. The bedroom holds one queen bed and one twin bed. There is a living room with couch, tv, kitchenette, table and chairs. The large music room bedroom, living room and kitchenette are on the same level as the entrance, and the bathroom is one step up. The shower is on the smaller size, 30” x30”. The suite contains full-sized refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee setup, and a table and chairs. There is a kitchen sink and prep counter, dishwasher, and multi-oven on counter. There are some high windows in the entryway. There is a large window and french door in the oversized bedroom. Note: the glass has a blur coating for privacy.

The whole bedroom is a “room in a room” acoustic space. Curved panels on ceiling, sound absorbing panels, no parallel walls. Electric guitar and amp are here. Bring your own instrument. Just no drums or bass please. Stunning professional sound quality.

The space is close to everything (Starbucks, train, historic sites). Easy parking, and very quiet and private inside.
There is also a queen airbed in the closet if needed.

Great location within 1/2 mile walk of the main town area. Host is lovely. Will add a note of caution to be mindful that there is a full step down from the bathroom doorway to the living area as well as a bit of an elevation change at the doorway from the living room to the bedroom. I got used to it but after stumbling a couple times the first day. (I tend to walk quickly and may not have given due attention.)"

Chickadee Landing is a spacious (991 sq ft), fully furnished renovated 1 bedroom apartment tucked away in a lovely residential neighborhood in historic Lexington MA. Comfortable and private, it features a separate entrance, full kitchen with all new appliances and granite countertops, workspace for a home office and ample off street parking. The apartment is located on the garden level (we live on the second floor). Whether you are on an extended business trip, or just looking for a place to stay a while, Chickadee Landing offers a wonderful home base.

The brand new kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, as well as a washer and a dryer in-unit. Bedroom has a queen bed and generous closet space. Window AC unit in the bedroom only. Private bathroom has a bathtub / shower.

The Space:
This space is completely separate and you will not come into contact with anyone from the main house during your stay, unless we need to help you with something that comes up.

Enter through the side gate on Cottage Lane to your private area. There is a patio with a table and chairs, and a hammock in season. Watch Concord’s Main Street drive, bike, and walk by as you read one of Concord's many local authors.

The space itself is one large room with a queen modern wood bed frame and mattress, marble breakfast table with 2 chairs, leather settee, small smart tv, bookshelf, and clothes-hanging closet. There is a kitchenette with microwave, half refrigerator, Keurig, and kettle. There is an en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and a zero-step shower with bench. The room itself is sparse without much additional decoration in order to keep the allergens low. There are minimal rugs and upholstery and there are window shades and simple curtains for privacy.

The value of this unit is its convenient location. This is the perfect place for travelers without a car. You can walk around Concord or head into Cambridge or Boston via commuter rail. The unit is a block away from Concord's Commuter Rail and depot district, .25 miles to Concord's beautiful library, and .4 miles to downtown Concord Center and all of the wonderful shopping and historic locations that offers. We are also 2 miles away from Walden Pond.

Mattress and pillows are covered with anti-allergen covers and there are no pets permitted in the room. Contact us about running our advanced air filter before you arrive or renting it during your stay for an additional fee.

Additionally, this unit has a one-step entrance, a low bed that is easy to get in and out of and has a roll-in shower with a bench seat and many handrails. We are looking to go to a zero-step entrance when we can. If you need more room by the bed for an assistive device, please let us know and we may be able to move the bookshelf in advance. It is quite sturdy and could also be used as a support.

Notes: Here I will address some comments from previous guests.
1) Please note that there is a cleaning fee clearly listed in the extra charges section.
2) Please note that the higher cost of this unit is due to its location. This isn't a glamorous unit, but it is neatly pulled together and has its own heat and air conditioner, separate entrance, full bath, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, outside patio, parking, and you can WALK TO EVERYTHING. If you want to spend less and you don't need the proximity that this unit offers, you may want to rent elsewhere.
3) There are no blackout curtains, and there is a high window with no blinds. If you have trouble sleeping with daylight you should bring eyepatches.
4) If the wifi is acting up, there is a direct wire plug-in in the room. So if you have important work to do it is a good idea to bring your own cord.
5) I do not have a second mattress or cot available for the room. There is only the one queen bed.
6) There is a washer dryer and it is important to use only a VERY SMALL amount of detergent and keep the lint trap clean so the machines don’t get damaged (Miele).

You are welcome to use the whole fenced front corner of the yard and patio outside your door. The rest of the property is private for the other airbnb (“Cottage Room B”) and for the owners.

The Neighborhood:
Downtown Concord, MA is THE quintessential adorable historic New England town. Head out the door and turn right down Main Street to get to most of the amenities.
The Depot area, which is even closer, hosts Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Cumberland Farms, two asian restaurants, Karma and Chang An, and one of the best restaurants in town, 80 Thoreau.
There are two markets within walking distance (Concord Provisions and Crosby's Market), as well as an Italian Market (Farfalle). There also lots of great stores, such as ATA Cycle where you can rent a bike, Albright Art, Revolutionary Concord, clothing stores, a hardware store, and more.

Getting Around:
The MBTA Commuter rail’s Concord Station is steps from this unit. The Fitchburg lines stops in Lincoln, Belmont, Waltham, and other metro west locations before going on to Porter Square in Cambridge and then North Station in Boston. There is a great MBTA app called mTicket that shows schedules and allows pre-purchase of tickets. It also shows schedule delays and alerts.
Uber and Lyft are also active in the area.
If you bring your bike you can leave it in my shed during your stay.

We have a few ducks that waddle around the front and back yard quacking and being ridiculous little creatures. They are afraid of people and run away. We sell the eggs at Debra’s Natural Gourmet in West Concord. A short fence separates them from your corner of the yard. Ducks love peas, so feel free to feed them peas or vegetables (no citrus or bread, please).

We also have a homemade Little Free Library on the corner of the property! LFL Charter # 106194.

You have access to the entire 1st floor apartment which is a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with an enclosed sunroom/porch, in our owner occupied 2-family house. The house is a well-maintained older home with character and charm, beautiful hardwood floors and other vintage details. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, large closet and a desk, while the second bedroom is a flexible room with lots of natural light, and can be used as an office or a bedroom (or both)! There is a desk and a queen sized murphy bed, which allows guests to fold the bed completely away and use the room however you prefer. The living room has comfortable seating, Smart TV, and a record player to enjoy music on vinyl. You also have access to dedicated laundry in the basement (washer and dryer) as well as the shared backyard space with a fire pit and propane gas bbq grill. Just let us know if you would like to use either, and we can get you set up.

Maynard is a walkable and bikeable residential town with a downtown area. We are located just one block away from Mill & Main, a large brick & beam office park, and a 5 minute walk to downtown Maynard. Downtown Maynard boasts many conveniences and amenities, such as restaurants, a brewery, boutique shops and even an independent movie theatre! There are also basic necesities like a pharmacy, convenience store and Anytime Fitness. The Assabet River Rail Trail is a bike path that runs right through Maynard, connecting it to neighboring towns, conservation land with hiking trails, commuter rail stations, and more. By car, we are less than a 5 minute drive to the Assabet Coop Market with groceries, fresh produce and local finds and also a 5 minute drive to Maynard Crossing @ Digital Way, a shopping center that hosts a mix of specialty brands and restaurants, such as Market Basket, 110 Grill, and Planet Fitness/F45/Cycle Bar. 6 - All departures must be reported immediately in a very clear way to us after for calendar availability to others and issue resolution for you, it is recommended to send an alteration request if needed, this helps you to get the unspent nights back while we get the calendar available again, we can then check the spent nights.
7 - All reservation changes must be done before the checkout time each day (10 AM), changes can not be done after 10 AM as per the app configuration, we can not override this.
8 - If you need an early departure, please submit an alteration request so it can easily be approved.
9 - No courtesy refunds are provided.
10 - If you happen to request a full refund for any circumstance please be ready for Immediate check-out, be sure to alternate the reservation for an early departure so we can approve the unspent nights that were supposed to be non-refundable, so we then might consider another courtesy for the spent night if applicable.
12 - If you want me to coordinate any amenities, please let me know 24 hours in advance (4 PM-12 AM) so my team can deliver or resolve on-site the next day.

The living room has vaulted ceilings with 2 couches and sitting area. One of the couches has a queen sleeper.
The family room has a very relaxing leather couch and a 50” 4K tv.
We do not have cable, but the WiFi is fast and can get you connected to Netflix or Amazon Prime on the tv.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. We also provide coffee, tea, oils and spices.
The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and accommodates 8 people comfortably. The linens and towels are all provided.

The check in time is flexible as I understand it’s hard to predict when you will arrive, checkouts are preferred to be at 12, but if extra time is needed we can definitely accommodate.

You are renting a ground-level apartment in my home with a private entrance, two bedrooms, living room and full bath. Both bedrooms have queen beds, bureaus and large closets.

The kitchenette area includes a microwave, small fridge, Keurig and drip coffee makers, Breville compact oven, hotplate with frying pan and sauce pan and cooking utensils, toaster and electric hot water heater. There is a clean-up sink around the corner in the laundry room and a kitchen table suitable for 4. There are all the usual plates, cups, glasses, bowls and flatware and plenty of empty cupboard space for your supplies. Food provided includes regular and herb teas, a selection of coffees, sweeteners, snacks and microwave popcorn. I have several coolers if you need more "freezer" space.

Your smart 55-inch Ultra HD 4K TV comes with over 150 cable and music channels as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is a DVD/Blu-Ray player and a large DVD collection along with a Bose radio/CD player. The high-speed Wi-Fi has a strong signal downstairs.

The laundry room is next to your space. Detergent and other supplies are on hand along with the ironing board and iron.

Plenty of extra towels, blankets, pillows and all guest amenities are provided.

Central heat and air conditioning with your own thermostat.

The Bruce Freeman rail trail starts around the corner which takes you all the way into West Concord (and beyond) so bring your bikes or rent them in town or walk 2.3 miles each way. There you will find several restaurants, funky shops an organic grocery store, the best ice cream shop in town and the Club Car diner (which is where us locals go for breakfast).

The rail trail also intersects the Old Artillary Range conservation land with its rockier woodland trail. Or drive three minutes to the White Pond conservation land trailhead. Other conservation walking trails are a 5-minute drive (10 minutes to Walden Pond). Download the All Trails app for nearby areas or visit the Concord Land Trust, Sudbury Valley Trust or Concord Natural Resources web pages for trail maps. The favorite historic walks are around Walden Pond, the walk from Ralph Waldo Emerson's house in downtown Concord to Henry David Thoreau's Walden Pond cabin site which both men traveled frequently to visit and around Sleepy Hollow cemetery with the Thoreau and Alcott burial places (and others) and Daniel Chester French (Lincoln Memorial) marble sculptures.

Pets in cages or tanks are welcome, but I cannot accept dogs or cats.

The space
In this space you have parking at your own private entrance. There is an outdoor patio with table, chairs, and couch. The bedroom holds one queen bed and one twin bed. There is a living room with couch, tv, kitchenette, table and chairs. The large music room bedroom, living room and kitchenette are on the same level as the entrance, and the bathroom is one step up. The shower is on the smaller size, 30” x30”. The suite contains full-sized refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee setup, and a table and chairs. There is a kitchen sink and prep counter, dishwasher, and multi-oven on counter. There are some high windows in the entryway. There is a large window and french door in the oversized bedroom. Note: the glass has a blur coating for privacy.

The whole bedroom is a “room in a room” acoustic space. Curved panels on ceiling, sound absorbing panels, no parallel walls. Electric guitar and amp are here. Bring your own instrument. Just no drums or bass please. Stunning professional sound quality.

The space is close to everything (Starbucks, train, historic sites). Easy parking, and very quiet and private inside.
There is also a queen airbed in the closet if needed.

Using the white remote, choose mode of SUN icon for HEAT then set temp to your heat setting, or choose the SNOWFLAKE and set the ac to your COOL setting. Choose fan AUTO to let the machine attain this temp, otherwise fan just stays on permanently. to start the system, click ON while pointing the remote at the wall unit.

TV: streaming services only, no cable.

Please do not go into the back yard through gate or glass doors as that is owner’s private space.

This is a private unit with no shared areas. It is the front corner of our house and is completely separate. However, you will share walls like in an apartment. Kitchen includes: sink, microwave, fridge, Keurig, and water boiler.
Private gated outside lawn and patio.
History, nature, dining & shopping are very close by.
Open and welcoming to ALL types of people.
There is TV with internet (Prime & Netflix) but NO LIVE TV OR CABLE

The space
This space is completely separate and you will not come into contact with anyone from the main house during your stay, unless we need to help you with something that comes up.

Enter through the side gate on Cottage Lane to your private area. There is a patio with a table, umbrella and chairs, and a hammock in season. Watch Concord’s Main Street drive, bike, and walk by as you read one of Concord's many local authors.

The space itself is one large room with a queen modern wood bed frame and mattress, marble breakfast table with 2 chairs, leather settee, small smart tv, bookshelf, and clothes-hanging closet. There is a kitchenette with microwave, half refrigerator, Keurig, and kettle. There is an en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and a zero-step shower with bench. The room itself is sparse without much additional decoration in order to keep the allergens low. There are minimal rugs and upholstery and there are window shades and simple curtains for privacy.

The value of this unit is its convenient location. This is the perfect place for travelers without a car. You can walk around Concord or head into Cambridge or Boston via commuter rail. The unit is a block away from Concord's Commuter Rail and depot district, .25 miles to Concord's beautiful library, and .4 miles to downtown Concord Center and all of the wonderful shopping and historic locations that offers. We are also 2 miles away from Walden Pond.

Mattress and pillows are covered with anti-allergen covers and there are no pets permitted in the room.

Additionally, this unit has a one-step entrance, a low bed that is easy to get in and out of and has a roll-in shower with a bench seat and many handrails. We are looking to go to a zero-step entrance when we can. If you need more room by the bed for an assistive device, please let us know and we may be able to move the bookshelf in advance. It is quite sturdy and could also be used as a support.

Notes: Here I will address some comments from previous guests.
1) Please note that the higher cost of this unit is due to its location. This isn't a glamorous unit, but it is neatly pulled together and has its own heat and air conditioner, separate entrance, full bath, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, outside patio, parking, and you can WALK TO EVERYTHING. If you want to spend less and you don't need the proximity that this unit offers, you may want to rent elsewhere.
2) There are no blackout curtains, and there is a high window with no blinds. If you have trouble sleeping with daylight you should bring eyepatches.
3) If the wifi is acting up, there is a direct wire plug-in in the room. So if you have important work to do it is a good idea to bring your own cord.
4) I do not have a second mattress or cot available for the room. There is only the one queen bed.
5) There is a washer dryer and it is important to use only a VERY SMALL amount of detergent and keep the lint trap clean so the machines don’t get damaged (Miele).

Please park in the driveway on Cottage Lane in any of the 4 parking spots (marked with lines) or on the grass in front of the sculpture.

You are welcome to use the whole fenced front corner of the yard and patio outside your door. The rest of the property is private for the other airbnb (“Cottage Room B”) and for the owners.

Other fun features: We have ducks and a Little Free Library !

We have a few ducks that waddle around the front and back yard quacking and being ridiculous little creatures. They are afraid of people and run away. We sell the eggs at Debra’s Natural Gourmet in West Concord. A short fence separates them from your corner of the yard. Ducks love peas, so feel free to feed them peas or vegetables (no citrus or bread, please).
